While we're on the topic of De-aging AU's I wanna talk about Jason and Damian if Jason was 14 again real quick.

Do you guys think that Damian looks at this version of Jason, so different from the version he knows, nothing like the person he was told Jason was, and feels uncomfortably seen?

Damian was always told that Jason died because he was reckless, because he disobeyed orders, he was fired as Robin and he got himself killed. A cautionary tale, not a threat to his position. He dismisses Jason because Bruce does, because Dick does, because sometimes even Babs and Alfred do.

That's not the kid that he's looking at now. This Jason is happy, and smart, and full of love that has not yet soured into grief. He hangs on Bruce's every word, trains until his hands bleed and his body gives out to perfect the moves Bruce teaches him. He looks at Bruce with stars in his eyes and he calls him dad.

And Damian can't help but think, that this is the perfect Robin. The perfect son. And if Jason - sweet, loving, strong, Jason - can be fired, can die and have his room locked away and his pictures torn down, can have his last memory as Robin be as A Good Soldier, how could the rest of them ever compete? What could Damian do to stand a chance?

Jason will never grow out of the shadow of Robin, like the rest of them did. As long as Bruce, and Dick, and Babs, and Alfred look at him and see a dead kid who came back wrong, he will never get to be anything else. He will not get to be looked at through who he is now without the shadow of a dead boy looming over him.

And the worst part? Jason is exactly the same person he was back then. Bitter, sure, angry, justifiably, but he is still the boy with too much love in his heart and righteous fury festering in his gut. He is exactly the same boy who threw himself in front of an explosion to save his mother.

(The lines between the mother that betrayed him and the father that disgraced him are so very blurred. Fire or blade or crowbars or fists it does not matter. It ends the same way it always does because Jason Todd always dies, in every universe, in every timeline, Jason dies and crawls out only to be killed again and again and again.)

What Could've Been For Prodigal Son Season 3

Okay, so I already made this post by reblogging to one of my other posts but I thought I'd make an official post for it so I can make more for the "other future seasons" lol:

Version 1:

Martin dies and things happen more or less the way they do in my fic "Carved in the Cradle" (yes, this is a shameless plug lol)

Version 2:

Martin is in a coma for most of the season.

Malcolm goes on a spiral and locks himself away from the world for months.

Dani and Gil, maybe with Jessica, go to have a real talk with him and Malcolm just looks disheveled. Not like he's been attacked, but he's just numb and self-loathing.

Dani is the one to ultimately bring him back by just saying the specific phrase, "Defending yourself against a serial killer doesn't make you a bad person" because she separates the fact that it was his father and focuses on the fact that father or not, Martin Whitly is a serial killer who tried to kill Malcolm.

Malcolm returns to work, and we get a couple of normal case episodes, maybe some focused on the rest of the team like Edrisa and her firefighter guy, JT struggling with being a tired new dad, maybe an episode about fathers and daughters and we get a flashback episode about the day Dani’s father died (I'm convinced it was an unexpected death), and of course, a Jackie episode.

All the while, Martin is in a coma but is completely in Malcolm’s head, like in 2x09.

We definitely get a Christmas episode this season, we get Brightwell moments until they have a cheesy kiss under the mistletoe moment and that's when they unofficially get together.

I say unofficially because they don't talk about how it changes things between them until the episode that would come after.

Malcolm also comes clean to her about what happened to Endicott. At first Dani is rightfully upset about being lied to but tells him to continue with the rest of the story because she knows it's been eating away at him. She gets legitimately angry when she finds out about Ainsley’s stunt with the pig's blood because messing with someone in that way is never okay, especially when that someone was just trying to do what they could in the moment. Malcolm tells Dani that he understands if she doesn't want to be with him now, but he felt wrong starting anything with her without her knowing everything.

And of course, Dani says that she still wants to be with him, to try this out between the two of them because all she's ever really wanted from him that he wasn't already giving was full honesty. She's still a little miffed at him for lying but she does understand why he did it, doesn't condone, but understands.

There would be revelations that call back to Season 1 and how perhaps Jessica, assuming that Martin was having an affair, wasn't completely off base.

An episode with Edrisa’s parents involved in a case or having useful info about their victim, but we also learn how she became who she is.

We have a theater episode and find out JT's mom is actually a successful Broadway actress and she's even more bombastic than Jessica. It makes Malcolm more confused when JT says that Malcolm’s mom has a good calm energy but then he meets JT's mom and understands.

A beauty pagent case episode for sure, and Dani and Malcolm both go undercover. They've been keeping their relationship under wraps (maybe only Gil knows because if they didn't tell him, he'd figure it out). There are a lot of Brightwell heavy moments, and Malcolm is reminded of his dream he had a year prior. Both Dani and Malcolm experience jealousy for the first time. It was different when they were just friends because neither felt like they had reason to be jealous but now that they're taking things slow, neither like the idea of someone else trying to get romantically involved with them.

Where is Ainsley in all this, you might ask?

She's taken up a six month job overseas to just get away from it all. She doesn't want to come to terms with the fact that Martin tried to kill Malcolm, she's mad at Malcolm for stabbing their father (again), and she's mad at Jessica because no matter how much she loves her mom, she always has beef with Jessica.

When she gets back after the New Year, she still will not talk to Malcolm and Dani can see that it hurts him.

Ainsley tries to get between Malcolm and Dani because how dare he even try to be happy when their father is still in a coma. It doesn't work, of course. This isn't the end of it.

If you were wondering about Gil and Jessica, no worries, they've been smooth sailings the whole time, even with the Jackie episode. It's revealed that Jessica never disliked Jackie but the reason she didn't go to her funeral was because she didn't want to see them put her friend and her son's second mother (the only one who could get him to actually eat anything when he refused to) in the ground, it was selfish but it hurt too much. She also stayed away from Gil because she had feelings for him and out of respect for both him and Jackie, she didn't want to seem like she was going after him immediately after Jackie passed but then the weeks turned into months and the months turned into years.

Gil and Jessica have a really healthy relationship now and that's what matters.

The season ends with an episode of a case of a young woman (can't decide if her name should be Lorelai or Katherine) who was almost murdered. She was raised by a single mother and she's also recently married, having married someone in the Whitlys rich circle of society. She's a bit of a social outcast because of her past (or her mother’s past) and she never knew her father, she doesn't even know his name.

They catch her attacker but not before they try killing her again but she does land in hospital. She's in need of a blood transfusion and Malcom happens to be the same blood type so he offers to help.

They find out a few important things.

The girl was born in either late 1999 or early in the early 2000 (I haven't decided yet lol), and she and Malcolm happen to share more than a bloodtype, they share DNA. The reason she never knew her father was because her mother never wanted her to know that dear old dad was arrested in 1999... for killing 23 people.

The season ends with Martin's eyes shooting open and man, he looks pissed!

Fishlegs is Alvin's Son? (HTTYD/RTTE Theory/Headcanon)

Well met, my fellow Furians! In connection with my Fishlegs the Outcast article (here), this is another article concerning the relationship between Fishlegs and Alvin the Treacherous Trustworthy.

Could Fishlegs be Alvin's son?

Why would I ask that? Well, if you're a fan of the books like I am, it's obvious I'd ask this question. In the books, Fishlegs was Alvin's son. (Spoilers: Alvin doesn't get a redemption arc in the books. He remains an unrepentant villain to the last! 😂)

Naturally, of course, this is the TV series, and TV Alvin is va-a-a-a-astly different from his Book counterpart. As is Fishlegs, for that matter. And, well, the entire story plot. So it just goes to show that it's 98% likely that they have zero blood relations at all!

HOWEVER!!! That doesn't mean that it's impossible! It's always plausible that Fishlegs could've been adopted, like in the books, and that his real biological father is Alvin!

Of course, in reality, Fishlegs and Alvin have had too few interactions to really authenticate this theory, but at the same time, it's also possible for Alvin to totally not recognize his son (especially if he's never seen the child to begin with), and thus treat him differently than if he knew that he was his son.

Regardless of whether this is true or not, the fact that this plausibility exists just adds an additional layer of depth to this relationship that wasn't there before, and I'm LOVING IT!! 🤩😍

Bruce's cloak moving because the batkids are under it is a lovely headcanon and everything… But the real reason Bruce’s cloak is always moving, even in the watchtower (because let’s be real his kids aren’t always there) the reason it’s always flowing majestically is Gotham. Bruce Wayne is Gotham's prodigal son, her darling baby, the one who looked into the darkness and was not afraid, but rather embraced it, and fought for her. Gotham makes the sky split open, makes thunder shake the earth and lightning fork the sky behind him to scare villains, Gotham brushes dirt off his shoulder lovingly and pushes a breeze no one else feels between his legs to make his Cale billow, Gotham cradled him every time he grapples, shadows cushioning his falls, Gotham makes the Batman fly. Even in the watchtower, where her reach is not long enough, Bruce has breathed her air too long, his body pumps more Gotham sewage than blood, his movement mirrors the flow of Gothams traffic, always moving to her rhythm, to the point where his Cale still billows, the shadows still seem to peel closer for him, his feet hardly touch the ground. Bruce Wayne, The Batman, is Gotham's first born child and she watches over him like a mama bear. He may not be a meta, but Gotham is older than magic, more ancient than water, she is and was and blesses all her children. Bruce claims he cannot control shadows, or the wind, but Clark still isn’t fully convinced that he can’t fly, Diana swears up and down that he lives a second life as a dancer, and Hal once saw him part shadows to look into a dark corner.

Pines Headcanons [Happy Birthday, Grunkles]

I cannot believe I just now got reminded of this- holy shit. Unfortunately, I'm not an artist so have these headcanons instead about Stan and Ford

Stanley ‘Lee’ Pines

He’s bisexual. This is not up for debate (/lh). It just made sense for him 

Stanley is ambidextrous. He can write and utilize both his left and right hands. This was something he self-taught himself in after the portal accident 

On the power of ‘I said so’, Stan does have some level of book smarts but instead of math or science- it’s creative writing. He’s got the talent for it; however, he rarely - if ever - shares these stories with anyone

Stan has some form of neurodivergency. Young Stan definitely gives the impression of ADHD but also I feel he’s got dyslexia- don’t ask me why. This is canon now

He does have scars from the time he spent on the run and doing his sales. I’m not sure what they are exactly, but just know he has them 

Stan knows martial arts. Other than boxing, I feel he would’ve taught himself in other forms of fighting- like the ones done on the streets and it’s a weird mix of martial arts and free-style fighting

He can be a bit of a poet, but for the most part- Stan prefers show-and-tell as his love language. He will present his partner with gifts, and makes sure they understand he’s there for them 

He’s kind of protective over his partners, and definitely has gotten into fights in an attempt to protect their honor. It’s ill-placed sometimes but he’s not about to let some bozo mess with them

Stan always sought his father’s approval. He attempted multiple times to perfect his studying skills before the science fair accident, but apparently Old Pa Pines didn’t seem to notice and the rest, well, it was already history

He fantasized of being a pirate when he was a kid. This is where the whole thing of going on a seafaring adventure with Ford came from! Unfortunately due to canon events, this soured out but he held onto a photograph he and Ford took in front of the beach as a memoir

He’s very much not a big fan of vegetables

Stanford ‘Ford’ Pines

He’s arospec and ace!

Ford absolutely loves puzzles. Why? It just weirdly fitting for his character

He definitely has C-PTSD following the events of Weirdmaggedon

Autistic Ford? Autistic Ford. There is no way he doesn’t have it- I said what I said

Before he got involved in the strange and paranormal, one of Ford’s main interests was actually crystals and rocks! It felt weirdly fitting for his character, and here we are

Ford is more of a cat person. At one point, he rescued a cat-adjacent creature from an auction and named her ‘Nova’. Of course, it’s far from a cat but well, we’ll get to that later

He would be into LARP if it exists in the Gravity Falls canon. Like, that man is a nerd and already enjoys the show’s version of Dungeons and Dragons, there’s just no way he wouldn’t participate in LARP

He does have scars from his time in other dimensions for thirty years. He’s very secretive about them and doesn’t let anyone see- not even Stanley

Ford deals with the aftermath of a burnt-out gifted kid- like, he was the prodigal son and got all the right honors, scores, all of it but as he got older- the more he struggled, the more he felt like something was missing. As the golden child, he was brought up with the notion he would be important but then got smacked in the face when he realized none of it truly mattered

He had a lot of issues adjusting to his new life in Gravity Falls, Oregon after he was brought back from the portal. Ford’s triggered fight-or-flight response would kick in with unexpected situations- like, he’s definitely pulled a blaster/space gun

He likes hot chocolate

Ford enjoys cuddle piles, let’s be honest here. Once he gets more comfortable, he begins making nests with the rest of the Pines family

He’s protective of his family!

Also, it is canon that Tommy was L'Manburg's main tactician. cWilbur specifically put him in charge when any actual fighting happened because the guy didn't know jack shit about that. And Tommy did a good job. Before Eret's betrayal he'd managed to push cDream and his goons back by quite a bit.

That boy is canonically rather gifted.

cWilbur's main talent was somehow making others see him as a respectable leader when, literally, he just pushed most of the works onto others, mainly Tommy, but also Niki and Tubbo. Niki was the one who made the physical flag, Tubbo was the one who time and time again gathered resources for L'Manburg. Eret too actually. And later on it's Techno and cDream.

If you truly look through the story, cWilbur hardly ever contributed anything

Hiii I've just come from your fic sins of the father (Really great by the way) And I am an absolute sucker for the unexplored dynamic between Fundy and Tommy and I just hate how no one talks about it in fanfics :'(

Anyway I originally wrote this at 5:40 in the morning while waiting for my mom to come home from work and I just couldn't stop thinking about this little blurb:.

Hours later the cake is done and Tommy's cooked lunch. Sure he told Fundy that he'd wake him up after he would finish the cake… But the man looked bone tired when he rushed into that house. So a couple hours more couldn't hurt him!

Plus Tommy would never admit it, but when Fundy called him Mama again he nearly burst into tears. And thank Prime for his poker face, or maybe it was Fundy's exhaustion that kept him from doing so. But it was time to wake the little fox from his long needed nap.

"Little Fox…" Tommy sang, practically cooed into the dim room. The curtains were pulled tight and Fundy was curled into a little blanket fort he'd definitely fashioned for his young son yogurt. It brought back old memories of Tommy doing the exact same thing whenever Fundy had a nightmare when he was young… Tommy sat on the edge of the bed tapping his son nephew gently. “It's time to get up little fox. Or- should I call you big fox now? Being as you have a little fox of your own?” Tommy asked playfully, only to be met with a grumpy smack to his hand as Fundy cuddled it to his chest just like he used to.

“No. I'm little fox. I'm always little fox.” Fundy murmured, stubborn and sleepy as he looked at his Mama. “Well then what does that make yogurt?” Tommy asked, a little confused and surprised by the stubborn sleepiness. “Tiny Fox.” Fundy answered with the simplicity of a 5-year-old proclaiming the sky is blue as he drowsily played with his Mama's fingers. Tommy barely suppressed a cackle at the simplistic response as he helped Fundy out of the bed. The redhead practically flopping over Tommy with how bone dead tired he was.

“Come on then little fox. Why don't you, me, and tiny Fox have some lunch and get some fresh air outside in the front yard Yeah?” Tommy suggested trying (and failing) to suppress, more giggles at how floppy his son nephew was. Tommy helps Fundy out to the living room setting him down on the couch while yogurt crowds him. Yipping and chirping about how much fun he had with ‘Uncle Mommy’ while Fundy just nodded along, happy to let his son ramble.

Yogurt continued to talk as they ate. Tommy nodding along and asking leading questions, encouraging the child. Once again it brought memories back to Fundy as he watched the both of them. Reminded of how gentle and soft and encouraging Tommy was with him and it made something bitter curl in his stomach. Because why was Tommy put in charge of a child while being a child himself? His incompetent father stretched him thin across the lands of a L’manberg and Fundy just couldn't understand why, it's one of the things he thinks he'll never understand.

Once they finished lunch together Fundy stood up, intending to take the dishes because Tommy had done so much already. And the last thing he wanted was to become incompetent and reliant on his mama. But it was yogurt who took the plates from him, running to the kitchen with a giggle. As Tommy followed after him with a small smile, looking at him just like he used to look at Fundy. Moments later the water was running and yogurt's happy yips filled the air as Fundy stood there in shock, wondering if Tommy's tactics had ever worked so well on him.

Later, Fundy found himself sitting on the porch stairs next to his mama, watching his son play in the yard chasing a butterfly innocently. They sat there quietly for a long while watching the youngest of the three play about like children were supposed to. That was until Tommy broke the silence, his voice barely above a whisper as he spoke. “I miss when your eyes were that blue…” Tommy said and Fundy looked at him with curiosity as he responded. “What do you mean?” Tommy let out a small chuckle as he continued to watch yogurt.

“I mean all foxes are born with the same beautiful blue eyes, If a bit of a shade difference, and as they grow it changes color… You used to have blue eyes like mine when you were young…” Tommy said gaining a wistful look on his face as if looking into the past, as he spoke. “You used to shout about how happy you were to have my eyes instead of your father's. I tried to tell you that that's not how it worked. That me and your father weren’t actually related, but you just wouldn't listen. it was quite adorable actually…”

And Fundy could do nothing but hum at the new information, because he didn't remember that. And he found himself wishing that the blue eyes had stayed, that he had eyes like his mama. He didn't know whose eyes he had, he couldn't quite remember Sally's anymore, she had left far too long ago for him to remember much about her. And he'd hate to have his father's eyes. He'd like to say he likes his eyes even so, Even if they weren't exactly like his mama's. And he found himself open that his son's eyes could turn out like his even though it was a small chance after all they aren't related by blood. He found himself looking at Tommy as that thought crossed his mind Maybe they weren't related by blood but maybe we didn't need to be…

So that was a lot longer than I anticipated it being… I swear it was an accident… The creative juices just kept goin.

But anyway I have way too many head cannons about these two especially Tommy So let me know if you want to know some of them 👍

Also this has gotten a little too long for me to do so here but I really want to talk to you about one of the little throw away lines that you put in sins of the Father but I'll do that in another ask (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;⁠)

With that tad bit of self promotion out of the way I wanted to say that I absolutely agree, it's a pity that we don't have more Tommy and Fundy-focused fics.

Which is why I was overjoyed to read what you wrote!! I loved it! It's a very sweet continuation. And it came at a perfect time because I was just re-reading that exact fic (yeah, sometimes I read my own fics, I am my target audience after all). And I absolutely love how you characterized Tommy, making him struggle to keep in mind that Fundy is indeed his nephew and technically not his son (he is his son in every way that matters, but shhh).

And, as my enthusiasm probably shows already, I would love to hear your headcanons! And I'll be happy to talk more about the fic too, absolutely.

What Type of Artist I Think the Redactedpeeps Are - Part 1

David - Aside from being one hell of a dancer, which has been confirmed several times can sing like a god I see him as a Josh Groban type, my headcanon ks he did theatre throughout middle and highschool. Man’s a triple threat.

Asher - Is not as much of a dancer as he claims to be. But, this bitch wields instruments like it’s his own fucking MJÖLNÏR. Guitar, phenomenal. Keys, he’s got you. Drums, he could have a crowd on their knees. And I just knows he’s got the most jaw dropping raspy rock tenor voice that will have me screaming.

Milo - Has got moves, his hips don’t lie, and while he might not be as good of a singer as the other two, this man CAN’T ACT. I picture him as Timotheé Chalamet in the prodigal son, accent and all.

Sam - Can dance, duh. But he also handles instruments with such delicacy, when this man picks up the guitar (acoustic) he can cast his own kind of sleeping spell. He’ll have you swooning with jazz and blues

Vincent - Is a writer, like he definitely went through an angsty poetry phase but still kept writing after it, seeing how much he enjoyed it. His favorite genres being romance and tragedy.

Darlin’ - Is also a writer, poetry mostly, they can spit verses like a sailor spitting swear words. They would carry a tiny notebook on hand for any spur of the moment lines that would come to mind.

Porter- Plays the Fiddle and damn is he good at it. Like picture an Artist AU and how he and Treasure would’ve met is at a bar he played at!

Elliot - Filmmaker. Yes it’s because he creates scenes as a dreamwalker.

Garroth

So, so, so stressed

Literally, PDH!Garroth is the perfect modern version of MCD!Garroth purely due to their stress levels being appropriately equivalent

(keep in mind ages and era, PDH!Garroth's stress levels are appropriately equivalent to MCD!Garroth's, not the exact same)

He's Captain of the Baseball Team, Class President (Katelyn is VP and she's so mad about it), on the Ru'Aun/Minecraft equivalent of the National Society of High School Scholars, Valedictorian, etc

He is that cousin your parents compare you to at every family gathering

Not Mentally Stable but He's Trying

In freshman year, Garroth convinces Zianna that he needs twice as much food for lunch and shares with Laurance (Zianna falls victim to her oldest saying it's totally normal for a "growing boy" to need double the portions as her pediatrician suggests)

He is such a good friend

Has a breakdown in freshman year of college and ends up running away from his family to Laurance's house

Is it running away if he's an adult?

Lol he's the prodigal son

Anyways, he doesn't go back to college

Ends up joining the military bc college didn't have enough rules for him to follow and he doesn't know how to function without a thousand things restricting him

Serves for like two terms (idk how military works) before coming back

He works construction during MS S1-S3 and is forced to quit for Emerald Secret

He knows how to break doors with one punch because he's built them and learned how to demolish them for demo days

Starts volunteering at the fire station with Laurance during Lovers’ Lane

Is not as much of a dunce as canon

He's genuinely really smart, extremely people aware, charming to an annoying extent, but as of his college breakdown, he just lets loose

He says what's on his mind, he speaks his truths, he eats what he wants, goes where he wants, does whatever he feels like--and if that's buying an unholy amount of feathers to woo the girl he's had a crush on since high school, then he's doing that

He clings to his crush on Aphmau because it's the first real thing that He wanted, not Garte, not Zianna, since Zane was born

He is his most honest self in MS

Zane

You know how Garroth's that cousin you're always compared to? "Why aren't you more like Garroth?" "He was valedictorian!" "He got 100 in every class all throughout middle school and got 95+ in high school!" "He was captain of the baseball team!”

Now make that your big brother

Zane is compared to Garroth from the moment he's born

He hates it

At first he looks up to Garroth bc Garroth is so good and how could he do any wrong?

Obviously he starts to feel overshadowed

It doesn’t help that Zianna dotes on Vylad when they’re really little out of fear he will feel different from his brothers

He can't do as good as Garroth did so he seeks attention by doing far worse

Starts acting out in middle school, gets worse in high school when Vylad accelerates a grade

In Graduation Days, Aphmau says that Zane "made everyone's lives hell" during junior and senior year with his Shadow Knights

I've chosen to translate that as he became the literal bane of everyone's existence

Has blackmail on almost the entire PDH faculty and the district board of education, he rules PDH for all intents and purposes

Nearly gets arrested/expelled/sent to juvie after Nicole gets her dad involved, replaces the whole faculty, and ends his reign of terror but the threat still lingers

Only reason he isn't in juvie is because Garte pays off about everyone to keep quiet and keep his son from going to jail and causing a scandal

Zianna thinks he can do no wrong so after a summer of being essentially on house arrest she gets him into FCU

He mellows out by MS, he's no longer the tyrant king of the school but the HOA Karen (that's basically canon I mean have you seen him in S1?)

Has measured Garroth/Laurance/Dante/Travis's lawn multiple times and hit them with a fine when it's 0.01 inch too tall or too short

Has fined them for packages on the street, for not shoveling their driveway, for the hot tub in their backyard, everything he could find

Had a cowboy phase as a little kid (homage to Kestin (his VA))

He blackmailed Vylad with being an affair child into joining the SK's in high school

Even while living with Garroth in Lovers’ Lane, when he’s especially mad, he will walk outside, measure their definitely not Up To HOA Regs lawn, and slam a fine notice on Garroth’s bedroom door

Garroth never pays him but he does buy Zane’s favorite consumer snack (ie. favorite snack not homemade by KC or Zianna) 

As of late S1 (Vylad's arrival), he gets extreme embarrassment the moment someone mentions him in high school

Has literal, physical plans on how to take over the world but burns them before moving in with Garroth and Laurance

Garroth didn't blind his eye!!!!

He covers one eye because of the Forever Potion experiments, the reason Garte pulled him and Garroth out is because one of Zane's eyes is permanently green (like both Travis' are)

Zane believes he just has heterochromatic eyes, but kids used to always ask about it so he hides it because it was annoying and then he just preferred to keep it hidden

He wears an eyepatch to keep it hidden even when his hair moves

For Minecraft/Mystreet Magic reasons, if he took off the eye patch, he could see in the dark only through that eye

Had a crush on Katelyn in high school

He doesn't realize this, but the reason for his animosity towards Laurance is because kid him saw Laurance's friendship with Garroth as Laurance stealing Garroth from him

Also the reason why he hates Aphmau during high school bc she's friends with Vylad

Aka despite claiming and actively trying to hate his brothers:

Zane loves his brothers

He was just trying very hard to prove that he hates them

Especially in high school...

He and Vylad do NOT get along bc of SK's in high school

Remember how in S1, Vylad just sorta says "Hi Zane" versus runs and hugs Garroth? Yeah

As soon as he sees Vylad in S1, Zane immediately regrets 100% of his actions in high school

He tries to apologize but Vylad avoids him, the closest they get to interacting is the fake dating arc, and Zane hates it bc he's realizing he actually cares about his brothers and he definitely screwed up with his little brother

He got a degree in finance at FCU

Intends to take over the family company bc Garroth doesn't want it and no way is Vylad taking it

Works at Ro'Maeve Co., has a company credit card but never uses it and instead uses the family card that's unlimited

Vylad

Garroth was Garte's golden child who had to do everything perfectly

Zane was Zianna's baby boy who could do no wrong

As a kid, Zianna tried to make sure Vylad didn't feel different from them then Zane started acting out for attention and she fell for it 

Basically raises himself

Garroth tries to be a good big brother but is usually too busy

He is 3 years younger than Zane, but in preschool Zianna fought for him to start early (he was a smart kid, Garroth and Zane used to teach him the things they were learning so he could do basic math and by like 4)

He nearly got kicked back down a grade because he refused to talk in class

Had a Parent-Teacher meeting and he tells Zianna “She talks to me like I’m stupid, why would I listen to her? Dad says—“ And Zianna covers his mouth and tells the teacher he can talk just fine, and he’s plenty smart, so please stop treating him like a baby

Aaron skipping a grade leads to Garte forcing Vylad to skip two grades and start high school early (he passes, the certified child prodigy) and starts at PDH on the second week of classes

The Most Chill Guy but Very insecure throughout high school

Knows he's an affair child and thinks that's why Garte ignores him (he's right) and why Zane hates him (no it's because Zianna gave him more attention when they were little and Zane hasn’t noticed that Zianna barely looks at Vylad when Zane’s in the room)

Sees Laurance more of an older brother than both Zane and Garroth

He's on the soccer team in high school and brings Zianna's kimchi once before practice and introduces Laurance to spicy food

Is 20x more likely to respond to a text from Laurance than from Garroth or even Zianna and Garte

Bonds with Dante over their 'Zvahl adoptions' (see Laurance and Cadenza's headcanons for elaboration)

High-key hates Zane in high school bc Zane blackmails him with affair child info

They both know that if it got out that Vylad wasn't Garte's, Garte would blame it getting out on Vylad and it would not be pretty

Vylad genuinely believes Garte would kill him if it got out

Betrays Zane in junior year by saving Garroth from getting hurt by the SKs, does it on instinct, and runs away out of fear

Literally goes off the grid/vanishes

The police CANNOT find him, he's like 14 (remember he's two-three years younger than his grade) and is hiding from EVERYONE

This is why he’s absent in Graduation Days despite being in Aphmau’s class and graduating with her

Zianna's literally heartbroken, she's terrified for her baby

This is a factor that leads to Garroth's total breakdown and drop out from college

Comes back pretty feral

Aphmau's the reason he comes back to civilization (Not-Alone-Buddies FTW)

He comes back like two years into FCU

To those who read the Travis head canons:

IF PDH takes place in a world with modern technology (as in it technically takes place in like the 2000s/early 2010s and they do not have snap, but if it DID)

Vylad starts a snap streak with Travis and Aphmau in early freshman year

Aphmau's ends bc of Ein in sophomore year

BUT EVEN THOUGH VYLAD DISAPPEARS

His and Travis' streak is going strong

They have like a streak of 3000+ and are on a leaderboard online

Vylad ends up going to college, lives on-campus and has a Ro'Maeve credit card, assimilates back to society through college

Gets a journalism/environmental science degree

He immediately ditches civilization the moment he graduates 

He has a blog and youtube he periodically updates with him doing the most absurd stuff

You know that River Monsters tv show? He's got a selfie with almost every single one of those river monsters

Has a selfie of him on top of the Eiffel Tower. Not on the platform, like he is literally hanging on the spire like he's a superhero or something.

Copies that picture on every single major skyscraper he can (Empire State Building, Chrysler Building) even the Kurj Khalifa

He takes a video while on top of Christ the Redeemer (the huge Jesus statue in Brazil)

Vylad is on the FBI's watchlist

He's on multiple countries's watchlist actually

Had a selfie of him alone in the North Korean equivalent of the oval office and is now on their most wanted (the photo technically doesn't exist anymore, but it's somewhere in the bowels of the internet and a physical copy exists in Vylad's travel scrapbook)

Has the biggest internet following of his entire family

Is technically more profitable than the rest of his family off his blog and YouTube and has a lot of money in his bank account which he never touches

He uses Laurance's address for his bank account

He considers access to the Ro'Maeve family bank account reparations for the emotional damage and childhood neglect, and exclusively uses it for first class plane tickets to whatever continent he wants

The only reason he moves in with Aphmau is because his name isn't on the lease and if the gov't wants to try and catch him at the airport let's see them do that when he stays in country

Has had the government track him down before but literally evades them, and they can't prove that he's evading them because technically they can't really be searching for him without a warrant which they do not have

I have a lot of thoughts about these three in particular...
