Hello ProbablyTooOldForThis readers! I have once again gone against my own rules regarding WIPS and posting! lol It's that huge post-canon thing I've been teasing for literal years. But it's so close to drafted and I just - I need something to motivate me to function and a deadline is one of the more reliable methods for that my brain has found.

This is set about 8 years post canon, when Viktor and Yuuri have moved back to Hasetsu to open their own training school. I'll update fairly regularly until i run into the first chapter that isn't done, which is a ways down the road yet, so i hope you enjoy. :) If this thing doesn't end up over 25 chapters I will be shocked. lol

When I started this blog on a whim shortly before the Beijing Olympics I fully intended to get another event running for these next Olympics too.... LOL I DID NOT DO THAT.

BUT HERE WE ARE. SUMMER 2024.

Just watched the opening ceremonies and i'm going to quote @probablytoooldforthis and say that Viktor would ABSOLUTELY commentate these games and have a grand old time. "I speak French! They have to hire me!" He also would have cried about Celine Dion like we all did.

ANYWAY. My personal Summer Olys event is going to be a reblog fest of many other YOI things, so look forward to some more posts

Oh my, a 50s YOI Fic?? Do tell!!

it started with me thinking about how well victor would fit into the 50s (appearance-wise) with his perfect hair and suits all the time, and then kinda... spiraled :') bc then i started thinking about burlesque dancer yuuri and how sexuality overall was viewed in the 50s and BASICALLY, it's a oneshot about photographer-victor helping his best friend magazine-writer-christophe with this new ~secret~ project of his (a magazine for queer people written under a fake name!), and he needs some good shots for the first issue... so... he hires this cute dancer he sees at the bar a lot to pose for him and has victor photograph him, and it's basically just an excuse for me to write about pin-up model yuuri :'D

[4-17-2021] After my car's transmission went out, I got this sudden urge to wanting to learn how to longboard. After researching different brands and costs, I wasn't entirely sure I wanted to invest in one (since it's probably a fleeting curiosity). But, for poops and grins, I decided to order a 27" Retrospec Quip Cruiser (delivered earlier today). It was only $40. Official Penny boards go for much more. Figured I'd get one just to get my feet wet and if I still have an interest, I'll get a proper longboard (probably one of those wide ones you can dance on). If anything, it'll be a fun Spring/Summer activity. Second YOI Olympics assignment complete! These are designs for Yuuri's costumes for the 2021-22 season, with the theme "The Land of the Rising Sun" (aka Japan, yes that's on purpose)

Designed in collaboration with @probablytoooldforthis since the original idea for the SP outfit had black pants, but her fic has Yuuri in white, so... white it is! It worked out anyway, since the white and red pairing lent itself to the rising sun theme.
