So true. People were way too hard on Rory, and what I always took from it was also "well I guess no one here's ever had gifted kid trauma" bc let me tell you if I was an overachiever my whole life, got to college, worked so hard to the point of burnout, got so close to achieving my dreams, and then the person at the top of that field told me I would never succeed in it no matter how hard I tried, how hard I'd been trying? Damn, I would've quit school entirely, not just taken one semester off...

I think the judgment comes from mostly people thinking she had it easy and was giving up all her chances for no reason, which I mean I sort of get, from the pov of people who never got to go to college for financial or other reasons, or people who don't have family to fall back to, but you can't look at these things in a vacuum. Rory was clearly going through a lot, and had a lot of trauma, not just from Mitchum, but from a lifetime of being told she was a mistake and of thinking she never truly deserved what she got, that she never fit in within those opportunities, like Chilton, or Yale, or her grandparents' world in general.

How come people never come down on Lorelai for running away from her parents, who were totally willing to take her in and her daughter, and making herself and Rory grow up with scraps when she could've guaranteed her daughter grew up safe and without any financial troubles? Sure, with her, we understand that she has incredible trauma from growing up with her distant, judgemental and stifling parents, but you could totally say the same about her that people say about Rory. She had every opportunity and just ran away from it. And endangered not only herself but her baby too! I'm not saying people should judge Lorelai, but that people shouldn't judge Rory either.

Idk, maybe because instead of venting about it, Rory's drug of choice has been repression for the longest time, so her internal issues and pressure and justification weren't spoonfed to the audience, and ppl weren't able to grasp it I guess 🤷‍♀️

Is the Gilmore Girls fandom full of nerdy overachievers? Because why else would Rory dropping out of Yale for one (1) semester be such a big deal? 5 years ago when I watched as an inexperienced high schooler I also thought that she was making a bad decision but now I see that people graduate late literally all the time, for various dumb reasons and it doesn't affect their future career at all. And Rory didn't even graduate late, she literally took a whole semester off and yet managed to still graduate on time! In one of the greatest universities in the world! So why does Rory get so much slander for this, both within and outside of the show? Everyone acted as if Rory was throwing her life away by working one semester instead of studying. When Logan, Colin and Finn literally also took semesters off, but unlike Rory used them to slack off, acted like forever students and actually graduated late, yet they are lovable? Make it make sense!

I’m still certain zim is physically a child (and prob mentally he acts like one) but age wise and by the speed at which their planet spins is technically sixteen in Irken years.

so he’s been alive for 160+ years but it’s possible considering how weird Irken growth his that he barely grew or even got older that entire time. another couple of giveaways is that he

a) sounds like a pre pubescent child and in the first episode we hear an Irken with a deeper voice who also appears to be taller. this figure, while partially hidden, looks similar to the tallest but obviously is not as high up as they are. The tallest have higher pitched voices than him but Yknow. Men can have high pitched voices. b) he (attempts) to flirt with tak, who at the time was only confirmed to be human and about 11 years old.

It’d be kind of weird if he was an adult.

c) zim acts sounds and Yknow, looks like a child through the entire series. Maybe you can just chalk this down to he’s short but from the pov of me who’s less than five feet and in high school, your face structure can be a dead giveaway about your age. Most people just don’t bother to look down long enough to see.

d) alright let’s talk biology. As we know humans start getting acne around 10-13 years old. now staring again, zim is an ALIEN and they definitely have different skin than humans do but the fact that zim can get acne and from the same source a human can might suggest a bit of a ballpark we can make.

e) “oh um zim is an invader though he’s probably an adult-“ do you see that planet? You think they wouldn’t use child soldiers for sweet, sweet conquest? Have you watched the show?

my main theory is that:

If you get taller you grow. Irkens could have a completely fucked up growth pattern that relies completely on growing. Who knows. Maybe some Irkens stay children forever (see child soldier note) and maybe some of them grow fast as fuck. this also supports the fact that the tallest went to class with zim but ended up in power. I assume at some point they grew taller, essentially got too old for school, were taken out and treated like royalty (thus explaining why they’re less serious than all the other Irken we’ve seen.)

of course I could be wrong. Whatever you headcanon is your opinion and it’d be unfair of me to push that on you. This is mostly for myself to get my thoughts out cuz I was going so insane I remember what tree bark tasted like (don’t ask.)

Full circle: What is the first song they ever wrote? Played? What’s the most recent? 

i think the first song she wrote is probably a song that eventually became eggshells, which is a rly angry/kinda devastating song on their most recent EP (glass houses). mommy issues core. it went through a lot of transformation over the years — from angsty teenage metaphors to kinda blisteringly painful adult ones — and the first time she ever sang it for the band, her hands shook the whole fuckin time. (seven was the only person to hear it before that). it’s pretty well-loved bc it’s got a lot of raw, emotional vocals, backed up by a pretty sick beat and some of rowan’s best work.

the most recent song would probs be forecast fires, which is actually hornet’s nest’s audition song for botb!! it’s about seven LOL. very angry and kind of tragic/ever-so-slightly wistful if u actually listen to the lyrics, but it’s upbeat and the kind of song u can’t help dancing to.

Beginnings: When and how did they know they wanted to be a professional musician? Was there a deciding factor?  

marnie’s always been into music; she grew up singing along to her dad’s old fleetwood mac & joan jett records and started taking guitar lessons young (mostly as an excuse for her parents to get her out of the house lol). she started writing when she was about 11 (not long before she met seven) and used to mess around with putting some of her songs to music, but she wasn’t super serious about a career in music for a while.

it was seven that first planted the idea in her head, but once planted, it rly took root. he was always the one pushing her, telling her that her music was good, that they could do this, and she only half-believed him until the very first time that their fans sang along to their music at a gig. then she was kind of like this is what i’m made for; giving people something to dance and sing to.

when seven left, though, she got a lot more serious about it. it kind of became a thing of i don’t need you, we don’t need you, we’re gonna make it after that, mostly out of spite and hurt but also because the fans loving her voice on its own was kind of a novelty for her. now she knows she wants to be singing to people until the day she drops dead LOL.

Fans: How is their relationship with their fans? Do they go out of their way to interact? 

oh marnie looooves her fans lol. she especially loves the kinds of fans that everyone else gets embarrassed over; the gushy ones, like maya. they make her feel loved, bro, and as someone with huuuuge abandonment issues, that’s better than crack. but even if ur not gushing over her, she’s probably rly excited to be seeing u, bc she just loves that people listen to her.

she’s a very sociable rockstar lol. she’ll hug fans, she’ll make a real effort to get them involved at their gigs — getting them to sing, talking to them, generally being a great stage presence — and she’s always happy to stop for a picture or autograph at the grocery store. it just thrills her bro!! she’s probably so pro-vespids (👉👈 maya came up with that n marnie ADORES it) that orion’s had to take her socials away from her sometimes bc she can’t stop tweeting back to people n they do not have the time, ross, you were supposed to be at rehearsals a half hour ago!

Voice: What does their singing voice sound like? Do you have voiceclaims(s) for them? 

throaty & husky; pretty sensual. she sounds a lot like grace vanderwaal i think (this is a good example) so her voice is very raspy and distinctive. pretty recognisable. i know, like, literally fuck all about singing, but after a lil googling i’d say her voice type is contralto, so she’s on the lower end of the vocal range.

Storybeats: If you could design one scene to happen in the story, what would it be? How would it change your character? What would make it so satisfying for the character arc? 

oof. probably some kind of confrontation with her parents? a lot of marnie’s motivations can be boiled down to “i can make it on my own, i can prove it” and essentially trying to show how capable/independent/good she is, so getting some kind of closure with her Very First Abandonment would probably be huge. i don’t picture them making up, really; more just some kind of moment that makes marnie realise oh, i don’t have to prove shit to these bastards. i think the closure would at first be pretty painful for her and she’d fuck off to go get high and block out the world, but if she could get over that, i think she’d come out the other side feeling a lot more secure in herself and who she is. probably a lot less desperate for acceptance & love, too.

im gonna try to keep this a bit briefer but i also think some kind of acknowledgement about her unhealthy relationship with party drugs would b very helpful to her. she’s not high all the time by any means, because she actually takes her career pretty seriously, but she definitely uses parties & coke to get out of her head when she doesn’t want to be there and it’s caused some problems that have made orion rip his hair out.

Seven: Do you have headcanons about their friendship and/or romantic relationship (past or future)? What do you imagine some of their best memories are? What do you think some of Seven’s favourite things about your MC were/are?

oof seven meant everything to marnie lol :) for a very long time, he was her first constant, her greatest constant, because her parents wanted nothing to do with her and she was just… so lonely. and then he was there, warm and funny and a little dry, and he was taking her to his mom’s place and understanding her music and commiserating with her over the yawning black emptiness both of them felt at times. how could she not fall in love, u know?

they pined for each other for most of their teens before finally getting together when they were abt 20. probably the first time they wrote a song together was marnie’s first Oh I’m In Love moment lol, but her fav memories are all the times they hung out drunk as shit on the roof of her parents’ place as teens, sharing a blanket and pointing at the stars n making each other laugh.

another good memory: marnie dumped her crappy boyfriend just before prom when they were seniors, so her and seven skipped prom night and drove to vero beach to drink beer and have an impromptu bonfire, and marnie ended up out in the water in her fucking dress jumping waves with him, and it was just… very soft n sweet. she misses those days.

i think seven always liked marnie’s sense of humour (she’s very sarcastic but in a warm kind of way?) and how blunt she was; there’s not a conniving bone in her body (which is what made The Vote so painful for him, among other things) and he always appreciated that. her loyalty, too. on the smaller side of things, he always thought her laugh was the greatest thing about her, because it’s loud and snorting and always so genuine. he misses it sometimes

When he looked at your eyes for the first time, Eddie lost interest in blonde girls with big breasts. Now he could only think of your eyes and your small perfect body. He got so lost in the softness of your big bright eyes, the way your hair swayed, and the scent of roses and bergamot in your perfume. In the beginning, it was weird for Eddie, he never crushed so hard for a woman, not even for a female rockstar or a model from his adult magazines. This was different, it was real.

One of the most special memories he had with you was from the week of thanksgiving. He gave a small concert with Corroded Coffin in a bar, and he told you to go with him. Eddie thought you would get bored, you were not the most rock-metal girl in Hawkins. But he was very surprised when he saw you dancing with Jeff’s cousin, watching you dancing to one of his songs was a boost for him to perform it better. After the show, he drove you home, and you told him you were proud of him. That night was the first time he thought about kissing you. Sure Wayne told him good things and made him feel better, but Eddie felt he constantly failed his uncle. So having you healed him, made him want to be better. He even got a C- on the classes he had with you.

So he watched you now, your hair was messy, your green shirt had some blood, and parts of your neck were scratched with dry blood. But thankfully, you didn’t have a big injury like Steve had. And yet to Eddie, you were still perfect, after seeing you fighting with tons of demo bats, he knew you were made for him; a strong, hot, and gorgeous woman.

You could feel his eyes on you, but your attention is on Lucas and Max talking at the end of the RV. You could see that Lucas lightened your red-haired friend. Maybe they were three years younger than you, but it looked like what they had was real love. They were in the phase where they didn’t know what was love for real, and you conclude that is better that way.

Finally, your eyes meet Eddie’s, it feels like he’s appreciating you. So you arch your brow, questioning him.

“What?…” it doesn’t feel like it did some days ago, you can’t hate him. Not when he’s been so protective over you.

“You’re smiling, I haven’t seen your smile in some days” After Max almost died, you valued what you had. A gorgeous guy who hurt you, yeah. But, he wanted to give you a proper explanation and had been so attentive to you in the harshest moments, which you considered the most important moments when validating a friendship.

“Look at them…” you indicated in a low voice, pointing at the young couple with your head. Eddie turns to see them, he doesn’t say anything, but he understands. He saw that with Nancy and Steve back at the lover's lake and the Upside Down. “That’s love…”

You don’t mean to make it awkward again, so you look down at your legs, ending the conversation. You hadn’t been too close to Eddie since everything started, it mostly had been looks that said: be careful, it’s gonna be fine, oh thank god you’re alright.

Maybe the actions had been speaking more. When he grabbed you from falling in the Upside Down after that tremor. Or when he pushed you to prevent more demo bats from scratching and biting your neck.

“I can’t believe you slaughtered that bats while bleeding” he tried to start a conversation again. You raise your head to see him, and your smile, but the thought of your aching neck made you touch it with your fingertips.

“Does it look that bad?” You ask shyly. Eddie gets a little closer, pretending to inspect your damaged area, but instead, he’s looking at your necklace. A gold string with a microscopic ring hanging, pretty, he thought.

“Nuh-uh, you have to take care of it, but… you looked badass right there. I said to Harrington you two had an Ozzy level moment” he feels like he won when he hears you laughing. And he remembers Steve’s words, he said that you were like his little sister, he cared for you a lot, so he made him promise to never hurt you. Eddie was relieved to have Steve on his side when he explained what happened with you two the day that Chrissy died.

“You’re an idiot, Munson” you mutter, still laughing a little at his musical concert references. “Pray I don’t get a disease as Ozzy did, please”

You stop laughing when you hear Steve and Nancy talking, so you guide your eyes and head to them, indicating Eddie to hear. He stays quiet and hears about Harrington's six little nuggets.

He definitely doesn’t want six fetuses, he would go crazy. But he can see you with at least two nuggets. So he can’t blame Steve, he can’t laugh, because he wants the same thing, but with you.

“You have to be fucking kidding me” so every girl in Hawkins who was buying guns decided to also take all the black turtleneck shirts, leaving just one extra small.

“You can fit on that, plus, it’ll cover your neck,” Max says, handing it to you. You take it hesitating and grab a pair of military boots.

“At least it’s a cool outfit” Max giggles at your words. She throws a package of little explosives at you, making you frown, but there’s nothing weird with that anymore, since you were preparing to kill a supernatural monster.

“Let’s go, we need more bandages for Steve” the red-haired follows you through the store, grabbing more things around.

“So when are you talking with Eddie?” Her question surprises you, you didn’t think Max would ask you about the topic.

“I don’t know, Why are you asking?” She drags the car across the hall, slowly.

“The poor guy looks so down for you” you smile, feeling blushed. Even when there’s a big crowd in the store, you feel like there’s anyone around, just Max and you.

“Funny, because when we found him in the boathouse, I told him we were never being friends again” Max stops the car. Looking at you with wide eyes.

“Girl, you’ve traumatized him!” You start laughing, and she joins you. Maybe she was right, you weren’t being an easy girl with Eddie. “No, but, you should talk with him. With all that is happening, I wouldn’t want to leave anything on bad terms, especially with someone special to me”

You feel bad for her suddenly, Max was cursed. Her life was in danger, real danger. Of all your girlfriends, Max was the funniest, her dark humor matched yours, and hanging out with her and Steve was one of the best things. You missed her, you missed the Max from 1984. And it saddened you that just when she was becoming herself again, she was at risk of being gone again.

‘I promise you I will talk to him. Just as you are getting out of this…” she stood quiet, so you hugged her, and she accepted the hug. “It’s gonna be fine”

“Hey, we really have to go!” Steve Robin and Erica were waiting for you at the beginning of the hall, looking agitated. Max takes the car and walks at a fast pace to them.

Lucas pushes you and Eddie is fast enough to catch you, falling against his chest.

“Sorry pumpkin,” he says in a rush. After encountering Jason and his friends, everyone knew they had to get out of the store.

“Yeah, sure, asswipe” Eddie laughs confused after Steve throws some things at him and helps you seat beside him again.

“What happened?” you sigh, feeling the RV finally moving.

“Jason and his anti-satanic club hunting us” everyone takes a breath after getting into the highway again, you brush your hair, spreading it across your scalp.

“You should have seen, the guy questioned a lot for the blood on her neck” Jason tried to intimidate you, but luckily, Robin saved you. The news caused Eddie to react.

“What? Did he hurt you?” He asks trying to find something in you that could tell him if you were hurt.

“No, I’m fine” you simply say.

“I’m sorry…” he suddenly says, and you frown, confused. He noticed though. “For dragging you into this”

“Hey, I know I said we weren’t going to be friends again, but… What are friends for?” you offer him a sad smile. And Eddie feels a shiver when he sees your face, he can’t let you go.

“We’re talking about it…” his tone is serious, and you feel your heart beat very fast.

“No, please. Not now…” you promised Max you would talk with him, but that wasn’t the moment at all.

“Pumpkin…” he calls your name a few times. But you stand up to go with Erica and Dustin.

Postpone that talk as much as you can, you think to yourself.

It was nice to be able to peacefully breathe, and have a moment to rest. There was nothing around, no traffic, no hysteric people, and no sounds of civilization. You look around, Steve is near counting some bullets with Erica and Lucas, Nancy and Max are seated a little far, then Dustin and Eddie are playing like some idiots.

You remember Robin’s face at the store, she briefly told you what happened with Vicky.

“Hey, Are you, okay?” she stops working and looks at you.

“Yeah, I mean… well, I don’t know” she shrugs and sighs. “It didn’t feel cool to watch her kissing some dude. Not when I thought…”

“…There was a spark in there” you complete for her, and she nods. That was exactly what happened with Eddie and you, but it was worst in your case because it was your best friend. “That’s exactly how I felt when I saw that asshole with Chrissy.”

Robin giggles when you point at Eddie playing with Dustin. “It feels like, all you did, all your feelings were for nothing. You feel like an idiot with yourself”

“That’s exactly how I feel” you place your arm across her shoulder.

“Don’t worry, we’re not even twenty. There’s a whole world outside of Hawkins” she smiles and then looks around too.

“I don’t think your feelings were for nothing…” you look at whatever she’s looking around only to notice Dustin and Eddie looking in your direction. You rapidly hug Robin, hiding your face in her neck.

“Please tell me they stopped looking…” Robin laughs and pats your arm.

“No, but Dustin just kicked Eddie” your heart was beating faster than in the upside down, you want to hide in Robin’s neck forever. “Oh, he’s coming here”

“She doesn’t want to let me go, Munson” it’s the first thing Robin says when he arrives, innocently, trying to have your back. Some seconds of silence, and you know Eddie and Robin are having a battle of killing looks.

“Well, that’s it…” you suddenly feel someone grabbing your waist. And then, Eddie is carrying you over his shoulder.

“Eddie, what the fuck? Put me down!” you can hear Robin laughing loudly. Erica looks confused and Dustin looks happy. The other idiots are not paying attention, thankfully.

“You left me with no choice. We’re talking, right now” finally, he lets you go. You are far from your friends, and the smell of the plants was stronger, it wasn’t bad though.

“Great Eddie. Here I am, ready to pull up a memory I want to sink in the bottom of my heart” he sighs, covers his mouth, and takes some seconds.

“Okay, first of all… I’m sorry for not letting you know I was with Chrissy” you suddenly feel awkward, so you cross your arms over your chest, looking at the grass. “I had the deal with her at school, we talked for some minutes, but she told me she wanted something stronger. So I told her she could come to my place”

“I had any intention with her other than selling her drugs, okay? I thought about driving her to her home and spending the night with you. I wasn’t ditching you…” you hear him, but you focus your attention on the clouds, appearing in pink and orange colors.

“And… you should know that I’ve never had anyone who cared so much for me, not even Wayne. You are the best thing it happened to me, when you walked on your first day of classes, I thought you were the prettiest girl, and then you said you liked me” he smiles at the memory. “I felt so relieved that you accepted me just the way I was”

“Not only you care for me, but for all the kids right here” he points at the guys, and you glance at them “you’re smart, pretty, caring, and so hot. I’m so sorry I said in your face some of it about Chrissy. I think I just wanted to… make you jealous”

“Well, it worked, dickhead” his hands end on your shoulders, and you know it’s time to finally look him in the eyes.

“I know, the thing is… I love you too” nothing in the world could compare to the nervousness you were feeling, how hot your cheeks felt, and how you could even hear your heartbeats “Fuck, I’m not the best with feelings but, I know I love you. I was already attracted to you the moment I saw you, but I really fell in love with you the day you came to the concert. Remember that you told me you were proud of me?”

You nod, smiling. That night was so memorable, and you weren’t lying when you said that to him.

“Yeah? Well, I wanted to kiss you so bad. On all those occasions I’ve called you sweet things or hugged you, kissed your head. All those times I’ve looked like I am at your feet, it was real. Because I am madly in love with you”

When you look at his face again, you burst into tears, his beautiful brown eyes look worried and he carefully wraps you in a hug.

“Oh no, don’t cry. No, I swear it’s real, pumpkin”

“Oh gosh, now I feel like an idiot,” you say hugging him back, crying in his chest. “I’m sorry for being so… harsh. You needed me and I was being stupid. I’m sorry, Eddie”

“Hey, don’t feel sorry. For example, if I had found you with Harrington when we had plans together, I would be pissed, sweetheart” you laugh looking up at him, still in his arms.

“I’m sorry that all of this had to happen to tell how we feel about each other” he nods, he understands. You feel sorry for Chrissy, even if it sounds weird, you feel bad for Jason “But I’m so sorry for you, Eddie. You don’t deserve any of this” his hand reaches your wet cheek, and he smiles.

“Hey, hey, it’s fine. We just have to kill this fucking Vecna and we’re free, and now I know the love of my life also loves me. Everything is fine” you laugh, and you realize he’s right. You can do anything, you can prove his innocence, and fuck it.

“Yes! We’ll get you a fake high school diploma and we’re leaving to California”

It’s been days since you haven’t seen his cute smile, he’s happy, very happy. For some seconds he even forgets they’re not over with the mission, it’s about to start, but now he has you.

“Babe? it could be a little fast but… I want us to get married on the beach” your smile only grows, surprised by his statement. But, if you survive whatever your next encounter with the upside down brings, fuck yeah!, you are marrying Eddie Munson. “What do you say?“

You jump to hug him again. “Yes, yes, yes!” you feel him carrying you again, and then he spins you a couple of times.

“You are the most amazing woman, you know?” You’re laughing, he’s laughing, it’s perfect.

“I love you…” he says once you’re on the ground again. You don’t think you’ll ever love somebody as you love him. Because nobody would fight monsters for you, nobody would risk his life for you as he did.

“I love you too” and finally, he kissed you.

It felt like in those old French movies, the romance, and love. You tug your fingers in his long hair, while one of his hands is on your hip and the other is lovingly caring for your cheek. You can hear Dustin screaming finally, causing you and Eddie to smile in the middle of the kiss.

“I need Steve and Nancy’s blessing…” Eddie rolls his eyes, and follows you, while you hold his hand.

“Dude, go and help her to get that wound healed” Eddie grabs the bag and drags you inside the RV.

He guides you to the small bathroom, there’s a small sink and shower, and you feel relieved, you needed a shower.

“I’ll wait for you outside, then I can help you with your neck” before he can step away, you grab his jacket.

“Wait. Come with me… we can have five minutes of fun before getting into the monster hunt” he opens his eyes, he wasn’t expecting that insinuation. He wasn’t protesting, you two had been in closer situations, it wouldn’t be weird to show all of your love when you just confessed your feelings.

“Are you sure? Because fuck, I’ve wanted it since I meet you, but…” you take the clean towel you bought and start taking off your shoes.

“I’m getting in the shower. You can just sit and watch…” your flirting tone sends a shiver through his spine. And blood starts rushing through some parts of his body, creating a fire in his stomach.

Random Self-care suggestions from tired adults:

Brush your teeth, listen to me... you get one set of adult teeth and dentistry is expensive. And take your meds. And get vaccinated for the love of FUCK.

Pre-diced frozen veggies. Seriously, people, sometimes you can have all the ingredients, but a full sweet potato can just drain your willpower if its been a Big Day. Get yourself some pre-diced and/or frozen vegies an whack 'em in the freezer.

Canned Fruit / Fruit Salad Fresh fruit is great, but can be very anxiety inducing when you have a 20sec window to eat the damn thing... there is nothing inherently wrong with having some canned fruit around. IS it as fresh as it could be? No. But it's still fruit.

Change your pillows once per year (at least) Esp, if you have respiratory issues or sensitivities. After 12 months, you have dust, dustmites, their poop, dead skin, and all manner of body fluids (sweat, drool, tears, other) in them. CHANGE THEM.

Have a second bank account for savings You can slide two bucks in there each pay or whatever, but there is a level of stress that can be taken off knowing that if you suddenly have an unexpected household/vet bill or all your teeth turn into goblin scholars... you can at least make a downpayment for urgent support. And be open with a vet or dentist, bc mostly they have payment plan options as long as you can meet a minimum deposit. [There is VetPay in Australia, too, aparently]

Shopping list Your brain will be salsa by the time you get to 5pm or later most days, have a post it note with cryptic scribbles or maybe a stone tablet reminding you to complain about a certain merchant... it stops the "Ah, fuck... I forgot the..." moment. But also be nice to yourself. We all fucking forget something several times over, that's adulthood.

Basic Meds In your home, you should have some basic stuff in a first aid drawer. IF you're on a farm, you probs have one. Super stark basics are painkillers, bandaids, a bandage, tweezers, lozenges, hydralite or similar dehydration support, berocca or similar (similar for rehydration), cold and flu stuff, tissues, lipbalm and similar. Please be careful of using ibuprofen if you are on SSRIs.

Bulk / Reuseable If you use things like handsoap or laundry soup, you can get a BIIIIG bottle that refills the smaller ones several times over. It can be very helpful in the household if you can afford it.

Premade Meals Nothing wrong with something that can be bunged into the microwave or oven. Quick and easy still counts, and is better than hungry.

Variety Silly, but true. You will get bored of routine rapidly. A multipack of something with multiple options (eg. the little cereal packets of different kinds, chips, etc) can give soe general variety without making you go out of your way to make things Magical.

Make a Treat Put whipped cream on your ice cream. Put some jelly in the fridge and let it set so future you gets a snack. Buy the pre-made cookie dough and cook yourself something. Feels good to Make Things. Plus, a treat.

Do a physical craft, hobby or task. Especially if you are an anxious person, having a small task to do with your hands can and will help to ground you. Even if it is just a crossword puzzle in a magazine, etc. IT gives you a sense of achievement, releases physical tension, and you can make fun stuff. [ALSO: Make bad art / don't try to monetise your hobby See #5, but don't place expectations on yourself. IF you muck up five or twenty time sbut get it on the 21st? Hell yeah. >Listen to me, the people on etsy and similar sites? They spend a LOT of time and effort and money to create and provide those items. This is, in effect, mostly their Job. It's okay to just have something you do for fun, you don't need a side hustle! You don't have to turn every waking moment into profit! It will make you miserable.]

Do not listen to youtube ads / MLM propaganda All that bullshit about 'only work 4 hours and make $$$$' is MLM nonsense. It's a scam, ignore it. Also don't buy things that youtubers are made to shill to you... there' a bunch of good posts about how shitty those things are.

Work out a fragrance you like Get something that smells like it. Shower gel, soap, candle, one of those pillow sprays, etc. IT woill make you feel better.

Sheets Change them. Weekly. At the absolute max, fortnightly. I know it's a bitch and a half but there's nothing on earth like being showered and on clean sheet. 10/10 baby.

Water Drink it. If you can't stand base water, do not HESITATE to try the cold water steeping stuff, and if that's as weak as nun's piss to your tastebuds, try cordial.

Clutter Don't clutter your space up, you will start to feel overwhelmed and blocked in. Get all the fun tacky ornaments you want... but make sure there is somewhere for it. Use a second person as your "Do you REALLY need it?" guy, because your Want is not always a Need. Always think about a goofy purchase (for instance, a horse-sized snorlax plush is great in theory, but where would you put it?).

Delete Candycrush / Clash of Clans / Merge Games / the other games that demand constant attention and money They won't make you happy, they want your money, they want you desperate to spend real life cash to earn that sweet extra life for... no real payout. Yeah they can be fun but pay attention to your engagement with them. Some people have lost a LOT on those little apps, because they are literally made to be addictive.

Don't Wallow If you're in the dumps and cycling through stupid shit in your brain, tell it it's bullshit and go do something that takes focus. A puzzle, talk to someone. Go straight to be in a room with other people. Hell, go to the library and just be around people or chill at the park if you can. 20. Work out local supports Check out if there's a 24/hr servo in the area that you can access in an emergency. Know how to get to the hospital. Look into what local services there are around health, housing, community engagement

Don't kill (prank or otherwise bitch about on social media) your roommate/s No matter what they do, or how annoying they can be, they are not forever. Imagine it if you must, but look for other options and get out. None of those ridiculous passive aggressive prank wars or sniping on social media. Some people don't click well in an enclosed space, it happens, but you will look ridiculous if your every social media post is a rant against X, or you do things that can be considered offences against Y. I know tiktok and the youtube prank channels make this stuff look Interesting, but it isn't. Adulthood is compromise. SElf-care is reacting in the best way you can to bad situation, because unfortunately social media is literally impacting people's jobs.

Remember that there's nothing wrong with being solo There is a lot of pressure, and more than a few people have confessed feeling that they Should Be in a relationship or with kids by 25... but remember. You are you, and your journey through life is like no one else's. Jumping from relationship to relationship can cause more harm, especially if you haven't had time to find out Who You Are outside of a Couple (or more). There's time. You've got time guys. Remind yourself that no one knows what happens next, and its only in hindsight that the thread of your life becomes an intricate pattern of choices made, paths not taken, etc. None of it is inherently wrong, just things to wonder on... if you went with B not A, etc. --------\ add to this if you can think of something off the top of your head do feel free to ask if there's another way to do something or a way to make it self care... the sade truth of adulthood is that you can, and will, get excited to have new cleaning items and more efficient ways to do stuff

Hi same nonny as usual haha! You asked for my thoughts on the spring troupe so now that I've finished the summer troupe debut I'm going to knock out two birds with one stone! I liked summer troupe a lot more then spring troupe. Not that I didn't like spring troupe! I just think that they didn't really communicate with each other?

The only reason why sakuyas issue with swordfighting was resolved was because masumi happened to be eavesdropping on a convo with the director, and why someone knew about itarus injury was because of citron noticing. I'm not saying there was no communication at all these two issues just. Bothered me so much the swordfighting one a lot more then the injury. The thing that bothers me about the injury is that itaru wasn't like. Told off for not telling anyone about his injury. Cause he could have seriously damaged his foot or something. I get that in the future there's probably going to be character development for itaru that lets him open up more to his troupemates. The swordfighting one just felt like a cop out to have a "moment" between sakuya and the director instead of having sakuya discuss that stuff with his troupe (which, bleh do not care for the characters flirting with the director at all. wish it wasn't there but I get why they do it.)

Despite my griping I did really enjoy spring troupe! They were fun! They just felt less trusting of each other then summer troupe at the end of day. And I get that char Dev will prob happen bout that but still haha. That's my thoughts on spring troupe! I could just be horribly misremembering the entire episode but oh well!

I know I said I'd also do summer troupe in this ask but it's already horribly long and I'm writing this on my phone. I'll get to that later. honestly i kinda get where you’re coming from. I really love Spring, but it’s especially now in insight of their development. On first read, i think the thing especially was that the chapter was more about setting up some of the most major issues of the universe (the debts, the way  to arrange themselves in that new environment ect..) that therefore the characters issues may be not as focused as the others chapters?

(also for character flirting with MC there will be only 2 in main stories that do that a lot, one of which is Masumi, and the other isn’t much flirting as just hopelessly in love. Not much we can do about it but honestly once you move on from spring if this really holds you down, it will ease off at least, even if there’s a few thingss here and there stil)

Summer was the moment i really fell in love with the game, i really, really adore Summer’s dynamic and it was just. so good to go through.

As for the things you bring up about Spring, on one hand on first read i think i get you, but yeaaaah in insight of all we learn about the characters, it’s really not that far fetched ahah.

For Sakuya imo it’s really just that he freaked out because of his abandon issues and i don’t really see him discussing it with Spring yet at this point? Like. Sakuya is terrified of not being good enough and being abandoned as a result, like all of his relatives ever did. So he tries to compensate. When Masumi just brought up that they’ll just replace him, i don’t find it far fetched that Sakuya freaked out about it and failed to explain it to Masumi at the time. 

Those very same issues also lead Sakuya to hold on everything bad ever to himself. The reason he opens up to Izumi, more than her just coming to him there, is that she already proved before that she wasn’t willing to abandon him, if only by how she took up the theater because of his passion to start with. And, just, timingwise. 

And i think Sakuya wouldn’t have taken reassurances from his others troupesmates who have already made clear they believed in him, because i think Sakuya would be more crushed with the idea that they’re just being polite and kind with him. Because he knows he’s failing and the others’s way to reassure him would probably have made it worse. He needed reassurance 1) from the director who at this point has already started to be giving more constructive critisms, 2) Masumi, who’s the one who caused those insecurities by the fact he doesn’t hold back. But i don’t see him reach of to Masumi with how hostile Masumi has been to everyone up until that point. (i have more thoughts but that’d be me overreading it too but dKJFDLKF a3 makes my brain go brr)

As for Masumi, this kid has serious communication issues (only child with no friends and no parents around? oof) and i don’t think he would have reached out to Sakuya or even figured something was wrong otherwise.

Are those just easy way out for the writers? maybe, but that’s just how writing is isn’t it? if you want to make even some “artificial” conflict, you need to make it believable why this conflict exist even in the first place. 

Honestly the swordfighting issue doesn’t strike like that to me, and those are all about things that are shown in the Spring chapter itself, but i suppose since i also know those things are expended on, it does add a layer of “this was made with depth for their characters in mind” imo.

Also i think if Masumi hadn’t eardropped, Izumi would have talked to him about it, being the mediator and all of that, and i think Masumi would have understood then. I don’t think Masumi was unwilling to understand, but that he lacked the groundwork to understand it. and we mostly were spared from having to repeat the scene with Izumi telling him about it.

Idk if i see Sakuya managing to tell it to Masumi even after this talk? I think Sakuya is the kind to take all of his pain in silence and assume responsibilities for everything that goes wrong, and i don’t think he would have felt comfortable opening up with that, especially since, as he tells Izumi, he genuinely feels like *he’s* the failure about it (and as Izumi tells him, it’s not his fault if others people don’t try either. Sakuya was made to believe that he had to take full responsibility when a relationship doesn’t work because of his relatives, and i think he was set on doing the same with this Massu’s situation, and the reason he could share it with Izumi is because she’s not the person he’s taking responsibility for). On top of that, Sakuya remains Masumi’s elder, and Sakuya does want to be someone people rely on - he wants to be a big brother figure, and i think he wouldn’t have wanted or known how much of this responsibility he could share with Masumi knowing that. And i don’t think it’s healthy! but it’s perfectly understandable from Sakuya’s perspective and the specific way he shoulders responsibilities because i will fistfight his family his family sucked.

As for Itaru, on this one we only got the reveals about how deep this lack of trust Itaru had for people ran only recently, so imo early on you just need to take it at face value and hope when you get to know more, it’ll click. Realizing he doesn’t want to be alone anymore and wants to be more with Spring is a turning point from this set up about him, so he can only develop from here.

For why no one really told him off about it, i guess i can understand the grip ahah. imo i think everyone worried already enough that he was talking about leaving the company this was the priority to discuss and i do think talking about his ankle at that point may have not worked with the pacing of the emotional moment. I wouldn’t have minded seeing some of them being more worried about it in general though.

In the end the thing with Spring is that aside from Tsuzuru, they are all people who come from background where communication isn’t their forte. Sakuya fears he’s never good enough, Masumi never even had to face how lonely his life had made him until now (and i think he specifically lashes on the director because it’s the first time he feels like he wants a connection with anyone in his life and he doesn’t know what to do with it. I find his obsession creepy imo but i also see where it’s coming from), Itaru has severe trust issues and rather be solo in general, and Citron hides a lot about himself.

and i think, we have Tsuzuru has never been really alone ever, and he takes a lot of responsibility, (though there’s a few things about his background we learn later that shows he still has similar struggles than the rest of his troupe regarding some.. broken connection, which he vagues at in the Spring chapter (... which is something i only noticed on my reread knowing that so i wouldn’t blame you for not catching it))  but he’s also trying to do things for himself for once in his life. Ultimately he knows how to communicate more in general but he has that going on for him, and especially, i think his way to communicate or connect may be too foreign for the rest of the troupe for a smooth connection off the bat.

All of them are trying to connect in their own ways coming from those complicated feelings they have about connection imo... and i do find it fascinating. 

I see Spring a lot like, the kids who had to grow up too fast and the adults who are unhappy with where their adult lives have taken them and the expectations pushed upon them who yet are trying to cope on their own mostly because they have reasons to feel unsafe otherwise. (Tsuzuru is a bit in between imo bc he’s not “unsafe” yet and he’s already taking himself back in hands with the expectations things, but anyway, i am. trying to keep it short, believe it or not) And they’re still navigating where that leaves them as people, and where that leaves them in their connection with others, and especially with each other because in the end they’re all yearning to connect especially with one another, and just don’t know how to reconcile this desire with who they have been all this time to cope through all of this.

All of this is present in the Spring intro chapter but ^^” i could imagine that without having the full picture those aren’t things that may be easily picked up as important for their characterizations. But honestly there’s a throve of details in the writing to flesh them out when you know where to look and i find it fascinating. (but also i like. relived this chapter 5 times, 4 of which after i’ve seen most of their development, and my first read is so long ago i think i just overthink everything DLKJFDLKF and like, Spring was one of my least favorite at first read bc i struggled to connect with them, so it’s not like i don’t get you, it’s just. nowadays, spring is care spring is love and i cry over their intro chap a lot.)

Anyway i guess i get what you felt still, but, idk maybe i feel strongly about it ahah, i like the way the characters stand out from one another even in the moments that are probably just.. stupid, but in a “they wouldn’t know how to do better because of what’s holding them back” way.

i feel like “lack of communication” is a problem every troupe have to various degree and for different reasons, but the whole thing is about trying to figure out how to fix that and work it with them. Some are more forward than others (like, Summer, mostly because Tenma and Yuki are stubborn and loud and straightforward in their own way)(”than others” i have so much to say about this i’m holding back dLKFJD) but i think it depends also a lot on some thematic it wants to tackle and the spirit of the characters in each troupe. It changes as the story progresses but yeah after all, they are all strangers. And while the game mentions they have a few months to prepare for their play, it was reckoned that every play takes one month to prepare, so it doesn’t really give a lot of time on their first play to really figure out everything they need to work on.

Spring, in essence, as a season, is about blooming back after Winter, after sadness and hardship, and learning how to slowly open up again. So imo their intro chap have to reflect that slow progress for them. While Summer can afford to be more loud, straight to the point (and even there it’s not always easy), Summer is full of learning from their mistake, living in the Now, in the Moment. So their season thematic reflects a bit in their intro chap at least. (ofc they all grow from there though but that’s still interesting imo).

I’ll tell you how this happened tho, i was literally just comin back from a l o n g ass road trip listenin to the musical and my tired lil brain started thinkin bout these boys and i was like ...what if i just,, made my o w n versions of em? What if I just,, and then boom, out popped well, this-

| Names: Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde

| Nicknames: Jekyll doesn’t much care for nicknames but Hyde calls him Jek, Hen or Hen-Hen, or Henny which he REALLY hates. For the other, it’s either Ed or just simply Hyde ...Jekyll has given him many ‘nicknames’ mostly they are hateful ones tbh.

| Genders: Henry goes by he/him and Hyde goes by he/him and it/its

| Ages: Unknown but they are both adults

| Heights: Jekyll is 5’7” and Hyde is like 6’6” for sure (even tho they inhabit the same body, fuck it, im makin the rules ..andchangingthemfromtheogthing but i say height changes when Hyde’s in control)

| Species/Races: Henry’s a human ofc and Hyde? Honestly, idk what this thing is, all i can tell you is he’s stinky

| Eye Colors: Jekyll’s eyes are a Baby Blue color and Hyde’s eyes are Blood Red (ooh e d g y man)

| Hair Colors: Jekyll’s hair is honestly a messy curly undercut and the color of it is a dark brown and he has gray on the sides meanwhile Hyde’s hair is Black and in a spiked quiff style and he also has gray on the sides

| Skin Colors/Body Types: Jek’s a BIT pale but Hyde’s a much more- his skin is definitely more so a Whitish Gray kinda color so it’s definitely more noticeable than Jek’s skin if you look close enough at that (things do have to change when a certain one is in control of the body, can’t be EXACTLY the same or else it might give away that their the same person hehe) and their body types don’t really change- Jek’s body type is skinny (nothing TOO bad ofc, just a tad bit) if Hyde had his own body he’d definitely be a more average kinda bulkier build.

| Appearances: Okay first things first- they both have circle beards EXCEPT Hyde’s is a LOT more scruffier (he also has thicker sideburns btw!) and a BIT more grown out than Jek’s which is trimmed a bit more and groomed perfectly.

Jekyll usually has the typical lab coat on and a baby blue turtleneck underneath it, he also has blue pants that he wears with it as well and some oxford shoes that match the outfit, he also wears circle glasses as well (they help him see a lot better p much whereas when Hyde’s in control he doesn't really need em actually) Henry has a GOOD amount of scars all over his body, whether it be by accident, inflicted on purpose, or something more… It’s partially why he keeps his turtleneck on mostly and the lab coat helps as well- he’s ashamed of the scars and he tries to hide them especially so no one will worry about him, also for some more minor details- he wears a black watch on his wrist as well (he has no piercings or nothin like that) that’s p much it for Jek tbh, his features are p much 100% human so uh yeye

Now onto Hyde’s outfit- And yes, keep in mind- he’s still kinda,, an entity or whatever the fuck he is inside Henry’s body essentially but he DOES change his clothes when going out- his main one for going out is usually a black cloak he wears around himself (the outfit underneath is a black suit vest with a long dark red tie (his shirt underneath the suit vest is a dark red long sleeved shirt), he also wears black pants, and dark red oxford shoes, and of course he’s got a black top hat on (the band on it is red, definitely keeping a black n red themed appearance here aint he?) (his other outfits, hm I can leave up to the imagination tbh this is just for when he’s travelling around and so other people don’t spot him nearly as easily, especially when it’s n i g h t t i m e…) he’ll wear whatever the fuck he wants, and it doesn’t have to be fancy in the s l i g h t e s t- he has a variety of options.

He also has pointed ears, razor sharp teeth (got them bear trap teeth but not only that, he’s got a lot more s e c r e t teefs than that ;) he’s a lot more monstrous on the inside than the outside i’ll say that much, Jek’s n Hyde’s anatomy does change and transform depending on who gains control ...honestly it probs hurt to have your body transform and shift like that ouchie) he also has multiple tongues, he has claws that he painted black and red for the a e s t h e t i c s ya know- and hell at this point he might as well have tentacles ...He might- but I mean if you really wanna know, fuck around and find out for yourself and fuck it- he also has a dark red devil style tail since he wanna act like fuckin Satan himself smh

...I made him a lot more monstrous than originally planned but eh its fitting- bc this is Jek’s body even with a LOT of changes in these regards, he’s got the same scars n such as that, he also wears black and red spiral gauges in his ears (I should also say, he can technically hide these features to make himself appear more human, i didnt originally intend on giving him any actual monstrous features except maybe sharp teeth, claws, n the pointed ears but here we are, he still gotta not arouse suspicion around him too much tho) also his eyes have dark circles around them, not because he’s a tired man he’s just a fucking- hellish bastard who loves to look intimidating.

| Personalities: Let’s uhh start off with Jekyll because he’s better and nicer and not nasty and gross n smelly looking- He’s kind, sweet, compassionate, caring, honestly wouldn’t hurt a fly himself- could never willingly hurt someone! A sweet babey man! He’s very intelligent- I mean,, he IS a Doctor after all, he takes pride in his work but it’s not that overbearing narcissistic type pride, he’s just proud of the breakthroughs he’s made ...Granted, there is one “breakthrough” he wished he could take back .. -glancing slowly at Hyde in the reflection of the mirror- ahem- but he’s always been pretty outgoing but a lot has changed since, that abomination came into his life, sure he still tries his best to be a good person, he tries his very damnedest to find some sorta way to separate or better yet a way to destroy this evil vile beast that plagues his and everyone else’s lives! He’d rather destroy Hyde than separate from him because even then, it's still back to square one only with worse damage since he’d be of his own free will now.

He shuts himself away in his Lab a LOT, as much as he can anyways to avoid going out and risking something more happening to anyone else, of course…

There is no avoiding the outside world forever, he needs things to eat and drink, he needs things to keep his body functioning and not to mention not going outside could drive him, well, more insane than he already feels he is- He just tries to be as quick as he can about it before the other takes control or tries to, Jek definitely has a lotta anxieties and fears, and ya know at this point I mean,, hell- the man’s got trauma- Sometimes he wonders if any of this is actually real, if he had just gone insane and was just imagining all this, sometimes his head hurt because of all the thoughts and potential scenarios along with their outcomes plagued his mind, he feels a lot of things he never thought he’d feel towards anyone, he feels anger and hatred toward Hyde but in a way aside from feeling so negatively toward the other, he can’t help but admire the way Hyde wishes to just simply l i v e, and even before this beast became apart of him… He was always anxious deep down and almost scared to take that jump when needed.

But Hyde? Hyde doesn’t seem to even c a r e! That thing lives it’s life without any care whatsoever, he doesn’t have any anxieties or fears at all it seems! In a way, Henry might even be a lil envious toward the other’s carefree attitude and that he’s free of anxieties and fears ...H-He still doesn’t want the other around, he still wishes to destroy Hyde of course, even with the envy and maybe a slight bit of admiration he has his morals and principals, and if Hyde continues to exist or w o r s e gets his own body it could prove v e r y perilous.

Now onto… Eugh, Hyde- The bastard man himself- He’s stinky- an evil bastard who really needs just a good punch in the face (god don't do it yourself tho, he’ll probs eat ur entire arm) Hyde’s absolutely disgusting, will do ANYTHING to get what he desires, he can be narcissistic in some regards, VERY prideful and greedy in many ways, he isn’t above committing murder like really, was he EVER above it? If he wanted, he’d literally murder you not even for a bag of corn chips but literally just one, psh- selling you to satan for one? Bah that’s amateur’s work! He’s somehow a minor inconvenience who can commit REALLY nasty and horrible atrocities at the same time if he feels like it, if he finds out something annoys you or REALLY pisses you off he’s going to keep doing it, he will literally try driving you insane just for the fun of it, really at this point it doesn’t seem like he HAS much of a goal but to just l i v e and cause chaos, destruction, and mayhem wherever he goes, he despises Jekyll in many ways, one being for trying to destroy him first and foremost but also Henny is just s o fucking weak, such a weak man with far too many anxieties, fears, etc- He’d be SO much better of a man if he’d simply let Hyde take control and STAY in control!

It’d make everything a lot easier, then Jek wouldn’t have to worry about ANYTHING ever again! No more of that pathetic nonsense! If it were possible, Hyde would absolutely l o v e to have his own body, separate from Jekyll, that way he could have his own life separate from that pathetic weakling’s! But… Even then, Jekyll and Hyde are one, in many ways they are absolutely apart of one another, two sides of the same coin, even with their MAJOR differences in personality and Hyde almost seeming like an entirely different entity just merely possessing Jekyll, after all, Hyde will admit it himself, he spawned from deep within Jekyll’s mind, he’s tried to get the other to see time and time again that he’s always been apart of the other deep down, Jek’s always had a more mad and evil side to him! Even if the other will deny this and take the denial to his grave, Hyde always persists in trying to get the other to see the truth in front of his eyes!

Aside from that tho, Hyde is just generally a dick and loves to mess with Jek and terrify him sometimes for literally no reason, hell he could be bored one day and decide “Hey Henny, fuck you, you suck” he loves to start drama, he loves to cause problems on purpose- Both of them would give anything to separate from each other, even if Hyde knows the truth deep down bout the both of them, even if he were always originally a part of Jekyll, it didn’t matter, that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t jump at the opportunity to get his own body, away from that pathetic coward of a man!

| Side Facts: Jekyll rarely ever gets to relax or any free time, he’s too worried to give himself that in fear he’ll lose control, he’s almost CONSTANTLY fighting to keep control over the other, even though he knows it's physically impossible to do so, after all, he can’t stay awake forever, sure that doesn’t stop him from trying to stay awake as long as he can before his body practically forces him to pass out and he’s MUCH weaker than he used to be, I mean hell, given how long Jekyll seems to have been around, fighting SO much and almost EVERY single day has practically worn his body down but whenever there is an opportunity for any “free” time he usually spends it trying to figure out an antidote or a way to get rid of Hyde (I will say, before Hyde REALLY started doing bastardous n horrendous things, Jek would still get annoyed with him bc he was always that way but he actually, I’d say tolerated him more so than he does by now) and Hyde even- well, he still disliked Henry IMMENSELY so, but he definitely wasn’t as bad or as awful as he is to the other now, it was more so I tolerate you and we dont have to seriously fight or struggle with each other for control and back then Jek would even sometimes let Hyde have control.

But then… A serious incident (I wont name what exactly) but a serious incident that happened caused the two to absolutely despise each other (i didnt say up there, yes, Hyde absolutely despises Jekyll but there is some heavily hidden admiration in regards to the other’s determination, his persistence, and even somewhat of his creativity, Jekyll despite being an annoying nuisance in Hyde’s way, he does have some admirable things about him) but anyway- ever since that incident occurred, Jek has tried almost EVERYTHING he knew of to get rid of Hyde, even if separation from his body would still be bad bc that could mean Hyde would obtain his own body honestly? I believe Jekyll would still take that opportunity if he were given it, if he needed, he’d try and find someway to stop Hyde’s evil, maybe it’d be easier even if the other had his own body, he didn’t know, he just wishes he could be free from all this torment and agony like gosh damn give this man a b r e a k. Give him some fruit gummies and an appy juice carton and leave him be!

When Hyde is in control he wastes little time in finding things to do, being able to be out, to see the world, the world ripe for chaos and destruction, he wastes little time in getting straight to work with whatever his devious lil mind wants to think of- also for more monstrous purposes, back up there, I was p vague with the mention of teeth on his insides- p much teeth going down his throat and hell who knows, the bastard probably has teeth on the inside of his stomach at this rate- Another not so fun fact, this man can unhinge his jaw! Yaaay so u can see sharp teefs! ...He does have to kinda set his jaw back in place though bc god forbid Jek takes control then.

This probs isnt unpopular by any means, but idk what else to put here so take this:

I dont really see it often discussed that yknow ramuda is an abuse victim. Like, its very clear that chuokhu uses and abuses him, and his life is constantly being hung over his head. I have quite a lot of hcs! Here are a few and like some explanation as to why:

- hes trans - i personally believe this bc personally itd make sense. Ramuda has a very feminine appearance and build, those that are like typically common in asian countries. As well as that, he has his own autonomy unlike the other clones. It wouldnt surprise me if chuokhu orignally wanted to make a girl to keep the other divisions in check, but when he decided personally that he didnt want to be such a way, they said sure, more room for us to treat you as we want to. Hes got money, getting T wouldnt be that difficult for him either, so thats why his voice is. That way fiaudjsnfnd anyway i think it makes sense!! Idk--

- he has bpd - projection probably but the biggest inspiration for this headcanon is how he is emotionally. I come off as very friendly and sociable bc I'm too socially awkward to gracefully turn down a chat lmao. I’m gonna be honest, it takes this man a while to figure out that you tend to hide your feelings. But! Once he does figure it out he regularly asks you how you feel. He just wants to check up on you and if he can help you with something that’s bothering you, he absolutely will. He doesn’t think you should rely on each other, but you should absolutely support each other.

Diluc is a very honest man, but sometimes he can be a bit blunt in expressing himself. He doesn’t mean to come across as rude or anything, but he’s not always the most delicate when using his words. Diluc would say “This is bland.” rather than, “I think we can improve this by adding some spices. :)” He usually means well, though.

Entirely indifferent to animals but if it makes you happy he will move spiders outside instead of squashing them. Even when you’re not around.

Diluc isn’t exactly the jealous type when it comes to other people giving you attention but he does absolutely take notice and is paying extra close attention if someone starts flirting with you. He gets a little more annoyed if you’re actively interacting with him when it happens, but when you’re more on your own he can’t really blame anyone for taking interest in you. Diluc won’t do anything about it and will let you handle it yourself however you see fit unless the person starts getting pushy. Mostly just concerned for your comfort and safety.

This man absolutely knows how to play the piano. If you’ll let him, he wants to listen to you play and if you play the piano with him? Makes his heart so happy, his smile will be so soft. Absolutely thinks about proposing when you play together.

Something about being in the same room as you when you’re writing or drawing and he’s reading or doing work feels so right to him. Even if you’re not interacting, peacefully spending time together while being productive is time well spent, he thinks.

You being smaller than him isn’t something he really pays much attention to. It doesn’t make much of a difference. His thoughts on it are pretty much just, Well, it does make it easier to pull you out of danger. That’s good.

Diluc feels conflicted when you’re babying animals. On one hand, he finds it very adorable. But, it is one of the only times he feels moderately jealous over the fact a cat is getting your attention and not him. He doesn’t get jealous when you spend time with other people or even when you interact with animals in any way other than this. Why does he feel like this? Nobody knows. But it’s true, I feel it in my bones.

Equally awkward if not more so with children. Luckily for him, he’s ‘weird and grumpy’ so kids don’t really seek him out much. It might even keep kids away from you when you’re with him, unless they really like you.

It wasn’t often Diluc wore a pink shirt, actually, you were pretty sure he had never worn one. You don’t recall ever seeing one on him and it was hard to imagine him going out and making the purchase. The sight was unusual enough that when you saw him wearing the pale pink button-up while looking over a few papers in his study, you couldn’t help but ask about it.

“I didn’t know you owned any pink shirts. Is it new?”

Crimson eyes flicked up from the papers in his hand to you. He placed the papers down, leaning back in his chair. You could see his cheeks turning a bit pink, too. The pause he took and his flushed face made you think he was embarrassed about it.

“One of… There was a mixup and one of your red items got mixed in with my white clothes. I don’t have any other clean button-ups at the moment,” he told you bashfully. Like tbh I knew just a touch more about real world Karlie - maybe not even like probs about the same amount but I could easily recognize her - than I did about Joe when I made the blog but I'd been following Kaydom for years.

And I had this mental image of Karlie based on out of context snippets and like headcanons and made up shit. I heard she was a Gold Star lesbian (which I didn't believe really coz she was married to a man but like I figured maybe she heavily leans that way like Cara D), with dyke energy ("boyfriend Karlie"), and that she had a reputation for being a casanova type when she was young, and that she’s unbelievably sexual and sultry and like... raw unharnessed sexual energy.

NONE of that is true.

So I think like that actively annoys me.

Because I watch content of this woman who - sure - could be anywhere from Kinsey 1 to Kinsey 5 (and I have no issue speculating). And what I CANNOT imagine like even for a second is any of the shit Kays spout/spouted about her except maybe sunshine angel.

And I think I knee jerk to that. Because I’m like “are you blind do you have eyeballs how is this fucking boring ass bland vanilla cheerleader who can’t string two sentences together called Klossanova?” Which is wrong and mean of me. I know her awkwardness and STEM brain is relatable to many nerdy girls. I believe she has a strong net positive on the world. I know girls who are shy or awkward about sexuality love her content and it resonates because she’s so unlike anyone else in that industry. But then let’s talk to that?

Not “boyfriend Karlie” or to quote Voldemort “Taylor shouldn’t let her out of her sight” - anyone can let her out of her sight she is a golden retriever she will always come back for love and attention from her partner tbh (so Josh).

At the end of the day a lot of this discussion will always be rooted in stereotypes - we’re speculating about people’s personal lives and have no idea what is in their heads - but like... sure Karlie may be queer. She has never said or implied it tho tbh. She has regularly talked about Josh and boys in general. She has very much claimed a lane of allyship. And she has done so unambiguously not like Tay’s “our pride” and whatnot. She VERY MUCH presents straight - unlike say someone like Dua who probably is but who actively presents fluid or questioning - and has done fucked up shit like the video with Ashley Graham which isn’t phenomenal allyship but okay.

If someone actively presents straight by being hyper femme even in really sporty videos, talks about her boyfriend and boys in general all the time, and makes something like Makeout Fakeout I think it’s fair to seriously question the validity of that person’s gay rumors.

Because some people are straight.

Are some hyper femme people queer?

Obviously.

Is it offensive to - based on stereotypes - not assume that about them? To like... not pick them up on Gaydar because of how fucking incredibly straight they seem? Yeah I think so.

If they come out, that’s incredible and we need to ensure they’re not erased.

But like misreading them as straight isn’t a crime.

For me the Karlie stuff isn’t just that she’s girly. She just... has a straight energy much like Emma Watson and Blake Lively do. I can see Kaylor happening when I see them together but sometimes I think it’s because Taylor would flirt with a fucking tree tbh and it’d ping sexual.

I also think it’s possible Karlie is queer and on the ace spectrum and that’s what I’m picking up.

But like.

Idk.

The point is Kays have lied about her and yes I overreact to that sometimes and I’m sorry.

I’ll try be better about this.

But I also think calling someone who - by all accounts - identifies as straight and is married to a man and has never ever ever ever and will never confirm her only set of queer rumors straight isn’t erasing femme queers.

It’s literally just saying this woman is probably straight (or at best mostly straight).

My interpretations on the new Rammstein album

Alrighty, I think such ‘here’s my opinion how much I liked this and not’ are boring so I’m just gonna write what I think of and read out of the songs. I let out Deutschland and Radio cuz y’all know about them, I guess. Idk even if anybody is interested in this but here we go

Weit weg (far away) - one of my faves

On the first sight it seems to be kind of a love song because till sings about two people - a man watching a women undress and seeing her naked. Actually, it’s about Voyeurism. He is standing at her window, presses his face against the glass, there’s no interactions between them and she is the 'queen of his fantasies’. 'Ganz nah - weit, weit weg von mir’ (really close - far, far away from me) - he is incredible close to her and sees intimate moments, but he isn’t supposed to, they probably don’t even know each other. So, actually, emotionally they are far away from each other.

Diamant (diamond) - only sad song, big fave

Kind of a love song, Till is mostly singing about how beautiful the other person is, how bright her eyes shine, “how clear and pure” she is. It already sounds like as if he were in mad love with her, but he also wants her to finally 'let him go’, he wants to leave tho she is so marvelous 'like a diamond, but also just a stone’. He tried to reach her heart but wants to 'love someone who is able to hate’ - is she too perfect? Are they even together, or is it just him who struggles to let his love for her go? Maybe she doesn’t feel anything, doesn’t have anything except her beauty and is cold-hearted, diamonds “are just stones”.

Zeig dich (show yourself) - a fave, its really nice

Obviously a song about the church, unlike Hallelujah (which is about the child abuse of priests) this one is about the church in general. Most of the text are enumerations,“[they] do crime … forgiveness of all crimes, burn, … tracking, … accidentally abuse children” (Irony, damn that’s fore sure provocating) always ending with 'in the name of god’ which describes the long history, mostly the negative aspects and how the church allowed themself to do anything if they say they do it in gods will - a lot of people believed that. The dramatic choir underlines how much power the church had and how often it abused its power. 'Show yourself … we lose the light’ - religion gives humans hope and something to believe in, exploited by the church, but all these things are hidden behind a mask.

Puppe (doll (sometimes also puppet, toy)) - probs most interesting one

The protagonist is a child, who got a doll as a gif from his sister (he calls her 'Schwesterlein’ so he is probably way younger?). Her workplace is in the room next to his, he sees men coming there, 'sometimes it’s even two [men]’ - she is a prostitute. While she works, he is looking at the sky, taking his medicaments [like a good boy] - so he must be sick in some way. Since he 'rips off the head of the doll, bites off the neck of the doll’ and sings 'I really don’t feel good’ it’s probably something mental. Later, he watches through the keyhole how his sister gets beaten to death, he continues ripping of the head and biting off the neck but now 'he feels finally good’. No parents are mentioned, so the sister seems to be the only relative, probably being responsible for him and buying him the medicaments (one of the only details we get so they have to me important in some way). Maybe he didn’t like her and he imagined the doll is her? Being unhappy because she is still alive and after she got killed, finally being happy? Maybe, he is happy that he won’t need to take medicaments anymore, he looked the whole day outta the window and seemed to do nothing, bc the meds blocked him)

Was ich liebe (literally 'what I love’, in this context, “the things I love”) great song

Fans who heard through some demos should know this one because it’s the demo of Pussy. They used the very different lyrics and refreshed them (changed the 'will die’ to 'will verderben’) , making them into a song about a person which doesn’t want to be happy, doesn’t want to enjoy and doesn’t want to love. A lover of him will 'verderben’ - it’s a prediction, he doesn’t even think it just 'could’ happen, it will happen. He will be unlucky at some point and suffer, 'in luck is also ubglück’, he fears to be hurt so much that his lover 'must’ verderben. Though, he still talks about a lover, so next to this fear, he still does and wants to be happy, enjoy and to love.

Tattoo (tattoo) - I like the music and singing but the topic is boring to me

Pretty simply, it’s about tattoos. He compares paper with his skin and describes noticeably often the pain “when the pain hugs the flesh…” you feel while getting one and how much he likes them on his skin. ‘Show me yours [and[ I’ll show you mine’ it sounds more like a demand as if it were something intimate. Also, after gettin the name of the lover tattooed - in case that the partner would end the relationship - he would prefer to find another partner with the same name instead of erasing the tattoo. He’s just crazy for tattoos.

Hallomann (is norwegian and a word for moderator or similiar) - pretty good?

It sounds kinda as if he would like to spend his time with a little girl. He’s telling a her to “just get in” and to “dance for him” but he doesn’t want her to speak. They go together to the sea, he buys stuff for her. ‘You are alone’ - the girl is alone, maybe she was walking around alone? - and he is ‘all alone’, this sounds more like on an emotional base, being lonely. Not sure of in a romantic or a platonic way. After the dancing  would come the Hallomann to her - I really don’t see the connection. Later they sunbath, do something with skin and sand. She has to ‘give her word’, take his hand and afterwards it won’t be the same. ‘Perl on the ring’ - a wedding ring? I’m not even sure if the person himself is an adult or maybe just a boy. In the end he says ‘don’t ask for the meaning’, maybe he just wanted to spent a nice day with her. It got some pedophile vibes at the first sight but nothing really indicates it. Maybe I just don’t see the methaphors lol okay everybody says it's about a pedophile and I guess;; he used phrases pedophiles often use

Ausländer (foreigner) - sounds like Schlager Urgh [german trigger] but good

Simply just a Gigolo jumping from one bed to another and fucking his way through the whole world. He doesn’t even “stay over night, just for 1 or 2 hours.” Anyways, it’s practical to speak many languages so he can talk with the foreign women. In that way he tells us that he’s good in these and speaks a lot, but the last sentence means something like ‘you coming with [me], I’m you doing goodd’ which is pretty bad in grammar but it’s enough to let her know what he wants.

Sex (sex) - love the melody and riffs, really good one

Uhm also pretty much just about sex? Sex without feelings tho. He ‘gets sick when he looks at you’ - it’s really just about the act - ‘mine is yours and that in you’. This is underlined by ‘better slovenly than again not’, he probably put the ‘again’ before the ‘not’ to let it stand out, again, so they already did it at least a couple of times, or better said, didn’t do it. Maybe they are in a relationship? But he can’t look at her anymore, he just wants her body for sex - and only the important parts. The contrast to that is the refrain, ‘We live only once, we love the life, we love the love, we love sex.’ The last sentence is ‘We live because … sex.’ So, he sings often they love the life and in the end it’s they only live for sex =  they love just the sex.

thankfully i’ve never really hurt myself too terribly except for a broken wrist, but between the ages of 10-17 i’d occasionally hurt my back by sitting weird, usually in an attempt to play video games without the glasses i desperately needed lol. once when i was like 11 i laid belly down on the couch with my elbows up on the arm of it for like three hours, which messed me up for days, then a few other times i hurt myself, but another bad one when i was 17, i had my back curved while sitting and propping my laptop up on my knee, tried to move and literally just cried, crawled on the floor, and laid there all night until i forced myself to move in the morning. lol luckily it hasn’t happened since i lost a little weight.

i’m a never writer, apparently v___v but lol ideally a night writer, my best work is between the hours of 12am & 4am, but my sleeping schedule is so inconsistent, and so is my dad’s who spends literally every waking moment of his telling me different stuff he wants done, so it’s tough to hit that sweet spot. i write whenever i get a chance tho.

lol nah i’ve never even had a drink. like what teenager doesn’t have a drink at some point?? i told you i’m lame.

english, barely. and assassin’s creed 2 taught me some italian swears. and ac: odyssey has had me occasionally dropping “malaka” bombs since the day i first played it haha.

officially, about 9 years. i started at 11 on myspace, rping dragon ball z stuff. but basically about 12 years, if you count how from the ages of 8-11 i’d put an anime pic up on my myspace, pretend i was older, and talk to roleplayers i didn’t realize were roleplayers lmfao.

26. favorite roleplay genre ??

i like pretty much anything, tbh. as long as it’s well thought out, has an interesting plot, or whatever. sometimes it doesn’t even need that, it just needs to catch my eye or line up with something i’m looking for. but yeah, supernatural, multi-fandom, sci-fi, romance, town rps, high school/college rps, anime rp (well, pokemon mostly), harry potter… i’ve done it all tbh and don’t particularly have a favorite.

the sound of cotton stretching is the absolute worst thing to me. or scratching cotton. idk, it just sends chills up and down my spine and makes my hands feel weak lmfao. i’m weird. i really love the sound of rain, or fire crackling, or like “ambient” harp or ukulele music.

short answer, yes. long answer… i’m pretty sure i was friends with a ghost girl as a kid?? like no joke, even looking back at it through rational “adult” eyes, i’m still convinced. my fam moved into a new apartment, and pretty much right after that i started having dreams about a girl my age at the time (11-12). i’d never seen her before but the dreams would be like just conversations, like i was visiting a friend or something. i don’t remember them much, but i do remember the feeling of someone else in my room all the time, like you know how if someone else is around you just know even if you’re not looking at them? like that. there was even one night i was getting in bed, laid there a minute, and then i could have absolutely sworn somebody came in the room and sat down next to me on the bed because i felt the bed sink a little under their weight, but i looked and no one was there. i had a really vivid conversation/dream/thing that night. then a few nights later, for the first time since moving there i didn’t have one. the next morning my dad was really freaked out and said he fell asleep in the chair, but woke up and couldn’t breathe, and felt cold little hands over his mouth. he rationalized it as just waking up from a nightmare but i didn’t think so, so that night when i went to sleep and saw her i got really upset, yelled at her for it, and woke up right after. then i never saw or heard anything even remotely similar again, like she left or disappeared or something. it’s so weird, and i know how crazy it sounds, but yeah. don’t get me started on the topic of ghosts lmfao. THEN AGAIN, like a year later we had a carbon monoxide scare, but i really doubt the two were related because that would mean there was an entire year that we were breathing it in and the monitor didn’t do anything lol

29. do you believe in aliens ??

no alien story, thankfully, but it just makes no sense not to believe in them to me. like, we probably don’t have them on earth, and we’ve probably never encountered any, but it’s as close as you can get to a mathematical certainty that there’s some other life out there in the universe.

like, people who are just meant for each other, like romantic soulmates? nah not really. but i believe that two people can grow to truly love one another. whether it’s based off an initial attraction/infatuation, or a friendship, or both. i’d actually argue that’s a simple explanation of the biological science behind the feeling of love, but that’s an essay i’m not gonna write lol. but there’s apparently a lot of different types of love, so i guess “true love” is suggestive? 

also slightly unrelated but i don’t-quite-believe-in-but-am-open-to-the-idea-of soulmates, not necessarily as two souls who are just meant for each other romantically and always end up together, but more as two or more souls that gravitate toward each other to make up the important people in each other’s lives, like family members, lovers, or close friends. but that’s more of a theoretical idea/possibility than an actual belief of mine.

ELVIE CROFT, twenty four years old. youtuber and ghost with the most on beloved emmy award winning netflix series ghost gallery. interests include horror movies, the 80s, halloween, and the absolute abomination that is black licorice. the smartest dipshit you’ll ever meet.

elvin tupelo croft. prefers elvie, but el is okay if you’re a close friend or family member. is extremely sensitive about the fact that he was almost named elvis after the famous musician because his dad is OBSESSED.

born in the salem, massachusetts on halloween day. descendant of an accused witch, son of an actual witch, and practices himself albeit casually. his dad is the county district attorney while his mom owns a small shop in town, so they were...lower middle class i guess. they always had enough to meet their needs, but couldn’t afford any extra spending or splurging. as he got older he’d go on to work small jobs around town, most notably as a janitor in the local movie theater. so no silver spoon or high horse here.

margo massey has been his best friend since birth. her maternal grandparents disowned her mom when she fell pregnant with margo, so elvie’s dad gave them some legal help and the rest is history. they’ve been best friends for longer than either of them can even remember, true ride or dies for life. if you don’t like margo then elvie doesn’t like you and that’s that on that. the antics of elvie croft and margo massey were famous in salem long before they were famous on netflix.

so he tried lots of different activities as a kid. he was a boy scout, he took music lessons, he was absolutely awful at tee ball, but nothing really stuck. he’s always had a lot of energy and a short attention span, so he gets bored of stuff pretty easily. 

something his parents and teachers would often notice about him was that he’s very smart. he’s a fast learner, one of those annoying types who seems to just do well in school and get perfect grades without even trying? that’s him. some people have even thrown around words like brilliant and genius. tbh they probably aren’t far off, but elvie hates being called smart to the point where he?? intentionally dumbs himself down 24/7 and passes it off as a joke

ofc that didn’t stop from being mercilessly bullied all throughout school. he had braces and glasses and chronic nosebleeds and didn’t play any sports and only had one friend who was picked on just as badly so he was definitely a favorite target of his peers.

fortunately elvie has much thicker skin than most people seem to realize. he doesn’t...really care what people think about him. at all. oh so what you don’t like him. he’ll have a good long cry about it while his emmy award is getting polished. not that he’s arrogant bc he honestly isn’t. it’s just that he knows his worth and your opinion of him isn’t going to change that.

he was fifteen when the rich & snobby abernathy family bought a huge summer home in salem and he met their daughter, astrea...it was love at first sight and to this day he’s never loved anybody else or even dated anybody else. their summer romance turned long distance when she went home in the fall. they were insistent upon not letting anything break them apart and aside from about a year where they weren’t together, nothing ever did. elvie croft has been dating the same girl since he was fifteen and just keeps falling more and more in love with her.

it should be noted that astrea’s parents absolutely hate him and they always have. he didn’t do anything except come from a poor no name family, which was more than enough for them, so elvie was resorting to climbing through her window and helping her sneak out in the middle of the night so they could see each other for even five minutes. it’s a regular romeo juliet story. how disgustingly lovesick and On Brand™ for them.

a year later he started his youtube channel at the age of sixteen with margo & the camera that he got for his birthday. it’s basically buzzfeed unsolved supernatural. he’s the believer, she’s the skeptic, and they go looking for ghosts! it was an instant hit. with every video posted they were gaining subscribers in the dozens, then the hundreds, then the thousands. they weren’t even in college yet and they were already two of the most popular & beloved names in youtuber fandom.

attended nyu once they did get to college. tbh elvie didn’t really wanna go?? he doesn’t like school, so he technically studied business and was top of his class as per usual, but he was mostly just there to party and hang out with margo and finally get to be with astrea all the time. he loves her so much like i can’t stress this enough.

too bad for him bc he got DUMPED in their last year of college. astrea broke up with him and then immediately went to saudi arabia for a year. he didn’t take it well at all, but fortunately he’d be distracted soon enough.

elvie and margo were approached by netflix producers who basically wanted to turn their youtube channel into a tv show which turned out to be a really smart move because ghost gallery is a HUGE HIT. everyone’s seen it. everyone loves it. no one can seem to shut up about it. basically think of the hype around stranger things and you’ll understand how much everyone loves ghost gallery.

they’ve put out two seasons so far & are just about to start filming for season three which is scheduled for a late october 2019 release and elvie absolutely loves his show so he couldn’t be happier about it!

and now for a few other fast facts bc i SOMEHOW feel like i haven’t covered everything yet!

loves horror movies, halloween, and scaring people. by the age of twelve he was getting full grown adults to scream and run away from him in terror while he just laughed and laughed bc it was the best thing ever to him.

it’s been a running joke all his life that he doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything and who knows? maybe he isn’t.

his other major interest? everything 80s. tbh at least 90% of everything he’s ever said is an 80s movie reference, often too obscure for most people to even catch. 

he’s extremely rich bc he spends almost none of the money he earns from youtube and netflix. he grew up poor enough to have the mentality that he can’t just go around wasting money on whatever he wants even though he very well could without even making a serious dent in his bank account. at worst he might impulse buy some extra candy or smth but nothing more expensive than that

they type of eccentric genius who will solve a whole rubik’s cube in .0000000001 seconds like it’s nothing and act like it isn’t even a big deal bc he’s already distracted by something else entirely. it probs gives people a little whiplash tbh

PERSONALITY: elvie is nice, but he’s not for everyone. eccentric is probably the best word to describe him. he doesn’t do things the way everyone else does. he’s extremely hyperactive and very ~out there~ which is a combination that’s just Too Much for some people. he tends to come across as either witty and endearingly charming or loud and flat out annoying. so he’s kinda terrible at making friends but it doesn’t stop him from trying. in general he’s well liked if only bc almost everyone loves ghost gallery, but ofc there are outliers so pls feel free to hate him. tl;dr he’s completely harmless but maybe a little annoying, will just ramble at you for hours about ghosts and horror movies and the 80s and assume that you’re friends because of it.

He sighed, going on “Don’t bother” mode and starting up Minecraft. As usual, his closest friend, Fire Spirit, was already on. He was building dicks on the server, which was luckily only made for adult players and advertised on CornCob: the porn video website. 

“hey,” he began to type. “whos been building dicks?”

“DJSLJKFLSJKFLJSKLJKLSFJKLDSKLAaOIWRUIODSxmFKF” Fire Spirit keysmashed, probably slightly burning his computer while doing so.

“why are your keysmashes so long”

“*building” Fire Spirit corrected himself. His username on Minecraft was HottestManAlive and Lemon’s was SourMan (what even is a man? That’s a mystery).

“anyways, lime bullied me and--” a ding came from Lemon’s computer. He got pinged on Cacophony.

“Ugh.” He sighed, going back to playing Minecraft.

Fire Spirit was busy, shown by the fact that Lemon was completely surrounded in dirt. He tried to dig himself out, but it felt like every time he dug, there was another block in the way. Soon, he was in a strip-mine in Fire Spirit’s extremely large dirt block.

He finally got out. Even though everyone was on creative, it took so long to punch all those blocks.

“hey lem whats up”

“fire spirit whatd you do” 

“build”

“OK.” Lemon flew away from Fire Spirit, who followed him.

“wait lem i wanna ask you something”

“what”

“wanna go on a date” Lemon’s heart pounded.

“haha thats funny hahahahahahahahahahahaha”

“im being serious lem lets go on a date in REAL LIFE” 

Lemon was sweating. His hands were uncomfortably moist, as were his armpits. He was almost certain his shirt had sweat stains, but when he checked, they didn’t.

“i dunno i could visit ur house bc i live in a cave irl”

“wait what i thought u lived in a house” The yellow-haired sour man stared at his screen, taking in every word and ignoring the fact Fire Spirit was building around him again.

“well i mean we could probs meet up at sparklings bar and go on from there

just hang out n stuff”

“that’s cool,” Lemon replied. 

Almost right after replying, Lemon’s door slammed open.

“I THOUGHT YOU DIED!” Orange ran in and hugged him. She looked at his screen. 

“Uh-- Hi, Orange.”

“You got a date? That’s so cool!” She let go of him. “I already asked the time for you!”

“Oh- okay.” 

“I’ll see you on Cacophony later!” She left. 

What the fuck just happened? Lemon sighed, going back to Minecraft to see what was up.

“whyd you type like that you never capitalize anyways it could b any time even right now” 

“im ok with it being rn and orange asked that” Lemon’s fingers were extremely quick, like lightning, one could say.

“ok i’m omw to sparkling’s bar”

“-HottestManAlive has left the game.”

“-SourMan has left the game.”

Lemon put his jacket on, grabbed his cube, and put his phone and his wallet into one of his pockets. Since he had male pants on, the pockets were deep enough to hold a phone AND a wallet. Take that, female clothing!

Fire Spirit stood outside Sparkling’s bar, waiting for Lemon to come. Does he live farther away? Is he walking? Can he fly? Were a few questions he asked himself. Instead of wearing his usual clothing, Fire Spirit put on something more casual-- a red tank top and some shorts. He wasn’t wearing any shoes, not that he’d need them, as he was always hovering a little bit above the ground and wouldn’t be hurt by it anyways. Plus, he doesn’t have any shoes. Or socks.

“Fire Spirit!” His attention was caught by a shorter, yellow-haired cookie. “Welcome, are you coming in?” It was Sparkling cookie.

“No, I’m waiting for Lemon Cookie.” He sighed. 

“Oh! He’s in here. He was waiting for you.”

“That’s lit!” Fire Spirit walked in as Sparkling was dying inside.

“Oh, hi, Fire Spirit.” Lemon’s voice was much quieter than Fire Spirit expected-- and not as deep. It was okay though, as he loved it. Adored it.

“Uh- hi-” Fire Spirit was taking in the view in front of him. He knew Lemon’s Minecraft skin was made by him, but not of him. His heart pounded at the rounder, more handsome version of Lemon.

“That’s weird,” Vampire started, causing both Lemon and Fire Spirit to jump a little, “you never say ‘uh,’ what’s up, Fire?” 

Fire Spirit took Vampire to the side. Lemon stared.

I could check Cacophony, I guess. He turned his phone on and began to read through messages. It was being painfully obvious that Orange thought he died because of the lack of reply. Oh. She told everyone about this. His face was heating up-- who knows what Lime will make fun of him for? 

Fire Spirit sat down next to Lemon in a booth, away from Vampire. 

“Anyways, how are you? I’m doing great.” The flame-haired cookie smiled at Lemon. Vampire Cookie gave Lemon two thumbs up.

“Me too, especially now.”

They chatted-- mostly about Minecraft, but sometimes going on topics of music (Fire Spirit had a surprisingly limited amount of music he listened to, as he only listened to VHS recordings on a boombox) and what was happening outside of Minecraft, like when Orange barged into his room.

“Excuse me, you two, it’s almost time to close,” Sparkling helped Fire Spirit up.

“Pshh, the bar never closes! It shouldn,” Fire Spirit commented.

“Are you helping Fire Spirit back home?” The green-eyed cookie asked Lemon.

“I could take him to my house, I guess.”

“Just be careful, if he gets too angry, his hair can actually burn stuff. Otherwise, you should be fine. It’s surprisingly painless to put your hands in his hair, and it tickles him.”

“How do you know all that?”

“He comes around often, one time daring me and Vampire to put our hands in our hair. Vampire went first.”

“Oh.” Lemon imagined petting Fire Spirit’s hair, his heart beginning to flutter quite a lot more than it already was. “Come on, Fire Spirit, let’s go.”

He made the somewhat long walk to his house. It didn’t feel that long due to Fire Spirit’s slurred compliments and flirts. Lemon sat Fire Spirit down on his couch and sat next to him.

“Wha’s gonna happen now, Lem~,” Fire Spirit joked. 

“I dunno, maybe we can watch a movie.” Lemon yawned.

“Nah, we can, we can sleep!” He suggested. “Or maybe jus’ you. I can go home myself, and then, tomorrow we can do this again.”

“We can both sleep. I’ll be in my room--”

“You’re gonna make me sleep on the couch?? I wanna cuddle you, Lem!” He quickly leaned towards and hugged Lemon. 

Lemon flinched at the contact, but calmed down. He turned on the TV and began to pet Fire Spirit’s hair, making the flame-haired cookie begin to laugh.

“Oh no! My one weakness!” The legendary managed to say within his laughter.

“Oh-- I’ll stop.” Lemon never liked being tickled and could only imagine whatever pain Fire Spirit was going through.

“You don’t haaaaaaaaaaaaaave too! I love it!”

“You need to sleep.”

“Fine, fine.” Fire Spirit sighed.

Lemon channel surfed until he found something that played a marathon of How It’s Created. The two watched it until, eventually, they fell asleep. Fire Spirit was asleep first, as he kept talking to Lemon during the show and waking him up, then apologizing and forgetting a few minutes later.
