"just a sketch" she said, like a liar- at least I didn't do a full painting lol
Alrighty now time to justify my instrument choices:
Akiren for piano: Piano is a versatile instrument! And, y'know, wildcard stuff. Pretty self-explanatory
Akechi for violin: Violin, while not as versatile as piano, can still do a lot- and has a very extensive classical repitoire; so, still wildcard applicable. Also insert joke here about first violins and Akechi probably fits
Sumire for cello: gonna be honest, I gave Sumi the leftover instrument. But! I think cello is quite a graceful instrument, so it still fits! Also it's funny to me when short people play big instruments (hc that Sumi also plays double bass for extra laughs)

Hi, I'm beginner digital artist from Russia, and your follower, I'm in fandom spn too. Could you please tell me about your instruments, which app use? Do u user of iOS, Android or Windows? You work with a graphic tablet or a stylus on your phone? Could you wait for a couple of tips for me, I admire your work and want to start doing something similar. I've never had a tumbler, I installed it to contact you😅
I love u and your work 💖
Hello Nneryl! Welcome! I'm glad I could persuade you to join tumblr! I'd be happy to answer your questions.
I use a 24 inch Wacom Cintiq Pro drawing tablet along with Adobe Photoshop to draw most of my digital art. This is on my Windows OS PC. I do sometimes use Procreate with my 13 inch (????? I think) ipad--though not very often. I do recommend it though for anyone who hasn't tried Procreate.
If you're interested in a bit of my insight about art from over the years, along with some tips, I recommend checking out my #art asks tag, which I'll link for you here!
Hopefully that helps a little, and happy arting, my friend!

5e Gondar, the Bounty Hunter build (DOTA 2)
Tumblr media
(Artwork made for Valve Software.)
Tumblr media
And here you were thinking that I wouldn’t actually make a DOTA 2 build; that’s where you’re WRONG! While this is sort of meant as my April Fools joke build I did actually play DOTA before migrating to League. I still love all the characters and I do genuinely think the gameplay has some strengths over LoL. The community...? Well, it exists.
Regardless back when I played DOTA I mained Bounty Hunter, which is rather ironic given I fucking hate League’s counterpart Bounty Hunter of Pyke. Gondar (yes his name is Gondar) was an extremely fun stealth assassin with a very unique passive to keep tabs on enemies at all times and inflate his teammates’ wallets. And apparently they magnified that even further by allowing Bounty to steal other heroes’ gold now with Jinada? Sweet Zeus Valve calm down with the feature creep...
Regardless: happy 5 days after April Fools! Hoes mad that I’m acknowledging DOTA’s existence.
GOALS
You can't fight what you can't see - DOTA is a lot more willing to give people invisibility. Helps when you can buy a gem that lets you see all invisible enemies.
The realm's justice - Jinada, que pasa? We need to be able to do big damage to critical points that weaken our enemies in a fight.
You can run but you can't hide - Your ultimate ability will be to track people down like some sort of... person who tracks people down for money.
RACE
Back in the Warcraft days Gondar was a Goblin, so a Goblin he shall be! As a Goblin you get a +2 to Dexterity and a +1 to Constitution, and Nimble Escape to get half of what a Rogue can do with your Bonus Action to Disengage or Hide (but not Dash.) And you get a nice bonus to take down big bounties (big in the literal sense) with Fury of the Small, allowing you to do extra damage equal to your level to a creature that’s bigger than you once per Short or Long Rest!
ABILITY SCORES
15; DEXTERITY - Is your refrigerator running? Well you’d better go catch it, because there’s a bounty on its head!
14; WISDOM - Wisdom is tied to tracking, and spoiler alert? We’re going to be doing a lot of tracking.
13; CONSTITUTION - We kinda don’t need anything else so may as well use that +1 from our race to get a nice boost to our HP.
12; INTELLIGENCE - Practical intelligence never hurt when tracking down gods and demons.
10; CHARISMA - You need to be able to talk to the people giving the bounties.
8; STRENGTH - You’re a small man with small knives.
BACKGROUND
Man, if only there was a background for a Bounty Hunter! We’ll be going for Urban Bounty Hunter from the Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide because just because the name says “urban” doesn’t mean you can’t prowl around the Radiant jungle too. You can choose your proficiencies among a small list: I opted for Insight and Stealth. You also get proficiency with two musical instruments or gaming sets: I’d maybe ask about languages instead? But honestly pick your poison.
Your feature Ear to the Ground gives you plenty of information about whatever bounty you may be tracking, as you’ve got contacts in all places to slip you information about where a giant fishman may be. “The Tidehunter becomes the hunted.”

(Artwork made for Valve Software.)
THE BUILD
LEVEL 1 - FIGHTER 1
You level Shuriken first on Bounty, you go for CON saves first in D&D. Along with those CON saves you also get proficiency in two skills from the Fighter list: Acrobatics will help you survive and Survival will also help you survive! But it’s mainly useful for tracking.
As a Fighter you can choose a Fighting Style at level 1: for a quick Shuriken Toss Superior Technique will let you grab the Quick Toss maneuver as well as a d6 Superiority die to use on said maneuver. It doesn’t take a lot to push Q and click on someone. Remember that your superiority die come back after a Short Rest, as well as a long one.
Finally as a Fighter you can hold onto a Bottle to use for a bit of Second Wind, healing for a d10 plus your Fighter Level as a Bonus Action. “A prudent hunter knows when to strike.” This ability also resets after a Short or Long Rest.
LEVEL 2 - FIGHTER 2
Second level Fighters can up their APM with Action Surge, allowing them to take two actions in a turn. The Wiki says the trick of attacking people during Shadow Walk’s Fade Time is still a thing, so yeah pro tips from a League player!
LEVEL 3 - FIGHTER 3
Third level Fighters get to choose their Martial Archetype and truth be told I just want to be able to throw more shuriken, so Battle Master it is for four more Combat Superiority dice! You can also learn three more Maneuvers other than Quick Toss: Disarming Attack will let you knock an enemy’s weapon away with Heaven’s Halberd, and both Commander’s Strike and Distracting Strike are good to team up with your allies to play support. “My allies have earned their keep.”
But of course the most important feature is Student of War; no shmuck politician is going to hire you unless you have Calligrapher’s Supplies proficiency to fool a god to sign off his power to you!
LEVEL 4 - FIGHTER 4
How about we slow them down a bit? The Slasher feat will increase your Dexterity by 1 but also allow you to slow enemies hit by 10 feet. Additionally if you crit you cripple them, giving them disadvantage on their attacks! This only works with Slashing damage, so technically you can only slow in melee range with a Scimitar. But if your DM is cool I’d totally allow Darts that do Slashing damage to slow at range!
Tumblr media
(”Twin Blades Assassin” set made by motenai and T_Vidotto. Made for YYF.)
LEVEL 5 - RANGER 1
First level Rangers get proficiency in one skill from the Ranger list: increase your map awareness and buy some wards for Perception. Additionally you get Deft Explorer from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, which grants you the Canny ability for two language proficiencies and Expertise in one skill of your choice. Your languages don’t matter too much but guess what? Survival is still used for tracking down bounties!
Speaking of those bounties you can mark them with not quite track thanks to Favored Foe. When you hit a foe you can choose to mark them and make them take an additional d4 once per turn for up to a minute! You need to concentrate on this effect though so you can’t just fire-and-forget like in DOTA, and can only use it a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
LEVEL 6 - RANGER 2
Second level Rangers get to choose a Fighting Style and you know what’s good for tossing shuriken? Thrown Weapon Fighting, letting you draw thrown weapons for free and giving you +2 damage to said thrown weapons!
But of course the main appeal of being a Ranger is the Spellcasting! You can learn two spells from the Ranger list: for a not quite stun that certainly isn’t mini Ensnaring Strike lets you throw a shuriken (or stab with your sword) to root an enemy in place. Alternatively if you want to track people super good Hunter’s Mark gives you advantage on Survival checks to track the person you marked, and also lets you do an extra d6 every time you hit the enemy!
It’s of course worth mentioning that both these spells require Concentration which means you can’t use them along with Favored Foe, but most of the Ranger spell list is Concentration.
LEVEL 7 - RANGER 3
Third level Rangers get to chose their subclass, and I hope you weren’t expecting Hunter just because the character is literally called “Bounty Hunter.” No we’ll be going for the Monster Slayer subclass, because certainly you only hunt monsters who have a price on their head for a reason, right? Regardless Hunter’s Sense will let you know what an enemy’s weaknesses are just by looking at them (and perhaps peeking at their inventory) with your Action. You can use this ability a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier and regain all expended uses at the end of a Long Rest.
But what we’re mainly here for is Slayer’s Prey, for more tracking marks! As a Bonus Action you can put another mark on a foe within 60 feet to make them take an extra d6 the first time you hit them! You can only have one target marked at a time with this ability, and it ends if you take a Short or Long Rest. This stacks with both Hunter’s Mark and Favored Foe, so pick your poison to do as much as you can to your foes!
You can also learn another first level Ranger spell like Snare, to set up in advance for bounties you know are coming. You get a lot more magic too: Monster Slayer Magic provides you with the Protection from Evil and Good spell, which is helpful for hunting down demons and fiends. You can also cast Speak with Animals once per day thanks to Primal Awareness, just in case you’ve been hanging around with Enchantress.
LEVEL 8 - RANGER 4
4th level Rangers get another Ability Score Improvement, but we still kinda need to be able to turn invisible? Good thing Shadow Touched lets you increase your Wisdom by 1 and gives you the Invisibility spell along with one Illusion or Necromancy spell of first level.
What first level spell will we be taking you may ask? Why if only there was a spell to squeeze more gold out of your bounties. Oh wait! Distort Value from Acquisitions Incorporated, allowing you to sparkle up your bounties for more gold! You can cast both of these spells once per Long Rest without using a spell slot, and can also cast them freely with your spell slots.
Tumblr media
(”Desperado in the Shade” set made by HeeJae.)
LEVEL 9 - RANGER 5
5th level Rangers finally get their Extra Attack. It’s about damn time to pick up some attack speed as a Martial Fighter.
You can also learn another spell like Locate Object, because sometimes items have bounties on them too. Speaking of spells Monster Slayer Magic gives you the Zone of Truth spell, and Primal Awareness gives you one casting of the spell Beast Sense, in case you want to ride along with Lifestealer.
LEVEL 10 - RANGER 6
6th level Rangers get Roving from Deft Explorer, increasing their movement speed by 5 and granting them a Climbing and Swimming speed equal to their walking speed, meaning you can follow your bounties through any terrain. Additionally Favored Foe increases to a d6 of damage, so while it’s still not really comparing to Hunter’s Mark it’s still helping!
LEVEL 11 - RANGER 7
7th level Monster Slayers have a Supernatural Defense against magic and crowd control. Whenever the target marked by your Slayer’s Prey feature forces you to make a saving throw or if you try to escape their grapple, you can add a d6 to your roll.
You can also learn another second level spell like Lesser Restoration, as a Dispel is never a bad thing to have.
LEVEL 12 - RANGER 8
Striking foes from the shadows is all well and good but you haven’t got many ways to keep yourself safe. (Other than using your Bonus Action to Disengage I guess.) The Mobile feat will speed you up and let you avoid hits after cutting a foe’s heels!
Tumblr media
(Giant Hunter” set made by Jigglypuff.)
LEVEL 13 - RANGER 9
9th level Rangers get third level spells! This means you get:
Magic Circle from Monster Slayer Magic.
Speak With Plants from Primal Awareness.
And Revivify from the Ranger spell list (thanks Tasha’s), in case you need to help someone Buyback their respawn.
LEVEL 14 - RANGER 10
10th level Rangers are Tireless thanks to Deft Explorer. You can recover Exhaustion on a Short Rest, and can use an action to give yourself a boost of Temporary Hitpoints a number of times equal to your Proficiency bonus, which resets at the end of a Long Rest.
You also get more ways to turn invisible with Nature’s Veil, which lets you turn invisible until the start of your next turn. Like Tireless you have a number of uses equal to your Proficiency bonus, which come back at the end of a Long Rest. “Unseen.”
LEVEL 15 - RANGER 11
11th level Monster Slayers carry a ministun to deal with casters. When you see a creature casting a spell or teleporting within 60 feet of you, you can use your reaction to try to foil it with Magic-User’s Nemesis. The creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC, or its spell / TP fails and is wasted. You can only use this ability once per Short or Long Rest however, so be sure to stop the enemy from using a teleportation scroll.
Additionally you can learn another spell like Nondetection, for protection against wards.
LEVEL 16 - RANGER 12
12th level Rangers can grab another Ability Score Improvement: even though we have an uneven Wisdom score I’m still going to suggest maxing out your Dexterity first for the highest possible AC, damage, and dodging skills.
Tumblr media
(”Hunter with No Name” set made by BigTuna, Vermillion-Wlad, and Stefco. Made for Funn1k.)
LEVEL 17 - RANGER 13
13th level Rogues can learn 4th level spells. You get Banishment from Monster Slayer Magic, but much more importantly you get Locate Creature from Primal Awareness for some proper Bounty Hunting! We’ll also be taking Locate Creature as our learnt spell at this level: one may say that it’s not the most useful spell, but if you need combat magic you can upcast Ensnaring Strike for a chain stun or Invisibility to dust up.
LEVEL 18 - RANGER 14
14th level Rogues see Favored Foe increase to a d8. Is this way too late for a feature that’s still arguably doing less than Hunter’s Mark? Perhaps, but Favored Foe still doesn’t cost your Bonus Action nor a Spell Slot.
You do also get Vanish to hide as a Bonus Action but... you could already do that. Oops.
LEVEL 19 - RANGER 15
15th level Monster Slayers are masters at 1v1ing squishy spellcasters, as you master the Slayer’s Counter. If the enemy you marked with Slayer’s Prey forces you to make a saving throw, you can use your reaction attack them! You make this attack immediately before the saving throw, and if your attack hits you automatically succeed your saving throw.
You can also learn another spell but honestly? Pick your choice. We got just about all the character-accurate spells we could need as is.
LEVEL 20 - RANGER 16
16th level Rangers get their last Ability Score Improvement and while it’s probably late to do this the Resilient feat in Wisdom will make sure the enemy has zero chance to CC you.
WHY NOT ROGUE
There's several reasons I opted for Ranger levels instead of Rogue levels. Firstly Bounty Hunter can crit targets even when not stealthed, and Jinada is described as "preparing" the next attack which is much more in-line with Hunter's Mark and Favored Foe. Gondar's code language is most likely Goblin speak as opposed to Thieves' Cant. And of course Ranger was the only way to acquire tracking spells like Hunter's Mark and Locate Creature.
But above all else there were few Rogue subclasses that fit Gondar. Soul Knife is perhaps the only one that makes sense but ironically enough the unlimited nature of the Soul Knife Psychic Blades doesn't fit. (Also long-ranged teleportation doesn't fit either.) Monster Slayer meanwhile brings the backline counterplay to Gondar and allows me to work in a lot of Bounty Hunter's utility abilities.
FINAL BUILD
PROS
I didn't come here to see my enemies grow rich - You have many ways to get the upper hand both in and out of combat, with both spells and martial prowess to aid you in combat. Between invisibility, Hunter’s Mark, Ensnaring Strike, or just generally tracking your enemy down you have all the tools you could need and more to get the jump on your foes.
Watch your head! - You are very strong against magic users and other enemies who force saving throws, and you didn’t even need the Mage Slayer feat! Monster Slayer is exceptionally good at giving one enemy an incredibly tough time killing you, especially if they rely on magic to do so.
Impressive technique, but not enough - A little bit of Constitution goes a long way, and a +2 to CON along with a d10 hit die will give you quite a bit of bulk in comparison to others.
CONS
A wise hunter knows patience - It takes quite a bit to set up all your marks, with several bonus actions to operate at maximum effectiveness. In fact you have an absolutely excessive amount of Bonus Actions to choose from which can make picking the right one very tricky.
My target eludes me - You also have several Concentration spells, and while your CON saves are good many of your spells are utility based you still can’t turn invisible while tracking down your bounty.
That's going to come out of my pay, isn't it? - Your Wisdom isn’t terrible but it’s not good either, and while most of your spells don’t rely on saving throws many abilities such as Hunter’s Sense and Magic-User’s Nemesis do rely on your Wisdom. I’m not saying Point Buy would be better but your Intelligence really isn’t doing much to help you.
But a good hunter knows what tool to use in any situation, and you have the tools to take out any target... for the right price, of course. Stalk your foes, strike when they least expect it, and reap the rewards for your allies. And if they're the type to complain that you're not from Runeterra simply remember that DOTA is better than League, and a LoL player can't deny.

My Whirlpool of a Life
Ships: Kaminari/OC
Word Count: ~2.2k
I will not be doing a tag list for this fic.
Masterlist
Chapter 6: Never Have I Ever
Some of our classmates started to circle up, as Mina had requested, but there were also quite a few that opted out of the game. In the end, we had Mina, Kirishima, Bakugo (who Kirishima had bugged into joining), Jirou, Sato, Midoriya, Uraraka, Sero, Hagakure, Mineta, Karminari and me. A few of the others hovered around to watch, but the rest headed up to bed.
Todoroki sat a little bit behind me, observing. “I do not understand how you play this game.”
“Hey Mina, could you go over the rules?”
A heard a whispered, “thank you” behind me as Mina launched into her explanation.
“Okay, in case anyone has never played!” She stood in the middle of the circle, slowly spinning as she spoke. “You hold up...let’s say five fingers because it’s starting to get late. I’ll start, and I’ll say something that I’ve never done. If you have done it, you put a finger down. It’s a great get to know you game.”
“And a great game to find out some spicy stuff from the ladies.” I heard Mineta whisper.
Kaminari zapped him. “Dude, chill out.”
I squeezed his hand, flashing him a grateful smile.
“Alright, we all good?” Mina double checked that everyone was ready, before taking a seat next to me again. “Never have I ever...well, kissed a boy. On the lips.”
I rolled my eyes, putting a finger down. I saw Jirou put a finger down too, but no one noticed. She saw that I saw her, but I just winked, not caring to draw attention to it.
“Never have I ever kissed a girl on the lips.” I said, earning a few groans from the boys. Sero and Sato both put a finger down. “Ooooh.”
Sato laughed. “It was my grandmother, when I was little. She was weird like that.”
“I don’t kiss and tell.” Sero said with a wink, earning a few giggles from the rest of the girls.
“Bug, it’s you.”
Kaminari glanced around the circle. “Hmm...never have I ever thrown up in public.”
Uraraka, Sato, Bakugo, Midoriya, and Kirishima all put a finger down.
“Ewwwww!” Hagakure cried out. “That’s so gross.”
“I can’t help it.” Uraraka was a deep red. “If I use my quirk too long, then it makes me queasy.”
“Alright, let’s move on to some juicy stuff.” Mineta rubbed his hands together. When he saw the six-way glare he was getting, he held his hands up in defense. “Okay, okay. Never have I ever been in love.”
Wincing, I put a finger down.
No one else did.
“So, Nima,” Mineta licked his lips. “Who -”
“Nope, not talking about that.” I cut him off, looking in Hagakure’s direction. “Your turn.”
“Okay!” Her hands moved around the circle as she pointed. “Never have I ever...broken a bone!”
Everyone looked at Midoriya, who laughed. “Is it a finger for each bone? Because then I’m out.”
“No, just one.”
Midoriya, Mina, Sero, and Kaminari all put fingers down.
Sero stretched his arms behind his head, hiding how many fingers he had still up. “Never have I ever messaged a pro hero on their website.”
“Come on, man, you can’t expect me to not message Crimson Riot!” Kirishima put a finger down, as well as Midoriya, Hagakura, and Mineta.
“Okay, my turn.” Uraraka’s eyes lit up as she came up with something. “Never have I ever learned how to play an instrument!”
To no one’s surprise, Jirou put a finger down. But so did Bakugo.
“I’m not explaining -”
“His mom had him take music classes when he was younger.”
Bakugo immediately launched in Midoriya’s direction, held back by Kirishima. Sero jumped up to help as Midoriya screamed and zipped off to the stairs with his quirk.
“Well, I guess we’re done.” Mina jumped to her feet. “I learned a lot, even though we didn’t finish playing.”
Yawning, I put my hands up. Mina tugged on them, helping me to my feet. “I’m going to head to bed. More training tomorrow, I don’t want to be sleep deprived.”
Mina leaned in closer, whispering, “If you want to talk about that guy you were in love with, I’m here for you.”
I gave her a quick hug. “Thanks.”
“I want a bedtime hug!”
Whirling around, I wrapped my arms around Kaminari. He pulled me close, gently pressing his lips to my forehead.
“Goodnight, beautiful.”
Over the next few days at training, I managed to nail down Geyser, thanks to Bakugo’s explanation.
“Great!” Midnight praised as I landed it perfectly for the thirtieth time. “Any ideas for another move?”
“Yeah, actually! You know Todoroki’s ice wall?”
The rest of our training days consisted of me trying to perfect what I was calling Tidal Wave. It was a move that could push people away, as well as potentially immobilize them if I could keep them in the water.
Over those days, I got to know my classmates a lot more as well.
After dinner one night, Todoroki and I were out in the back, practicing again. Kaminari was sitting on the steps, content to just hang out.
I had a feeling he was a bit jealous, but since nothing was ever going to happen between me and Todoroki, it wasn’t something I was too worried about.
“You know, you could make an ice platform.” I was saying as I launched up with Geyser, giggling as I caught myself. “If people needed an escape route.”
“Oh I’ve done that already. When we went to I-Island.” The tips of his fingers frosted over.
“Dude, I barely remember what happened for most of that trip.” Kaminari piped up from the steps, coming down to join us on the lawn. “I was fried.”
“You and Mineta fawned over that one girl.”
Kaminari went red as I turned to him, hiding my laughter. “Oh?”
“It was before I met you! And you’re way prettier than she is, and sweeter, and -”
I held a finger to his lips, laughter now pouring out. “Bug, it’s fine! I’m just teasing you. But thanks for feeding my ego.”
“You’re the prettiest girl I know.” He tucked a lock of hair behind my ear. His fingers brushed against my skin, and I breathed in sharply.
“This feels like a moment.” Todoroki interrupted, heading toward the door. “I’ll leave you alone, and let the others know to leave you alone too.”
“Todoroki, it’s fine, we’re heading in too.”
Kaminari followed me in, his hand sliding into mine.
Another night, I found myself in Jirou’s room, listening to her strum something on her guitar and quietly sing as Momo and I did some homework on the floor. Hagakure sat nearby, doing her nails.
“You’re really good, you know.”
She flushed, half-hiding behind the instrument. “Thanks. My parents are musicians, and they started teaching me when I was young. Do you play anything?”
“Oh, no. I’m no good at playing.” I waved a hand in the air. “Dancing, yes. But singing and instruments? Forget it.”
“Not even the harmonica?” Jirou joked, making all of us laugh.
“Maybe the harmonica. Or a kazoo.”
A small breeze came from Hagakure’s direction and I could only assume she was waving her nails in the air to dry them. “So…how are things with Kaminari? You two seem like you’ve gotten pretty cozy.”
“Things are great!” I couldn’t help the heat in my cheeks as I thought about him. “He’s…sort of the opposite of my ex in a lot of ways? But the core thing is still there. He cares a lot about his favorite people.”
There was a beat of silence before Momo cleared her throat. “Could we ask about him? If you’re willing to talk about it, that is.”
I sighed, knowing that I was going to have to talk about it eventually. “Let me text the other girls.”
Soon enough, Tsu, Uraraka, and Mina joined us. They all sat on the floor, while I paced a bit. “Um, ask away I guess? But there are some things I might not answer.”
“We’ll respect that.” Tsu said, and the other girls nodded.
“What’s his name?”
I shook my head. “That’s a no-go.”
Uraraka raised her hand. “When we played never have I ever the other night, you put a finger down for having been in love. Was…was that with him?”
“Yeah. It was.”
“What did it feel like?” She asked, blushing.
“It felt like…like I’d do anything for him. Protect him if he was going to get hurt and help him if he was already hurt. Make him laugh when he needed it, hang out if he needed someone. I’d drop anything to be by his side. But we were best friends before we dated, so I’m not sure if some of that was still lingering.”
“Are you and Kaminari in love?” Jirou teased, twirling her earbuds around her fingers.
I shrugged, deciding to be as honest as possible. “Too early to tell. We’ve been together for a little over a week.”
“Who broke up with who?” Momo asked, before covering her mouth. “Apologies, that shouldn’t be asked.”
“No it - it’s fine.” I swallowed, remembering that day. “He broke up with me.”
Hagakure’s glove went into the air. “Why?”
I shook my head. “I think I’m done with questions.”
“One more thing, and it’s more of a statement than anything.” Momo said, tilting her head as she looked at me. “You should tell Kaminari about him. Eventually. He probably wants to know too.”
“I will. Just, maybe after the assessment?” I rubbed my arms. “I don’t want to throw him off or anything. I can’t be the one who makes him not get his license. But after.”
Jirou nodded. “Good call.”
More training days went by, and I’d managed to mostly get Tidal Wave down. It was hard for me to keep people trapped in it, because they could pretty easily swim out, but I was satisfied with my progress.
“WATCH OUT!”
I turned to see some stone falling towards All Might. Before I could even move, Midoriya was there, kicking through it and blasting it to pieces.
“Midoriya!” I surfed over to him, sweeping the water back into my improved belt. “That was awesome!”
“Yeah, man, I always thought you were more of a puncher.” Kirishima said as he walked up with Kaminari.
“I am!” Midoriya shuffled his feet in the dirt. “Or, I was. But this style helps save my arms from more damage.”
“Sorry for the scare, young Bakugo!” All Might called up.
“WATCH YOURSELF, ALL MIGHT!”
An explosion above had me rolling my eyes. “He really needs to work on manners.”
“We’ll crack him.”
Midoriya sighed as he looked up. “He’s always been like that. Hey, have you guys made costume adjustments too?”
“Yeah! We look pretty awesome, huh?” Kaminari asked, throwing his arm across my shoulders.
Kirishima nodded. “You’re not the only one with a new style. We’ve all been making changes here and there. Gotta upgrade, right?”
“Just wait!” Kaminari pointed his thumb toward himself. “My special new gear is gonna blow your mind. It’s a serious power boost. Wanna see? It’s totally amazing!”
“That’s enough, Class A.”
I turned to see a man dressed in red standing in the doorway, more students lined up behind him.
“Who are they?” I whispered, not recognizing anyone.
“Class B.” Kaminari whispered back. “Most of them are alright. But keep an eye out for -”
“Hey, did you hear?” A boy in what looked like an old magician’s costume stepped forward. “The license exam has a 50% pass rate. That means your entire class might fail!”
He started laughing, and I noticed a ginger girl behind him roll her eyes.
“Um, sorry, who are you?” I asked louder, looking directly at this kid.
He shot me a grin. “You can call me Monoma, sweetheart.”
I flashed him my sweetest smile, fluttering my lashes at him. “Call me sweetheart again and I’ll drown you and make it look like an accident.”
His eyes flew wide and he took a few steps backwards. “That’s a threat!”
“Is it?” I put a hand to my heart. “I meant it as a joke, I swear.”
Kaminari and Kirishima were both stifling laugher behind me. Midoriya looked horrified at what I’d said.
“Unfortunately, his observations are correct.” Tokoyami said as the rest of the class gathered around us. “If we’re taking the same test, then we’ll crush each other. That’s the hand fate has dealt us.”
“And why we won’t be in the same location.” Aizawa spoke up. “Our classes applied to different spots.”
“Hmm, a shame. I was looking forward to fighting you.”
Monoma glared at me. “You probably aren’t even that good!”
I threw a wave up, pinning him to the wall. “Want to find out?”
“Enough.” Mr. Aizawa activated his quirk and the water splashed everywhere no longer under my control. “Let’s go.”
“You’ll be facing kids from other schools.” Mr. Aizawa said as we walked out of the training grounds. “Very few first years try for provisional licenses. You’ll be facing older students, who have had more training, and with quirks you don’t know about. The content of the test is a mystery. You will have a hard time. Don’t get hung up on that, but keep it in mind.”
“Yes, sir!”

famed idol life / career meme
notes: i started doing responses one by one, but then i thought it’d be better to do one big mass-post instead of flooding dash all at once. thank you to all that sent in! appreciate u all :~) (if anyone has any numbers they need, please feel free to like this or just let me know, even if i already sent in an ask!)
2. what are your favorite b-sides/non-title tracks you’ve released?
“i like diana. there’s something moody, sultry about it with a touch of elegance. it’s almost like cheap wine on a long friday — contrasting, but it somehow fits. plus, sooah helped out on that track which becomes the cherry icing on top. perhaps, there’s something better coming out on my next album, where there’s too many b-sides that i’d cherry pick myself to be my favorite. for that, look out at the sea, captain.”
3. what is your least favorite song (title track or b-side) you’ve released?
“i don’t think there’s a least favorite. if there were, then i wouldn’t have partook in any of it — my personality’s in it or out of it. there’s no in between, especially where my voice plays a part. i don’t want to touch things where my heart doesn’t lie, that’d just be cruel. wouldn’t it? if it doesn’t relieve my soul a bit, then i don’t think i’d dip my toes in those waters.”
6. what is one thing (a concept, a genre, an outfit, etc.) you would least like your company make you do?
“i’d like to do house funk, maybe house-pop. you’ve seen elements in it in knight’s old releases, and even the oldies like decipher’s done it. unity’s dabbled in it somewhat in their b-sides, and considering fuse has amassed a long bridge of different concepts — the spectrum’s large. i’d like to wear hawaiian t-shirts and prance around to some summer house-funk, and that’s something i think the general public can all dance around in their rooms to.”
8. if you could be in any idol group, which one would you choose?
“i’ve grown accustomed to fuse — i like being in fuse. i don’t think i’d fit anywhere else, though i would say bee would be a nice change for the summer fun. i’d even enjoy myself to be in unity had i been a boy. can you imagine? the fun that would come out of belting welcome to my playground, and singing the tunes to touch. that’d be a girl’s dream come true.”
9. if you could say one thing to your ceo, what would it be?
“you’re the prettiest person i’ve ever seen. in the whole country, out of all the women in the world — you’re the standard of beauty. but i’m sure the whole world knows that by now, don’t they? i thank you for giving fuse some of the best songs, and though i’ve never met you face by face, i’d like to believe you’re better than what’s shown from face value. but, still — my wannabe face is you but no amount of plastic surgery would turn me into you, would it?”
10. if you were auditioning for your company today, what would you perform for your audition, or what would you change from your original audition?
“i don’t think i’d repeat the dance, nor attempt to dance to something like seo taeji and boys. if i recall, i did h.o.t’s we are the future, and snsd’s kissing you with a ruler i had in my back pocket. in retrospect, that was my standard of dancing — if only i’d known it’d become a bad memory to highlight the work i have left. maybe, i’d only stick to kissing you, ruler version while singing something more melodically acceptable than finkl’s now.”
11. if you could do any special stage, what would it be and who would it be with?
“i don’t know — i don’t know many things when it comes to these mix and match scenarios. i know i’d like to make a stage where i can dance freely as if i’m in the comfort of my own home. perhaps to a song like gee, or even oh — even willing to dabble in lipstick’s genie if it means dressing up like a sailor and going ahoy. i’d want to do the stage with jeonghwa, sooah, and well — i don’t have that many friends to give you a special stage, oops.”
13. if you could become a model or ambassador for any brand, what would you choose?
”again, i’ve been blessed and satiated with each and every opportunity given. working with dior has been a smooth sailing ride as well as cartier — perhaps, given the option i wouldn’t opt for pathere de cartier but a different line. still, nothing really takes away from the heart and soul of their jewelry, which i appreciate with my cup of tea. i’d continue to work with dior, and if hermes would ever take the punch — i’d even have an affair with them.”
14. if you could be on any variety show, which one (or which type of one) would you want to be on?
“knowing brothers — i really watch that show. or even, 전지적 참견 시점 — those are the shows i keep tabs of on a weekly basis. i'd love my manager to have her time to shine and steal the hearts of the world with her variety work. she’s a very funny person you know. as for knowing brothers? that’s a given knowing how quick the crowd is on their feet and the little mini-games that come from each episode. i hurt my stomach each time from laughing along so many times.”
16. what changes would you implement if you were the ceo of your company?
“a free-for-all. i’ve never wanted to become a ceo, but had i been granted the opportunity to rule on all floors, i’d implement a few things. mandatory art classes, and creative freedom to the album jackets for all my artists. no dating-bans, let it all air out — most of all, i’d let them do as they wished as long has it harmed nobody else and they could handle the aftermath. no restrictions, roam free, bunnies.”
17. what do you do to relieve the stress of idol life?
“call me pretentious or call me a sell-out, i do what any other normal person does. i like sitting in the cafes with my notebook out, sketching. i sketch people that come in and out, or the people that decide to sit next to me. if i’m home, i’m painting on canvas with my record player crooning in the background or knitting a sweater to wear next winter. on a really adventurous day, you’ll see me playing the pole or stretching my limbs at pilates. but that’s on a non-lazy day.”
18. what tips would you give to a trainee about to debut?
“wear your skin like armor, and let it thicken as time goes on. no need to get hurt by words, and instead roll with the punches — learn to accept the hate that comes, and be scrutinized underneath a microscope. sometimes, you don’t know if it’s really reality, but the faster you assimilate yourself, the quicker you learn to glide past your career. think of everything as a catch-22, only there’s no real safety net.”
19. what was the hardest part of being a trainee?
“getting along with the other people and have them stay away from getting to know me. it’s obvious, the trainee life is temporary — there’s going to be those that debut and those that don’t, so why pry further than you have to? everyone should’ve been given the basic privacy instead of trying to play formalities and get along. other than that, i hated dance practice and i still do. dance isn’t a strong suit, and having someone force me to follow a tempo i can’t march to was no fun at all.”
20. did you enjoy the lifestyle of a trainee or of a debuted idol more?
“i liked being a debuted idol far better, only because there was a layer of privacy given to me. ironically, i was suddenly in the public eye. yet, it still allowed some layer of anonymity within the inner circle and the day to day people i interacted with. starting from a sea of trainees, and having it dwindle to a group of my members — it all made it easier to handle in the end. besides, i was getting no sleep regardless trainee or not.”
22. describe your dream sub-unit (members and concept).
“take the fuse darker concepts — peekaboo, bad boy, psycho. and merge it into one, all while getting rid of the dresses too short to dress in. wrap it all together, and you get my favorite concept. i like mystery, and latent meanings behind pretty tunes, and being able to do that each comeback would be a dream. surely, the audience might get bored of it, but i wouldn’t and i’m allowed to be selfish, aren’t i? my dream sub-unit, i’d take sooah. without sooah, i don’t know what i’d do, really. she’s like a mini-mom, three years younger. then, i’d take kiana for the dance that sooah and i can’t handle. i suppose i’d add suji in there because i don’t think anyone can belt like she does, no offense to kiana. but there’s a heartier belt when suji does it. sorry to our leader, i guess.”
23. out of the following six options, would you rather be allowed to play a major hand in the lyrics, production, choreography, styling, music videos, or concepts you release?
“i started off in lyrics, so i’ll stay loyal till the end. i’ll keep to the lyrics, so i can continue to write the stories my heart wants to say. sometimes, i’ll fall into cliches, but that’s okay. if it’s not in music production or the general content of the song, i suppose i’d take a dabble in styling — and stop dressing myself in the short skirts making it impossible to dance. really, those are the only two things i’ll be selfish for.”
25. what is your least favorite part of being an idol?
“waking up early, not having enough time to draw — those would just be the superficial things, right? but really, there’s pros and cons to any jobs, just ask any office worker with a nine to five. however, if i’m given a sliver of honesty to wave my grievances, i’d like to mention that i don’t like working in short skirts that get shorter each comeback. i don’t like getting mauled by the public of who i make eye contact with or who i work with — i don’t like getting over criticized and the list goes on.”
26. what is your favorite part of being an idol?
“i’ve always been a story teller. i like crafting stories and telling my world for how i see it, and given this opportunity in music, i’m able to do so. i like playing with instruments, sketching out things for an album idea — the creative process while meeting new people along the way. it’s a journey, an adventure and most of all, it avoids stagnation. i’m on the move, go go go.”
27. would you rather be incredibly famous with a terrible reputation and hated by most or be fairly unknown with a good reputation and adored by those who know of you? why?
“i’m already disliked by most — they don’t like the way i dress, who i’m friends with or the manner in which i present myself. but i’m given the opportunity to ignore these things along the way, and learn to handle things bit by bit. given the choice, i’d rather hide in anonymity with the few around me enjoying my presence. i’ve learned by now, public opinion doesn’t correlate to much as it’s nothing more than a crow perched far away as poe would say.”
29. what have you learned about yourself and/or society since becoming a celebrity?
“i’ve only been taught life skills, such as time management and patience. in hindsight, i’ve learned how cruel people are to judge things from what they see at surface level. the world’s superficial — that’s a bitter pill to swallow. i don’t know much about myself as i haven’t gotten that part figured out. instead, i’ve just learned that the world is cruel and the people in it amount to little to no positivity — go figure.”

Morning Light
Pairing: Bucky x Reader
Word Count: 1500
Warnings: Surprise surprise - it’s sappy.
Summary: Bucky learns something new.
A/N: Wow, it’s been a while. I’m so sorry for being gone so long. I’ve missed you all, but I want to thank everyone for being so patient, supportive and kind these past few months. Life has been kicking me in the guts for a while, but things are starting to look up again. I’m happy to be back.
This is my piece for the beautiful @barnesrogersvstheworld ‘s 4k challenge, and my prompt was, “For me, there is only you.” This one was heavily inspired by the gorgeous song, “Follow the Sun” by Caroline Pennell. Attie - you asked for soft, sweet Bucky. I hope I delivered. This one is for you, my love.
*** Familiar notes slip through warm air.
The song is filtered through a golden sunrise. Coaxed from worn, vinyl strings. Drawn through a little ukulele resting in your lap, all light wood and pretty grain and sun yellow accents.
Chords meet ears with measured precision. A practiced elegance you still manage to find in the threadbare sweater you stole from him and the fuzzy socks on your feet, a peaceful kind of grace he’s grown so fond of. Sprawled across the armchair, bathed in early morning light.
Bucky finds himself smiling at the sound.
It catches him every time, the melody he’s heard more times than he can count since first finding you playing in the gray of the compound, the song that drew him to you. Every moment it rings through the apartment brings warmth with it. Chases the cold from the world, from his fevered mind. Paints his world with sunlight.
His heart feels softer as he looks at you, abandoning his book to study the careful way your fingers move against the slim neck. Listen to gentle hum of lyrics he’s long since memorized that you sing under your breath. Trace his gaze over your sweet face.
Steely eyes watch you play for a few more moments. Tongue dragging over full lips, flesh fingers picking at a loose thread in the silky material of the blanket draped over his legs.
And his next words are a surprise even to him, even as his mind works up the courage to say them. The quiet, “Will you teach me?” that falls from his lips making your hands still.
You tilt your head just a little. Smile at him, surprise coloring your voice as you ask, “What?”
He clears his throat, a flicker of anxiety resting in his chest. “Will you teach me to play?”
“Didn’t know you had any interest in music,” you say, more affection than teasing in your tone. It only takes a moment for you to stand. Step over to him, settle next to him on the couch. Curl into his side, ukulele still held tightly in your hands. He tucks you under his arm, brushing his fingers against smooth wood, thin strings.
“Ma always liked it,” he tells you, thankful that the words find a way around the lump forming in his throat. “Becca did, too.” A cool, metal palm settles on the side of your face. Fingertips ghost over your cheekbone, thumb brushing along your lashes as your eyes flutter shut, a content noise pushing past your lips. “And I like that song, love when you play it.”
Something impossibly fond, almost indulgent, settles over your features. Lingers in your eyes as they open to look up at him, in that soft smile stretching across your face.
“Okay, Buck. I’ll teach you.”
Warm lips press to his shoulder. His neck and his jaw. And then you’re nudging him, making him sit up and turn. Moulding your chest to his back, moving the ukulele to his lap and adjusting his grip on it, hands gentle against his own.
Laughter falls from his mouth as you hook your chin over his shoulder, give his neck another kiss. His tone is teasing, fond as he asks, “You give everyone you teach this special treatment?”
Arms squeeze tight around him, your hair tickling the side of his face as you rest your cheek against his.
“Never, Buck. Only you.” He tips his face toward you. Lets his nose run along your hairline, soft and sweet. Chuckles a little when you squeeze him once more, chide with a quick, “Now, quit distracting me.”
The contrast of the instrument and striking metal makes Bucky’s breath catch as he looks back down at the ukulele. But your hands are covering his silver fist soon enough, thumb stroking over the plates in a placating gesture, lips brushing across his jaw as you move his fingers the way you want them. Settle his first and second finger one fret down on the second and third strings, his ring finger finding its place on the third fret of the string between his first two.
It’s a clumsy movement. Awkward positioning with the unforgiving material. And it feels strange.  Wrong. Almost like he should stop, until your other hands guides his right to fall down the strings, breathe life into the chord.
Warmth blooms within him at the sound, familiar and comforting and created by his hand. Like a beautiful, live thing.
“There,” you whisper, and Bucky swears he can hear something like pride lacing your tone. “That’s the first chord, you got it.”
“You make it look so easy,” he tells you, but there’s a smile on his face anyway. One that grows as he turns his head to glance at you, rest his forehead against yours and lean into you a little further.
“You’ll get the hang of it. Already made one chord sound so pretty.”
“Nothing like when you do it,” he murmurs. “Prettiest thing in the world when you play.” And it’s the truth. It’s more real than anything he’s ever felt, the adoration as he listens to your soft voice singing the lyrics, hands drawing music from thin strings.
The answering laugh he gets from you is quiet. Charming in that easy way you always seem to be. “Softie.” Your fingers tuck a stray lock of hair behind his ear. “You wanna learn the other two in the song now?”
It gets easier as he learns the few other chords, settles into the feeling of playing. Feels sweeter when he can string them together, match up the pieces of the melody that led him to you, the notes he’s ingrained in his heart. Even sweeter still when he feels your warm breath on his cheek as you say, “See? Already a pro.”
He huffs a short laugh. Turns until he’s by your side again. Tucks you against his body, beneath the curl of his arm. The ukulele lies still in his lap, fingers following the grain of the light wood.
It’s such a small thing, the weight of the little thing against him. The memory of the notes filling the air fresh in his mind, something he brought to life. Something he could share with you.
“Thank you,” he whispers, voice more tender than he means it to be, settling his nose in your hair and breathing you in.
“Always,” you answer, pushing further into his side. Pressing up to kiss his lips, lingering and gentle, before resting in the crook of his arm again and looking up at him, saying, “But you better not use your master ukulele skills to impress someone else.”
“Never, darlin’,” he murmurs, the full extent of his conviction carefully hidden. “Never anyone else.” You tip your head into his hand when he rests it in your hair, start to grow heavy and loose against him. “For me,” he whispers, unable to hold the words back, “there is only you.”
He sees the answering flicker of light in your eyes. Affection bubbles through his veins, strong and dizzying. It strikes him in the deepest part of his heart, love smoothing over everything else in his mind.
And with it comes those memories he’s stopped trying to tamp down, bubbling to the surface. The sound of quiet music echoing against pale walls. Flashes of a record player crooning in the living room. A warm embrace, a soft voice in his ear. And then later, much later, small feet standing over his own, laughter and bright eyes staring up at him, adoration flickering through the little face he still remembers more clearly than nearly anything else.
A flare of grief crawls under his skin. Makes him ache for the things he’s lost -
He lets his eyes fall to you again. Catch your gaze, the tender, almost protective expression on your face. Thinks of you all those mornings he needed you most, when the ice crept back under his skin and the dark folded into his mind, as you held him in your arms. Kissed his skin and whispered the lyrics he’s grown so fond of, the song that always brings him back to you  -
But adore the things he’s gained.
“Me too, Buck,” you tell him, gentle but fierce and sure in that way you always are with him. “Never anyone but you.”
He smiles sweet through his soul. “Play it for me again?”
Your laughter is warm and light against his shoulder, expression bright and fond. “Always, you big sap.”
The weight of the ukulele lifts from his lap as you hold it in your arms again. The pads of your fingers are quick to cover the frets, hands pulling an easy timbre into the air. Bucky tucks his arm further around your shoulders. Presses a quick kiss to your hair.
His eyes trace over the shape of you, a blissful smile curling over his lips as morning light dusts across your face, painting your movements in the softest gold.

First OG Post :)
Tumblr media
So this is a random little thingie, but I just wanted to present to you (anyone who comes by my page) my OC. Her name is Lili Primum, but her true name is Lilith (I changed up the origin of Lilith). Lilith is a Goddess, and she rules/mother of all supernatural beings, all beings in the Underworld and of the Fae. She appears as an average human girl, but that’s only because she’s using her human form. Lili has no parents. She has been asleep for 2,000 years but woke back up because the Underworld needs her aid. And so she started making moves to regain her throne in the Underworld. To do so, she set her sights on Ryoutei Academy, where the Sakamaki & Mukami brothers were, as well as Yui. (She comes around the time when Yui first encounters the Mukami brothers). With that, she got closer with everyone.
———————————
Name: Lili Primum
Age: 18 y/old (soul=pre-creation of Underworld)
Weight: 130lb/58.9kg
Height: 5’5ft/152.4cm
Body: Hourglass figure, six-pack, small waist, thick thighs and hips, c-cup, toned.

Relationships:
Friends with all the vampires (brothers)
Closest with Yui, Laito, Reiji, Yuma, and Azusa
Doesn’t fall in love with anyone (sorry if that’s what you wanted😓)
Personality:
Lili is lovely with everyone she meets and can make almost anyone comfortable with her right off the bag. She’s sarcastic, a joker, and but also really down to Earth. It’s hard to, but if you get on her wrong side…well, let’s just say that that’s the last thing you’d wanna do. She chooses to be civil with words before anything but won’t hesitate to use her magic to get her way and fight or protect others. She is very manipulative with her words but only for good reasons like getting herself out of bad situations, manipulating bad people into making the right decisions, or fooling bad people. Rarely ever lies and is pretty straightforward to everyone. Likes to get right to the point. She may seem weak, but she can knock anyone out no matter how big they are. She’s also brilliant (considering she is one of the oldest living beings on Earth). Her views adapt to the century she’s in, but her morals and principles stay the same. Wise and classy, even in her wild times. As a Goddess, you’d expect her to be cold, prideful with a degrading approach to others, but she doesn’t. She’s not evil either, she can be mischievous but all in good intent.
Family: has no parents, but she does have many children. You can consider the whole Underworld her family since they all relate back to her. She sees the vampires and Yui as her family after a while of being with them.
Abilities: she’s powerful and loves competing and entering challenges. She’s a pro in martial arts, Muay Thai, and Judo. She’s also really skilled with weapons, even though she hardly ever needs them. She mostly relies on her powers, but having the physical capability to defeat someone is also essential, and the foundation to her power.
Talents:
Can sing
Dance
Paint
Play most instruments
Sports
Writing poems and stories
Gymnastics
Academics
Powers: Lili’s powers are omnipotent, meaning she is literally capable of doing almost everything. Considering she is a Goddess. She is much stronger than Karlheinz, Burai, Carla, and any ruler. Some cool things to know is that she can control time, sound, and gravity. She has poison in her standard canines, she’s also immune to poison, and the only food that can energize her (doesn’t need it but it refreshes her) is “Essentia” essence that comes from the Earth and all living beings. It’s energy that comes from someone’s life force like a soul.
Things to know:
Lilith goes into slumber whenever she wants to. It can only be because she wants to grow into a new generation of beings to understand them, or a skill she uses in wars, so she can then disguise herself and defeat those who wish to overthrow her. She cannot be killed because she is a Goddess, she can be injured and cut up, but she will never die.
Her pure form is enormous, like 400ft(12192cm) tall, she has white demon wings, two white horns that fade into purple at the tips, two whitetails that ombré into purple at the tips, two spades on the tail at the end. She has sharp teeth, long claw-like nails, and pointy ear shape. She only ever gets tall when she’s using her full power. She’ll stay 5’5ft; most of the time.
Her children are the first First-Bloods; also, she is the mother of monsters like Hydra, Chimera, Scylla, and the Minotaur. These are just the basics. She didn’t birth them, but she did create them to breed them and allow a population of beasts and monsters to grow. The same happened with the First-Bloods. They have golden eyes because she willed them to, she got the inspiration from the overflowing amount of gold in the Underworld.
————
Ok well, that’s the basics. If you wanna ask me any questions about her (tho I doubt anyone will cause I have like no followers) then I’d happily answer them. But here’s my OC…okie you can continue scrolling through Tumblr now💜.
Oh, and I drew her eyes but everything else was made from MonsterGirlMaker app.

When you’re hungry...🙊
Tumblr media
🐰Sleep it off.
☁️Journal and write down your thoughts. Some Ideas: trends you wanna wear in your new body, to-do lists, poems, songs, quotes, aesthetic collage, etc.
🐰STUDY!!!
☁️Play games. This really helps me. I usually play minecraft and next thing ik i look at the clock and its been hours and I’ve already got a whole medieval kingdom built. PRO TIP: I also play Toca Kitchen and it helps soooo much. It calms me down because its like I’m cooking food and feeding it to the cute character and its all virtual.
🐰Look at thinspiration or make a thinspo board for yourself.
☁️Draw. It takes a long time, especially if you choose to use paint because you get really concentrated. For me to draw something + color it afterwards it usually takes me a whole afternoon and when the masterpiece is finished I’m really satisfied and happy.
🐰Drink tea. No, this is not self sabotage. Tea isn’t going to ruin your fast. My favorite is Chai. Stick to water, all kinds of tea, and coffee.
☁️Take a walk. This is never a bad idea. Put on a jacket (you’re probably cold depending on how long you’ve been fasting) and go outside. Take your headphones and just people watch or nature watch. But do NOT bring money with you or you might be tempted to buy food.
🐰Clean. Personally, this always works for me because I’m a clean-freak by habit lol. But when you think about it, its all about keeping your hands busy and OFF the food. So dust, wipe down your windows, do laundry, etc.
☁️Stretch. Trust me. 15 mins. Just do it and tell me how you feel afterwards.
🐰Make a playlist with songs that you can relate to. It can be about your ed or anything else.
☁️If you play an instrument, this is a good chance to FINALLY practice. I play guitar and piano but I’ll admit I’m guilty of neglecting them. Still trying though!!!
🐰And lastly, exercise. Do I do this often? No, because personally I hate exercise with a passion 😬 So only sometimes. But ik there are people who truly enjoy it so I added it here.
WHAT I DON’T RECOMMEND DOING:
🚫Watching TV. This always makes me crave shit. Idk if its because I’m sitting and doing nothing but it just triggers mindless eating.
🚫Being anywhere near the kitchen.
🚫Making plans w/ friends that INVOLVE EATING. If they don’t, then by all means go ahead.
🚫Scrolling through your phone for long periods of time. If you’re not eating, you might as well be using your time wisely to improve a skill or a hobby.
🔎IMPORTANT🔎
When you are fasting... please, please, once you’ve gotten to your third day, eat something that is between 200-300 calories. By the third day your body is in need of nutrients so at least put SOMETHING in your stomach. I usually have raisins or a cup of yogurt.

Skyrim wind waker theme song main menu replacer
Tumblr media
#Skyrim wind waker theme song main menu replacer mod#

#Skyrim wind waker theme song main menu replacer mods#
Here are some of the best soundtracks that fit the bill. Portugês: Eu coloquei a versão brasileira da canção porque eu quis e também é mais fácil de entender o tempo. The most awsome video game music in my opinion is no more no more heros, from no more heros. The song is pretty eazy because in majority on time it uses the same 5 notes. Since I made a disturbing video game tracks thread, Ill make a n awsome video game music thread too. I'm not sure I'd personally put on a 10-hour stream of Mario Kart's superstar theme, but I do find upbeat is better than slow and ambient for getting me motivated. Ive put the brazilian version of the song because its my tab and also ive eazier to understand the tempo.
#Skyrim wind waker theme song main menu replacer pro#
This "life pro tip" has been going around the internet for a while, but in my experience, not all video game soundtracks are well tuned to this purpose. Alle varemerker tilhrer deres respektive eiere i USA og andre land. And thanks to a viral TikTok, Mario Kart streams have gone through the roof with students racing to finish homework on deadline. 4 Monster Hunters main theme gets me pumped up, so i always let it sound before. The music is just that sweet spot between exciting and chill. There are two versions - a Replacer, and a Non-Replacer version for those who would rather mix soundtracks together. But I have to say that the crown goes to The Great Sea in Wind Waker. 235+ individual orchestral tracks heighten the fantasy feel of the game in a way, affecting everything from exploration to towns and castles. Man of the World Ukulele: Naruto Shippuuden: Cand圜ane52: 3. Makars Violin Ukulele: Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker: pixelmuzik: 4. Main Theme Ukulele: Howls Moving Castle: Cand圜ane52: 4. Main Theme Ukulele: Bubble Bobble: kurebisubarudo: 5.
#Skyrim wind waker theme song main menu replacer mod#
After all, they're designed to engage you with the task at hand without drawing too much attention to the actual tunes. This is one gargantuan audio mod that adds 12 full hours of new music into Skyrim. Eponas Song Ukulele: Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time: pixelmuzik: 4.5. It turns out, there's a genre of music that fits this bill perfectly: video game soundtracks. So it’s really a music replacement mod that changes the Skyrim theme music in the main menu to be a Zelda Temple of Time remix song. And this mod is a simple one, but worth using: It just adds custom LoZ music to your Zelda-themed playthrough.
#Skyrim wind waker theme song main menu replacer mods#
This isn't just anecdotal, either- plenty of research actually suggests music can help you get into that "flow state" required for more productive work, particularly fast-paced instrumental music that doesn't distract you with lyrics. Some of the most immersive mods in any game are related to changes in the music or theme. Sign up for our Games newsletter and never miss our latest gaming tips, reviews, and features.

Don’t stop if you’re enjoying yourself  s.h.
Disclaimer: i don’t own any Stranger Things material
Word count: 1086
Warnings: nothin’ honey (like one word)
Pairing: Steve Harrington x Reader (female)
Summary: based on the prompt “Don’t stop if you’re enjoying yourself” (#9) from the list I reblogged earlier where the reader thinks she’s alone only to be surprised with a quiet little audience
Tumblr media
See them walking hand in hand
Across the bridge at midnight
Heads turning as the lights flashing out
Are so bright
And walk right out to the four line track…
“Yes,” you whisper to yourself as the first lines of your all-time favorite song come out of the buds of your walkman.  You continue to paint and wiggle your shoulders, simultaneously tapping the toe of your converse on the cold marble floor of the art room.
You were here not of your own volition, but rather because you were majorly behind in your final art assignment of the semester, meaning if you didn’t get it in by the end of the week, you were looking at a 60 in the class and a pretty pissed-off mom.  It was always best to keep your grades average and stay out of everyone’s way.  That’s how you found yourself day after day walking the halls on your own with the sleeves of your sweaters rolled and your hair tied up in a scrunchie.  Simple and not very likely to draw the attention of horny teenage boys.  It’s just how things have always been and you let it stay that way.
Stopping your thoughts and realizing you were leaning towards dark blues and blacks because of the semi-depressing inner monologue you got your mind tangled in, you put the brush down and closed your eyes, letting the drum and synthetic sounds of the song fill your head and wipe it clean.
After about two minutes came the instrumental break and you let it move your whole body with it.  You looked around the class and peeked into the hall to see it empty (it was 4:30 afterall), so you shrugged and pushed your chair in, hopping around on your feet and swinging your arms above your head, all the while pretending you were playing the drums and singing lead vocals.  You weren’t stupid, so not a sound left your mouth.  Unfortunately, the squeak of your sneakers went unnoticed by you, since you had the volume of your little machine turned all the way up and it drew the attention of a doe-eyed, floppy haired someone.
Steve Harrington had just finished an impromptu shoot-around in the gym and remembered he had left his calculus notebook in his locker, but as he hustled his way there, he heard what sounded like a little bunny jumping up and down in one of the classrooms down the hall.  He quirked his eyebrows and after a short argument in his own head weighing the pros and cons of deviating from his intended path, he followed the sound and found a sight he never thought he’d see.  In the middle of a mostly barren classroom, hopping around in her little red converse and tight black shorts, he found you.  The scene was at the same time hilarious and incredibly surprising and he stood there and watched you move around with no inhibition.
You didn’t see him at first - he was silent and still.  It took you a few more embarrassing dance moves and the decision to spin in a circle before you saw the tall figure leaning against the door frame watching with a huge grin on his face.  Shit.  Steve Harrington.  The.  Steve.  Harrington.  You immediately halted your actions, which caused you to lose balance and trip on a stray pencil on the floor, hitting your hip a little into one of the desks.  You could feel how wide your eyes were and the fact that your mouth had formed a perfect ‘o’ and quickly you made your face return to neutral, but you couldn’t stop the wave of heat rising to your cheeks and the tips of your ears, no doubt making them red as a tomato.  You cleared your throat and opened your mouth to speak.  “C-can I help… you?”  God, you could not sound more pathetic if you tried.
“Oh, I’m fine right here and please, don’t stop if you’re enjoying yourself.”  Of course he would make fun of you, it was a pretty ridiculous situation you found yourself in.  You scoffed a little and rocked forward onto the balls of your feet, desperately wishing the ground would just swallow you up.
“Well, sorry.  Show’s over.”  You turned your back to the boy and sat on your stool, cold from the few minutes you had stood up and cleaned up your supplies, but not before tossing your stupid walkman in your bag as if it were the hunk of plastic’s fault for the situation you had gotten yourself into.
“You know, I liked your dancing.”  Before he could say anything else, you sent him a glare that almost physically hurt.  “Please don’t look at me like that.  I’m serious.  I-I like that you were dancing like there was no one else in the world.”  Did he just stutter?  The King of Hawkins High was nervous?
You gave him a coy little smile and tilted your head a bit, getting a little more comfortable to see his discomfort.  “There wasn’t until you showed up.”
With a smirk and a breathy laugh, he continued.  “Right.  Sorry about that, by the way.  I really didn’t mean to spy, I just heard you in here and curiosity got the better of me.”  You didn’t respond right away, letting the apology wash over you as you gave him a once over.  Long legs.  Nice tanned arms.  Pouty pink lips.  Big brown eyes.  Shiny hair.  Jesus, was this guy a Disney prince or something?  Once your eyes met, he looked away.
After half a minute, you caved and let him off easy.  “Okay.  I accept your apology.  You are free to go.”  You let a breath out of your nose and turned once more to make sure you got everything.
“Wait.  Uh, Y/N, would you maybe wanna show me some more of your moves sometime?”  In any other circumstance and if you were any other girl, you would have laughed out loud at how lame those words sounded coming out of his mouth.  But you weren’t any other girl and you were being asked out by Steve Harrington.  Now was not the time for laughing.
You sat straight up and faced him, searching for any hint his question was just a mean joke, but he didn’t seem like the type.  You sucked in your bottom lip and chewed on it for a second before answering.  “I’ll think about it.”  Yes, YN, keep your cool and keep him guessing.  You grabbed your bag and threw your jacket over your shoulder.  “I’ll see you around, Steve.”  Nailed it.

How To Retouch Hair In Photoshop
When you perform photo editing in Photoshop, you’re required to focus on every minute detail to make your image ‘picture-perfect’. Making sure that your model has no flaws, photographers retouch hair, makeup, and even face adjustments.
In this article, we’ll be precisely talking about how to retouch hair in photoshop like a pro.
10 Useful Tips For Hair Retouch In Photoshop
1. Remove unwanted hairs from the face
To make your model’s face look cleaner and more put-together, it’s necessary to retouch hair to remove all the unwanted hairs.
Retouch hair from all the small areas like the edges of the forehead, hairs falling near ears, neck. This may seem like a tedious task but it’s worth it.
Use Healing Brush and Spot Healing tool to remove stary hairs in Photoshop. This tool is useful to retouch any area of the body or an image and works quite flawlessly.
However, make sure that you don’t over retouch hair or it might look fake. It would be better if you’re using a high-resolution image.
2. Remove hairs from the background
It’s impossible to keep the hairs in one place no matter how much you control the air. This becomes highly difficult especially when you’re shooting outdoors.
Hairs floating in the background can really degrade the look of your image. It’s highly important that you make sure that there are no stray hairs in the background.
Such small hair retouch techniques can highly improvise your image.  You may use the Stamp tool to avoid any mistakes and artificial looks in the images. It can easily help you retouch hair without messing with the background.
3. Fill in the spots using Clone Stamp Tool
Hairs make the model more pretty -  unless your look demands bald goodness. Make sure that the hairs in the image look bloomed, full, and fluffy.
Hide all the incomplete and idle spaces between the hairs. For this hair retouch technique, use the Clone Stamp tool. This tool copies one area and pastes it to another area.
Copy the fuller areas of the hairs and paste it on the less fuller and empty areas in-between the hairs,
4. Use Dodge and Burn tool
To retouch hairs, Dodge and Burn tool can be useful for increasing the volume of the hairs. You may try using some beauty products to create that fluff but there’s something magical about doing it through Photoshop.
This technique instantly increases the volume of the hairs, giving it a more polished look. If you’re new to this, I’d advise you to try doing it on the RW files as it offers a better resolution. Work on the edges and edit the cloned area to maintain originality.
5. Avoid using frequency separation
The Frequency Separation technique is specifically used for correcting the skin tone and should not be used to retouch hairs. This technique smoothes the skin, thus, if you’re using it on the hairs, it can pretty much ruin the texture of the hairs.
A professional photo editor or photographer never commits such mistakes. So be sure not to do it in any case.
If you’re not sure how to implement techniques and what to avoid, I highly recommend you hire an image retouching service to make the work easier and more professional for you.
6. Add additional hairs
There are several ways with which you can add more hair to an image. Try experimenting with different brush sizes to create more natural strands of hair.
You may also use a similar contrast of colors to draw hairs. Stroke the brush in the natural growth direction of the hairs. This technique to retouch hairs is very creative as well as effective.
To match the shade with the original hair color, use the eyedropper tool to pick the sample and use it for the additionally created hairs.
7. Use Quick Mask mode to change the hair color
To get an applauding effect, you may want to change the hair color. It could be in order to match the theme or the dress. Whatever be the reason, photoshop makes this hair retouch option super-easy.
First up, create a red mask over the hair. Choose Select & Inverse to separate hairs. With any tone picked from a color palette, you can transform the mask layer.
You may use the brush tool, but if not comfortable, you may use the pen or lasso tool.
8. Increase the length
For the times when you want the hair length to be longer, use the round brush tool to increase the length to retouch hair in Photoshop.
After choosing a color, you can start drawing the strands. Create a natural look by adding different colors, shades, or highlights.
If it doesn’t give you the desired look, try applying the Gaussian Blur. This will help you make the back strands blurrier to mingle with the rest of the hairs.
Highlight the areas by lightning the top and front parts and darkening the back part. This not only creates an illusion but also makes the overall look more realistic.
9. Liquify to shape the hair
Photoshop offers a wide variety of exciting features that every professional loves exploring. To take the hair retouching to another level, use the Liquify option for better control of what you do.
Mostly, you’ll need this filter to add a curvy or wavy effect to your hair retouching. To make it better, you may use the Forward Warp instrument on the hairline. But, remember to make very short strokes for the best results.
10. Keep experimenting for most natural variations
While you retouch hairs, the control is in your hands. To bring the most out of your image, be creative, keep experimenting with new colors for more original variations.
Using variations in colors and different shades of similar colors helps you get a unique, more natural, and enhanced look.
Create different hairstyles using different hairbrushes. With the help of Flip-X, you can move the brush in any direction to create natural texture.
Conclusion
For professional editors and photographers, photo editing and image retouching is a crucial part to enhance the image appearance. For models and make-up photography, the most important element to deal with is the hair.
It might become quite daunting to retouch hairs if you’re a beginner. Using a few smart tips mentioned above can help you master these techniques.
For all cases where you can’t retouch hairs on your own, taking help from image editing services like Pixelphant can be a huge relief and advantage to your business.

ben & tommy ; movie night @fitslikeacardigan
tommy
Tommy spent the past hour getting ready for movie night. He made popcorn, ordered food, and had made a carefully curated dessert table. He grinned and queued up Netflix on the tv just as he heard a knock on the door, leaping up and getting tangled in the oversized hoodie he was wearing as he staggered his way to the door. “Dude!” He threw the door open and beamed at the boy on the porch. “Child’s Play, Nightmare before Christmas, Or Corpse Bride?”
ben
Ben would never say no to a movie night. They were opportunities to both rewatch old favorites and expand his horizons. They also were conducive to wearing oversized sweaters and cuddling up with friends or partners under a shared blanket, occasionally talking over the movie, and losing track of time. So he was glad to go over to Tommy's for one of these movie nights. Giving him a smile, Ben shrugged off his coat, draping it over one arm, a plastic grocery bag in his hand. "Corpse Bride, I guess? Honestly, man, I'm down for whatever you'd want to watch - it's been ages since I've seen any of those." Going to toe off his shoes, he rested one arm against the wall to keep his balance, still smiling with excitement. "Oh - snacks are in the bag- gimme a minute, I don't want to fall over."
tommy
almost literally lit up when Ben mentioned the Corpse Bride. “Dude that snd Beetlejuice are my favorites!” He left the boy to right himself and hopped over to show him the snacks he had laid out. “Set em here! Help yourself. I got your favorite from the diner and so much candy.” He beamed and flopped back on the couch, panting in an  attempt to catch his breath because he had been talking way too fast. “Jeeze.... and we have tons of drinks too. Help yourself.”
ben
Following him in after making sure that his shoes were off and pushed out of the doorway - not wanting to cause any trips - Ben set the bag down on the coffee table, draping his coat over the back of the couch. "Yeah, this is mostly all candy - I can't remember, are you pro-candy corn or anti-candy corn? I bought some, but if you're anti-, I'll eat it myself." Going to sit down on the couch, he gave Tommy an affectionate smile. "Catch your breath, maybe drink some water?"
tommy
“i like it but only the orange part.” He was aware of how weird that was but he just smiled and shrugs. “I’m ok. Just got too hyped.” He laughed and reached for the sandwich he had bought for himself. “As soon as you’re ready i’ll start the movie.... and i’m apologizing in advance. The end of this movie always makes me cry. Like.... ugly sob.”
ben
"Only the orange part? It tastes the same--" That had Ben thinking about the taste of candy corn; he was pretty sure that the whole thing tasted the same. Reaching into the bag he brought, he pulled the candy corn out, taking a little bite of just the tip, then just the orange part. "Yeah, tastes the same, but whatever, man - enjoy the orange part." Pushing the bag into the center of the table, he leaned back against the couch, getting settled in. "Ready when you are. And don't worry about that - I cry during movies, too. I'm not gonna judge you at all."
tommy
“i know. But i can’t eat generic cheetos or fruity pebbles either.” He shrugged and stood up, grabbing the remote  as he flopped down beside him and started the movie. He sat like a child; knees to his chest, as he finished the sandwich and started on a bowl of chips he’d sat on the coffee table. When Victor started to play the piano, Tommy smiled softly. “God  i wish i could play the piano that nicely. I’m so out of practice....”
ben
"Cheetos are bad, but I'm not letting go of Fruity Pebbles. Those are good. I may be a grown-ass man, but I'm not trading my sugar cereal in for, like, plain Cheerios yet." Draping one arm over the back of the couch as he tried to get comfortable, Ben kept his eyes on the TV, reaching to steal a chip every so often. "Hey, at least you've got some experience. I can't do instruments. Like... at all. I suffered through music ed in school and then immediately gave up. But if you want to pick it up again, why don't you find someplace you can practice? There's gotta be somebody willing to teach you around here."
tommy
“or cornflakes.” He wrinkles his nose. “They were made for women as an anti-masterbatory food.” He paused. “It didn’t work.” He laughed. “Yeah... i guess i could. It’s my minor at school and they do have piano rooms.” He paused again. It was something to think about.
ben
"Yeah, I knew that. That Kellogg's guy was..." He whistled under his breath, shaking his head. "But some of his cereals still have merit. Like Frosted Flakes. And I genuinely like Corn Pops, too." Nodding enthusiastically, Ben bumped his shoulder against Tommy's. "Nothing's stopping you. I say go for it, man."
tommy
He laughed. “Imagine being so scared of women discovering their sexuality you try to take it away completely. Does not compute.” He grinned and turned back to the movie, eating and watching in silence until Victor accidentally proposed to the bride. “Hey did i show you my latest sketch?”
ben
"Imagine being scared of women and it being in a... like, y'know, non-sexual way. Could not be me..." he mumbled under his breath, shaking his head. Carding a hand through his own hair nonchalantly as the movie played, he kept picking at the array of snacks on the table, only looking over at Tommy when he spoke up again. "Huh? Oh - no, I don't think so. I'm down to see it, though, for sure."

looked over at Ben with a grin, planting a kiss on his temple before stretching his slender body over him to reach his bag. He pulled out his sketch pad and turned to the last page where a pencil drawing of Ben was. He passed it back to him and grinned. He hoped he wouldn’t find it creepy. He had a habit of drawing his friends and acquaintances when he was feeling down.October 8, 2020
ben
Smiling at the kiss to his temple, Ben had to resist the urge to kick his feet up on the coffee table. He could practically hear his mother's voice in his head chiding him and telling him to sit properly. Adjusting his posture slightly, he leaned more of his weight against the back of the couch, hearing his coat slip to the floor behind it. He'd grab it later. Reaching to take the sketchbook, he let his eyes adjust slightly before examining the sketch. "Oh, shit, that's me--" he muttered in astonishment. No one had ever drawn him before. "That's really good, man. Like... really good."
tommy
smiled at the compliment. “Thanks. I did it over the past few days. Drawing people helps me calm down when i’m having anxiety.” He moved to sit up before getting distracted by the film, humming softly along to the song that was playing on the tv as Victor found himself panicking in the afterlife.
ben
"I could never get proportions right in art class. All I was really good for in high school was English analysis, baseball, and... like, submission studies, but that's a whole different ballpark." Still looking down at the sketchbook, he didn't want to let it go quite yet. "But I'm glad this helps you. It's a good thing - funneling anxiety into art." Eventually drawing his attention back to the movie, he set the sketchbook down in his lap, tilting his head towards Tommy ever so slightly.
tommy
He grinned at that and shook his head. “Drawing people in the nude was how I realized I wasn’t straight,” he admitted ruefully, pushing himself up and sitting back in his spot. “Don’t feel bad though. I did your profile because i couldn’t get your second eye to look right.” He didn’t say anything else about his anxiety. “I always feel so bad for Emily. She just wants to be loved....”
ben
Smiling at that, he looked over at him. Mine was... god, was it really so long ago that I don't remember? I don't know - we went to school with a lot of handsome guys, I think. Might've been them. But it was probably a movie star." He was sure he could remember if he thought about it hard enough. "Maybe Captain Von Trapp in Sound of Music? I haven't seen that movie in ages..." Shaking his head, he decided to give up on trying to remember and pay attention to both the movie and his friend. "Well, I could draw you as a stick figure, if you want. That's about as much as I can do for you in return, though." When the conversation turned towards the movie, he nodded in agreement. "I understand that feeling... aches pretty deep inside."
tommy
He paused to think about it. “Huh.... i never thought about it. I probably had a thing for Donald o’Connor in singing in the rain. Have you seen that one? It is so much fun. Maybe next movie night should be old musicals.”  He grinned. “Captain Von Trapp js a good choice though.” He laughed. “If you draw me anything i will keep it forever.” He grew quiet and nodded. “Hurts like hell....” he ran the flat of his palm over his chest; right above his heart. He was starting to wonder if he would ever get over that feeling. If he would let it....
ben
"Oh, yeah. That was on my syllabus for my 1950s film and TV class at school. Masterpiece, honestly. But I'd be down to do a musicals night. I grew up watching them, and I feel like it's been ages since I've seen most of them. I can't even remember the last time I watched a Disney movie." Pushing a hand through his hair again, he tried to think back. He'd seen Coco in theaters - was that really the last one? "I don't have a pencil or anything, but remind me later, and I'll draw stick figure Tommy." Nodding along, Ben's fingers traced over a thread in his jeans. "Yeah..." he muttered, biting the inside of his cheek, hands trying to busy themselves in any way possible. "Sucks."
tommy
laughed. “Known a lot of them so we can pick a few and go from there.” He loved musicals and had even managed to learn the dances to a few of them, Hairspray included. “Uh.... Onward? Barley is my hero” he nudged him then got quiet. There was a lot he could say, and he trusted Ben so much. It would feel good to- “my mom disowned me when she found out i liked boys too....” he blurted before he could stop himself, his hand slapping across his mouth. He had never told anyone before and now it was out. He wished he could take it back and stuff it down his throat.
ben
"That works for me," he agreed, shifting his weight against the couch. "Did not see Onward." Tommy's next words caught him completely off-guard. He figured he should probably pause the movie to discuss this, but he couldn't find the remote. "Shit, man..." he muttered, rubbing at the back of his neck. "I'm... really sorry, if there's ever anything you need, I mean... it's not like I make a ton of money, but, like, anything else, I'd be happy to help out with... that... fucking sucks." That was the best that he could do. His heart ached for Tommy - he couldn't imagine something like that happening to him. "I'm here for you."
tommy
He felt ashamed for blurting it out like that, pausing the movie so they could finish it. He leaned over his knees and ran his hands through his hair. “I... it’s fine.... She was toxic. She was before i even got caught.... but if your own mother can’t love you why should you expect anyone else too, ya know?” He had turned to sex to heal the ache but he never allowed them to get close, get serious. What happened when they got tired and left him too? He didn’t think he could stand being abandoned again. “I’m... i dont know why i said that. I’m sorry...”
ben
"No, you don't have anything to be sorry for," he quickly piped up, not wanting Tommy to feel bad about admitting those sorts of things to him. Ben couldn't know that pain - his whole family was a rather tight-knit unit, and, while they all had their spats, they did all love each other. He couldn't imagine it being any other way. "Fuck her. You'll find somebody, some Dominant who makes you forget about all of that self-doubt. It's gonna hurt for a long, long time, but... I mean, yeah. It might hurt forever. But I don't doubt that you're gonna find somebody who loves you like you deserve."}
tommy
“i dont let people get close, Ben.... i sleep around and let them bruise me and bite me but i never stay. I leave the first chance i get.... what if something is wrong with me...?” His voice cracked and he swallowed the painful knot in his throat. “What if i never find anyone and i have to be alone...?” He met his gaze finally, tears glimmering on his lashes. “What if she broke something in me and i never get it fixed...?”
ben
The conversation was a little overwhelming, but he wouldn't admit that. Tommy needed his support - he could have his own existential crisis about dying unclaimed later. Pulling him into a hug, Ben kissed his hair, letting him hide his face. "I'm... definitely not a therapist, so I can't tell you how to safely go about this, but... have you maybe tried non-sexual submission? Just... letting somebody else be in charge for a little while?" Ben knew that he craved that pretty frequently; maybe it would help Tommy, somehow. "I don't think you're broken inside."
tommy
He presses his face into the crook of his neck, allowing himself to be taken care of even if only for a moment. “No.... i’m only good for sex. Why would anyone want me for anything else...?” There, just like that, another insecurity was out on the table. Once he started he couldn’t stop. “I just.... worry...” he finally admitted. “Youre the only person i’ve told.”
ben
"Who told you that you're only good for sex?" That would have probably destroyed Ben's self-confidence, if anyone had ever said that to him. That was part of the reason why degradation was on his list of limits. Scratching Tommy's back, he nods. "I worry, too. If that helps you. I think we all do. We all want to find our match, settle down. I promise you aren't only good for sex. I mean it - nonsexual submission is... really nice. I'm sure there're people out there willing to try it out with you." Taking deep breaths to try to get Tommy to mimic him, Ben nodded. "Well, it's our secret. I won't tell anybody."
tommy
“No one did.... that’s just how I feel... and i do it to myself because i don’t let anyone get close enough to prove otherwise.” He presses his face against Ben’s shoulder, willing himself not to cry.  “I’m just twenty-three... i have time... but i see people starting relationships and being happy and I can’t help but feel deficient....” he sighsx and sat up, ruffling his hair unhappily. “I’ll remember that though... maybe that will help...” he exhaled and tried to center himself. “Thanks, Ben....”
ben
Pushing his hand through Tommy's hair, Ben did his best to be comforting to him. He understood the way that he was feeling, understood how it could be damaging to somebody's mental health. "Dude, I'm twenty-five, I've got two years on you. So don't feel deficient or whatever, because, if you're deficient, what does that make me? You aren't deficient. You just aren't getting what you deserve." There were definitely times that Ben worried about his age, but there were other times that he remembered that people had been older than he was and found their Claim eventually. "I'm here for you. Really. If you need anything, just give me a call."October 11, 2020
tommy
He let the older boy gently pet his hair, basking kn the gentleness of his touch.  “I worry maybe i don’t deserve anything....” he admitted quietly, hand grabbing anxiously at the arm of the couch. “Thanks ben.... i didnt mean to unload on you like that.....” he exhaled. “Thanks for staying...”
ben
"I think everybody's worried about that at one point or another," he murmured in response, nodding. Ben knew that he'd had worries like that of his own. He had his own issues with body image, of what it meant to be a good submissive, of what it took to deserve love. It had taken a lot of self-love and introspection to get past it. "I don't mind. I'm here for you, like I said. I mean it."October 13, 2020
tommy
hugged Ben, perhaps for a bit too long, before sitting up and wiping his eyes. “Thanks”,” he offered an apologetic smile and started the movie up again, reaching for the caramel corn.
ben
Hugging him back, Ben kept rubbing his back, trying to ground him a little bit. When he pulled away, he nodded, adjusting the way he was sitting slightly. "Yeah, no problem, man. It's seriously no big deal. I'm here." Reaching for the bag of M&Ms he brought, he gave him a smile before turning his eyes back to the movie.
tommy
tried to forget the outburst he had just had, chomping on popcorn as the movie reached the end. He wiped his eyes again as  Emily vanished in a flock of blue butterflies and laughed. “God this movie is always such a gut punch....”
ben
"Sometimes that's a good thing, you know...? That catharsis. Being able to feel something, even when it's hard to feel things." He felt like he was rambling about nothing, hand still buried in the resealable bag of M&Ms. "Feels good to feel something."October 14, 2020
tommy
nodded. “Sometimes if i’m feeling numb i’ll watch something sad on purpose....” he admitted softly. His coping mechanisms were... honestly far from healthy but he had made them somehow work over the years.
ben
"I don't think that's the worst idea... sometimes you just need to feel something." Ben had done that at least a handful of times, but he tended to default towards his comfort movies when he was feeling off. "Have you seen Mamma Mia?"
tommy
perked up at his question. “No! But I love ABBA. What’s it about?” He sat up and turned to Ben, sitting up and sitting on the couch cross legged facing him. “I’m actually shocked i havent seen it. Meryl streep is a goddess.”
ben
"It's my comfort movie, not even gonna lie. It's about a girl who's getting married, but she doesn't know which one of three men is her dad, so she invites them all to this island in Greece to come to her wedding so she can figure out who her dad is. And they sing ABBA the whole time. And it's really good." Typically, Ben wouldn't admit to Mamma Mia being his comfort movie, but he felt like Tommy needed to have something positive to turn towards, and there was no harm in admitting it.
tommy
looked utterly delighted as Ben explained the plot of the movie, laughing at the ridiculousness of it. “I bet i will love it!” He grinned. “We can watch that one next time we have a movie day.” He bounced in his seat slightly, too excited to worry about anything a the moment
ben
Glad that he could turn Tommy's mood around, Ben smiled, nodding in agreement. "Definitely. I will never say no when someone proposes a watch party of Mamma Mia. Seriously." He'd lost track of the number of times' he'd seen it, but he didn't care - he was just glad that he could help someone else's mood improve.
