Household 25 - Priscilla comes over for dinner

Priscilla is Father Joshua's best friend. They've been right since high school when they dated, before Priscilla came out of the closet and Father Joshua picked a life of faith.

Father Joshua asked Priscilla about her plans for her wedding now that she was engaged to Zoey, her long-time long-distance girlfriend.

Priscilla mumbled something about Zoey currently traveling and a lack of plans to see each other soon.

Father Joshua didn't want to pry, except of course he did. It was sort of his job, to help people work through things and Priscilla was clearly hiding something.

Even Landon, who was also enjoying his meal, could tell something was up.

"You know you can tell me," Father Joshua prompted.

"Zoey is travelling for a while, to hopefully cure her wanderlust before she settles down here with me. I can't travel so much with the farm. My trips to Three Lakes are enough of a challenge."

Father Joshua listened and didn't say anything, but he could tell his best friend was pretty unhappy. Not how one is supposed to feel about an engagement.

Being approached by Priscilla Northwest of all people hadn’t exactly been what Tristan expected to happen when he decided to crash the engagement party. While technically the event was being held for their daughter, no one knew the truth of the younger girl’s relation to Tramp and given everything happening with the rest of his children, he was perfectly content to keep things that way. So it’s not as if Priscilla had to worry about him running around dropping their decades kept secret. As far as the rest of the community was aware, he was simply just a pseudo uncle to the bride to be - and it wasn’t out of the ordinary for a kind-of uncle to attend his nieces’ engagement event. But obviously Priscilla thought differently, since she all but threatened to have him arrested if he didn’t leave. It was only thanks to her quick addition of requesting they meet at a later point that Tristan agreed to go quietly, rather than making a scene for the sheer sake of it.

The knock on his apartment door was the signal that said later point in time was finally here, a few weeks after the party. Opening up with a classic Tramp smirk on his face that only grew at the obvious disdain in the blonde’s own expression, Tristan took a step back and beckoned Priscilla to enter. The place was surprisingly well put together, especially for a man that had returned from the dead, but it was one of Oogie’s hiding spots - so none of the credit could really go to Tristan. “Look at us. Sneaking around just like old times. Did you really miss me that much? I know it’s been awhile since we had a good go at it, but hey, I can’t blame you for still thinking about it all these years. I’d be lying if I said I haven’t done the same thing.” He knows his little speech is just going to piss the blonde off even more, but that’s exactly what he wants to do. Nothing was better or hotter than a riled up Priscilla Northwest.

Justin Moore - Stray Dog

So today on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would like to talk about the latest album from Country Music Singer Justin Moore. The new album is titled "Stray Dog" and was released on May 5th, 2023. So let's talk about the career of Justin Moore for a little bit before we dive into the new album.

Justin has brought us such hits like "If Heaven wasn't so far away", "Small town USA", & "Why we drink". Other hits from Justin are songs like "Til my last day", "The ones that didn't make it back home", & "Bait a hook". Justin has scored 6 number ones on my weekly list MSR (Midnight Star Report). My weekly list combines both CMT (Country Music Television), the Billboard Country Music Airplay Charts, & even myself. The list used to include GAC (Great American Country) until the list officially retired at the end of 2018. But let's talk about 8 track album up next before we dive too far off track.

The lead single from the album was "With a woman you love" which already went number one. And the next single is "You, me, and whiskey" with Priscilla Block which is currently in the top 20 songs on the weekly lists. Other songs you should check out are "Everybody get along" with Riley Green which mentions both Hank Williams, & Waylon Jennings, & the title track "Stray dogs". The stand out tracks in my opinion are "That wasn't Jack", & "Better slow". and Justin co-wrote 7 out of 8 tracks and even had help from David Lee Murphy. Here is the rest of the track list now.

And that's a wrap for the track list. And on the MSR (Midnight Star Review), I would give this album a 3.5 out of 5 stars. The biggest hate I would have for the album is only 8 tracks. COMPANIONS: current pets.

priscilla has regularly taken companionship in animals, primarily dogs. her current two are a pair of dobermanns, rosa and otto.

rosa was a gift given to priscilla when she was a pup, one that she took to quickly. named after the sheer fact that as a pup, she enjoyed flowers and roses in particular, often delicately picking them up in her jaws and running about with her latest prize. rosa is a five-year-old female with the perfect training and unwavering loyalty, often seen at priscilla's side awaiting a command no matter what it is. like many of her breed, she is a guard dog and is trained as such. no leash is required when walking out in public due to how brilliantly trained rosa is. despite being a larger-than-average doberman, she is incredibly gentle and affectionate, often nudging and pawing at people for attention. in her lifetime, rosa has only had one litter and that consisted of a single pup, uncommon for the breed, that was kept by priscilla who couldn't bare the idea of separating mother and son.

otto is the only pup of rosa, roughly six months old and full of energy. unlike his mother, he's still largely untrained despite knowing a few basic tricks, such as sit and stay but is actively being trained to reach the same level as his mother. still leash bound for the moment, he's excitable, playful and incredibly friendly around people, often wishing to run about and play. he's fond of children, copying his mother's behaviour in nudging and pawing them but with loud whining and crying. he loves people. being a single pup he's incredibly close to his mother, often following her about and learning much from her by watching. it's suspected that he might be the same size or larger than his mother, considering that his paws are huge, and has shown to share many traits with hers. such as natural curiousity, playfulness, and intelligence. but he's young and still learning.
