oh right! i started playing wadanohara and the great blue sea! it's the same kinda setup as end roll but a lot less horror-y. it's also super cute, so here's some of the screenshots from that so far!

Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea is an RPG Maker 2000 game by Deep-Sea Prisoner. The game was first released in 2013, followed by a manga adaptation between 2015 and 2018 and an updated re-release named the reboot in 2020.

Uomihime is a supporting character in the game and rules the Blue Sea, home to Wadanohara and her friends. The Totsusa Kingdom attacks the Blue Sea during the first half of the story before it's revealed that the war is a ploy for one of Mikotsuhime's followers to unseal her. Mikotsuhime was once a member of the Blue Sea along with her followers, but her jealousy of Uomihime for being chosen by their father to rule in his place corrupted her into the ruler of the Sea of Death.

I recommend playing the reboot, checking the bonus content after the true ending, and reading the manga. I like the manga best because it has expressive artwork and fleshes out several characters compared to the game.

I remembered having a Kid Icarus/Wadanohara and the Great Blue Sea crossover idea where Uomihime and Mikotsuhime fulfil the roles of Palutena and Medusa respectively.

Now I hate to say this because I love your enthusiasm, but I have no idea what that other media is or who those characters are. Though I’m happy to learn more!
