Happy 61st birthday to Prince Edward, Duke of Edinburgh!

Born on 10 March 1964, Edward Antony Richard Louis is the youngest child of Queen Elizabeth I and Prince Philip, and the youngest sibling of King Charles III. Edward is currently 13th in line of succession to the British throne.

He married Sophie Rhys-Jones in 1999 and the couple has two children: Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor (21) and James Mountbatten-Windsor, Earl of Wessex (17). Edward was made Earl of Wessex prior to his wedding and Earl of Forfar in 2019; his brother King Charles Ill made him Duke of Edinburgh on his 59th birthday.
