clearing up the 3 most common misconceptions i see in the epic fandom bc a surprising amount of ppl dont know that these arent true

1 the suitors were there for the 10 years odysseus was trying to get home— NOPE!! the suitors only arrived a few years before the events of wisdom saga, somewhere around when telemachus was 17 ish.

2 penelope was weaving the shroud for 20 or 10 years— nuh uh. both of these numbers are wrong. she was weaving the shroud for like 5 years max

3 the suitors are much older than telemachus (30s-40s)— LOUD INCORRECT BUZZER!!!!! the trojan war started 20 years ago, meaning the OLDEST suitor would be in his early 30s (and that is being generous). the majority would be 25 and under. if the suitors were any older than that they wouldve been a soldier in the trojan war and wouldve been looong dead

Made this back in October last year, shortly after checking out THE OLDEST VIEW by Kane Pixels alongside my beloved friends. Having seen that the rolling giant is based on a real statue and that his hands were leaves really ignited my imagination. Had a good time drawing this!

My young little goddess is going to help this being come back to life .... or something, I do not know.

you're a diver from Fontaine, one of the best in the entire Court, and are known far and wide for your ability to collect whatever resource people need- that's where most of your pay comes from, collecting beryl conches and romaritime flowers for jewelry, perfumes, and the like. but you also enjoy diving as a hobby, spending most of your time off in the water and enjoying the sights, your Vision allowing you to breathe easily under the waves. there's something about floating weightlessly in oceanic world that helps you feel so calm and at peace.

it's during one of these leisurely dives that you encounter something- or someone- incredible.

you won't lie, you were swimming too close to the Fortress of Meropide. yes, it's technically forbidden, but you couldn't help but investigate the deeper waters and caves around it after so long of staying away from the area! as long as you stayed away from the searchlights, no one would suspect a thing, so you swam down into the murky gloom. it's more difficult to see as you cautiously glance around, slightly on edge- until you come face-to-face with an oddly glowing light, seemingly emitting from a faceted crystal. you don't dare go towards it (you've had enough experience with ocean creatures to know it very well could be a lure), so instead it decides to come towards you, and an enormous slinking creature is revealed from the darkness. your blood runs cold, all instincts screaming to get away, run, but the monster merely chitters curiously, tilting his horned head and blinking at you quietly.

hesitantly, you raise a hand and wave, and the beast's singular eye widens in awe as he waves back.

you come back to visit the odd creature again and again after that day, becoming adept at avoiding the lights of Fontaine's prison. the monster- Childe, as he told you via carvings on the wall- was incredibly sweet despite his intimidating appearance, greeting you with a delighted chirp and a hug, always extremely gentle with you. he follows you as you explore, protecting you and bringing you trinkets that have sunk to the ocean floor, nudging your hands for head scritches. through his gestures and warbling tones you deduce that he lives in a cavern further below, one you refuse to go to- it makes your skin crawl, for some reason. rarely does Childe come to the surface, but occasionally he'll accompany you if he doesn't want to see you go, wrapping his scaled tail around your legs and whining until you give him a kiss on the forehead. he loves you, and you love him, and he was your special secret.

until you began to fall mysteriously ill, your breaths coming out short and ragged and your head filling with cotton clouds. at first you think it's just a common cold, but it doesn't go away, only getting worse over time. the doctors you visit don't seem to have a cure, merely telling you to rest until you feel better, which you never do, no matter how many hours you sit on the shore with Childe's head in your lap. his worry for you makes you feel a little happier, caressing his cheeks and whispering hoarsely to him as he whimpers, claws dancing over your cheeks in an attempt to hold you back. but it hurts and you cough again and again, growing weaker by the day for no reason other than fate's cruel story.

you don't know that Childe is a monster from the Primordial Sea, gradually wearing away at your strength and life, until it's too late.

Could you should show who the other ancient’s legendary parents are because this has got to me so intrigued into this I want to know everything

No problemo!!

So first up we have Golden Cheese.

Now why Timekeeper? Well I had the idea, since Golden Cheese basically created a whole digital world that was described as “Untarnished by Time itself” by Burnt Cheese. I thought having powers of Timekeeper would be fitting :3

Next we have White Lily.

So, for anyone who didn’t know, Primordial Light is Moonlight’s Legendary Costume in Ovenbreak.

In this AU, Primordial Light is a completely separate cookie. In fact, Primordial Light also created Moonlight in this (So yes that would make Moonlight and White Lily related. I have more info on that with the other legendaries as well.)

I got this idea mostly from White Lily’s Legendary costume in kingdom. The butterflies that surround her and all that. Along with the Labyrinth of Remembrance, Sugar Glass, the Butterfly/Fae motif as a whole.

I should probably mention, I never had Dark Enchantress implemented into this AU. This AU mostly focuses on The Beasts vs The Ancients. (I’ll get into that later.)

Getting back on track….

Finally we got Hollyberry and ohhh boy.

I’ll be honest I didn’t have too much of an idea. The only thing I was going off of was that I wanted Hollytaya to be in it LOL.

So I came up with this!

Longan is like the parent dragon to the other 4 dragons. (Oldest to Youngest: Lotus, Ananas, Pitaya, Lychee)

So when Hollyberry married Pitaya, she inherited some of their power.

I hope some of this made sense but I have A LOT MORE, to do with this AU still. THANK YOU for asking about it!!! Hope you all like it!! :D

is there any evidence/info for the void dragon being a primordial, or are they just an extremely powerful entity?

my more specific goal for this question is, would void magic be possible if somehow the void dragon died?

Judging on the information given during the Void Dragon’s initial encounter, probably!

Likely Magic is possible with elemental channels to the soul of any sufficiently powerful creature out in space since both the Dragons and the Primordials can be used as a way to use Magic.

As for being a Primordial, I think it’s a matter of opinion. Primordial is more mythological term than a Taxonomical one in the setting.

KIDDE | キドー (PRIMARY LOOKS)

What you're looking at is Kidde's main reference, first being made on November 2021, to December 2022, then on July 2023.

Retrospective thoughts under the cut!

It's - kind of wild to see not just the overall visual improvement of her reference overall, but to also behold the evolution of her being.

Initially, she was very mysterious to me when I created her first ever reference - not one for much conversation, very spacey, dainty and frail in form. I learned quickly that she was definitely some sort of goddess in disguise but had no idea what of really. Essentially, she kind of lacked a personality pretty much.

In 2022's reference, much more of Kidde became known to me - she is THE Primordial Moth and an ancient soul from a past iteration of my Paracosm (more on that another day). And literally - she is my daughter; the embodiment of who is to become my firstborn child someday (apologies if i sound whack there; it's very personal.). While she was still overall quiet, she developed hobbies, preferences, and overall becoming quite elegant, as reflected with her lowered eyes.

Now come 2023 .... Kidde is a fully-fledged person at this point. Her eyes developed more life as I learned more about her - her fears, her dislikes, her personal thoughts and opinions on things. Now! SHE SPEAKS! She speaks lackadaisically, or speaks bold statements ever so calmly, or speaks with great conviction for those who can't speak up - a fledgling goddess sharing the ways of mortalhood to other D. Souls and also enjoying said life alongside her precious M. Soul friends. She knows how to fight, she's learning to gain her own Karma - yet she is still very cute, very moth-like .... but also developing well as a little goddess and daughter of me, THE HOST.

Speaking as both her creator and mother, I'm genuinely excited to see how she continues to develop and grow as we move into 2024. ♥
