More than half a million hectares of agricultural land in [Kharkiv Oblast] are currently contaminated. This is a third of the total area of arable land in the region. As of October, only about 8,500 hectares have been cleared of mines. To realize the scale, there are still more than 565,000 hectares to be cleared. That is, only 1.5% of the total amount has actually been cleared. This data can be extrapolated to the national scale. Everything rests on the lack of resources and people. The state's priority is still operational demining.

A reminder that United 24 has fundraisers for demining.

Prevail also works with local authorities to help clear landmines and other unexploded ordnance (UXO) as well as provide training.

A pretty good track in my opinion, and for a time one of my go to songs when listening to Swollen Members. It has since been a bit left behind, mostly as I listen to other tracks that I find to be more enjoyable to listen. Like I said, it's pretty good, but I just like others more.

I like the beat, I like the lyrics, I like the flow. Overall, I can say it can be a good introductory track to Swollen Members, as they are a bit more alternative in a sense than other fellow Canadian hip-hop acts.

Despite ongoing power cuts, Prevail managed to start training 60 members of KORD (Rapid Operational Response Unit) from the National Police of Ukraine. Students take classes on recognizing mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO), explosive theory, and self-extraction from mined areas.

we cry "the innocent women and children" to appeal to the masses, to try and force their sympathy, but the men and boys are innocent too.

I have seen sons crying out for their mothers, their fathers, their siblings. I have seen them break down at the loss of their families. I have seen them cling to their dead and grieve.

I have seen fathers cradle their dead children, seen them kiss their faces and hold their little hands. I have seen them faint with grief when asked to identify the dead. I have seen them carry their sons and daughters. I have seen them fasting to provide what little they can for their families.

I have seen men and boys digging through the rubble with just their bare hands, I have seen them comforting strangers, playing with children, rocking them, hushing them, even if the face of such imminent danger. I have seen them cry, seen them grieve, seen them break down into each other's arms, seen them be selfless, beyond selfless, becoming something I don't have a word for.

I have seen the men who are doctors refuse to leave their patients, even when they have no medicine or supplies to give them, even when they're threatened with bombings. I have seen fathers who have lost all their children pick orphans up into their arms and proclaim them their child so they are not alone. I have seen men and boys digging pets out of the rubble.

Your memories are vague and swirling, they mix together in ways that are both unhelpful and revealing .

There's the more recent memory vomiting over the side of a wall your friend ties your hair back but it shifts before u can focus fully,

Your sister, you vomit into the toilet from more natural reasons than somewhat self-induced ones. She gives you a pillow for your knees so they don't hurt against the bathroom floor, who knows how long you'll be there, or how long you already have been. Were you in the upstairs bathroom? rather than the attic one in order to not wake up your other sister?, she ties back your hair, you don't know if she actually did or if that memory has mixed with the previous one.

It shifts again as you feel a wave of nausea come over you, you think back to earlier that day, standing on the Luas trying to will the feeling away then another memory,

Hazy, your friends tongue in your mouth she's just as drunk as you if not a little more , you've never kissed anyone before and you're unclear as to whether it's the kissing or the alcohol making you feel nauseous, you try to remember more of what happened but your memory switches on you,

You're younger in this one, young enough for your Dad to have picked you up from school after you threw up. You tell him and your sister, also being picked up the feeling you get before vomiting. "My cheeks start hurting", your sister pokes ur cheek, hard, your Dad gives out, you think, the memory is too faded for you to fully know if that actually happened or not but it's something that you think would've happened,

Your mind shifts back to the present. You've school in the morning and English homework you haven't finished but you told your Ma you did, it won't hurt her as much as any other lie you've said will (or already has) the nauseous feeling is mostly gone, enough to sleep at least, enough to sleep.
