A little continuation in my Gabriella lives au that already happened here and here.

So my another little headcanon, besides that Miguel is awkwardly attempting here to sorta adopt Gwen and is trying to figure out how to convince her to go back to school, is the night routine.

So Miguel (who read too many parenting guides* to catch up quickly and not fuck up this precious child) strongly believes in leading by example. So since he wants Gabriella to have good sleeping habits after her nightly routine he also goes to sleep at sensible hour. But he can't sleep through whole night so when he wakes up at ungodly hour he does some light work not to wake up her.

Then he prepares breakfast and bento (he totally had to learn to cook, you can't convince me otherwise) and with time he started having a little fun with it and then it became kinda hobby. It helps him wind down so that after he sends Gabriella to school he is actually able to take an extra 1-2 hour nap.

(* as in parenting guides for child of Gabriella age, totally clueless what to do with a traumatized teenager but after the denial he probably will do the homework)

A few days had gone by.. the regular ol happenings as per usual.. Expendables being sent in, dying for dumb reasons or even overconfidence, pretty basic. As he was glaring over trackers and what not, he would eventually notice that Eyefestation was actually.. slowly drifting... away from the black site........ Swimming in a seemingly random direction...

The usual happenings of the Black Site gave a air of calm, HQ relaxing as his eyes flickered through screens and the trackers, and all seemed normal.. everyone was in/ around Black Site, one was drifting away, the trench bleeders weren't acting out - wait.

HQ sat up straight, clicking into the trackers and watched as Eyefestations tracker started to drift away from the site, watching in confusion.. was.. was the bull shark finally deciding to leave?

While it was never tethered to the Site, it was agreed upon by all staff and EXR-P that no one thought it would never leave - so HQ kept his eyes on the shark, watching as it started to explore and travel.

Since you can read minds (though, that is what I think), and considering the amount of prisoners that like being around Sebastian so much, why don’t you use his voice? Like, at all?

Being a special operator for Urbanshade definitely had its perks, especially with a communicator snugly in your ear, guiding you through the shadows of the hadal blacksite.

As you stepped out of the submarine, the tight diving suit clung to your curves, accentuating every line.

“Looking good out there, sunshine.” A raspy male voice purred in your ear, teasing you just enough to make your heart race. “That suit is a perfect fit for my favorite girl.” You could almost feel the cameras in the area zooming in on you, their lenses hungry for every detail.

Rolling your eyes, you fought to suppress a smile. “Enjoy the show.” You shot back, knowing he could hear the hint of playful defiance in your tone.

Your fiancé was more than just your navigator, he was your secret motivator, sending those sultry comments your way, making this lonely lockdown just a little more exciting.

“Just don’t get too distracted, darling.” He chuckled, the warmth of his voice wrapping around you like a familiar embrace. “You’ve got a job to do.”

You moved through the dimly lit corridors of the blacksite, the eerie silence amplifying the adrenaline coursing through your veins. “I’m focused.” You replied, keeping your tone light. “Just enjoying the view… though it’s a little lacking without you here.”

His laughter echoed in your ear, a teasing reminder of his presence despite the miles of ocean between you. “I could make the view a lot better. Just imagine me watching from the control room, cheering you on.”

“More like distracting me.” You shot back, your heart racing at the thought. “But I guess I could use some motivation.”

“Motivation, huh? I might have to send you a few more… personal messages to keep you on your toes.” He replied, a mischievous edge in his voice.

You smirked, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks. “Just try not to get too carried away. I’m still on a mission here.”

“Sure, sure. But I can’t help but picture you in that suit, moving like a shadow through the depths. You know you look incredible.”

His words sent a thrill down your spine, a mix of pride and anticipation. “Flattery won’t get you out of doing the dishes when I get back.” You retorted, unable to hide your smile.

“Fair enough.” He replied, his voice low and sultry. “But once you’re back, I expect a proper celebration. Just you, me, and some very private… missions of our own.”

You bit your lip, heart racing at the thought. “Now that’s a promise I can get behind.”

As you navigated the empty halls, the excitement of the task ahead blended seamlessly with the anticipation of what awaited you both once the mission was over.
