My doctor was very proud of me and said I did a fantastic job because apparently people don’t usually lose that much in one week. I think it’s probably more than 4.5lbs though because period weight but who knows. I’ll be on vacation for two weeks and not sure I will weigh myself at my folks or not. I haven’t even told them I’m on weight loss meds I suppose I probably should or Mom will worry about how little I’m eating. I need to get some protein shakes though, my doctor said it’s very important to get more protein and since I do intermittent fasting on top of the Wegovy it’s especially important since I physically can’t eat a sufficient amount of protein in one sitting. Don’t worry though she said it was perfectly ok for me to keep doing the fasting but to just add a protein shake. Premier protein has a caramel popcorn flavor that sounds awesome so I will try that one I think.

I’m kind of mad I went back to campus for nothing - but I am glad I got a lot of reading out of it. I am seriously enjoying The Song of Achilles it is such a good and different read than what I usually pick up. The stress of this week is starting to pick up, and I really don’t like it because I know I’ll be burnt out and feel awful by Friday. I really like (G)I-DLE’s comeback!! However, I’ve liked every release from them besides Senorita so it’s to be expected from me to like them!

Could've done better today, but it wasn't terrible. I've had that lollipop for months and I just felt like having it finally, and the hot cocoa was a Christmas gift from my mom that I wanted to use up while we actually have some cool weather for a second. I just can't wait to feel like I'm in an average body at least, not a chubby one. Then I can worry about getting actually skinny. Right now I still look fat.

Day 5 of the Liquid Diet!
Today started off well when I weighed in and saw I lost another 3 pounds, marking nearly 10 pounds gone in 5 days.
At this rate I’ll lose 60 pounds by the time my 30 day liquid diet is up!!
But let’s be real, we all know it won’t be that successful. Honestly, I’m not even sure I know how much weight I am aiming to lose in these 30 days, I’m just going to let this journey take me wherever it takes me.
Anyway, today was super easy again. I weighed in this morning (May 25) at 247.2. For breakfast I had a caramel premiere protein shake (160cal) frothed and topped with three shots of espresso to make a hot caramel macchiato. For lunch and dinner I had a chocolate fairlife nutrition plan protein shake (150cal each). I had a afternoon snack of a sugar free popsicle (15cal) and for an evening snack I had a sugar free jello (10cal). As usual I’ve also drank a ton of water today to help keep full.
I’m hoping that my weight goes down another 3 pounds tomorrow, but I’m not holding my breath.

Protein shake coffee isn’t bad, thanks TikTok. Basically it’s just using a protein shake as creamer in your coffee so I’m using Premier Protein’s Salted Caramel Popcorn in my Bones Salty Siren (aka salted caramel mocha). I’m slowly losing weight which it’s supposed to be slow and steady so that’s good. I need to get back to working out, it got derailed when I went out of town and then had medical stress and was sick. I know excuses. I didn’t have a loss my bday week because I was bad and ate cake, but I didn’t gain either so I’ll take it.

And a few days! 
The last two mornings I have been enjoying a decaf instant coffee. I fill the cup half full, and then fill the rest with caramel Premier protein shake! (Example here on my instagram)  It is delicious and helps get my protein in so I don’t feel like I’m just wasting time not getting in enough calories/protein!  The surgeon said at my 3 week check in that he wants to see me eating more calories, at least 700 a day, before I can start doing even a light workout. I am walking everyday, maybe more than 30 minutes, and going beyond the activity I used to be able to before without pushing myself. 
I am able to clean up around the house, which makes me happy and today my biggest task of all since surgery: doing laundry by myself. Now I live in an apartment so I’ll have to cart my laundry downstairs, and I am not sure if I have the energy yet. Luckily all of my clothes are fitting better and I still have some that are clean! 
Yesterday, I got in 400 calories and 60g of protein. The Bariatric Clinic recommends that I get in 70g-100g of protein per day.! I am still drinking lots of protein shakes until next week when I can eat more solid foods. I am nervous for this stage because I haven’t puked yet and don’t want to start vomiting either!  
I just love Pinterest because it is so great for recipes and has a lot of Bariatric friendly recipes as well! I tried one on there for lunch, the pureed egg salad, and it did not agree with my stomach. I didn’t like the bloated feeling I had for the rest of the day after that!
I am very proud of myself, I baked cookies, froze them all, and am taking them to an event next week!  YES they looked good, but I didn’t need one so I just kept on baking and freezing until I had enough for my event, two dozen cookies! I would have eaten six in my past life. My friend once told me, you have a bite of your own baking, that’s it, you want more! Just like “I bet you can’t have just one chip” - Lays.
3 weeks after Surgery, I made it! I started the process to get surgery in November 2017, and now I am here. A day after Surgery, I didn’t know if it would be worth it, and sometimes I still think..did I make the right choice? But only time will tell and I sure am loving the results! I am certain that this will keep me motivated and on track for the rest of my life. 
Good luck to anyone going for surgery, who has had surgery or is considering surgery! You are amazing. You’re going to learn and discover more about yourself during this whole process.
