Analysis time!!!!
(I'm bored! So here's me being completely sane about the possibility of a Boothill boss fight)
He'd have to have physical weakness, maybe also ice and.... lightning?
And there should definitely be 2 phases!
As an ally he's only does single attacks, able to trap a single enemy in a standoff
Maybe as an enemy he can also trap an ally in standoff so they can only attack him and the damage received might increase for both
Don't forget that his left arm is literally a freaking gun so maybe that's a heavier and more damaging attack
He also gains victories/ pocket trickshots as an ally, maybe as an enemy that could make his attacks more dangerous (instead of increasing energy) and allies would have to prevent him from gaining them?
Would he be able to hit more than one target as an enemy, maybe that could be for phase 2?
If not, would he be the only enemy in the boss fight, he's definitely the type to fight solo, Aventurine fought solo but even then, he could attack multiple targets and also that freaking dice roll phase!! Argenti could also attack multiple targets and had the help of damage boost and protective shields. Boothill is unpredictable though so who knows what tricks he'd have up his sleeves...

okay look, calming down - i understand why some people would want zelda to be a protagonist in like a totk-style 3d zelda. that would be great! the reason i predicted 2d for playable zelda is because its a smaller gamble for nintendo - imo, its realistically what we could get. especially at the end of the switch' life cycle AND so soon after totk.
BUT i'm very happy, for a few reasons:
1. it IS mainline zelda. its not called "triforce heroes" or "tingle's rosy rupeeland", its not a peach-style spinoff or side game. its a real zelda game. its called THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: ECHOES OF WISDOM. that alone, giving the mainline zelda brand prestige to this, IS a risk. and its one i super appreciate nintendo taking!!!
2. i disagree that just because it has the links awakening toy-style aesthetic, that automatically makes it a "lesser" or unserious game. links awakening IS a good game! its some peoples favorite! it added interesting lore to the zelda series, its a canon part of the timeline, its mechanically fun, and it has the fun psychological element of analyzing it in terms of links feelings about the dream. like how even the boss monsters are fearful of "dying", begging link not to destroy the island. which of course isn't "real" since its a dream, but its interesting that link would THINK that. also, marin 💔
3. like i said in the prediction post, this could be understood as a testfire for the concept. IF its as successful as any other 2d zelda game (and thats a big if! i already see people calling it more niche or for babies. i hope that doesnt catch on too much and depress hype 😞), maybe nintendo WILL see it as less of a gamble to make zelda the protagonist in a full-on, "serious" 3d title. nintendo is, after all, a business. trying it out with a smaller game makes total sense.
Tumblr media
also... it looks like a good game? when a link between worlds was released, everyone thought the wall merging ability was brilliant and a great way to turn 2d zelda into a more unique experience.
this, to me, looks to have similar potential!! the fact that zelda can essentially order enemies to fight for her and use her environment to think of intelligent solutions to any problem is very in-character! it's fitting both for a princess and for the bearer of the triforce of wisdom.
also, its not just building/environment traversal! she does fight!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
idk y'all, this looks like a great time to me! i don't know why people would presume its any "lesser" than any other 2d zelda... when we've literally seen another 2d zelda with this exact artstyle. and its an original game!! its not a remake!! :D

I wanted to make a last-minute prediction post based on what I’ve seen so far. I haven’t looked at new Dragon Age news for the past couple (3? 4?) weeks, and I know I’m (on purpose to avoid spoilers) missing some (probably a lot of) details that other people already know. I DON’T WANT TO KNOW. So if I’m already right or wrong about something,
PLEASE please DON’T TELL ME.
You can come back in a month and tell me THEN. It’s just one more month to wait.
Also, this is just for fun, and it’s not serious. It’s based on vibes and also based on what I would write myself. I have developed a surprisingly specific image of what might happen to Solas and I’m just want to write it down.
I’m thinking “there is no possible way this is right………” but then I’m like “unless…..?” so a vague chance of potential spoilers
First, I’ve been suspicious about the elven gods getting free and Solas being trapped. If you think about what Solas says in Trespasser, it’s very
Part of Solas’ aim that has so far been revealed to us is he likely wants the Veil torn down, and one of the only things that is keeping him from that is the reality of the elven gods trapped in there, who would be released.
Inquisitor: “If you destroyed the Veil, wouldn’t the false gods be freed?”
Solas: “I had plans.”
But that is no longer a concern from that moment in the gameplay trailer where they are released.
“I intend to restore them. Doing so will most likely destroy your world.”
Two elven gods rampaging across Thedas sounds like the kind of “the world is being destroyed” situation Solas was talking about. It is his incision that breached their prison, and it isn’t impossible that Rook may have been almost manipulated into completing it. I wonder if Solas is playing his two sets of enemies against each other yet again?
In the old tales, Solas uses his enemies to fight each other while he is tied to a tree, trapped. He gives both sides equal advice until they are both defeated, at which point he frees himself and finishes what he set out to do.
Honestly, even though he’s “trapped,” it sounds exactly like the sort of thing that needs to happen for his work to continue.
(All of this is speculation that I think I’ll have a better idea about once I hear the full first conversation with him, and exactly how he words his point of view of what happened. If he’s very squirrelly in his wording, I’ll know he may have caused it on purpose.)
“I seek regeneration,” he said in Vows & Vengeance. The devs had said that Solas has been bringing back magic for centuries before the series even started. Perhaps it explains why the dragons have returned. It seems that his reshaping the world, regenerating it, will be successful because it seems to be moving steadily without him. So maybe this is a last and, once in motion, inevitable step in “healing” the injured world.
I think that the elven gods are very scary and world-ending, but Solas is the only one of them that reshaped the world successfully. He will be the one to do it again, not Ghilan’nain or Elgar’nan or any other god. He is a trickster his, and Tricksters are the Gods of Inevitable (otherwise catastrophic) Change.
One of the greatest criticisms of Inquisition was the lack of screen time Corypheus had. And how the climax fell flat at the end because he didn’t have enough screen time. This leads me to believe that Solas may be the “Last Boss” of DA4. Because we definitely HAVE a complicated satisfying personal relationship with him that has been set up for two whole games.
So the ending for Solas needs to do a lot of things:
“These are the times in which legends are born or slain” Solas as the Dread Wolf will die
It needs to work for both people who love and hate Solas
In order to defeat the Elven Gods, Rook has to find their weakness, which is Solas’ weakness too (maybe a fatal flaw, or how they can be truly killed) so it can be used on Solas too. Perhaps this will involve Solas trying to obscure this from Rook as best as he can
Solas fully is on Rook’s side against the evanuris, but when they’re taken care of, he doesn’t need to team up anymore
I don’t believe that you will be able to stop Solas’ plans, and I hope that they will change Thgedas’ world no matter what. I hope it’s just a fact of life that the Veil comes down
The story basically needs to involve Solas betraying Rook again, because new players need to experience that feeling in order to be in the same place with him as they were in DA3
It needs to give players a torn situation about him, one that makes you feel he’s reasonable but at the same time make it satisfying to fight him. So I believe this is why he will betray the player again, even if he is getting along with them.
I believe there needs to be a boss fight against Solas because he does have a cool big monster form and people have been promised to be able to kill him
It needs to be satisfying for those who romanced him too, but it also needs to be beautifully sad because part of the draw of the romance compared to all the others in the series is that it’s beautifully sad
For that reason, I suspect (not because I particularly want this to happen, I’m just saying what I see most likely) is that fighting and killing Solas may not actually be optional, and he is killed in every worldstate. This way, everyone gets a last boss fight and everyone experiences pretty much the same story without much branching
I think the difference between friendly and unfriendly version may be whether he is brought back to life by the efforts of those who care about him after he is killed
So basically:
Veil comes down/magic comes back
Solas helps Rook take down evanuris
Solas betrays Rook when it seems the story should be over
Boss fight with Solas as the Dread Wolf (see: my Tulpa Theory)
Solas is defeated and killed
Story ends there if Solas is hated, (story about Rook getting revenge)
If Solas is loved, Solas is brought back and rebirthed in another freer form through a spirit ritual, perhaps as Wisdom, but some part of it is bittersweet like Rose and Doctor 10 (story about regret).
But basically, no matter how Solas and Lavellan’s story ends, their love enduring will be the path to joy, or them being together. Rook can kill Solas and Lavellan can bring him back. Even if it has to just happen off-screen or in fanfic.
I think it is very likely that Solas kills Varric or another character as a way to transition from passive threat to active threat. Or maybe Rook is responsible because of the theme of regret, idk. But I think we’ll get a great cathartic end for Varric probably.
I think we may have to choose between Varric and the Inquisitor, because it’s similar to the Hawke-Alistair choice
I would be very surprised if the story ended with Solas and Lavellan went off into the sunset together in a perfectly happy ending with nothing bittersweet. But sadly, I don’t really see this happening and I think bittersweet may be the name of the game.
Other things I predict:
We can assume that the Inquisitor will have an optional death scenario when they reappear, where we choose either to let them sacrifice themselves in some way, or save them. So perhaps there is an ending where Solas and Lavellan die together and can be free as spirits, which would also be bittersweet.
I don’t really have predictions for anything but Solas, so the big lore reveals might change the situation so much that none of this applies or makes sense anymore. In which case I will probably be HAVING FUN.
I am not EXPECTING any of this to happen, I am just writing it down and posting it in case I’m right. Anyway please wait until I’m done playing to tell me if I’m right or wrong, and this is just for fun, I wouldn’t mind if the whole game was completely different.

Open requests you say?
I have two but I’ll start with the one that’s more predictable of me, I beg you for feral R/n putting Graves in the hospital/the aftermath of that bc fuck that man
This is purely fuelled from my hatred of Graves so do what you want with this 🫧
A/N: Imagine a deep voice...Calling it:
The injury- Philip Graves
A shadow: So boss, how'd you end up in here?
Graves, who is in a hospital bed: 141's Grim, that fucker did-
The nurse walks in with a bouquet of black flowers: A friend left these
Note on the flowers: Enjoy the rest, I'm sure you'll need time to recover and after you do, I'll fucking do it again - Grim XOXO
Shadow: Sir, what's wrong?
Graves: fucking throw this for me
-Flashback-
Soap: You are a betraying fucking-
Grim runs and tackles Graves. Began to punch him, and bit his ankle by accident, almost blackout from how angry they were.
Graves is screaming and trying to fight you off, but no one does anything instead they stand there and watch. Ghost records the whole thing for potential blackmail, you are laughing and are creeping out the kids who wanted to visit base.
Your fist to his face and he blacked out.
-End of Flashback-
Shadow: Sir?
Graves: Never ask me about that day.

lewis hamilton is interviewed during the press conference on media day, canada - june 6, 2024 (transcript under the cut)
Interviewer: "Lewis, let's come to you now. Back to the scene of your first Forula 1 victory and six subsequent ones, as well. You've always gone well here. What is it about this place?" Lewis: "I don't know. Hi, everyone. I think it's probably just kind of a street circuit, and a bit like a go kart track-long straights-so it's a track that bodes well for late brakers, and someone that's aggressive, I guess; aggressive driving style." Interviewer: "And is that you?" Lewis: "I think I've had an aggressive driving style for a long time, yeah." Interviewer: "Look, tell us about the car and your chances this weekend. The team is telling us that you're making a lot of progress in recent races. Are you feeling that in the cockpit?" Lewis: "Yes. Yeah, the car's continuing to improve. I think everyone's obviously taking that step hopefully closer to the Red Bulls, and I think that's been really positive. But incredibly proud of everyone back at the factory, just how hard everyone's working and how resilient everyone is, and everyone's just staying very focused, head down, and the morale's really great in the team, so I'm hoping that we can get closer to these guys and start actually competing at the front with these." Interviewer: "Do you think that's actually possible this weekend? Is a podium on the horizon?" Lewis: "I don't think it's far away, and so we've got the upgrade. Both cars have the upgrade this weekend, so I'm looking forward to seeing how that feels actually on track." Interviewer: "You've got the new front wing. Gonna out-qualify George this weekend?" Lewis: "I'm gonna try." Interviewer: [laughs] "Alright. Well done, Lewis. Good luck." [time jump] Journalist [Nelson Valkenburg, Viaplay]: "Question for Lewis. Lewis, you already spoke about the improved potential of the car and the way that it's heading. What aspect of the car is improving, and what is then needed more to be able to fight for the podium?" Lewis: "The biggest improvement, I think, coming into this year has been ride quality and being able to get the car lower, which is what others have been able to do, and then stability on entry of corners. The car's far more predictable than it ever was, particularly the last couple of years, and particularly this year it's a lot more stable, so we can be a lot more committed into the corners. But then through-corner balance is where we've been lacking, as where some of the others have really taken a big step, so that's what we're trying to work on." Interviewer: "Thanks, Lewis. Any more? Yep." Journalist [Roldán Rodriguez, DAZN Spain]: "To Lewis, as well: In the contract with Ferrari for next year, the question is, was Frederic Vasseur, a man you know pretty well, directly involved in your contract?" Lewis: "Yes." Journalist: "Yeah. Good." Lewis: "Yeah, he's the boss, and really a huge amount of support from John Elkann, who I've got a great relationship with, and so with those two together, Fred and John, we worked really closely."

Hi there!! I'm so thrilled to hear your thoughts on this topic too! This is actually my first time sending an ask, and since English isn't my first language, please forgive my dry tone or if some of my sentences seem confusing in anyway 😭
Anyway, back to the topic. I only recently learned about the long list of APTX 4869 victims. Previously, I thought the victims were just Haneda Kohji, Amanda, Mary, Shinichi, and Shiho. While it’s true that APTX 4869 was tested on many others, most of them seem to have died (I think?) and Shinichi and Sherry are the only and two latest known survivors of APTX 4869, plus the key point is that Gin and the boss were aware that Shinichi and Sherry were still alive, yet they still gave the drug to Mary. This makes me believe that they didn’t intend for Mary to die either.
About familial genes, I admit my knowledge on that topic is very shallow, and I honestly don't know much about it so I completely agree with your perspective. Also, don’t worry—you understood my points perfectly. I just suck at biology I’m sorry 😭😭😭
As for the idea of ensuring a direct connection to Sherry through family ties, I actually thought the same as you. Sherry is emotionally unpredictable, so it's hard to predict how she might react. And yes, it’s very juicyy that Sherry herself knows that Gin understand her better than anyone else. Let me elaborate:
Gin’s ability to recognize Sherry from a strand of hair or her presence alone suggests he knows her down to the smallest details—possibly even the sound of her breathing. Initially, I thought this detail was exaggerated, but then I remembered how my mom can recognize whose hair is whose in our house. When she sees a messy strand, she scolds me, and I always ask, “How do you know it’s mine?” She’ll respond, “I can just tell!”
This makes me wonder if Gin could have been the person the Boss assigned to care for Sherry when she was young. After all, her parents passed away when she was just born, and her older sister was only about six or seven at the time. The organization likely wouldn't have left the sisters alone to care for each other. Their goal in raising Sherry was for her to continue her parents' research. To achieve that, the organization would’ve needed to carefully nurture her scientific potential. Japan, known for cultivating young geniuses, would likely have had a structured process in place.
The boss would have had to assign Sherry’s upbringing to a highly trusted member. Judging from the personalities of the Organization members we know so far, aside from Vermouth, only Gin stands out as meticulous, calm, and reliable enough for this task. And since the Organization’s priority was her scientific training, teaching Sherry to use weapons or fight wouldn’t have been necessary. An obedient Sherry who couldn’t defend herself would have been easier to control. However, Sherry turned out to be a skilled shooter (as shown in Volume 18, File 178), and it’s likely Gin was the one who trained her. His shooting skills must be on par with Akai’s.
Even as a child, Sherry shows fear whenever she senses the presence of BO. She once mentioned they knew what she looked like as a child. But, interestingly, in similar scenarios, Mouri and Doctor Agasa didn’t immediately recognize Shinichi when he was shrunk. This implies that even if Sherry met some Organization members when she was young, those encounters would have been rare because each member had different missions. Many of them may not have even met her.
From this, it seems that the one person Sherry feared recognizing her child form—the person who had been with her throughout her life and could identify her by a single strand of hair—was Gin.
I hadn’t considered the possibility that Mary and Gin might be siblings, as I remember Mary is about 20 years older than Gin. That’s why I lean more toward the theory that Mary is Gin’s mother. The thought of people speculating about their possible relationship cracks me up every single time—it’s such a wild idea, but it would be entertaining for sure 😂
And also, I’ve often wondered, like you, why Shinichi and Sherry haven’t been caught yet despite the immense risks they’ve taken. It’s important to remember that BO and Gin aren’t our usual murderers (I'd be happy to explain this if you're intrigued ^^). The only and most plausible explanation might lie in Sherry’s antidote.
Thank you so much for discussing these fascinating, brain-exploding theories with me. I’m genuinely happy to share thoughts on many interesting topic. Have a great day!
Hi again anon! Bit of a late reply but yesterday was really busy fjdjgfj
Also, no worries about your English, it's great! And welcome to the non-native speakers gang hell yeah <3333
CW: brief mentions of grooming in general, and implications of SA in regards to Gin and Sherry (whether we like it or not, the subtext is unfortunately there).
I'll admit, I hadn't considered the possibility of Gin being Shiho's sole "caretaker" while she grew up, but considering the fact that (based on what little she lets slip about her life before taking the APTX) it pretty much feels like she may have been meticulously groomed to fill her position as Sherry ever since she was a child, it does kind of make sense that there'd be someone she was "assigned" to.
Gin being the one Shiho is most terrified of, despite the fact that Vermouth is also right there and pretty much seems to have beef with all of the Miyanos (not to say she's not scared of Vermouth, but I'm fairly sure Gin has her beat on Shiho's fear scale), could imply a slew of pretty fucked up things aside from the usual "this guy will hunt traitors down personally and shoot them in the head". Because yes, that's scary, but every codenamed BO member is capable of it. Some of them even take pleasure in killing people, just like Gin seems to.
The fact that Shiho has this visceral of a reaction only when Gin specifically is brought up (or is nearby) could be indicative of much worse things having happened to her when she was young, and although there is no actual confirmation of this (and there will most likely never be), it really can't be denied that the subtext hinting at it exists, whether that's intentional or not.
Alternatively, it could be because she associates with Gin most of her memories as a BO member: as those have been a very taxing 18 years culminating in the loss of her sister (at the hands of Gin himself, even), she may have somehow pushed everything she'd so far repressed onto Gin (if we still operate on the assumption that he either pretty much raised her or was a supervisor she had to spend time with on the regular), hence the spike in fear regarding him only and the disproportionate gap between that and the amount of fear she experiences when detecting other BO members. I'm not quite sure that's possible from a psychological standpoint, but brains are very weird, so maybe it is.
Admittedly, my knowledge of canon information regarding Gin is a bit lacking, so he might really be too young to be Mary's brother (although we do have a 15 years gap between Masumi and Shuuichi, so maybe we could reach 20 with the platinum blonds if we believe in the heart of the cards /silly), but it's just too funny of a possibility for me to completely discard it. I believe in the Cain Instinct Theory <3
Thank you so much for sharing all these thoughts with me! I'd love to hear more— whether through asks or DMs, either is fine with me, but pick whichever you're more comfortable with—, I love yapping about detco as you can probably tell djsjfkdkf
And a great day to you too💚

Here is part 2 (final) of my Oathbound predictions. Feel free to comment if you agree or disagree (no hurt feelings 🙂). I also want to hear your own predictions. March 2025 is so far 😫 😔
Again, there will be potential spoilers from the first two books so please ignore this post if you are not caught up.
My predictions (not in any order):
1. There will be a time skip (around 3- 6 months) that will happen after Part 1 or Part 2.
2. Alice will be awaken from her coma during Part 2. And how? She will be unofficially oath to William by becoming his squire. They will be bonded by Lark.
3. Speaking of Lark, him and William will become close and end up as a couple 🥰
4. Bree will learn more about the Shadow King especially his weaknesses and maybe his past. The Shadow King will uncharacteristically become nicer to Bree as time goes on until she escapes with his wards (the twins, Zoelle and Elijah).
5. We will learn that the twins (along with Sel and Valec) are the Shadow King's children. The Shadow King might have fathered many children throughout his time "impersonating" humans.
6. The Morgaines will play a bigger role in helping Nick defeat and destroy the Regents. We will learn more about the Morgaines through Nick's pov.
7. The Rootcrafters might end up becoming another powerful ally in helping to defeat the Regents. There might also be another magical group that will also join the effort.
8. Selwyn will turn back to normal or as normal as possible thanks to Natasia. We will learn how she cured Sel and herself from succumbing to their demons. Hint: Root (Faye's root). After Sel is cured, he and Natasia will be united with Nick and the rest of the Legendborn.
9. Bree will successfully escape during Part 3 and have an emotional reunion with Nick then Sel and eventually Natasia. Natasia will be in tears when she sees Bree by being reminded of Faye (the best friend Natasia loved so dearly).
10. After the reunion, the dynamic trio (Bree, Nick, and Sel) will deal with the elephant in the room which is the kiss shared between Bree and Sel back in Bloodmarked. Nick will eventually find out by either Bree or Sel confessing out of guilt. There might be a fight between Nick and Sel started by Nick out of anger and Bree will be caught in the middle. This may or may not be resolved before the final battle.
11. The Shadow King is furious upon learning Bree's escape and will hunt her down. Bree and her allies will prepare for an epic battle against either the Regents or the Shadow King.
12. Bree and her allies will win the final battle but without enduring losses...one heavy loss in particular.😢
Tor will die during the battle or before then. This isn't a prediction but more of wishful thinking. I absolutely cannot stand Tor. I'm filled with rage every time she appears. 😡🤬
13. The ending of Oathbound will set up of either the Regents or the Shadow King being the final boss in the fourth and last book of the Legendborn Cycle

MDNI 18+
Feitan/Original Character (I gave her a name after I decided to put descriptors)
Trigger Warnings:
BDSM
Knife/sword play
Blood play
Mentions of rape/pedophilia/torture (OC has a rough history)
Spoiler for the manga (death of a character)
AFAB/She/Her pronouns
Maybe others to be honest I tried to think of things that might bother people, but this is Feitan, you know what you’re getting yourself into.
I do have this as a sort of chaptered story saved somewhere, but I don’t know if anyone actually wants that or if they just want the smut.
Tumblr media
Things had quieted down for the Phantom Troupe. Hisoka was still hunting them, but they had strength in numbers. Everyone rotated, staying with the boss, constantly two or three at a time, and always staying with someone else in the Troupe when not with Chrollo. They used this time to search out and find new recruits, ones with Nen abilities that would fill the gaps in their ranks, much to Feitan's dismay. He was still bitter about losing Shalnark, though he never let it show.
It seemed that, for now, Hisoka was laying low, although it was never a good idea to let your guard down with the sadistic magician. While he knew he was strong, even Hisoka was aware that he couldn’t take down the entire Troupe at the same time. Besides, his plan was to kill them all, one by one, to re-fight Chrollo on fair ground. His bitter desire for revenge fueled his patience. He also made it a point to kill anyone worthy of joining the Troupe, doing his best to prevent them from re-building.
Many of the new potential members that did make it through were vetted by Feitan. Chrollo wanted to ensure that anyone they added going forward could withstand endless torment since Hisoka was known to be vindictive. Who better to test them out than Feitan? The boss didn't realize Feitan used this trial to unleash his frustrations. Many were not leaving alive or in one piece.
"Feitan, I know I said to torture them, but perhaps leave one alive," Chrollo remarked calmly. Feitan replied, looking away from Chrollo, "They were not worthy. I only pushed to make sure they could endure it."
Still, he would attempt to present the boss with a new member soon. Phinks mentioned he had located someone with abilities that might throw Feitan for a loop, though he shrugged it off. He was starting to feel bored. The people making it through to him were not even close to being worth his time, and he had suspected for a while that Hisoka was behind it all.
Phinks ushered the latest prospect into Feitan's chamber within their warehouse on the outskirts of Meteor City. He was not predicting what he saw. This slim, petite woman, even shorter than he, stood in a black skirt, tank top, and combat boots. Her jet-black hair was back in a simple braid. Her simple attire stood to accentuate the sharpness of her jaw, the softness of her eyes, but those things were not what grabbed Feitan's attention. His gaze went to her arms and legs, entirely covered with scars. Anyone who received that sort of treatment from him would be dead. Yet, she glanced casually at the instruments around the room and the dried blood stuck to the floors and the wall.
“Hey, Feitan, this is Jun.” Phinks said. "Jun here is gonna be our new member, I'm sure of it."
Feitan snapped. "I'll decide that, Phinks. Did you give her the password?"
Phinks smirked. The interrogation strategy went as such; another member would give the nominee a word or phrase, and Feitan's assignment was to extract that information by any means possible. "Oh yeah, she's got it already. I won't give anything away, but she's gonna be a tough nut to crack. Good luck, Feitan." Phinks winked at Jun in his feeble attempt at flirting.
Jun rolled her eyes, annoyed. "Well, come on, let's see what you got." She beckoned Feitan towards her as she stepped to the center of the room. She almost seemed bored, as if she was testing Feitan as much as he was testing her. "So, Feitan, is it? Chains or no chains?" She gestured towards the ties around the wooden chair where he secured his marks.
Feitan's eyes tightened. He despised feeling like he was being told how to do his job. "Definitely chains," he said as he tied her to the seat. There was no resistance from her; she was almost helping as she moved her arms around into a perfect position for tying.
"Do your worst; I give you permission to do anything you like." Jun shot a look at Feitan. "Although I doubt you'll cross any of my lines. Punch me, kick me, stab me, burn me; it's all the same." She leaned against the chair with a heavy sigh.
Feitan felt suspicious; he was confident in his abilities to break anyone, but this person put him on edge. At the same time, however, he felt strangely aroused. She was beautiful, the mess of scars on her flesh only making her more so in his eyes.
He shook it off, reached for a blindfold, and covered and secured her eyes, preferring to give her no sign of what might be coming next. He closed his own eyes, reminding himself again to try and keep her alive. If she was worthy of the Phantom Troupe, then breaking too many bones or removing body parts wasn’t on the table. Still, dislocating a few joints was a different story, as well as deep cuts and wounds that Machi could fix up. Hell, if he did cut off her arm, Machi could just sew it back on. However, Machi was away on another job and wouldn’t be back for a while. He imagined the cut off parts would still need to be fairly fresh for reattachment.
Once he felt he had a good plan that didn’t involve tearing her from limb to limb, he balled up his fist, and punched her forcefully in the stomach. A direct hit like that alone would take down many a strong man, and that’s without using Nen. Jun gagged for a moment, the wind knocked out of her. Blood splattered from her throat. He smiled, watching as the warm, red liquid began dripping from the corner of her mouth. He thought to himself, “This won’t take long at all.” But then, he heard her laugh.
"That's the best you got?" she murmured through strained breaths. Feitan was enraged. He restrained himself from punching a hole through her chest cavity. He reached behind her, grabbing at her index finger and pulling it in a perfect jab, dislocating it from the joint. She yelped slightly, but then continued laughing. Next was the pinky finger, popping from the joint with a satisfying snap, then pressing down to increase the pain.
Jun knew she could take more because she already had. She thought back to her childhood. Ever since she was little, her father and his friends gathered and did evil, wretched things to her. Her mother looked the other way when Jun would come home with her father covered in bandages and bruises. But Jun was strong, strong enough to stay alive. Until one day, her screams and cries no longer satiated their desires. Jun was too old for them now. The day her father took her sister out of the house and came back alone was the day Jun lost herself. Her rage towards her father, mother, and the men who hurt her and her sister was too much. She swore to kill every last one of them... and she had.
Jun was a stubborn target, but Feitan had his share of those before and still managed to crumble their will. The difference, however, is he could always use threats of death, where here he was really having to restrain himself. Feitan continued, hitting her across the face, narrowly resisting from breaking her jaw. Again across the right side near her eye, then again on the left. Once he was satisfied with where he was, he snarled. "Tell me the password."
Jun was quiet, and he thought he was getting close to breaking her. Then the silence was broken by a maniacal laugh through heavy coughs. "Come on, little man, you barely got started."
Feitan grit his teeth. Jun was mocking him? "You talk shit, I see." His patience was usually so strong, but she was pushing his buttons. He grasped the small double-edged tanto from his pocket and impaled her in the abdomen. Jun let out a moan that echoed through the chamber, causing Feitan to take a step back. He'd heard many sorts of cries from his victims, but that was unexpected. "Oh, did I not mention? The more you hurt me, the more it turns me on." Her tongue darted out, licking her lips sensually.
Jun's laugh was full of her own insanity. To Feitan, the unhinged sound rang like music to his ears. He bore the knife into her throat. He had an idea that would probably end him, but he was losing control. "I'm going to make you tell me the password. But first, I'm going to have some fun." He drug the knife across her throat, not entirely through but just enough to make her bleed. She bit her lip, enjoying the sensation of cold metal through her skin. He persisted, cutting off her shirt and skirt keeping him from the rest of her tender flesh. He couldn’t take his eyes off the scars that littered the rest of her body, her torso and hips and even her back. He found a few areas where the skin had yet to be touched, and ran the knife across, barely pressing down to just break the skin. Jun’s body bucked into the knife, enjoying the pain and aching flushing through her body. She hated herself for how fucked up this all ways, how she savored and craved this feeling. As for Feitan, he felt awakened in a way he'd never quite experienced.
He leaned over and licked the blood dripping down her neck onto her chest. Jun’s body shook with desire. She had not been anticipating that. It caused an involuntary groan as Feitan's tongue glided through the blood and sweat.
"Fuck, I thought you were supposed to be torturing me, Feitan." She was panting, feeling the heat rising between her legs. Jun couldn't help but tease him, poking to see how much more he would give her.
"There are many types of torture, you know," he whispered in her ear, his deep voice giving her goosebumps. "I happen to be an enthusiast of all types." He pushed the knife back into his pocket and removed the blindfold covering her face. Blood was dripping from Jun's nose, and deep purple bruises formed over her face. Her right eye was swollen shut. He had done his best not to break her jaw, but he did some severe damage. Her seductive gaze drew him in closer, then she spit blood into his face.
Feitan stood there motionless, then brushed the blood from his face. He took her throat in one hand, pressing down on her windpipe. "Next time you speak to me, you will tell me the password." With his other hand, he parted her legs and slid his fingers into her core, surprised but pleased to feel she was dripping wet. She moaned hoarsely through his hold on her throat. He continued working his fingers in while sliding his thumb over her clit. He wanted to soak his hand in her, savor her forbidden juices with his fingers.
Still grasping her throat, he lightly released enough for her to take a deep breath, then pressed back. She leaned back, trying to use the back of the seat as leverage to grind harder onto his hand. She was so close to release, just a little further…
Feitan withdrew both his hands. Jun took a deep gasp, and tears welled in her eyes. He examined his fingers, dripping with sticky fluids. His fingers glided through the blood dripping down her chest and slid into her mouth, mixing everything together. He grabbed her neck and shoved his own tongue in next, wanting to taste the salty, bloody mix of fluids. Once he pulled away, she eyed him for a moment. "Fuck you. I guess you're really playing hardball now."
Feitan flew back at her. Within seconds he adjusted her chains, forcing her to the ground on her knees and securing her hands to her feet behind her. He removed his black overcoat and undid the tie on his pants. "Fucking brat, I told you not to speak unless you tell me the password." He pulled down the front of his pants and pulled out his cock, hard and leaking.
Jun drooled, astounded at the girth of the man with such a small stature. Feitan snatched her by the hair and shoved himself down her throat, acting as the gag to keep her from speaking again till he let her. Jun’s eyes were ravenous as she looked up at Feitan, who she noticed was cruel and sadistic in the best ways. He was like her personal demonic angel, supplying the suffering she yearned for. Jun could sense that Feitan was in his element, and so was she. She was suffocated by him, exhilarated that he was violating her in such a way. His eyes rolled in the back of his head, picking up speed with animalistic want. Watching the tears run down her face, he felt like a god among men.
Feitan could feel himself getting close. His body was spasming, but he continued to mangle her throat, even through her gags and heaving and watched her take all his creamy nectar. He withdrew his cock, and she looked up into his eyes, tongue out to show the finished product painted inside her mouth. The sticky cum was melting down her face, then she tucked it in to swallow, licking the aftermath off her lips. Feitan's perverted mind was ecstatic. "So, ready to tell me?"
Jun's eyes were glazed with submission. "I'll tell you... if you please let me cum, too."
“You act like you have upper hand here. If you want to finish, “he grabbed her by the throat, “you will tell me password.”
Hot tears were forming at the edge of her eyes, feeling the heat between her legs pulsing and close but not able to give her the satisfaction she was craving. “If I tell you, and you let me finish,” she whimpered, “am I still going to be a Spider?”
Feitan's primal urges opened up. He knelt in the pool of blood surrounding her and untied her chains, releasing her arms from above. Then he laid back on the concrete floor, unbothered by the horrifying mess that had been created. Jun saw her opening and crawled on top of him, hovering over his still erect member. She glided along the shaft, soaking it in her wetness before slipping it inside. It felt amazing. All the sensations of touch, taste, and smell she was experiencing were explosive. Feitan used his thumb to circle around her sensitive nerves, and Jun couldn't take anymore. She screamed loud, the orgasmic pulses shooting through her body. She crumpled forward, laying her head on Feitan's forehead. "By the way, the password is "password." Totally worth it, though." Feitan lay there quietly momentarily, then an honest laugh escaped his lips. He sat up, entangling his hands in her hair, and placed a soft kiss on her lips. "I bandage you up. You bleed out."
Jun’s eyes sparkled. “Watch this.” She stood up, closed her eyes, and Feitan noticed the distinct glow of Hatsu around her. He tensed a moment, preparing for the worse, but relaxed when he saw the stab wound close as if it had never happened. Each open cut and scrape sealed. Once the last one disappeared, she released her focus and opened her eyes to see Feitan’s awed expression. He stood up and approached her, running his finger over the spot he had stabbed earlier. A faint, smooth scar was there. He noticed that all of the gashes he made were like that, like whispers on her velvety skin, but that others were raised and rough. He put together that those had to be before she developed her abilities. There were hundreds more scars like those.
He wrapped his arm around her, pulling her close to whisper in her ear. "Spider now. Let's do again sometime."

Self-Destructive Life Choices - Part 1
Boss x Employee Orc x Human May not continue
This started off as a self-indulgent boss x employee little smut fic - wherein the boss just propositions the employee one day - but went a completely different direction.
Summary: Estrella Marsh has worked for Kizru Vit, CEO and owner of Storybound Publishing House, for five years. For most of that time, she has harbored a crush on him. A crush which she has, effectively, crushed down and refuses to address.
Three months after Kizru and his romantic partner separate, he propositions Estrella to - ahem - help him scratch an itch. Which, in turn, leads to a bigger proposal.
xxx
Stopping outside her boss’s office, Estrella Marsh took a deep breath and readjusted the litany of papers in her arms. An excited apprehension always came with entering Mr. Vit’s proximity. It had been five years since Estrella started working at Storybound Publishing House and her nerves had never deadened.
Mr. Vit had been the one to hire Estrella as his personal assistant, which was just a more PC way of saying secretary. She answered calls and emails; scheduled and reminded him of appointments; and, less commonly, often read and “red penned” some of the potential manuscripts looking to publish under SPH’s logo. Likely the job should have gone to an actual copy editor or something, but the boss seemed to trust Estrella with the “special” option the most.
Estrella was not sure what made them particularly special, other than the fact they were written by the company’s #1 Best Selling Romance Author, CR Onamai.
Steeling herself as she pushed the door open, she half-hoped he would be gone. It was later in the evening and, since his long-time partner’s departure, he’d taken leaving early without notice. Keeping her head down - certainly not daring to look at the door that once connected Kizru’s office to Ryeleigh’s - she trudged into the office and made a beeline for his desk.
She barely got two steps in when Mr. Vit’s voice greeted her, “Hey, Red, want to help me with something?”
Her head snapped up, finding Mr. Vit leaned back in his chair. His green eyes on her and his eyebrows raised in an inquisitive fashion.
The nickname he gifted her wasn’t particularly imaginative, coined upon her talent for “red-penning” manuscripts. There was no other reason for it, considering she had neither red hair nor a penchant for wearing the color.
Fighting down the heat of being seen, Estrella moved closer to his desk and placed the stack of documents down. Task complete, she stood straight and clasped her hands in front of herself. “What is it, Mr. Vit?”
She was careful to keep the curiosity from her eyes when she looked at her boss.
Kizru Vit was not necessarily someone she had imagined sitting at the helm of a publishing company. If Estrella hadn’t worked at the publishing company, she would have pictured the head to be someone older and bespectacled. Perhaps possessing a distinguished air. Someone no nonsense and particular.
Kizru, on the other hand, was tall and broad with a seaweed green skin tone and features that could be called sculpted or craggy, depending on his mood. His style of dress waffled between business-casual to, on predicted slow days, sweatpants and a tank top. A scar streaked down the right side of his face, turning his right eye a more milky shade of green. Despite the injury, he assured Estrella he could still see out of the eye.
His age was beginning to show in his black beard, peppered with white, and at his white-streaked temples. During her employment, the rest of his hair had subtly shifted from deep black to a lighter shade, undoubtedly becoming lighter with age.
Admittedly, he did wear glasses and at times he could be distinguished. Though thanks to how closely Estrella worked with him, the distinguished air was often undercut by his scatter-minded tendencies.
“It’s been three months since my partner left me, right?” He braced his elbow on top of the desk, leaning forward as his chin rested in his palm.
His position reminded her of a schoolkid, staring longingly at the clock as it inched closer to dismissal time. However, the reminder of his ex almost made her jolt. Ryeleigh, her boss’s ex, had been his romantic partner for longer than Estrella worked at the publishing house. They’d always been pleasant and kind, though professionally distant. Something Kizru could have taken notes on when Ryeleigh was present.
Further, they had always been one of the reasons Estrella had clamped down on the fond thoughts of Mr. Vit, keeping her admiration from becoming more than workplace appropriate.
“Yes, I believe it’s been about three months.” In an attempt to swallow the feelings that threatened to flutter through her, she gave a stoic nod.
Kizru’s green eyes watched her carefully for a long moment, fingers toying with the short beard at his chin. Estrella couldn’t even imagine what he was thinking. Had Ryeleigh contacted him to renew their relationship? Was he considering getting back out into the dating world? Neither of those thoughts seemed like he’d need her input.
He was a grown man, capable of doing his own research or taking his own ass out on the town if he so pleased.
“Alright, putting all the cards on the table,” Kizru finally sighed, pressing both of his palms flat to the desk as he leaned back. She noticed how his chair slid backward as his back hit the cushion. “I’m really horny.”
Her attention shot to his face, her eyes widening at the three simple words. He was horny? Heat churned through her, confused and wary. As much as she admired him, as much as he made something inside her squirm, that was not in her job description. And she wasn’t about to let it become entangled in her professional affairs.
With her eyebrows furrowing and her lips twisting into a frown, she replied, “You have two hands. Use those.”
“Believe me, I have been. It’s an itch that needs another person to scratch.” Kizru groaned, throwing his head back and staring at the ceiling again. He didn’t even have the decency to be flushed at his ridiculous request, Estrella noticed.
“Mr. Vit, this is sexual harassment,” she sighed, her tone a hard warning. He shouldn’t need this reminder. These words alone could ruin him. Only the fact she liked him and felt grateful for this position really saved him from the scandal.
As expected, he nodded and turned his gaze to her. “I know.”
“Then why ask me that!” It was more of an exclamation than a question on her part. She was glad she had already deposited the papers to his desk, otherwise they would have been thrown into flight. While not the first time he had spoken openly - unprofessionally - in front of her, this was by far the worst he’d been. Had the break-up really affected him so badly?
He gave a single shoulder shrug, too lackadaisical in Estrella’s opinion. An infuriatingly light grin tilted at his lips. “You didn’t say no right away.”
“And I didn’t say yes,” she snapped back, trying to convince herself the heat on her cheeks was ruddy anger rather than mortification. Or something worse. “You could get in a lot of trouble for this.”
“Yeah, I know.” Kizru gave another careless shrug that made Estrella want to slap the everloving shit out of him.
“You are risking your career, your livelihood to scratch an itch, Mr. Vit.” It was only by the gods’ grace that Estrella managed to say the words at her regular decibel, albeit in a ferociously clipped tone. She put her hands on her hips, scowling at her boss. Something in his smile twitched a little wider and, not for the first time, Estrella felt like an old-time schoolmarm being sassed by a precocious adolescent.
Which honestly should not have been the case, given the fact he was older than her. But she had always been an “old soul,” as her mother said. Of course, Estrella later realized that was just a more polite way of calling her stodgy.
Kizru shrugged as if he didn’t care about the problems his proposal could cause as he got to his feet. Her mind raced, one question rotating around her thoughts. How could he not care? All the while, part of her watched as Kizru moved out from behind the desk, closing the distance between the two of them.
“Are you having one of those mid-life ‘oh no my partner left me so I’m going to make destructive life choices’ moments?” The words would have had greater impact had Estrella not backed away from her boss with his every step forward. She couldn’t risk Kizru getting closer to her. The heat on her cheeks and the pounding in her chest were already distracting enough. Just catching the whiff of his cologne made her knees wobble.
He paused, looping his thumbs into the pockets of his pants as he regarded Estrella. She could only imagine what he saw. A frumpy woman, dressed in her usual black slacks and white blouse and grey cardigan. Dark brown hair so threaded with grey, it was becoming a lighter, dustier, color. She barely resisted the urge to bashfully push her glasses up higher on her nose.
Did he think she’d be an easy lay? Was that why he was breaching the legally allowable parameters of their employer-employee relationship? Estrella tried to let that thought fuel her anger, but a hidden part of her knew it wasn’t exactly incorrect. She had, in her moments of weakness, fantasized about that very breach of conduct herself.
As if hearing her thoughts, a crooked grin parted his lips, making her insides burn. That particular smile always brought her attention to his tusks, often filed down to nubs. Since the separation, she thought he may have eased off on the ritual, but it was hard to tell.
“Maybe I am being self-destructive or maybe I’m just horny and decided to shoot my… shot with you, Red.”
Estrella narrowed her eyes at him again, somehow feeling the other word he had hanging on his tongue. His smile twitched, a spark of mischief dancing in his green eyes. Shoot his load with her, indeed.
“Look, you'll be all within your rights to go to HR about this. You can walk out that door now and I won’t stop you.” He raised his hands, palms facing Estrella in a non-threatening motion. She had to bite her tongue to keep from ogling his forearms, the sleeves of his button-up shoved to his elbow. This situation was not one where she should gawp at her boss. She should be offended and disgusted, on her way to HR right that moment.
When his next words registered in her head, it froze her thoughts. “But I can smell the arousal on you. I have for a while. Just figured, what with me being single now and the opportunity…”
Cold shot through Estrella, making the heat on her cheeks burn all the worse. Her wide eyes pinned him with a wild look. “How long?”
“Excuse me?” Her tone of voice caused him to pause from creeping closer, cocking his head to the side a little. There was a little spark of amusement in his eye, an odd smile barely quirking his lips at the corners. Somehow, he was taking her words down an inappropriate line of thought.
Estrella swallowed, forcing her tone to come out calm rather than frantic. “How long have you been able to smell arousal on me?”
She had smashed her feelings the moment she met Kizru with his partner at the holiday party, five years ago. She had shoved them so far down, they were flatter than a pancake. There was no way he could have known. Estrella didn’t even allow herself to dally on her… appreciation of him for too long. A wall had been built!
“Oh!” Whatever Kizru had been thinking had apparently been wrong. The wry grin faded a little as his eyebrows quirked. “I’m not sure. I guess I just didn’t take too much notice of it until Ryeleigh left me?”
Well, that was a little bit of a relief. Her shoulders eased, admitting that arousing attraction was different from whatever else threatened to stir in her chest. Kizru was attractive and nice. The occasional daydream was natural.
Still, Estrella glanced at the exit, uncertain what to do. He was circling behind her and her heart wasn’t truly looking for an escape. Hells, her mind wasn’t even telling her to move. Being propositioned by her boss wasn’t unappealing.
“Last chance to leave, Red, before I…”
Once again, his words roused her from her frenetic thoughts. Her attention snapped back to his face, hating how wide her eyes were as she stumbled back from his approach. “Before you what?”
Kizru teeth flashed in a broader smile, taking another step closer. “Before I stop restraining myself.”

Hi! I have some questions for you. First, Rank the Hawthorne brothers:
1st:
2nd:
3rd:
4th:
Now, your most favourite character from the whole series :
Your least favourite character from the whole series:
I really want to know whether or not we think on the same wavelength about these characters or if I'm the odd one out. Last question, who are the characters that you wish had been mentioned more in the series, as in, their relation with Avery?
hello!! sorry it took me so long to reply but I have been heavily debating my answers. these were such good questions and it was so hard to decide!! but I feel like my answers are gonna bug you…
Hawthorne brother ranking: I CANT DO ITTT, I ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY CANTTT IM SOOOO SORRY
like genuinely love them all the same and I cannot choose, I had tried (hence why it took me so long to reply) but it was impossible 😔😔
I mean if you’re talking boyfriend wise: Grayson would be my first choice but I would not mind any of them, literally if they existed I’d be lucky to get a side glance
favourite character: you know what this is so difficult for me because it literally changes daily 😭😭 and it is so dependant on my mood but I’ll give you a top five
Gigi is my babyyyy, I love her to pieces!! she’s so bubbly and cute and sweet and I literally just want to hug her to death, but at the same time her character is so much deeper than that and she hides all of her pain. (and I’m a sucker for an emotionally traumatised character that’s trying to bottle everything up until they have to break).
okay this might get me hated on but I’m allowed to have my own opinion… I personally love love love Savannah… WAIT NO ONE KILL ME YET… I just think she’s such a girl boss, I love a strong independent woman who fights her own battles. also I love her pure confidence and how she also bottles her emotions in a more cutthroat way than Gigi, I love her coldness (I probably sound like a mentalist), idk I just love her and her intensity, it’s just so alluring!!
oh also tell me why nan Hawthorne is my literal idol?? idk I just love her. her energy is everything, she’s so cool 😭😭 idk I have an emotional attachment
I know I said five but we’re counting the Hawthorne brothers as a whole here (one whole split into quarters so it’s like 0.25 each). Grayson, Jameson, Xander and Nash are all spectacular in all different ways and I could sit here and book on why but I won’t bore you…
I know I literally just named half the characters in the book but overall if I had to give one answer I would have to say that Avery is my favourite character, call me predictable or clichè but I worship that woman and she’s such an amazing character
Least favourite character: this is the one I feel like I can give a straight answer on. I mean it’s the obvious E*e, Em*ly and Tob*as, like ew hate them.
oooo okay hottakes now (yay)
I feel like we don’t get enough of Libby and Avery just being sisters, like I need more. me and my sister are super close and I want to see that in those two. they have so much potential, I know we get snippets but after the first two books it kind of fades a bit…
obviously I want to see Lyra and Avery become besties because I feel like they’d bounce off of each other, like they’re both super smart, both (practically) dating a Hawthorne brother and I think they’d have such a cool friendship
idkkk but I loved the Avery/Xander dynamic from the hawthorne legacy (I think that’s when those two bonded more, but I might be wrong) so more of that would be amazinggg
and I know this isn’t about Avery but honourable mentions bc I want to see more Gigi and Xander being plutonic besties and also more Gigi and Savannah moments. I would also LOVEEE more scenes of just the four Hawthorne brothers bc those are always hilarious and they just gel so well together.
but now I’m practically naming everyone in the series, sorry for my waffle and not-straight answers 😭😭 but thanks for asking <33

I hope Jimin was in his savage era on Jk's day. Hope he watched some of these episodes back and was like you know what, you kinda were being an unnecessary pain in my Jibooty. Hope he just gave him a bro pat and was like Happy bday bro and ignored him the rest of the day. Jk sitting there waiting for his predictable annual Jimin bday post he's gotten use to and it doesn't come. Remember how Jk said his bday sucked last year to a reporter & said he didn't get traditional soup And we find out Jimin said he called JK, he probably didn't see him in person & that is why it sucked. Poor Jk, no soup, no Jimin and straight up said it sucked into the microphone and didn't hold back. If I were Jimin, I would be like you didn't get traditional soup huh, but yo mamma made it for my birthday, at least you got to enjoy it on my birthday and walk off like a boss. I'm kidding, joking aside, they were together on JK's bday this time by choice and nothing can take that away and we know Jimin probably made JK's day as special as he could be considering where they are. post or not. Its Jimin & we're talking about JK. He can't help it.
Unnecessary pain in his jibooty???????
I'm shooketh🤣
Bro pat is diabolic 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Awww not ignore him like wtf🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Okay not too much now💔🥴
Oh thank God you jx kidding😭😓🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I agree with your conclusions
I mean where they going they literally in forced proximity with eachother and I love how Jimin said well the best of friends could fight in such a confined space but not them
Jungkook loves and I don't have a problem with the way he loves. Like let's not get it twisted. He probably loves hard between the two. But loving someone and relating with someone are two different things.
And I feel that's were many people lose the plot when it comes to those two.
Jimin is extremely brilliant and relating to people. He has all the right emotional skills to relate with people. I'm just gonna say Jungkook is a bit lacking in that department so he can come off as aloof to some people.
But that doesn't in no way shape or form negate the love they each have for the other. Like I have no doubt on my mind Jimin and Jungkook love eachother.
And I know Jimin is confident in Jungkook's love towards them and more importantly he's confident in his own emotional skills to help them relate well in their relationship.
And listen, my guy, Jimin will choose his dynamic with Jungkook and perhaps has more confidence in the potential of a successful relationship with Jungkook than he has in Taehyung for example.
He's willing to forgive and Jungkook is willing to be told what he needs to do no matter how stubborn he may be.
I've learned and grown so much from their dynamic and in a perfect world I want to be like Jimin but right now Jungkook is where am at and if I sink low I'm a Taehyung 💀
I want to be so good at relating with people, not react impulsively, not let people's shit stirr up my own shit like people dont understand just how much Jimin brings to the table.
But I've a been a Jimin and I tell it's exhausting
Its exhausting being the one to reason all the time, be thoughtful all the time, care about the consequences of things and just plain be the mature one and intelligent one all the time
Baby now I let all burn and toast to the flames 🔥 😍
If you won't think before you act ill let you deal with the consequences of that. If you won't nurture our relationship back I'll let it wither, if you won't be the first to Apologize I won't either and let this relationship go to hell
I don't have to be the one to save it all the time and I feel neither should Jimin you know???
If people wanna be ghetto and not care about the little things that fosters a community and bridges relational gaps man don't care either you can't carry certain things all on your back.
Which is also not to say he must come from a place of malice no. He just has to care for his own emotional well being and understand if he keeps going like that he will burn out and feel emotionally depleted.
I hope he does more than pat him on the back. May be order a cake for him and gather a few friends to sing happy birthday for him because I know Jungkook makes his birthdays special for him even if he doesn't post about it🤷🏾

So, I've been replaying Pokémon games(FireRed and Emerald, specifically) and thought I could try and make up a team that resembles the R&R boys.
I came up with this:
Tumblr media
(If Ren was a Pokémon, in my opinion, they would be an Aegislash)
I like these selections! I can see why you picked them all. I especially love the use of megas here, and Alolan Marrowak for Dust. Choice! Nightmare as a Tentacruel made me giggle and I adore the idea of Gallant Mega Gallade as Axe.
You inspired me to do my own take!
Tumblr media
Nightmare is naturally Darkrai, because, let's face it, it's a perfect match. Darkrai's realm is of dreams, and it can inflict terrible nightmares onto others. It doesn't always do this maliciously, though, and it's generally used to chase people away from its territory. Humans are flighty creatures, though, so they villainize poor Darkrai for what it does. Darkrai's Shinny palate is purplish with teal eyes, too.
Killer fits Bisharp especially well. They generally command larger groups of Pawniard to do their dirty work for them, and will concede control to someone stronger if defeated. Killer is a competent leader, but bows out to Nightmare as the boss. Bisharp's shiny palate is also blue and yellow, which fits! Bisharp can also evolve into Kingambit, but I feel like Killer would purposefully not do that, even if he met the criteria for evolution. (Completely as an aside, shiny Bisharp was the first wild random shiny encounter I found in Scarlet! I think mine's a girl though. I'll have to check.)
Dust I thought would be nice as a Hissuian Typhlosion. Generally calmer than their Johtonian counterparts, they space out a lot and are thought to be watching the flow of life energies and looking for lost souls to eat. Kind of disturbing for such a placid-looking Pokemon, even if that process is said to purify the spirits as well. They're especially dangerous if they lose their temper, though, and their ghostly flames will burn everything and everyone around them until there is nothing left. Definitely sounds like someone we know.
Axe was tough to settle on, but I decided Kleavor would fit him well. They're generally rough, strong, brutish Pokemon... but at the same time, there's one that inhabits the forests of the Obsidian Fieldlands, and its caretaker is a small boy. Presumably, with socialization, these often violent Pokemon can be fairly tame and helpful to allies. The entire Scyther line gets a lot of bad rap for their appearance, and Kleavor is no exception... But, if you take the time to get to know them, they're loyal and steadfast.
Cross was perfect for Mega Absol, absolutely brilliantly done. Absol by itself is said to predict disasters, and its appearance is perceived as a bad omen. Mega Absol's very aura is so intimidating, it might kill the fainthearted from shock, and according to its Ultra Sun Pokedex entry, it hates this form because it doesn't like fighting in the first place. Cross isn't a huge fan of fighting generally, only if it's unavoidable, and he's good at it anyway, despite not enjoying it most of the time. He also absolutely sees himself as a bad omen, and tends to keep to himself.
Baggs was similarly a brilliant choice for Malamar. Not only are its hypnotic powers said to be the strongest of all Pokemon who possess them (yes, even the Pokemon deliberately named for it), but it has reportedly influenced historical events with them, and people don't often recall time spent under its control. This has been utilized by people, but for such a self-aware Pokemon (who often uses these abilities on its own for its own gain), it's up in the air whether or not it was the trainer's idea, or the Malamar's. Also, its pre-evolution is downright adorable. For something so calculating to come out of such a cute Pokemon is oddly fitting.
I also agree with Ren as Aegislash, or even Zacian, who requires its sword to achieve its true form and potential.

AN: This is part of my larger worldbuilding series. Which can be found under that tag. I will finish my demon form headcanons at some point but I'm taking a break from that until inspiration strikes once again. Sorry Lucifer and Beel 🥺 anyways this installment will be in three parts, part one which will have Pride, Lust, and Sloth, and parts two and three which will split up the remaining four sins.
TW(almost all of these are just vauge mentions ngl): manipulation, demons being demons, mentions of torture, dubious boss-employee dynamics but not in the sexy way, aphrodisiac mentions, drugging mention? , sex work mention (support sworkers ♡), violence, sleep deprivation, insanity, sleep paralysis, nightmares (I think that's everything? It's not like. Super bad I just want to be on the safe side)
OBEY ME! SHALL WE DATE WORLDBUILDING
😈 Avatars of Sin: Part One 😈
The seven brothers are not the first avatars of sin. That title was previously given to high-ranking nobility. They spend centuries trying to prove their worth while also undermining the competition. So it was a big slap in the face when a bunch of former angels suddenly got such coveted positions.
Mephistopheles was particularly angry because the general assumption was that due to his relationship with Diavolo, Mephistopheles would be practically guaranteed a place as an avatar.
The Avatars of Sin are expected to watch over and make sure that demons of that particular sin are doing their jobs and staying in line. Punishment of subordinates falls on the avatars unless it is a big enough misstep to have them taken to the Demon Lord for judgment.
Tumblr media
Pride demons use various means to fuel an unsuspecting human's ego. They tend to prey either on those with low esteem or an inflated sense of self-importance. They'll worm their way into the victim's life slowly but surely. An entry-level Pride Demon job would be masquerading as a human hairdresser, personal assistant, or occasionally, a potential lover. They spend their time building up the confidence of the human, giving compliments that seem normal but soon morph into reminding the victim regularly that they are better than everyone else. Then, after the human is effectively convinced that they are the best…it's time to tear down all that self-confidence they built. Driving the unlucky soul to either fall into despair or fight to bring themselves back to the top, no matter who they hurt along the way.
A human that is more weak to demonic influence may fall prey to a Magic Mirror. Only a few of these cursed objects are in existence. A Pride demon uses their magic to expertly enchant a mirror to know exactly how to break those unfortunate enough to find it. Whether it's making whoever looks upon it to see the most beautiful version of themselves or emphasize every little flaw and insecurity. These mirrors can only be destroyed by powerful magic.
The more elite Pride demons, handpicked by the current Avatar, spend their days at parties with the rich and famous. These demons, in particular, have benefited from influencer culture. They mingle, acting as producers and managers and other such important people. They find the most weak minded at these events and do basically the same as their lower ranked counterparts, just with more entertaining prey.
Lucifer is, predictably, a very harsh boss. He doesn't tolerate imperfection. How can you hope to influence humans if you aren't flawless? Praise from someone who is everything you could ever dream to be is much more effective after all. Demons working under Lucifer often have their workload increased. Another decade of work for each hour you waste by not being Perfect. Repeat offenders become Cerberus' chew toys. It is very hard to become one of his Elite. And even harder to keep that position.
Tumblr media
Lust demons are like sirens. They hang out in nightclubs, singing along to every song that is even mildly sexual in nature. It's quite easy to pretend to just be another drunk person having a good time, only for their voice to influence the unsuspecting humans. It's a running joke in the Devildom that Lust demons put their blood sweat and tears into their work. That's because they do. All their bodily fluids contain some degree of an aphrodisiac. Some pose as bartenders, adding a little secret ingredient to make the patrons a little more likely to give in to their desires.
Of course, bars aren't the only place Lust demons hang out. They are all around. Flirting with the cute cashier, rizzing up people on the street. Some even take the easy route and become sex workers in the human world. It's much easier to tempt someone when they already planned on doing something. Though some think this is 'lazy' and many who choose this strategy are teased, saying perhaps they have more of an affinity for sloth. There aren't really different jobs for Lust demons the way there is for others. That's not to say they don't have preferences on how to get the job done. Some demons prefer to sleep with humans themselves, while others like to use their powers to make the humans do all the work, killing two or more birds with one stone.
Asmo can either be the best or worst boss, depending on his mood. If you break rules (hypnotism is for NON WORK RELATED ACTIVITIES ONLY) or just piss him off… the poor demons who just don't live up to his standards quickly become glorified assistants so Asmo doesn't have to do as much work. Or they are gutted, torn apart by perfectly manicured hands.
Every few years, there is a mass orgy organized by Asmo's current #1 employee for all sorts of folks to come around. If you have a pact with a Lust demon, you are sure to get an invite. Witches, succubi, and demons alike are eager to score a ticket. It doubles as a networking opportunity!
Tumblr media
Sloth demons have two main jobs. Terrorizing humans by causing nightmares and influencing them to be lazy. Some opt to cause such aggressive nightmares that make their victim wake up in a cold sweat, becoming so afraid of sleep that they abuse stimulants until they either go insane from sleep deprivation or pass out from exhaustion, making the cycle repeat. Sloth demons can manage a subtle form of possession once their victim is tired. Masquerading as the human's own inner dialog and convincing them that, "no… you should just rest. Fuck the deadline, you had a hard day. Just a little break won't hurt." It starts out with convincing the human they deserve to rest but progresses as the poor idiot becomes more and more susceptible to demonic influence.
The highest honor the average Sloth demon can achieve is becoming an official Sleep Paralysis Demon.
Most of them start out as a child's Boogeyman before graduating to possession of those with weaker wills. After completing those stages, the demon will either be promoted to Nightmare or Demonic Influence. Being demoted back to Boogeyman would make a Sloth demon the object of ridicule by their peers.
Belphegor is relatively easygoing as far as an Avatar goes. His preferred method of discipline is to just send someone back to the rank of Boogeyman. Which, some would rather deal with torture over the humiliation, but, hey, you can't win 'em all.

Hi again! Listen, if we indeed get the MK vs SWK fight you've been predicting, I want it to be CATHARTIC. I want both parties fighting to show the RAWEST, UGLIEST, MOST FUCKED UP parts of themselves to each other without holding back, and embrace those parts in one another wholeheartedly just as much at the end. And I don't want this fight to be at the end of the show, no, I want it to be inn the midle of the show run, not even just a few episodes spare afterwards but several seasons, to see them work on the ruined previous framework and build on it as a sturdier, more stable foundation, and I want to see it unfold and develop in the show. I want to see them fight together with that new bond against the big boss or whatever passes as it. I think what I'm trying to say is Eldritch!MK better not be the last boss, and that even in a fight with out-of-control MK, SWK still unconsciously holds back even if he doesn’t want to. Also for Wukong to show his OG power in its full glory at the end against the final boss who is hopefully not Eldritch MK. You may disagree with some of my points but we can agree to disagree. Eat fruits!
DUDE. YES.
In my mind I've never thought of Eldritch!MK as the final big bad, legitimately. Which now I realize that's kinda silly, because the show could go that direction, but in my mind MK would be pushed further down a path of chaos by being manipulated by our new antagonist. This isn't something he would want ("This isn't what I wanted!" for the sweet sweet Azure parallel), but something he'd be pushed into—whether through manipulation, or past memories, or some reveal or WHATEVER it is that pushes him to the brink.
Ultimately however, MK has to eventually defy his fate and use his powers to leave the world "better than he found it"—he has to come to terms with the fact that he'll hurt people, and people will hurt him, and that's how life works. He ultimately has to accept himself. Being the "final boss" of the show would leave very little time for MK to truly learn to love himself and learn who he truly is, which is why I think it probably won't happen. Maybe he'd be the final boss of a season—but certainly not the show as a whole.
But a cathartic and messy Wukong and MK fight? That's something I am hoping we get, and think we definitely have the potential to get! Here's a short list of people who have chewed Wukong out thus far:
Mei (3x10)
Macaque (4x11)
Curse MK (4x07)
Azure (4x13)
Pigsy (2x10)
Ne Zha (3x01, 3x10)
Now, with how often it's brought up the ways in which Wukong has failed MK...don't you think MK should have a turn here? MK gets close in 2x07, but there he's yelling at Macaque disguised as Wukong, so obviously that doesn't count. We are long overdue for MK himself laying out all of the hurt and anger he's been holding onto for 4 seasons—that itself needs to happen, whether it's through a physical fight or not.
And after finally, EVERYTHING is out in the open, they can build their relationship stronger than it was before. I, like you, really do hope Wukong and MK (or even MK and Mei tbh) fight together against our last big bad. Honestly watching them fight together in 4x13 was so fulfilling, seeing them bounce off one another and work together just like MK always wanted.
However, I am also ready for them to tear each other apart (MK for SWK literally, but SWK for MK probably metaphorically lol) and then build each other back up, both of them fully accepting each other, flaws and all. Just because you love each other doesn't mean you won't hurt one another, you know? Just because you love someone doesn't mean they're not flawed. And in some ways, I think both Sun Wukong and MK need to accept that fact about each other. Like, this confrontation needs to be MESSY and RAW, and I think a climatic anime battle is a great way to do that (4x13 MK V Azure fight proving my point perfectly, or honestly even something like Samadhi Fire Mei in 3x10).
But those are just my thoughts!

I skimmed over the Dante's Inferno wiki article and now I am ready to make some god damn Ultrakill Act III predictions babyyyy.
So obviously liberties have been taken, but overall Ultrakill so far was surprisingly faithful to Divine Comedy's portrayal of Hell. Wrath and Limbo being the standout "to a tea" ones.
7th layer of Hell is Violence. In Inferno it is devided into 3 rings itself. However the third ring, a scorching desert for those who committed violence against God, was already integrated into Greed in Ultrakill.
This lives us with 1st ring and its boiling rivers of blood for those who committed violence against their neighbors, and 2nd ring for those who committed violence against themselves and are turned into infertile trees harassed by harpies.
Thus I expect 7th layer to be mostly forrest themed, with rivers of blood for the deadly "floor" like water was in 5-2. Specifically, I expect it to draw from the Japanese Aokigahara, the suicide forrest. Somehow. Maybe one of the levels is going to happen in a suspended tree house city type location, and another will be rafting down a river.
Additionally, both Limbo and Greed have introduced a flying enemy to the roster - Drones and Virtues respectfully. So I suspect Violence is going to continue that and add Harpies, who I think will be husks, if only because I can hardly imagine an Ultrakill demon flying. Maybe they'll be somewhat tengu-like in appearance, or just Filth with jetpacks. Who knows.
7-s will 100% be a Duck Hunt reference. I can feel it just as surely as I could a fishing minigame for 5-s.
Moving on. I straight up have no idea what Hakkita will do with Fraud. None at all. There is like a fucked up city there in Inferno, but Ultrakill already moved that to Lust. Other then that, maybe it'll be a volcano level, idk why. I do find the potential to have a surviving Council member as a boss here extremely exciting, although unlikely.
Maybe 8-s will be an Ac Attorney reference, because it would fit Fraud.
Moving on again.
Treachery, the last level of the Act and of the game too most likely. The gauntlet. The one where P-3 is.
Oh, Treachery. In Inferno, it is a frozen lake with sinners encased in ice. I thus expect the 9th layer to be ice themed, although since it is The Gauntlet™ there won't be new mechanics and therefore no ice physics, don't worry. But we do lack a white level, and blood splatters will look beautifully on the snow.
1st Round of Treachery punishes "Traitors of Their Kindred", and I am like 80% that either 6-1 or its ost will get called exactly that, since this is such an Ultrakill name.
2nd Round of Treachery is for traitors of their country. I think it fits Gabriel pretty well, considering he never really betrayed God of you think about it. He went against the Council. And yes, obviously a Gabe fight in 6-2, is there even a qestion about it?
Very low chance, but maybe there is 6-3 where we kill Hell itself, since it's sentient and all.
Now for P-3. Take out the crack kids, we'll need it for this one.
3rd Round of Treachery is for traitors of guests and I think it will correlate to the gauntlet before P-3 boss. This in not the part we need drugs for.
And that is because in Inferno the 4th and final Round of Treachery, at the very bottom of Hell reserved for those who betrayed God Himself, Satan, aka Lucifer, is encased in ice and is chewing Judas.
For Ultrakill that means that we have them fucking options for our Flesh and Prime.
For Flesh it could be just another container cube. But since this is the very bottom of Hell, and Hell is alive, it could also be The Heart of Hell, or something. It could also, hear me out, be Satan. In Inferno, Lucifer is basically Judas' flesh prison, in fact, I am half convinced that the imagery of Judas being chewed by the Devil is the very reason why Flesh Cubes have teeth.
Our first two Primes were ancient Greek Kings. And the Prime of P-3 might be another ancient Greek king who I am sleeping on entirely.
But I think it is pretty safe to assume that this pattern is getting broken, just like we are not going to fight V2 in act 3 either. As far as I know there is no Greek king more into defying gods then Sisyphus and the game requires escalation.
What is more important about Primes to me is that both we have so far are enemies of God. We have a peaceful protestor in Minos, then a revolutionary in Sisyphus. So the Arch Enemy of God in Lucifer seems like a plausibility for our next ass wooping.
I am personally more in favor on Judas for that role though. I mean, he is kind of the guy who managed to get God killed, if you think about it, a natural progression from Sisyphus who tried but failed. Also Judas hung himself, so him being the King of Violence, specifically the forest part of it, makes sense.
This concludes level predictions.
We are also getting Red variants for 4 weapons, a new Arm and probably an Alt version, which is ridiculous. Absolutely zero idea how the new guns will be like. Imo S.R.S is already pushing the bloatedness of our arsenal, but Hakkita is obviously a super genius, who made the ball work, so will see.
As for the arm, we are defo getting it from 7-4, and because of the colour, my bet is that we are ripping it off of the Real Swordsmachine, the twist being that the ones in Prelude were copycats afterall, explaining why there are suddenly so many of them in 6-1. Maybe it's V-0 or something, the machine that spearheaded the modular design approach, or the first blood-powered machine, period.
I also, for literally zero reason other then "what else could it be", expect the new Alt to be a Slug variant for Shotgun. A Winchester lever action rifle sort of deal.
Ye, rant over, I don't have a concise way to wrap this up.
