Guess I'll Finally share my Pretty Cure (or Precure) O.C

Meet Cure Queen. A character that "shatters" the formula for the Precure universe. I do have a colored version, but I don't feel comfortable sharing that yet...

However, I can share is that the design is originally create on the Doll Divine website. (More specifically, from the Magical Girl MAKEUP! by Inkscribble from DeviantArt? Ya got to give some credit where its due!) I hope this brings a bit of clarity to help reimagine this character.

My friend @snarky-art suggested on our Discord server that we make our versions in Precure, so I present to you Cure Sagú! It is inspired by the Brazilian dessert Sagú, which is made with boiled cassava starch balls, and red wine is very common. Milk or different juices can also be used in cooking, but I personally prefer the version with just grape juice, I don't like the alcohol flavor.

Some PreCure oc's I made semi-recently? The lead cure, cure serene (right) and Cure Sleuth (left) I love the designs of both but I think I could have done the art for Cure Sleuth a bit better The theme I was going for with this series was detectives! And I imagine the name for the fanseries being "Investigators! PreCure" magical girl designs are SO HARD to make but super rewarding! It really is character design fundementals being pushed incredibly hard and honestly? I think it makes for great art practice! what if toei had the balls to make kiriya a midseason instead of pretending to kill him off halfway through the show design notes: — his title, "shadow of destiny", draws a contrast between "shadow" (kage) and "darkness" (yami) as a way to show he is something in between light and dark. "destiny" is what he was talking about all through episode 21. it's only natural he'd make that his calling card as a cure — "shade" refers to shadows and also colors, as in all the shades in between (cure) black and (cure) white — because of this, cure shade's design goes from dark at the top to light at the bottom — he's a green cure. nagisa is pink, honoka is blue, and hikari is yellow, so green works really well if he joins the existing trio — his hair spikes up really high as a reference to poisony's hair in episode 20 — the tunic skirt thing, epaulettes, and the little cape are based on the elite four from max heart (circulas, uraganos, viblis, baldes) — the cape wraps around him like a toga because i didn't know what to do for the top half of his outfit. it's kinda like illkubo's monk robe thing — he wears a light grey version of the dotsuku zone guys' skin-tight body suits, but only as an undershirt. who says nagisa has to be the only one? — gauntlets snake around his arms like belzei's do, only with hearts on them — his belt has smiling yellow zakenna eyes and jagged lines to reference a zakenna's mouth. the diamond-shaped belt buckle is like the prism stone necklaces the dark five all wear, only much larger and with the zakenna's "angry veins" — "itamenna" comes from "itameru", "to hurt". the zakennas come from "fuzakeru na", "don't mess with me", so "itamenna" sounds like "don't hurt me". — itamennas are dark green and have smiling eyes. zakennas are dark purple and have angry eyes. — when i was watching max heart i noticed that hikari's special attack, "heartiel action", leaves the monsters in horrible pain and freezes them in place. it was super aggressive for a "light" move. so i wanted to give kiriya a "dark" move that was surprisingly defensive. itamenna barrier works like the seeds of darkness's freaky shadow shield from episode 42, basically a dark force field that blocks incoming attacks, except (for obvious reasons) it won't make you turn into a freaky ghost thing if you stay behind it for too long — his boots are a lot like honoka's, but with green accents instead of blue. this is because he's in love. the only valid cishet guy in this series besides satoru ngl

My Precure Fan Series is NOT DEAD! (JUST a Hiatus)

Took me this flipping long to share this for the first time in MONTHS. Just life in general got busy as heck. Now I'm debating if I should even continue this "project". ☹️ Both for My Pretty Cure OC, Cure Queen, and her teammates. Only time will tell.

✧Introducing my Precure fanseries✧ ⭒Characters part 1⭒

Background: I have had this series for almost 13 years so I know some names have been used in the official series, I know some themes, weapons and other stuff has been used in the official series but I simply don’t care(/j). They’re special to me and aside from redesigns this fanseries has barely changed in all those years and I don’t want to change something just because it was used in an official series. My child self put a lot of work into this series and I still have a lot of the VERY old sketches so I don’t want to ruin baby me’s work :)

✭Kanemaru Xin | Cure Twinkle✭ Xin is a young girl who lives a quiet life with her grandparents who live and work in as jewellery repair shop. One day a small creature, Takara, appears from an old mirror asking for her help. Xin is now the legendary warrior Cure Twinkle and has to help Takara find the other precure and the crystalheart shards to restore the power of the royal kingdom. She loves accessories and deco, she often gives her friends handmade jewellery and wants to take over her grandparent's shop one day. 

✭Hoshino Shion | Cure Sparkle✭ Shion is the son of two famous tennis players. He goes to the same school as Xin but they're not in the same class. Due to his parent's fame he often feels like he has to continue their legacy but secretly he wants to be a fashion designer and model. At first he was against being a cure but after realising he finally has a group of people that don't want to be his friend because of his parents and he can help people he agrees. He doesn't really get along with Dia (Cure Glitter) and they often end up arguing with each other.

✭Yoshinaga Tsuki | Cure Glimmer✭ Tsuki is the daughter of a popular hotel chain owner. She is obsessed with ghosts and spirit hunting. She loves going out and having fun but her parents are extremely strict and expects her to be a perfectly behaved child. She is in the same class as Xin but they didn't really talk before becoming a cure. Tsuki loves being a cure and thinks it's super fun. She is loud and bold but has a big heart. Her love for ghosts usually makes people wary of her until they get to know her.

There’s still more I need to introduce again but this is it for now! Also if anyone wants to do a fancure art trade feel free to reach out because I love drawing other people’s cures! Also I used to post them a LOT so if you were in the Precure community on DA or Amino(I hope you’re okay) years ago you may have seen them,,,

This is another remake from October 2013. I don't remember very well why I drew it, but I suspect it was because I liked her character a lot, and because of my eagerness to make drawings a month before to upload them on specific dates (? (her birthday is November 20).

But well, that aside, I felt that like the first one, it was a "quick" drawing. And even though it's not the best drawing I've ever done, I really liked how bright it turned out in the end jahgajs. Since it's a Precure, I feel like the sparkles look good on it.
