tim and nastya should have been at the club. toy soldier worked at the club (speakeasy) and this seemed to have no noticeable effect on it. jonny was at the club (casino) and it was actually the source of most of his problems. i think the rest of them would have found a way to ruin their lives regardless of location

#mine#the pokemon games pre-gen3 were just. i'm sorry they were bad#quarantine crystal spoiled me the mons there had good movesets and everything#what do you mean the only non-normal type attacking move electrode learns leveling up in gen 2 is ROLLOUT.#with rhydon it's EARTHQUAKE#at least hgss unsucked gen 2 as much as it could for the time#but that's not much of a feat considering how much it was very much First Game In The Series After A Prototype#after i finish playing wasteland i'm probably not gonna touch gen 2 fangames/romhacks again#nothing is gonna be better than quarantine crystal to me

anyways yeah im just. putting everything with the wilds era into a quarantine parallel timeline jesus christ. its so wildly different and contradictory (and kinda just. worse imo) to the already established stuff that it really just works for me to just make it some weird parallel timeline to the pre-existing one

would love to do research into just how much of an uptick theres been in haunted house horror content since the pandemic started, like, numerically
#kaylee.txt#like obviously it makes sense bc. a large percent of the population being stuck in their houses in quarantine + a general sense of#paranoia and fear = perfect recipe for thinking a lot about haunted house stories#(i am obviously not exempt from this lmao i was obsessed w haunted houses pre-pandemic too but not to the same extent)#but im so curious what the numbers are for like. what % of horror books/movies released in a given year are haunted house-related#and if thats changed a significant amount#bc it FEELS like it has. i went to barnes and noble yesterday and there were no less than 4 haunted house books on the new releases display

Logged on to Apex and felt an immediate joy just from seeing the lobby
#vark posts#Mirage ive missed u sm....#i havent seriously played apex in so long but its so so special to me#the titanfall universe is like in my blood#i remember playing the beta of the first game as a kid and my dad and i being so excited and counting down the days til it released#we pre ordered it and i had a huge titanfall poster in my room that came with the game#took me a year or so to play the 2nd game for whatever reason i cant remember#and its one of the few pieces of media that has gotten me close to crying#i stubbornly didnt touch Apex for ages cause i was pissed they made a battle royale instead of a 3rd game lol#i cant remember why i started playing it but it was late summer of 2020 aka peak quarantine insanity LOL so i latched on so hard#i really miss my peak apex days even tho i would never in a million years go back to that time#im probs gonna be so bad now but im gonna play the halloween mode#where is shadow royale im shaking the bars of my cage#also manifesting i dont get too many toxic gamer bros#its SOOO hard finding fruity ppl in fps games istg

And now I’m thinking of going to one tonight.#Quarantine has messed up my brain so thoroughly. it made me forget that I cannot function without at least 5 human interactions a day.#I’m honestly feeling so much better this year now that I’m in in-person classes again#But that is not enough. My husband impulse bought Battleship for us recently. My god that was a good night.
I think it's important that people play card and board games with each other
#personal#my friends will sometimes do board game days but they happened more often pre covid#during quarantine we started playing over discord and never stopped#now we have virtual game nights more frequently than we ever had real board game days#that’s not to say it’s better than board games I’m just celebrating the joy of sharing a game with friends

Is it sad that I don't have any pictures of me from before the quarantine?
#Because I just went thru both my and my mum's phone and there is literally no picture of me from before the covid quarantine#Like I'm pretty sure the only hardcopy of a picture I have is that one photo frame my friend gifted me of us on my birthday pre-covid#And that's it.#🥺
