I take good care of my cat. I take decent care of myself. I know when to fight. I know when to relax. I am going to pass my last two nursing school pre recs while working full time. I am going to get into nursing school. I am competent and capable. I am worthy of a friend's time, not as a transaction, but because I am an interesting and worthy human being.

Week 5 - The Studying Never Ends

Hi everyone! After 3 weeks studying for my patho exam 1, I am now studying for patho exam 2. This exam is going to take place next week on Thursday, meaning I have 10 days from today to study. Meaning, that a lot of my time will be spent in the library, at my desk at home, and sleeping. In addition, for intro to nursing, we’ve had a pretty easy week so far. We’ve learned about nursing and its ethics. As for psychology, we have started to raise our virtual children. It's a program where we raise virtual children and learn about the development of children as we raise them! So far there aren't any updates except for constantly studying!

Week 4- Stressing Over Nothing

Hi everyone! This week’s theme so far is stressing over nothing! I’ve been in and out of the library stressed over studying for a statistics exam while also studying for Patho. It’s definitely been a stressful week so far and it’s not even Friday! Here’s the update in my classes: Patho: learning a new entire module every class. Learning about fluid imbalances and how to manage them for patients. 

Psychology: Learning about the development of children’s way of thinking. We had a visitor come in on Tuesday talk about Pathways to Healing which is an organization that helps survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in the area. I have linked them if anyone is interested! 

Intro to Nursing: We’re currently learning about the career options in nursing and how many different fields you can go into with a BSN (Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing).
