shuichi doesn't have much going for him. he's quiet and awkward, doesn't have any friends and he's obsessed with danganronpa, to the point where people think he's ‘creepy’ or a ‘freak’

nobody even bothers to talk to him or even acknowledge his existence! except for you…

shuichi is so startled when you first approach him. you offer him a smile, greet him whenever you see him and eventually even talk to him about danganronpa!

at first, shuichi thinks you're just pretending to like him! but as weeks pass and you're still so kind to him, he realizes you're as kind of a person as you seem to be!

he falls head over heels for you upon that realization and while he still has an obsessive love for danganronpa, you become his new obsession!

shuichi begins to stalk you and learn everything he can about you, so that he can always react the way he thinks you'd like it best when you talk to him!

he couldn't bear to lose you, to lose your smile and that kindness of yours that brightens up his every day, so he practically studies you, until he learns just how to behave to be liked by you!

after all, you're all that matters! even if he has to change everything about himself, as long as he keeps you in his life, it'll be worth it!

The way you drew Number One with long hair reminds me a bit of Kyoko Kirigiri from the Future arc. Especially the tied hair 🤔

Ohhh, they really do look alike here, I didn't mean to make him look like her, I just wanted to make his hair different. This looks interesting, Kyoko's look here is really pretty. Maybe I'd make content for both of them? I've never drawn the characters from Danganronpa 1 and 2, I've always been more focused on v3.

My interpretation of him may be a little different than yours, sorry for anything. Maybe he could act like Kyoko did in the beginning? I still think he would be friendly and kind of silly at times when he wasn't solving a case, although he was always busy, so it would be hard to see that silly side of him. Was the younger version of him more open than the older one?

He deserves to have more content, and it would be interesting to see more of him in a sequel, like, because not knowing his real name is a factor, post-game Yuma could be well explored, be it in a spin off, DLC or even an anime, I know it would be very dreamy of me to want to see him, Makoto and the old cast again, but it doesn't matter, right? Even in animes with episodes about the characters' pasts, novels, and official mangas, I really hope he has a good cameo in the next games, if Master Detective becomes a trilogy + an anime. And also, new products and collaborations, right? We will welcome new content from Master Detective Archives with open arms.

I wanted to make more content about this "Yuma", he solves mysteries, but he is a mystery to us, why is that? Not knowing his name or his past is the case to be solved, whether it is Kurumi as the protagonist or a new character connected to WDO.

Miscellaneous Rei Mekaru Headcanons (DRA):

Rei abstains from ingesting any sweets and/or junk food; she views them as harmful to her wellbeing and regards anyone who excessively indulges themselves with junk food as disgusting and contemptuous.

In a non-despair AU, Rei would’ve eventually befriended with the Sunshine Trio (Satsuki, Haru, Teruya) after relentless pursuit from Satsuki. Satsurei supremacy y��all. 🧡💙

Also I just like the idea of Rei and Haru being bros. Something’s very amusing about a horny stoner pilot and an upright intellectual jiving.

Rei is pan-demiromantic apothisexual. I don’t make the rules. 💖💛💙💜🤍🩶🖤

Rei can speak multiple languages, with the two most obvious being English and Japanese.

I’ve mentioned this before, but I think Rei would absolutely despise insects, possibly bordering on Entomophobia.

Speaking of, here’s a few phobias I think she could have: atelophobia (adversion to imperfection), mysophobia (adversion to contamination and germs), and haphephobia (adversion to touch).

Despite her hatred, Rei does occasionally fantasize about what her life could’ve been like if her parents hadn’t abandoned her. She could’ve enjoyed all the love, warmth and belonging that normal children get to experience- but she shakes those thoughts away and focuses her attention elsewhere, such as reading, researching, working, etc.

Hates rap and most mainstream music. Listens to classical shit.

Her beautiful orange hair and eyes are a result of incomplete genetic dominance; her mother possessed yellow hair and eyes and her father red hair and eyes. Additionally, she inherited her poor eyesight from both parents.

Rei is without a doubt the smartest student in her class aside from Yamato; and I estimate her actual IQ to be between 120 to 130, based on the fact that she taught at Harvard University prior to attending Hope’s Peak Academy.

Has cried only twice; the first when her parents left her on the streets and the second during the 6th class trial of DRA.

Has never once celebrated her birthday, sadly. 😢 She sees it as an unproductive activity and that her time is better spent on other things.

korekiyo is a loner, who's having a hard time making friends with similar interests as him

even if it wasn't for his interests that are a bit odd for a boy his age, his looks aren't helping him much either

he's always wearing a surgical mask and gloves and he can't get himself to get his hair cut

yet somehow you didn't seem to mind all those things! 

korekiyo was happy that he found someone who treated him normal and even happier when that someone wanted him to be their boyfriend

once in a relationship with korekiyo, you start to learn more about him and why he is the way he is

he's doesn't like being too close to other people, nor does he like being touched by them, after some bad experiences he had in his life

the gloves prevent him from having to have skin to skin contact with other people, while his mask is mostly there to make him feel more comfortable

it takes korekiyo a while until he starts to hold hands with you and it takes him even longer until he takes the gloves of for the first time

after a while though, he doesn't mind holding your hands without gloves anymore, having grown used to your hands intertwined with his and the warmth emerging from them

he even starts to enjoy being this close to you…

he'll still keep on his mask for most of the times though, only pulling it down when he wants to kiss you and pulling it back up right after

in regards to his hair, you are the only one who gets to cut it! he doesn't want other people touching you and he doesn't mind if you're bad at cutting his hair – the act alone matters!
