-Aswell as being the landlord, Xisuma is a bee keeper!

-While the top floor of the apartment IS very rundown, Xbs room is super stark from the rest of the hallway! I imagine it being super homy and welcoming despite everything else around it.

-I think x’s bees are on top of the appt where there is a roof garden. 👉👈

-Joe and Cleo's apartments are right next to each other, and if they end up showering at the same time they sing over dramatic shower duets (much to the annoyance of all the other hermits. those walls are thin.)

-The map district is just an old printer they have in the basement. When Cleo went to write the Herald on the computer there she found the Mumbo for Mayor file and had to report about it! (-🤔)

-Grian is actually a really great cook! he doesn’t cook for others very often but when he does he tends to get a lot of compliments (based on the fact that irl grian is a good cook, according to ren). In stark constrast, X is a very poor cook. Not in the ‘burns everything he touches’ kind of way, but in the ‘most bland and underwhelming chicken you’ve ever tasted in your life’ way -sapph

-oh, the hermits DEF get "Hamilton but everyone is played by Impulse". they get it every day. usually late at night or at 7 am sharp.

-Once Grian messes up and got a ton of eggs, and instead of returning them, he just did them around the others apartments and claimed it wasn’t him.

-In regards of that post of Jellie sneaking out of Scar's room. A hermit has probably tried to reenact that video of that russian guy ["Mooommm there's a weird cat outside! Looks like grandma the f*king thing!] Whenever they see Jellie just chilling on their window or at their door. -Dott.

-Grian plays saxophone; it started as a new way to annoy the other Hermits but he's actually gotten quite good at it.

-Hypno has a collection of old pocket watches.

-Joe answers any question asked within earshot. He is generally correct, even when the questions are oddly specific or about concerning topics. Sometimes he knows more about the mafia and gang stuff than actual members. When questioned on how he knows this, he cites reading books, sometimes specifically his time in Keralis' library, even when Keralis knows he doesn't have books that say that. His answers are also frequently very confusing and absurd, and make less sense the more you think about it. The hermits learned to not think too much about his answers after a while.

-Keralis and Xisuma still have the lookie lookie at my alpaca store but the alpacas are actually giant stuffed alpacas. Some hermits are too short to reach the bags on the alpacas and need to ride them to purchase stuff. Occasionally Keralis places an alpaca peeking out of a dark corner of someone's room if they accidentally leave their door unlocked. It scares the life out of Bdubs every single time.

-Joe will generally correctly answer any questions within earshot, and any means /any/. he usually won't crack if you're chatting with him directly, but sometimes when overhearing theorizing & murmurs in the halls, he /will/ pop in to spill the tea. tl;dr: hc that joe is lowkey a gossip.

-TFC has an assortment of different gems and cool looking stones in his room and if a Hermit asks where he got a specific one, he gives a unique story for it.

-zed’s “cave of contraptions” in the basement is a lot less..... sinister-looking when you actually turn the light on. It’s just a messy spare room with random parts, discarded or failed projects in random spots, and some magic kits. One time when he took a hermit down there, he just ended up making them watch him do card tricks for a half hour. -sapph

-Jevin when he cooks somehow always end up with either Jello or an other type of gelatinous meal. He once tried baking and made wiggly cookies. Nobody knows how he did it.

-Jessassin lived in the complex, but far away from the others. He was (obviously) one of the assassins from a gang, but nobody knows. He sneaky.

-The hermits' bases are actually lego sets. (With some exceptions like Iskall's omega tree of doom being a bonsai tree etc.) (-@smolpotato187.)

-Hermits always have a game night every week and the most popular game is DND. Xisuma is the dungeon master.

-Grian loves to hide at the stairwell of the apartment cause whenever he sings his voice echoes. Ren and Wels also does the same but they prefer to sing in their own rooms.

-Stress's room is at the same hall as the Grian, Mumbo, and Iskall. Stress being a sweetheart sometimes brings cookies to the boys' doors and help them around. Since she is on that hall, she is already used to Grian's pranks, Mumbo's spoon moments and yes, Iskall sneaking around in her room.

-Since Grian sings a lot on the stairwell and his voice echoes, I can imagine someone waking up in the middle of the night getting spooked cause they are hearing ‘disembodied voices’ in the air.

-Cleo is v awkward on her own and gives pep talks to herself every morning and pats her own back bfore she goes to bed. This is to ensure she always has some good quality conversation with any hermits she encounters.

-As a callback to s6 build-off, Stress’ room is in-between Grian’s and Mumbo’s, and occasionally the two boys would hear singing from Stress’ room. Too bad Iskall misses out on it.

-Maybe false is good at fencing? I don't watch her, but I know she's good at PvP.

-Speaking of time (the hypno one) maybe the apartments are separated according to their timezones? This may not work based on previous asks or just better ideas, but it did pop in into my head.

-Maybe Iskall doesn't have a robot eye thing on his face, but rather a pair of glasses, of which one of the lens' is coloured blue. He liked the look of it so much that when he got a new pair of glasses, he ordered for one side to be green. Either that or he comissioned some kind of futuristic monocle for the hell of it. ⚘ midoriya blankly stared at his dorm room ceiling, sleep not coming so easily to him than it had the last few nights.

⚘ he exhaled outwardly and looked at the time on his phone.

⚘ 01:23am

⚘ a knock drew his attention to the door, his face twisting into a look of confusion.

⚘ what could anyone want at this time at night?

⚘ the knock didn't sound urgent so he doubted it was an issue with the league.

⚘ he rolled out of bed and opened the door and came face to face with your saddened gaze.

⚘ “(y/n)? what’s wrong?” he asked while you buried your head deep into his bed shirt.

⚘ you two haven’t been together that long so seeing you like this came as a surprise to him.

⚘ you always looked so happy when you were with him, but now...

⚘ “i-i’m sorry, it’s just,” you sniffled and turned your head away from him, “I don’t think i can sleep alone tonight...”

⚘ you wanted to sleep with him in his room?!

⚘ it’s not like midoriya didn’t expect this at some point but the thought of you curled up next to his body sleeping made him blush something fierce.

⚘ you noticed his change of behavior at your words and immediately started to backtrack, “it’s f-fine if you don’t want to! I-”

⚘ “no, it’s ok! don’t even worry about it!” his hands raised defensively, his voice still nervous and high-pitched.

⚘ your sniffles brought his attention back to your current state of distress and he pulled you in for hug.

⚘ “(y/n)... are you ok?”

⚘ “i just- get a little homesick sometimes, you know? i guess i’m still not used to sleeping in the dorms.” you rubbed your arm awkwardly at your confession.

⚘ you looked down, trying to not meet his eyes anymore as you continued to speak.

⚘ “i know it’s s-stupid, i shouldn’t be bothering you about all of this...” you turned around back towards the door, “i should just go-”

⚘ “wait-!” midoriya reached out for your hand stopping you from leaving.

⚘ he turned you back towards him and pulled you closer, leaning into you to kiss away the tears.

⚘ you were glad that it was dark in his room otherwise he would’ve seen how your cheeks tinged in embarrassment at the small gesture.

⚘ “hey,” you brought your face up to look at him, delighting how he ran his thumb over your cheek sweetly.

⚘ “never think that your problems don’t matter, i’ll always be here for you.”

⚘ the room was dark except for the images flickering across the television screen, your head leaning against your boyfriend’s shoulder.

⚘ it was movie night.

⚘ your eyes glanced over to your phone again with what had to be the umpteenth time that night, and yet, with the same result as before, you refocused your eyes back to the tv.

⚘ shoto sighed and leaned over to grab the remote, pausing the movie you two had been watching.

⚘ “shoto, what’re y-”

⚘ “you haven’t stopped looking at your phone since the movie started.”

⚘ “oh...” 

⚘ while you might’ve thought you had been unnoticeable, it seems shoto had picked up on every time your gaze had left the television.

⚘ eyes downcast into your lap, you refused to meet his. your hands fidgeted with a small thread on your shirt.

⚘ “is it (f/n)?”

⚘ you couldn’t stop thinking about them, about what you could’ve done to help. it all seemed so much clearer in your head.

⚘ but in reality, it couldn’t have been less than clear. everyone was running past you two on the platform, the train derailing at the sudden force of the villain slamming into it from behind. 

⚘ it was the first real villain situation you two would have to deal with on your work study, you should’ve been ready.

⚘ but you weren’t, and in your mistake, you had put your friend in the hospital, a lingering uncertainty in the air of when they would wake up.

⚘ “wh-what if they wake up and i’m not there?” your voice wavered and your eyes started to tear up, “i need to be there for them, i should’ve...”

⚘ the onslaught of tears came rushing down your face like a faucet, your body heaving with every broken cry that you unleashed. 

⚘ shoto hushed you into his embrace, rocking you against his chest and softly rubbing circles into your back.

⚘ “look at me, (y/n).” he lifted your chin up to focus on his face, while he still held his usual stoic demeanor, his eyes showed more love and adoration than anyone.

⚘ “nothing that happened is your fault, if it wasn’t for your quick thinking (f/n) wouldn’t have even made it to the hospital.”

⚘ “if it wasn’t for me, (f/n) wouldn’t have to be in the hospital...”

⚘ “don’t say that.” 

⚘ he leaned down to kiss away your tears, trailing his lips all the way down until they connected with yours tenderly.

⚘ he broke away and rested his chin on your head, pushing you closer to nuzzle into his chest.

⚘ “you are enough.”

⚘ you hadn’t noticed the tears cascading down your face until a gentle hand reached out to wipe them away. 

⚘ mirio...

⚘ he was smiling, but... why?

⚘ you should be the one comforting him, not the other way around.

⚘ he had lost everything he worked so hard to achieve, all of it... gone. and despite that, he still sat there with a smile as bright as the sun.

⚘ pressing you further into his chest, mirio leaned down to place a gentle kiss on your forehead. 

⚘ ”no...” you whimpered pathetically into his chest, your tears drenching through the fabric of his shirt.

⚘ “(y/n)?” mirio said, pulling away from you  to look at your tear stained face.

⚘ “i’m supposed to be the one there for you, not the other way around... so, why do i feel like i’m more upset about this than you are?!” 

⚘ he opened his mouth to speak but you cut him off.

⚘ “i know you act like you’re ok to everyone, to the girl, to yourself. but you can’t act like that to me.”

⚘ your voice broke as you continued, whimpering a little as your heart clenched tight in your chest.

⚘ “it’s ok to cry...” you sobbed, every word you spoke wracking your body with a monumental wave of anguish.”...i’m right here.”

⚘ and for once, it was you who held mirio tight against you as he trembled in your arms, tears streaming down his cheeks.

⚘ and somewhere, deep inside, you felt happy.

⚘ you felt happy that he was finally showing you everything he had been keeping bottled up this whole time.

⚘ you ran your fingers through his hair as he continued to cry.

⚘ you two stayed like that, with him in your arms as you comforted him with words of love and assurance.

⚘ after he had calmed down, he looked up at you, and for a split second you could’ve sworn you saw apprehension in his eyes.

⚘ he kissed away at your tear stained cheeks, peppering them all over your face.

⚘ “what did i just say about letting me comfort you?”

⚘ “you can let me have this though, can’t you...” it didn’t sound like a question, more like a plea coming from him.

⚘ “just,” his struggled forming the next few words, almost like he was scared, “just promise me we’ll get through this together...”

⚘ he buried his head into your shoulder and held you tight, afraid to let go.

⚘ “i promise.”

Imma do yesterday’s post now.

So yesterday a lot of things came to a head.

I realised I had to complete two projects within 28 May. I am also simaltaneously doing an intern for an NGO and I am trying to study for my GRE exam(keyword: trying).

And well I panicked. For a while.

Then it was back to business.

Then I found out that two of my classmates decided to double cross me to get a project with one of my favourite professors in my entire college. And I found from another friend whom I was editors of a magazine with, so we don’t do secrets.

Point is, betrayal hurts. I really wanna snuff their nonsense out of existence... but I guess that’s professional competition huh? When ex-friends can become a threat to a career... we don’t take that silently.

We fight back and make our project proposal that much more appealing than ever, it’s got to be miles away from what anyone’s got to have submitted.

I’ll do it.

As for the project with my friend, I have to get ready for a call with my friend by tonight with some writing done.

As well as have an 8 AM call today with my group for that project proposal for our professor.

Man things just escalated heavily yesterday... I can’t believe it.

Now I have to stay strong. Work for my projects, every single one of them.

Hey, chamomile tea? I kinda overslept? Got a solid 8 hours yesterday night. Which I don’t know if it’s because of the tea or because I slept early around 10 and was woken up late, around 7(usually I’m woken up at 6 itself)... I’ll have to do more experiments (yay).

One of a few that’s been sitting in my drafts. Finally found the courage (and time) to post this. It’s so unrefined. Unfinished. Raw. No structure whatsoever, just writing how I felt. Always thought it’d never see the light of day, but here we are. I still remember writing this. I was in my room by myself at night with the lights off, going through it. Darkness, anxiety, a lost soul. I felt disconnected. Along with all my personal problems and what felt like the weight of the world on my shoulders, the world itself was also in panic. Matter fact, it still is. But I remember everything that was going on at this time. The pandemic, the police killings, the election, the economic crisis, etc. Writing it out was very therapeutic. Reading it out now and seeing growth within me is even more so. Proud to be in a more positive space and mindset now, or at the very least, trying to be. Gotta give myself credit for that. The battle continues.

U know how X said he meet Mumbo when he was 14? Now imagine current HC but with a feral ass 14yo red stone master. Like turn ur back on him and he builds massive tnt dubers and piston doors to hell, he needs constant adult supervision or else. He is still a spoon of corse, but a fourteen year old one ~ 🥝

The fact that Mumbo is a little kid but still on par with adults when compared to his skill, may lead to people thinking he's a child prodigy when it comes to minecraft and redstone. As a wise tumblr user once said, "my favourite interpretation of Mumbo is Artemis Fowl but with a moustache." And you know what? That fits for this headcanon.
