Scooped Michael staring down in horror at a pumpkin he’s meant to carve: “I- I have to do what with the insides?”

Henry, who assumed wrong this would be a good bonding experience: “You got to scoop them out.”

Michael angst idea…

He can’t sleep since being scooped. Like, at all. His body physically won’t let him.

But he still curls up in bed every night, just like everyone else. He doesn’t have dreams so much as half-hallucinations of monsters in the dark. But that’s all dreams really are, anyway, right? He’s just like everyone else. And if he gets out of bed every morning and rewraps the bandages over his wounds that will never heal, well, that’s normal too, right? He’s just like everybody else. The voices he hears, the visions that have him screaming himself awake when he was never asleep, the gashes in his rotting purple skin that will never stop weeping blood.

He’s just like everybody else.

I have always adored the idea that Henry is like an uncle figure to the Afton kids, especially Michael. He’s probably known Mike since he was born- that’s his nephew in everything but blood. But then everything happens and…once Henry figures out that William is the one who ruined his entire life, looking at Michael is so hard. He loves Mike, but (even post-scoop) he reminds him so. MUCH. Of William, and it really really hurts

Now I'm just thinking what glamrock Freddy's reaction to the underground scooper would be, maybe he would see it, and stumble back. Maybe he'd quickly check his stomach hatch. He doesn't know why he did it. Maybe he'd glance over at the scooping room window in a quick pang of horror. Maybe he didn't know what he was looking for in the glass. But maybe the feeling occurs to him that he's been in this kind of situation before. Surprisingly, Freddy has a thought that the outcome of this weird dejavu is the same as it always was.

He is full of many, many, wires.

This time, he thinks, they aren't going anywhere.
