first of all, he’s a little shit. this is obvious information. no matter what breed of cat he is, he’s going to be SO annoying. all the time

he acts all normal and cool in front of other people, hides his ears and tail and such. goes home to you, takes off his hat and everything, and runs around for 10 minutes

he is a grown man alright. but even he can’t resist the crushing temptation of chasing a laser. he uses his path of elation as an excuse to hide the fact that he REALLY wants to catch the laser

playtime is all the time actually. he’s climbing on everything you own, chasing things around. you have to buy so many cat toys because he keeps destroying them

people think you just own a really energetic and spoiled cat. and you roll with it, and then silently turn to that stupid little blue haired guy standing not too far away from you

he’s gnawing on AND clawing on a ton of stuff. of course he knows better than to screw up your couch or chairs, so he sadly begs you with the saddest eyes you’ve ever seen for a scratching post. just a teeny one! doesn’t even have to be that fancy!

you (of course) indulge in his silliness and give him the scratching post and dear GOD it is RUINED in a day. his claws are incredibly sharp and long.. no wonder why everything you get him usually gets destroyed! at least it’s a good weapon?

you have to hold him down to take a bath. he’s still very clean don’t get me wrong, but he’ll be whining so pathetically if you ask him to go anywhere near a bathtub. ooh but the moment YOU step into the bathtub to relax, suddenly he’s asking you if he can join

yeah his eyes dilate <3 it’s very cute at first because they always went big when he looked at you! how sweet! but it turned horrifying when you woke up in the middle of the night and just saw him HOVERING over you with huge huge eyes (he apologized)

ok, jour is from the cat tribe, but cale just doesn't know that, so he doesn't have the growth of a cat property, so he can't turn into a cat or enter in beast mode, he even had any growth phase.

And he just doesn't know that because jour somehow sealed his cat side and he discovers by on and hong, who he met before going to get drunk.

Then he sees the cats who they started meowing at him and because he has a weakness for cats he is like: "hey just little meowmeow" and cats are like "hey" and was like "wtf you guys talk?"

And then he and the cats go to the mansion and the cats say to him that he is a half cat and the plot does like the original but with og!cale, a little bit of angst and maybe alcale plus a little bit of comfort (alberu comforting Cale who was afraid that his family discovers that he is a half cat and hates him and cale cobforting alberu because he is 1/4 dark elf

What kind of cat do you think they’d have? I can totally see LMM with one of those pillow soft looking British short hairs that seem so popular in China, but at the same time I always favor a rescue or a cat distribution system acquisition of some sort.

Design Notes:

Blue has the slender (Oriental shorthair/Siamese inspired) body type of her father. She looks a LOT like Stormtail, but she's blue instead of brown.

During Tigerclaw's attack, he clawed her chest, leaving her a scar over her leader mark, I like the symbolism, since this can represent her subsequent loss of faith in the Stars.

She does cruel things (Brightheart's og name) and makes some bad decisions (giving up her kits) but that does not make her a horrible person. She was under extreme stress and trauma during the time she gave up her kits, and at the end of her life she was suffering from an extreme mental break that probably involved some dementia. This doesn't excuse her actions, but I love her character for how flawed and complex she is!
