I think the rtc community really needs to talk about the themes & messaging of rtc more like HUH??? WHYS THAT SO SLEPT ON???

Like after I watched it with my parents we were just talking about the message & themeing for like an hour and. It really makes me think a lot.

I'm serious. It's a nice thing to keep in mind & depending on how you interpret it, it can genuinely bring a little more hope into how you think about things. What I mean is–

Is how we don't know what's going to happen in life. We can't predict anything. That was the entire point of the Cyclone — nobody knew it was going to happen. You've gotta appreciate what you have while you have it. Even if you've had a lot of bad things happen, and it seems like it's just getting worse? You don't know that for sure!! You can't predict what's going to happen in the future. Maybe something good CAN happen. There's no shame in being happy where you are right now. There is so much to be said about how easy it is to go through the motions of life without taking a moment to appreciate what's around you. life certainly can be wonderful, you just have to take a look around.

It's a good message to keep in mind. :]

I may not have been into the Uranium Teen Scream Trilogy for very long(the hyperfix has been going strong for about 3-4 months now🫡), but I absolutely love the themeing & messaging and how it's clicked with so many people from its rather recent uprise in popularity. There are like. Whole entire articles about WHY it's clicked & gained more traction as of recent years. It's awesome

12 days of lukeyaya Christmas special

Yaya always shared Christmas with luke. every tradition she saw in movies, on TV, in music, whatever, she wants to share them with him. she probably makes some up on the fly. shes so little and her hearts so big. she knocks on their door with trinkets and decorations and gifts and treats and all kind of little things bundled up in her arms.

when luke was away, he would crave anything that connected him to her. he had a knack for restoring those damn antiques and he found a broken cassette player and a cheap old Christmas cassette for cheap at some pawn shop. and he fixes it all up and rewinds the tape and puts it in and some old, old Christmas song starts playing and suddenly he's 8 again sitting in a warm house listening to the music Yaya put on. his eyes are all misty again but the tips of his fingers feel warm as he clutches at it like it was her singing.

and then he returned. and maybe she'd crafted more traditions since he left, some born out of her own loneliness. and she shows them to him like she did when she was little, that innocent spark back in his eyes. and maybe now he feels that again to. after everything, maybe they're just two kids sitting in the warmth listening to music again, celebrating quietly.

that’s so cute……….i need more ideas about things luke would do to comfort himself while away:((( yaya taking out the ornaments every year and holding the ones she made with luke and rosa as kids for a bit longer and she starts to feel as cold as the december winds outside the window. little lukeyaya munching on cookies together and listening to holiday music…….they’re giggling and making blanket forts and staring starry eyed at the lights on the tree.

she’d be so excited his first december back……..shyly showing him the traditions she’s made but trying not to overwhelm him. she just wants him to know that…not everything is different. they can still drink warm beverages and cuddle under blankets to the muffled sound of carols.
