I wanted to request a female reader who nervously comes out to Pasha that she is biromantic demisexual, and then Pasha says something along the lines of “so I have to compete with my brother for you. Okay!” In a joking matter, and they just laugh with the reader saying that she does find Iliya attractive, but Pasha will be the one and only for her(reader)?

I hope it’s not too confusing! I’ll happily clear up anything !

I fully believe that Pasha is one of the best people you can come out to, regardless of what you are coming out as. She is so understanding and supportive of you in such a casual and natural way. None of it feels like someone who is trying to learn to accept you, she already does! Which I know, should be the standard, but personally I have had a few experiences that more align with the other.

She might tease you about her brother, or anyone else that you're close to, but in her heart, she knows she is the only one who holds your heart. If you tell her that you don't like her joking like that, then she will stop.

(excuse me if I'm wrong, I'm yet to play her route, but) I definitely see Portia as a crafty type. She would crochet, you can't tell me otherwise. She would make you things in your flags' colors!

Also, she would not make a move on you until you indicated that it was okay for her to do so.

She is the consent Queen! And frequently checks up on you just t make sure that she's not doing anything that is making you upset or uncomfortable and that you were fine with her behavior and affections.

Vesuvia Weekly: How they like to steal a kiss

Julian -

Likes stealing kisses from you like he's the most moral pirate that ever existed. He already "steals" quite a few from you on a daily basis, in the form of little pecks on your cheek as a greeting or just because you did something endearing, but in his mind those don't count. Rather, he likes to twirl you around on the dance floor and dip you back until you're clinging to him for support, lean down into your space with a wicked smirk, and pause just long enough to see the happiness and safety in your eyes before he claims his prize.

Asra -

Likes stealing kisses from you the way they like "holding you hostage" for a snuggle session. For someone who uses such strong language, everything about his movements and intentions are gentle and respectful. They'll sidle up close to you behind the counter during a lull in the shop's business, gently wrap their arms around your middle, and slowly giggle and tease their way into hovering inches from your face. As soon as you ask him what he's up to, he's mumbling about "stealing a precious treasure" before he slowly closes the gap.

Nadia -

Likes to steal kisses from you as though they're a luxury only she has the reach to snatch. She'll wait until there's a moment between tasks to catch you in a corridor, take your chin lightly between her thumb and forefinger, and look at you from under lidded eyes like you're a work of art. Her proud little smirk and cocked eyebrow is all the warning you'll get before she backs you into a nearby tapestry with the intensity of her kiss, only giving you room to breathe as she wipes her lipstick from your mouth with her thumb and asks after your day.

Muriel -

Likes to steal kisses from you because it only requires ten seconds of courage max, while straight up asking you for one takes closer to two minutes. His version of "stealing" kisses is much more akin to giving them to you in ways he thinks you'll mind less. He'll press his fingertips to his lips, leaving a secret kiss on them, before he reaches out to move your hair out of your eyes brush and it against your forehead. Otherwise, the closest you'll get is when he holds your hand to wake you and kisses your inner wrist in a tender moment.

Portia -

Likes stealing kisses from you the way school kids pass notes to each other on the playground. She'll come sprinting by on her short break, snatch your wrist in her hand, and lead you through a veritable maze of back hallways and hidden corridors until you're both breathless and giggling. It's only once she's got you squished into a forgotten corner behind a dusty bookshelf that she'll brace her arms on either side of you, lean in with dancing eyes, and whisper "gotcha" before she tags you and calls you "it" with an abrupt, air-stealing kiss.

Lucio -

Likes stealing kisses from you simply because he can. He does enough law-abiding to satisfy a judge (which is more than he's ever done in his life) and he thinks he deserves a way to act out. He doesn't care if you're around other people or not, if you're standing relatively still and looking attractive enough (which is always) he's forgetting whatever he was trying to do and marching over to cup your face in his flesh-and-metal hands with the biggest puppy eyes. Just nod your head and you'll get the world's most excited kiss.

I feel so sad when I see the discourse about Portia’s route because while yes . . . She is a side character in everyone’s story. She has SO MUCH POTENTIAL TO HAVE BEEN MORE! She is literally such a cinnamon roll with a heart of gold that cant help but crave adventure!! I wouldn’t mind if I had to spend my whole life with her by my side. She is literally so much fun to be around, can you imagine going on adventures with her?? I know people frequently think of Asra when they think of adventure but she is right here! She could turn a trip to the gardens into an adventure. Dont test her, she will take you up on that challenge

Just imagine having a sleep over with her and spending the entire night gossiping? Sharing stories and cracking jokes under the blanket, or passing her by while she’s buying stuff for the palace and just tagging along as she shows you the ins and outs of Versuavia?? Navigating the alleyways and shops like a pro as she gives you a mini tour in under 10 minutes. Like this bestie KNOWS all the secrets, and she’s dying to have someone to share em with . . . Would you care to take her up on that offer?

I don't really know how I ended up having all of them giving to charities themselves but they all definitely would at one point or another.

Asra

He'll offer more ideas on how to donate or give to the charity of MC's choosing. He'll try to slip some goofy things in if they're donating to kids, he wants them to have fun!

They definitely kept this tradition up if MC started it before the Plague, since it was something important to them. Though, he'll always be a little teary eyed while he does it.

Once MC is able to walk and talk on their own, they'll ask them to pick charities every so often to give to. If they pick one they used to give to a lot he gets a sad look on his face they can't understand.

When they go on their trips they make sure to bring enough supplies back to donate a good amount and still have some for themselves.

Asra likes to donate to charities that focus on kids. Especially ones that include orphans.

Julian

He'll mostly tease at first.

Even though he's teasing, he gets a warm feeling in his chest seeing you be so kind to all these people.

Julian gets somber when he sees families struggling to stay together. It reminds him of having to leave Portia.

He'll absolutely want to be part of it but uh, MC, what do you expect this man to give?? He's been on the run for years!!

He likes to donate to medical related charities, but still varies often. His second most donated to is family charities.

Nadia

She loves that MC cares so much for her (and possibly, eventually, their) people so much.

She knows that the time she was asleep and with Lucio, she neglected her people. Even if she never meant or wanted to, it happened.

It warms her heart that they still cared enough to help others less fortunate.

She'd love to join! Just, tell her not to overwhelm these people. Please.

Muriel

He's honestly not thought about charities for...a long time.

Before him and MC get close he'll be on edge about it. He doesn't trust apperances.

Once he gets closer and realizes MC just wants to do it to be a good/nice person, he relaxes.

We've seen this man be so kind when he's finally allowing himself to be his own person. Apply here!

He likes to make things for charities. Blankets, Furs, etc.

Muriel would likely want to donate to charities that focus on family or orphaned children.

Portia

she is ecstatic!!

This woman has donated since she got herself into a good stable position and you cannot tell me otherwise.

She's been donating to charities that revolve around keeping families together or children. She understands the pain of losing family more than they realize.

a/n: WOWIEEE HAIII EVERYONE!! i just wanted to say thank you again to everyone who loved on my last post. it was really scary for me to make that, but i did it and all of the interaction means the complete world!!!! i know that this is a very different fandom than the last post so i don't know how many people will see this but to any readers, i hope that you enjoy this!!! i worked super hard and got a bit tired towards the end so i hope you can forgive me if it isn't as detailed eyfvibu i wanted to do more but mannnn i am so tired. i didn't write lucio, as i will not be writing any lucio content on my page at all. mentions of him for story reasons and maybe if i ever write a fanfic, he'll probably show up but other than that, i will not be making any content of him at all. i am a proud lucio hater so if you want lucio content please go somewhere else. i just finished asra's route today, i got the upright ending and AAAAAAAAAA?????? asra ♡ traveling.

i really struggled to find something for asra that suited, because they would honestly enjoy doing anything with you. it doesn't matter where you are or what time of day it is, as long as he has you by his side, then he's happy. and that is super evident in their route. and having just finished asra's route, i have been thinking; we all know that asra does a lot of traveling. and we all know that during those times, asra misses you terribly. they don't like being away from you for a long time, and as we go through asra's route, having all of these adventures and seeing so many new and cool places, we can see just how happy asra is to have you at their side. the joy shines through the screen, and i can feel just how happy he is to have you with him wherever you are. ergo, their favorite thing to do with you is to travel.

when the two of you started to travel together, asra was a bit nervous. he didn't know what to expect when you agreed to travel together without a destination in mind, and he was worried that somehow, some way, something would happen to you. what if you got kidnapped? what if you got hurt? what if you got sick? all sorts of thoughts were running through asra's head, but the more that they watched you grow and allowed you to take chances, the more that they realized that you would be okay. yes, any of those things could happen, but he is right there if you need him. they know that they will always be by your side to help you through any challenge, and care for you however you need it.

however, as the travels go on, he is reminded everyday that you are a strong, capable individual. they knew that before, of course, but seeing you solve all of the riddles and puzzles put in front of you, helping so many people and growing so much made it hit them like a truck. he was always too afraid to allow you to take chances before, in fear that you would get hurt. but they learned that if you didn't take chances, that you wouldn't grow. and the last thing that he wants is to stop you from being the best version of you that you can be.

so, they let you off of the leash. and just like a bird taking flight, you soared and took everything that came at you by storm. he watched you as you became braver, smarter, kinder and stronger. they always expected for you to be great, and they always had faith in you. he just needed to learn that in order to achieve that greatness, that he needed to let you do some things on your own. they needed to let you make your own mistakes and win your own battles, so that you could learn. and it was one of the best decisions that he's ever made. watching you become more independent and confident within yourself is one of the best feelings that they could ever be blessed to have. he feels so grateful that he is the person that you choose every single day, and no matter what, he will always choose you.

julian ♡ dancing.

at heart, julian is a romantic. almost every cliche romantic thing that you can think of, you have done with julian. picnics. karaoke, aquariums, painting classes, shopping, craft nights, not to mention all of the crazy adventures that you guys would get into together. every day, he wants to remind you why you fell for him, and in his opinion, keeping things lively is the best way to do that! above all, though, julian's favorite thing to do with you is to dance. he knew that you were a prodigy at dancing after the masquerade, but one night changes everything.

the two of you had actually taken dancing classes before this. you were actually the one who suggested it, and after teasingly accusing you of thinking that the two of you are horrible dancers, he agreed. he honestly didn't think that he could be more in love with you after that. you two went to the class, and julian could hardly ever tear his eyes off of you. the way that you moved was so naturally graceful, as if you had been a dancer your whole life. he most definitely showered you in attention and love after the class was over, and he knew that he had to arrange for the two of you to dance together more often.

oh but that night was not the night that he realized that this was his favorite thing to do with you, no no no no no. the night that he realized that dancing was his favorite activity to do with you was a night like many others; dinner at portia's. it was you, julian, portia and nadia, and you all decided to eat outside so that you could watch the stars. portia went into the cottage to check on the food, with nadia following close behind her, and julian figured that it was the perfect time to steal a sweet moment with you. so, he stood from his seat and knelt to one knee before you. with one hand on his chest and the other extended to you, he asked, "will you have this dance with me, my dear?"

you giggled and told him that there wasn't any music playing. what could you possibly dance to? oh how sweet you are. a chuckle symphonized from his chest, and he responded with, "oh my dear, we do have music." a gloved hand took yours and placed it over his heart, "right here." oh my gods, this absolute cheeseball. you playfully shoved his chest, moving backwards under the force but not falling onto his butt. he swiftly leans forward and takes the hand that shoved him, pulling you to your feet as he stood. one pair of hands intertwined while the others lay on your waist on his shoulder. you two started to sway together, as if you were in the masquerade. yes, you did technically dance at the masquerade, but julian wanted a more intimate experience. you didn't get to have a romantic ballroom dance thanks to the one we do not speak, and julian finds that absolutely outrageous!

your bodies glide beautifully amongst the grass and bushes, you take turns spinning each other around and laughing throughout. fireflies spring from the greenery wherever you set your feet, giving your figures a tender glow that julian found absolutely enchanting on you. after spinning through almost all of portia's front lawn, you find yourselves right back at group sitting spot. his arms have encircled your waist, keeping you close to him as your arms encircle his neck carefully. there are no long strides in this dance, no dramatic flair; just you and him rocking back and forth. his eyes stare into yours and his lips are curved into an adoring smile, as if by looking into your eyes, he could pour all of his love from him to you just through eye contact.

you mutter his name, he mutters yours, you lean in, and..portia pipes up. both her and nadia hold two bowls of soup, hot and ready. portia is mischievously smirking at the two of you while nadia admires your connection. julian tries to usher them away so that he can have more alone time with you, but you're quick to shut him down. begrudgingly, julian did, but all he could think about for the rest of the night was how beautiful you were dancing with him. your laughter singing into the air, the smile on your face, your gaze carving through the very core of his being. somehow, he was able to stay focused on the conversations that occurred that evening, but everyone, including you, could tell that he was going to be hung up on tonight for the next several weeks. when you got home, he was sure to steal a kiss from you later, and another dance.

nadia ♡ fashion shows.

ah, our beloved countess. at first, i planned on giving her shopping, seeing as her love language is gift giving, she would love to spoil the crap out of you with anything that you even glanced out. however, i wasn't happy with that idea. my boyfriend was actually the one who came up with the idea of fashion shows (hi vinny honey, i love you <3). he is such a freaking genius for this one bc OH MY GOSH YES. nadia has such beautiful taste in clothing, so she would absolutely love to host little fashion shows with you. she does like to share her clothes with her friends, but with you, it's special.

the original thought was you trying on nadia's clothes, and nadia trying on your clothes. nadia would feel like she is falling in love with you all over again if you tried on her clothes. all of the fabric would embrace you in such a perfect way, accentuating all of the things that she loves the most about you. gosh she would just be so head over heels,, she would clap every time you would walk out to show her what you chose, or what she selected for you because she just wanted to see you in it so bad. this woman is literally your number one supporter, she thinks that you are absolutely drop-dead gorgeous in everything that you choose to try on and cannot get enough of you in her clothes. she will shower you in compliments and praise of just how celestial you look, and it makes you super duper flustered because she just flatters you so much.

she also gets really shy when she tries on your clothes. all of her life, she has had the most expensive, well-made, stunning clothes that anyone could ever dream of. so, trying on clothes that do not fit under those categories is new to her. while she isn't used to not wearing the most lavish clothes to be found, she likes your sense of style and is always excited when you ask her to try on an ensemble of yours. what she worries about is what you think. she frets that you think it won't look good on her, if that isn't the farthest thing from the truth. when she walks out to you, you are in absolute awe of how beautiful she is. you already think that she can't get any prettier when she wears other outfits, but now this???? her in your clothes???? oh lord almighty you must be SAVED bc this woman has swept you off of your feet. she asks you what you think, and all you can do is walk up to her and smooch the ever-loving life out of her. you just love each other so much!!!!!

BUT WAIT, I'M NOT DONE. I HAVE MORE THOUGHTS.

when your group of friends have sleepovers at the palace, or when you all go out shopping together, it is unavoidable that you all will be having a fashion show where you all show off the clothes that you bought. nadia loves these so much because she gets to watch her friends all enjoy themselves and feel confident in their clothes, especially if she was the one who bought them. but with you, they just feel so different. to her, it is an intimate experience of being able to share your joy with one another. something that you value in your relationship with nadia is self-esteem, both yours and hers. not only do you both want to make each other feel good. but you also want to feel good within yourself. and nadia thinks that fashion shows are an important part of that. clothes are part of how one may express themselves and their identity, and that is something that nadia treasures. so, if showing off the clothes that you got is going to make you feel good about yourself, then she wants to be there to watch you. there is nothing more important to her than your happiness, and if going through outfit by outfit is what will make you happy, then so be it.

admittedly, she..also really likes to show you the new clothes she gets. when you first started dating, she was a bit nervous about it. she knew that you knew of her riches and lifestyle; it was lavish, and she only got the best of the best. she's the countess for crying out loud, so of course you knew that she was going to have everything that she wanted at her feet, even if it meant something that took literal years to find. but there was part of her that worried that you would see her money and think differently of her. she feared that you would judge her person based on her money, instead of the woman you fell in love with. when she told you this, you automatically reassured her that you wouldn't think differently of her at all. you would love her regardless of the amount of money she has, you told her. and this put her heart at ease, so she progressively became more comfortable showing off her wardrobe when you hosted your shows to each other. now, she doesn't hesitate to declare a fashion show after a shopping spree so that she can show you the lovely things that she got for herself. and every single time that you have one, you cannot believe that that is your girlfriend. you are just the luckiest person in the whole world to have someone like her, and she feels infinitely more lucky to have you.

portia ♡ watching the sunset.

this kind of feels like a given to me. portia is always talking about how she wants to sail the world and explore, both in the actual routes and in heart hunter. so sitting on the docks with you, watching the sun disappear behind the sea and talking about your dreams??? oh heck yes, count her in. she is really tired when she isn't working, so usually she spends her time trying to rest up and take care of things around her cottage. however, she wants to spend all of the time that she can with you. so, the two of you go on all sorts of lovely dates! shopping in the marketplace, teaching her about new herbs in the shop, seeing the new shows in the theater and heckling julian, all sorts of stuff!!!!! but portia's all time favorite part of your days together is when you go to the docks, take off your shoes, sit on the edge and talk while watching the sunset together.

portia has so many dreams, and so many things that she wants to do in her life. and she loves to tell you about all of them. she spends hours just ranting to you about all of the things that she wants to do, the places that she wants to see, the types of adventures that she wants to go on, and of course they all include you being there with her. oh gods you love listening to her,, every single word that she speaks are words that you carve into the stones of your memories. listening to her talk about her dreams is like watching the sun shine. greenery smiles under the glorious warmth and embraces her glimmer gratefully, her passion burns brightly and she is the most beautiful being in any realm to ever exist. she has no time to wonder if she's talking too much because she is far too focused on being with you, and loving every single moment of it. you truly hope that you are able to go on all of the adventures that she wants, so that you can experience every ounce of the world with her, until it all falls apart.

of course, she loves to listen to you. the time that you two spend at the docks is time to talk about anything that comes to mind, and she cannot help but adore you as you pour your heart out to her. when you speak of all of the things that you want to do before your time in this realm comes to a close, she watches and listens very intently. your voice to her is like a river, running smoothly through the canals of her mind and soothing the battering howl of her heart. her eyes twinkle with adoration as her elbow rests on her knee, her face leaning against her hand as she stares at you. everything that you tell her only makes her more excited for your future, because in your future, you include her. and that is all that she could ever truly want. you both truly love to listen to each other talk, not even just about your dreams, but about anything. even if it's something as small as dinner options or something that you saw at the market that you liked, you both love to hear anything and everything from each other. can you tell that the two of you are head over heels in love??

the first time that you sat at the docks together was a magical moment that portia will never forget. you two had just spent an amazing day together, and you wanted to rest by somewhere pretty before heading back home. so, portia suggested the docks to watch the sunset. you agreed, then took your shoes off and sat down. you conversed for hours, laughing and teasing each other. it is so obvious that you both are the other's favorite person to be around to everyone around you, you are both so comfortable with each other in the purest, most loving way. portia had taken her hair down, long curly locks of red flowing carefully down her back. as the sun caressed the ocean for a farewell kiss, the light made her look like she was a celestial being. freckled, pale skin bathes in orange, your own skin making you look just as radiant as she. you locked eyes with her, and all you could think about is just how much you love her. and her you, for she thought in that moment, that you were the most gorgeous person she had ever seen. she thinks that all of the time, but everything about that time was too perfect. your hands cupped her cheek, and her hands held your arms as you exchanged a beautifully passionate kiss. all of her love dumped into it as did yours, and it is something that portia will always remember. you two go to the docks a lot more to watch the sunset, and exchange plenty more kisses worth treasuring for the rest of your lives.

muriel ♡ nature walks.

OHHHHHH MURIEL!!! MY SHMOOPY POOPY DOOPY BEAR!! i love this man with all of my heart,, no one understands my love for him syufigubine. i didn't even have to think about this one, because i KNEW for a fact this our sweet boy would absolutely LOVE to go on nature walks with you. he isn't much of a people-person, so he doesn't really like going anywhere that crowds gather. which, in vesuvia, is a pretty hard thing to do, considering the fact that people are almost always out, doing something. so muriel doesn't like going anywhere where people are. the time that he spends with you is meant for you and you alone, not to be spent around a crap ton of strangers that push and shove and cram him into tight spaces. so anytime alone with you is time that he greatly cherishes. you had been wanting to find an activity that both you and muriel love doing that wouldn't make muriel anxious or uncomfortable, so you came up with the idea of nature walks.

when you brought it up to muriel, he accepted it right away. he would get to be around nature and spend time with you? that's all he ever really needs, honestly. he has been through the forest time and time again, he knows every crevice of it like the lines on his palms, yet when you went on your first nature walk together, everything about the forest seemed to change. the colors were brighter, the plants smelt richer, heck even the animals were out and about more when you two went out together. he didn't understand why, but it felt so much better being in the forest with you. you walked along and let the path take you wherever fate demanded. the sun peered through the leaves of the trees to allow life to breathe underneath it, the warmth of the day wrapping around you both like a blanket. he's gotten used to this forest after living in it for so many years, but with you, it felt like the most fascinating place to be.

he was a little worried because he figured that you would want to go out. not just to the forest, but to somewhere like the marketplace, the town square or even the rowdy raven. when he expressed his concerns, you reassured him that you didn't need to go out and do something. all you need is to be with him, and if this is the way that he is most comfortable spending time together, then so be it. you could walk all day, all night, for the rest of your lives in this forest together, as long as it meant that he was comfortable and happy. he smiled and thanked you for your reassurance, giving you a little kiss on the cheek before taking your hand and continuing your journey.

from that point forward, nature walks became a very regular part of your routine with muriel. it always starts with "wanna go on a walk?", and from that point forward, who knows what could happen. you two have found a lot of new things in that forest together. you've found lots of pretty flowers, greenery, rocks and animals that you didn't see before, new spots to relax in and even found little burrows and nests a couple of times!!! it's like a little adventure that isn't too far away from home, and muriel is more than happy to go on a walk at any time. it's almost always something new when the two of you go out together, and he thinks that that's what makes you so lovely. on most days, on his own, he wouldn't think twice about any of the things that you do. so, when you stop him to look at a pattern on a rock, or to admire a dandelion that you call a flower even though it's a weed, he takes his time to admire it with you, and he can't stop that sweet smile from curling onto his lips. seeing you in his favorite place is the most wonderful experience that he could ever ask for. he didn't believe that he was deserving of wonderful experiences before, but now that he has you, he wants to think differently.

Headcanons: The Arcana Characters Love Languages

A/N: probably gonna do this for all the fandoms i write for so expect a lot of the same stuff in the coming times. anywaysss enjoy! :)

Word Count: 761 Warnings/Other Notes: no warnings!

Asra:

Asra's love language is Gift Giving/ Receiving.

Anytime they're away from the shop, they always manage to find something that reminds them of you,

Whether it's a trinket of some sort or a food you may like, they're buying it as soon as they see it.

No matter what it is, there is always some thoughtfulness behind the gift that warms your heart.

And if you get them something in return? Asra's admiration of you grows tenfold.

if that gift is small enough, you can bet that they're bring it along with them on all of their travels. They love having something to remember you by when not physically with you.

Nadia:

Nadia's love language would be Acts of Service.

After running a country essentially by herself, she finds herself most comfortable when doing things for the people she cares about.

If you were to need anything, she would help you get it in anyway she could.

She has her servants run errands for you, she'll help you clean the magic shop, or she'll even cook your favorite meal for you.

Even if you insist that she doesn't have to go to those lengths, she'll sweetly reassure you that she enjoys doing those thing for you.

And she's eternally grateful when in exchange, you offer to take care of some of her own duties when she needs to take a day or two off.

Julian:

Julian's love language is definitely Words of Affirmation.

This man is so genuine and charming, even his casual comments can have you swooning into his arms.

If he notices you're feeling down or you've done something you're proud of, Julian is always sure to compliment you to raise your spirits.

Even if you're just lounging around on a comfy chair, he's quick to tell you how much he loves you.

You just mean so much to him, it's hard for him to keep his thoughts to himself when he's near you.

And when he's silently dealing with his past doubts about himself, he really appreciates when you come around and remind him how far he's come since then.

Muriel:

Muriel's love language is Quality Time!

He's never been the most talkative person or the most touchy-feely, but he enjoys spending a quiet moment with you.

After a long, stressful day, his favorite thing to do is sit in front of the fireplace with you and Inanna to decompress for a bit.

If he has things to do around the forest, Muriel loves when you're right there beside him, even if he doesn't need help with his tasks.

He does have his moments where he will distance himself from you for a bit, but he always comes back to you, happy that you like being around him even on the bad days.

Even if he doesn't always say it, you know Muriel adores you just by how much time he spends around you.

Portia:

Portia's love language is also Gift Giving!

She loves to bake and craft, so anytime she can manage it, she's making you something filled with all the love she can put into it.

She is so in tune with all of your interests that she is always able to give you something that she knows that you will enjoy!

On the rare occasion that she buys you something, she'll always find a way to add a personal touch.

When you make or purchase a present for her, you're also sure to get a treat for Pepi.

It makes Portia cry tears of joy every single time, she loves the fact that you thought of her best feline friend in addition to herself.

Lucio:

And finally, Lucio's love language is Physical Touch!

He is one touch starved son of a bitch, I'll tell you that much. With his mother being the way she was, he craves the loving embrace of another person.

Any chance he can get, he's scooping you into his arms and dropping the both of you onto his bed for a long awaited snuggle session.

Even if you're busy with something else, he will find any way to stick to you, be it with a single kiss on the cheek or full on pulling you into his awaiting lap.

On days where he's not feeling like his usual self, he seeks you out and when he finds you, he's pulling you to a comfortable surface to plop his head onto your thighs.

If you run your fingers through his hair, you'll find him humming contently after a while, relishing in the warm gentleness of your touch.

A question, does Lucio's prosthetic arm work or does it just hang on his shoulder? And if the other LI lost an arm what design of their prosthetic arm would be

Honest question: have you played the game?

Not only is he posed in a lot of the art using his arm, he's often described using his arm in narration, and even purely in-universe, why would Lucio kidnap and force two alchemists to build him a prosthetic arm if it wasn't going to do anything?

But onto hypotheticals!

It's kind of cute thinking about what approaches they'd have to needing a prosthetic.

I feel like Asra's would be either made by his parents or self-made, ironically resembling Lucio's arm the most because of those influences. But it'd definitely have more interesting use in channeling magic.

Julian's would be similarly self-made/scrapped together. Lots of exposed metal and leather straps with more of a hook and crude joint than any life-like articulation. I imagine they'd be some magic element but a lot more downplayed.

In contrast, Muriel's is almost all magic. He carved the pieces himself and worked with Asra to fix it in place. While it acts a lot more like a natural arm, I think it's more prone to shorting out.

Nadia's is definitely designed by herself. Even if she had the pieces made and enchanted by other artisans, it's mechanical and elegant in a way only she could design. Like Lucio's, it can have additional covers and accesories.

And Portia's is probably the least expensive and a gift from Mazelinka. It's another case where it's magical, but Portia never knew the extent of it. It's cute, wooden, and jointed like a doll, with a practical hook, and she spent the first days with painting it.

Asra

Faust is soaking up all of the attention. She is with you all the time and prefers it that way.

She is so situational in her interactions with you. You would be getting ready to boil some noodles and Faust would just appear in the empty pot you laid out. This is her pot now. You must find another one.

Asra was genuinely concerned the first time they saw it happen. Why are you making Faust noodle soup.

Lovesss getting tickled and traveling with you. Pokes her head out to peek at everything. Also, Faust flower crown.

She has a little nest made of yours and Asra’s gift trinkets. Okay, maybe not all of them were gifts… Perhaps they were stolen, but who’s checking?

If you like to, she luvvvs sharing bubble baths with you!! With the wide variety of bath products Asra brings every trip, you never run out of options and adventures.

Julian

Big ol’ crow nose all up in your business.

Always around you when Julian is writing something down because he’s joked about plucking one of his feathers to use as a quill, and now he doesn’t trust him enough to be around him while he works.

Will sit on your shoulder or head and peck at your earrings (or anything shiny, honestly).

Julian is a little jealous.

You make up for it by holding conversations with Malak in front of him. He gets so mesmerized, like are you actually able to understand him?? Asks you to tell him he’s a gander egg* and Malak immediately assaults him in a flurry of squawks and feathers.

He allows you to feed him out of your hand like a majestic fairy. Yeowch. Crow nose sharp.

Portia

How can you not love that kitty face.

She loves sniffing you up and down, head to toe. Sniff her back and she’ll whack you.

Totally a lap cat. Also a head cat. Sits gracefully on either you or Portia’s face at night.

By far the biggest suck up out of the familiars. Snack? Treats? Food time? She rolls all over the floor and yeowls until you give in. For the sake of Portia’s sanity, this may be preferable. Keep the kitty at bay and she won’t annoy her as much.

Portia is both relieved and a teeny tiny bit jealous that you’re the favorite now… She finds it cute when she walks in on Pepi purring on you like a big baby. Little kitty kissies are all over your cheeks and yes, Portia insists on overtaking them with her own kissies.

Nadia

Chandra is NOT baby.

Unless there are treats involved, in which case she is SOOO baby.

She is not a very cuddly, lovey dovey dove. She expresses her love through acts of service like bringing things for or checking up on you.

It’s no secret Nadia loves to treat you and her bird with rich delights. So, if you assist Chandra in luxurious baths or patrols, she will linger around you more often. Nadia is pleased to see her trailing behind you around the palace.

She fixes your hair from time to time. She sees it as a give and take relationship.

As such, she’s begun to imitate your mannerisms. You tilt your head when you’re confused? She tilts hers. You flutter your eyelashes? She flutters hers back.

Nadia is squealing deep down, watching you two mimicking each other.

Muriel

Inanna is a little finicky in the way that she takes care of you like a mother, but will accept any and all belly rubs.

She’s perfectly capable of feeding and caring for herself! With that being said, she likes receiving scratches behind the ears in the bath.

Please note that she does not care for strong, unnaturally scented care products… Last time, you picked up a rosemary scented shampoo, thinking it would be natural smelling enough. Alas, she took one whiff of it and ran behind Muriel’s legs…

Give her the green light to lay down on top of you and, congratulations! It is now your daily nap time!

She’s very careful not to trip you, but loves nudging her head against your legs. You can never tell whether she's asking you for head pats or asking you to move out of the way.

Every time you come back from the market, she's got her nose all up in the bag because she knows you got SOMETHING for her.

Lucio

Now THIS is what they’re talking about!

Give them petting. Give them treats. Give them kisses. Brush them. Hug them.

Is it possible to give too much attention to dogs? You’re not sure what the limit is, but they make it very clear you are nowhere near it…

Lucio starts to get a teeny tiny bit jealous when they start barreling towards you and not him when you guys come home. His initial response is to show great disdain towards them until they feel sorry, but he eventually resorts to sweeping you off your feet so the dogs jump all over the both of you.

Don’t worry. They will cushion the fall.

They like to play peekaboo!! Their big cold ‘n slobbery snouts and puppy eyes are all up in your face. Enjoy!

One sleeps close to your back. The other sleeps close to your stomach. They r pillows. :)

Asra really just wants to enjoy every minute you’re together, when nothing is bothering you or demanding immediate attention (which happens all the time, hard magicians’ life)

Mornings are the most suitable time, when you can speak unhurriedly, dream a little and plan your little next week’s adventure

Nadia

Nadia has to wake up early, even on holidays :(

That habit is ingrained so deeply that it is an outright surprise for her if you don’t share it. Everyone rise early to get everything done, no?..

It warms her heart to see you so relaxed and satisfied in your bedchambers like nowhere else

She leaves, but servants are already preparing everything for your awakening

Nadia will make up for all the skipped morning caresses in the afternoon-

Lots of kisses and tea brewed with petals will improve your mood, whichever way you woke up

One day you wake up and first thing you feel is the weight on the other side of the bed

Your eyes fly open just to see Nadia’s ruby ones filled with tenderness and adoration, as she observes you and smiles bright and soft at your expression

Only then you notice the lightest tracing of her elegant fingers caressing your pillow-marked cheek

Julian

Julian is headed straight to work upon waking up

This man’s body wakes up much later than his brain does — it occurs to him it’s time to eat only an hour or two after he dug into his notes

After a brief activity burst (which consist of wolfing down the delicious breakfast you brought him) he is back in bed

No, not a single movement for at least half an hour.

Portia is an early bird

Extremely energetic + wants you besides immediately

Before you know what is going on, she is already straddling you and tickling your sides

She wants to press her nose into yours until you wake up, to peer into your eyes with her bright blue ones. But she just can’t contain her excited giggling at the simple thought of the spooked little jump you’ll definitely make

She’ll get there one morning, don’t even doubt.

If you get too cranky, she will leave you be… for a week at most.

Muriel

Muriel will leave at dawn, desperately trying not to wake you. He doesn’t want to disturb you; it’s his chores after all

He ignores your demands to stop to consider every chore only his own

Will ask Inanna to check on you if he is wandering far into the forest. He knows you will be safe, it’s just… He feels more reassured this way

Congratulations, you are guarded by a big floofy wolf, who thinks to guard = to lie flat on you and sometimes poke her nose in yours

She’s right, honestly

If you are tough enough to sleep through that, prepare for the ultimate attack: breakfast

Riding proudly on the wolf’s back to the kitchen, you are greeted with a “good morning” hum

As you eat half-sleepily, Muriel adoringly studies your face, trying and failing to hide it

His own face turns slightly red, when you try to feed him a little bit of your portion, even though he has already eaten

You succeed.

Lucio

If it was up to him, he would be staying under the covers till the sun has passed its peak

Oh, wait, it is up to him. The deal is sealed then.

And he will be very delighted to have you in his arms

Carefully, you won’t be able to escape after indulging even once. Lazy and long mornings, stretches, laughter and adoring stares… Who would be, honestly?

After crawling out of the bed and eating it’s time to refine your day plans. Ones for evening are the most exciting

After that he will attend to his training

Vesuvia Weekly Drabbles: Don't Wake MC!

Were you asleep until five minutes ago? Yes. The shop's backroom is remarkably comfortable for a post-lunch nap, especially when you know the afternoon and evening will be bustling with Friday shoppers later.

Are you awake now? Also yes. The Devorak sibling's hushed arguing is not as quiet as they seem to think it is, Lucio walks with the subtlety of an elephant, Asra's magic use is recognizable anywhere, Nadia's perfume fills every space she inhabits, and Muriel's social discomfort is palpable no matter how tightly your eyes are shut. Are you going to let them know that you're not as asleep as you look? Absolutely not. This is way too much fun.

"Pasha, you can't reach that, let me - ooohhfff -"

"Call me short one more time and I'll take your kneecaps, Ilya."

"Hey! Who took my medal?!"

"Silence, Lucio, it's a miracle they're still asleep. Muriel, would you happen to know where my ex-husband may have misplaced his precious decoration?"

"Asra has it."

"GIVE IT BACK!"

"Shut up, Lucio, it looks better on Faust. I'm doing a service to humanity."

You still don't know what exactly it is they're trying to do, but attempting to figure it out is more fun than you'd like to admit. Perhaps being a detective really was your calling.

There's a little more chaos for another ten minutes or so before things start to quiet down. You hear Lucio's heels click in and out of the back room where you're "dozing" several times and a couple impatient huffs, before Julian's boots come striding in.

"Jules! You're here, help me figure out how to wake them up."

"I - er - I don't know, they look like they're sleeping so peacefully. It'd be a shame to disturb them."

"I would hate to interrupt their slumber as well, but if Asra's prediction is correct, they'll need to be available to tend to their shop in less than two hours." You catch another whiff of Nadia's perfume as her silks rustle closer and hear a wistful sigh above your head. "They look so peaceful."

"Like Sleeping Beauty," Portia gasps, "ooh, do you think they'd like a wake-up kiss?"

"I VOLUNTEER -"

"Shut up, Lucio." Is Asra ... perched on the back of the bench you're snoozing on? "How do you know they won't wake up scared when they mistake you for a goat, anyways?"

"I DO NOT LOOK LIKE A -"

"... it's rude to kiss people when they're unconscious."

"Muriel is entirely correct, though that doesn't solve our time issue. We still have only one hundred and seventeen minutes remaining before the shop must reopen if our plans don't disrupt their schedule, and they must awaken if we are to use them."

"... they're already awake." You hear Muriel shift uncomfortably from side to side. "They've been pretending the whole time."

"They have?? Asra, did you know this too?!"

The magician ignores Julian's surprised squawk with a quiet laugh. "Open your eyes, MC, I know you can hear us."

You still don't know what they've been planning, but the six faces smiling down at you when you look up is worth losing the rest of your afternoon for.

Silently, Portia gawks at you, mouth slightly agape as the door to the servants' quarter quietly shuts behind her. Hands finally free after hours of carrying things around and unlocking doors. Her eyes wander around trying to understand but fails to comprehend why you seem so upset. "Huh? What do you mean? Take what off?" A glimpse of humour appears in her eyes. Glints at you like a shining light before her hands fall to the hem of her shirt, "my oh my ~ Is that what you intend? I thought I was the only on-"

"No not that. Take your mask off." She's stunned once more. Hands leaving to fall to her side.

"What?! . . . What do you mean? I'm not wearing my masquerade mask right now, I really don't understand . . ." She sighs deeply and rubs her face in her hands. A sorrowful expression on her face. "Im sorry, I might be more tired that I realised but I don't know what you're talking about." A frown appears on her face as she looks away from you, eyes slightly misty. Feeling guilty since she hasn't spent much time with you. The masquerade ball already having so much anticipation around it. Despite it being a week away, the anxiety to make it perfect is lingering in the air. A heavy burden on every servant, and you know that. You sigh and shake your head at her.

"No no, you're fine, I should stop being so vague." Your feet move towards her on their own accord, no push necessary as you go to hold her hands. Pulling her close into your embrace. She, in turn, doesn't hesitate to bury her face into your shoulder. Her arms around your waist already. "What I meant, is that I want you to be yourself . . ."

Your voice coming out as a mere shy whisper. The day's frustration melting away already from both of you as you rub her back. Holding on to her like she's your lifeline, you hug her tighter. "What I meant to say was just that . . . I don't want you pretend to be someone you're not. To hide things from me. To do everything by yourself. Please . . . Take your mask off. Stop hiding from me and just tell me what's wrong." You plead to her but neither of you has it in themselves to pull away from the embrace.

Nor the strength to glance each other in the eye. You can tell she's shocked by how quiet she is. Portia, believe it or not, despite having so many acquaintances all over Versuvia . . . Has never had anyone be so enamoured with her as to want to get to know her. She's always second to someone, Never the one, always the spare. Yet with you . . . That's never the case is it? She's touched, she really is, and you can tell when she speaks. "I . . . Thank you, I'll try to do that," Her wobbly agreement is all she says before the dam breaks and you get to comfort her as she finally begins to speak her mind to you.

Asra is appalled by this information.

You, the absolute love of his life, who was killed, albeit indirectly, by Lucio, are related to him? That's fucked up.

He's absolutely not happy. Lucio's somehow managed to screw with every part of Asra's life. His parents, Muriel, and his partner.

If you decide to play protagonist and try to make everyone get along, they'll tease Lucio to hell and back five times over with this.

It does not help that Lucio doesn't like Asra the most. Why'd his relative pick the worst one?!

He holds it over Lucio's head the rest of his life. He'll find so many ways to say the same thing over and over again.

"This is karma for throwing my parents in the magical realms."

Julian

Yikes, this one is a little hard to grasp for me.

He'll likely make some sort of joke or jab at the information but don't be fooled. He's processing.

He decides he doesn't really know what to feel, except for a reasonable amount of lingering anger, like any normal person would.

Lucio force-fed him a plague beetle, they aren't exactly on, "sorry we cool?" terms.

If you don't mind that you're related to Lucio he'll tease you about it, if not he'll leave it alone.

He's not gonna be very happy go lucky with him, but with you he's all teasing, especially if you indulge in his scheming.

Nadia

This woman cannot get a break, can she?

She's internally trying to see the resemblance but her ability to depends on your personality.

If you're an absolute menace to the living breathing world, she absolutely sees it. If not, she's at a loss for how the two could possibly be from the same family tree.

She doesn't see you or your relationship any differently, whatever she had with Lucio is in the very far past, but Lucio is throwing a fit.

Why are you with HIS ex-wife?? MC??? Hey! He's talking to you, MC!

Muriel

Yeah, no. sorry.

We all have to remember what that man put Muriel through. Muriel obviously held every single action that happened in that colosseum against Lucio. As he should!!

If we're talking about early Muriel he's immediately running from the MC. Get away, shoo!

If we decide to talk about late or even post-upright Muriel, we can have a different outcome.

He'll be upset, confused, and likely very apprehensive. Inanna is there as a bridge between the both of you.

He doesn't want to see you any differently, and he doesn't. But how can one relative be the absolute worst person to grace the earth and the other be the best thing to ever happen to him?

Portia

She's surprisingly only slightly bugged about it.

She still has some trouble fully letting it go, but instead of a full on grudge its more like when your friend doesn't pay something back. She'll just bring it up every once in a while.

Imagine going on a date with Julian/Portia and you two are on a nice little picnic out in the woods and it suddenly starts pouring rain. They're panicking because you're both soaked but you just grab their hands and start dancing. Now you two are waltzing in the rain together, laughing and smiling and maybe a little kiss sprinkled in ;)
