Just a lil photo dump of some of the miniature paintings I've created in the last few months :3

I've made all of them available as printable downloads if you want some easy modern art for your miniature setups/dollhouse, and half of them are also available for purchase as tiny originals.

On a side note, I'm kinda tempted to recreate some of them in actual scale 😅... so I guess these also kind of function as tiny mockups?

Lissajous Three Four Five - acrylic print test of my math art!

👆 Photo of my iPad showing the art (to the left) and the 20cmx20cm acrylic print directly next to it, to the right. Photo near a window in natural indoor light, but not directly hit by sunlight. I am always anxious when unboxing such prints, especially when the digital version is a glowing vibrant structure on dark background. How could a print ever compare to this? I was already pleasantly surprised by my recent canvas print, but my reaction to this acrylic print was more like OMG OMG OMG IT LOOKS LIKE MY IPAD HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE.

The photo of iPad and print is really faithful! And of course, there are reflections of my hands in the acrylic print ☺️

Here is the digital original (scaled down to 1200x1200 pixels. The actual original is 5000x5000 pixels)

It's the first time I have picked the "luxury" variant of acrylic prints - the one covered with a back layer of aluminum-dibond (the same composite material I pick for my metal prints - synthetic material covered with aluminum). The bare acrylic prints without alu-dibond enhancement are slightly transparent: They glow when hold against the sun. I guess it helps if they are placed on a white or even reflective background. One detail that might not be visible in the photo: The "glow" I had added (using threejs' unreal bloom effect) turns into a pattern of discernable dots. I like it, but it is different from the original (but way better than the "contour lines" you sometimes get when creating a low quality jpg from an image with a soft color gradient). I had this 20cmx20cm print made at a local commercial print shop.
