Me and Makeup: Pores Be Gone Matte Primer
Me and Makeup: Pores Be Gone Matte Primer
This is First Aid Beauty’s Pores Be Gone Matte Primer. I received it in one of my Sephora Play pouches. It was one of the items there that really got me excited. I’m always on the lookout for good primers. For me, the base is everything. So I was really excited to try this one out.
This primer was actually very good. It really kept me matte all day and made my makeup last all day as well. I…

Hi guys,
I am honestly so excited to write this blog post!! We all know I adore Fenty Beauty and basically try everything they release and since they released their powder foundation back in December they have been a little quiet. Little did we know they were planning a game changer of a product!
Cut to a few months later (more specifically 26th March) they released a new face base product I already adore and want to use everyday. Since lock down I have been leaning towards lighter foundations in terms of formula and coverage so this product is like Fenty found out what I wanted and gave it to me! Everyone it’s time to meet the Fenty Beauty Eaze Drop Blurring Skin Tint, £25.00. This product is the most insane because it offers you skin so much and yet it’s probably the most natural looking from all the Fenty face base products. Let’s get down to details, this skin tint comes in 25 shades and is designed to be a light - medium coverage, blurring face product for a no makeup makeup look.
Unlike previous collections this range has 25 flexible shades, might be confusing but let me explain. Rihanna’s usual foundation’s come in 50 shades so you’re probably wonder why 25 in this collection. Well let me tell you! In this range we have flexy shades which basically means the shade you are in this collection is different to previous. In my case I usually wear 120 in the hydrating and powder foundation and in the matte foundation I mix 100/120 and Fenty (god bless them) released a chart which I pictured above showing you what shade you would be. So I wear shade 1 in this new collection and that covers anyone who wears shades 100 to 130. So in this range I would highly recommend you to check out the colour you’ll be in this collection.
So I ordered this skin tint at like 12.01 on the 26th because I was so excited to try it out and while I was waiting and obviously excited I checked out people wearing the product on TikTok. Straight away you would see the difference this product had on your skin instantly which is crazy, everyone who filmed a video looks flawless and yet so natural and I noticed from Rihanna’s tutorial and a lot of TikToks everyone was applying this skin tint with their hands. Not gonna lie this threw me off because I haven’t done that in years!! But if it’s good enough for Ri it’s good enough for me!
Before applying the skin tint I primed my face with the Mattifying Pro Filtr Primer from Fenty (obvs). After applying the primer I started off applying 3 dots to each side of my face of the skin tint because everyone said this formula was light but offered good coverage. As instructed I started blending in the product to my skin with my hands and almost instantly I could see the pore blurring effect because any discolouration from my face was instantly gone. It was crazy, I carried on blending the rest and when I looked in the mirror you could see the coverage that evened out my skin tone and made my skin look flawless. It’s crazy because it’s the perfect for people who want a natural no makeup makeup look. When I go back to work this is something I would gravitate towards because it feels so light on the skin and genuinely lasts really well on my combo skin. I honestly adore this product and I’m so happy Fenty decided to release this formula. When you look at all the face base products from Fenty Beauty there really is something for everyone. I am obsessed with the formula, the finish and the buildable coverage it offers. If like me you love Fenty Beauty prepare yourself for this game changer and like I said check out the shade range to get the right shade for you. Head over to www.fentybeauty.com for the full collection.
Lots of love

Hii~~~ I want to try make up on, but I dont really know how or where to begin(?) Like, I know theres a hell lot of products, but thats it! Dont really know how to make it work.
Hello darling!
Be prepared to read a long post. Makeup can be intimidating because there is 50 different types of things for the same thing.
You can put the bare necessities into two categories:
Skin care - It’s really important to make your skin look good even after you remover makeup
Actual Makeup - This is what we generally think of when thinking about makeup, but this should be removed before you go to sleep
In skincare, you could have the following:
Cleanser: This is to clean the makeup off your face as well as dirt and oil and other stuff that builds up throughout the day. You use this morning and night, before you apply your makeup, so that you have a fresh clean canvas to work with, and after you remove it, so that everything comes off. There’s different types based on your needs and likes. Some people have really oily skin whereas other people have really dry skin, and then there’s people like me that have combination skin where some parts are oily and some parts are dry. If you have acne, there may be some that are geared just for that, like ones with tea tree oil in them.
Exfoliator: You should only do this once or twice a week, otherwise you can irritate your skin and make it more prone to breaking out. There are some things that a cleanser cannot remove, like the upper layer of dead skin cells, or oil and dirt that have gone deep into your pores. There are physical and chemical exfoliators. I personally do not recommend using physical ones on your face because they can cause micro-abrasions into your skin. But once again, you may be able to find one that suits your skin type. You should use physical exfoliators on your body once a week, though, because just like a cleanser, soap and loofahs don’t get everything out.
Toner: This is certainly not a necessary thing, but it does help improve the overall look and glow of your skin, even when it’s bare faced. It’s usually the consistency of water, and witch hazel is a pretty popular toner, but you may be able to find one that, once again, suits your skin type. Take a shot for every time I say suit your skin type in this post...
Serum: If you have a certain dermal issue, like acne, or eczema, or even wrinkles, you may find a serum that helps with that. If you use a toner, then you put this on after the toner, but before the moisturizer. There’s also day and night serums, but that is based on whatever you are getting. If this step is overwhelming, then you can totally skip it.
Moisturizer: This is one step you should not skip, even if you have oily skin. This locks the moisture in and hydrates your skin all day so that it doesn’t flake or start producing excess oil to make up for the lack of hydration. If you have oily skin, then you can find a moisturizer that fits that skin type. You can even get a moisturizer with SPF.
Sunscreen: If your moisturizer and foundation does not have sunscreen then get separate sunscreen to apply, which you should even on a cloudy day, since the UV rays are still coming through.
Now that your skin has been taken care of, you can put on makeup.
Primer: If you’re planning on wearing your makeup for an entire day, or a night out when you know you’ll be sweaty, or you feel like your makeup will be smudged for whatever reason, you can put on a primer, which basically covers your skin like a paint primer so that that the makeup can have a smoother and a longer lasting finish. But, it’s not necessary. I only wear primers if I have a huge event to go to, like a wedding or something. I don’t bother with it on the daily.
Foundation vs BB Cream: Unlike foundations, BB, CC, and EE, creams focus on particular details, like color correcting, and other details. Foundations are heavier, even the lighter coverage ones, but they work better for heavier makeup. Make sure to have your foundation matched to your skin tone. I don’t want to hear any of this fair-and-lovely, or ethnically-ambiguous BS. It never looks good, and it’s just plain disrespectful. I also don’t recommend foundations with SPF, since those are the ones that tend to create flashback (is that what it’s called?) if you take a picture with the flash on.
Concealer: This is a couple shades lighter than your skin tone, and goes over the under-eye bags to brighten it up. You can also use concealer as a eye-shadow primer, to make sure that the powder doesn’t smudge throughout the day. Be sure to set it with a setting powder, which I’ll explain later.
Contour: If you don’t want to do this, then you’re more than welcome to skip it. But basically, applying darker shades in some places and light shades in others creates the illusion of a different facial structure, but can also make you look like a clown if done wrong. Once you get the hang of overall makeup, you can definitely try it out, but make sure you get some practice before you wear it out. If not, you can just apply a bit of bronzer under the cheek bones and be good to go.
Powders: Remember when you’d dig through your mom’s purse and find a compact mirror with a lil round sponge and a pressed powder? Those were the days. These days, you’re better off with a setting powder under the eye area, which is often too white, but you let it sit for a few minutes to “bake” into your foundation. Then you can apply translucent powder all over your face to finish the skin stuff.
Eyes: Eye-shadows are pretty straight forward, but I suggest looking at the color wheel to see what works best with your eye and hair color for the ultimate wow effect. Mascara and eyeliner get easier to put on with practice. You don’t have to curl your lashes. I think I’ve only ever done that once in my life and that was only to test it out. You can also shape and darken your eyebrows with Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow. Though you may need some practice to make it look natural.
Lips: You should try our liquid vs cream and gloss vs matte to figure out what you like best. Just keep in mind that matte liquid tends to stay on much longer than cream or gloss, and is also harder to budge, in case you plan on eating a messy meal or doing... messy activities.
Highlighter: If there is one trend that I wish would go out of style, it’s highlighters. Everyone seems to love it, which I respect, but I can’t help but think of disco balls every time I see a makeup guru on instagram. If you want to try it, apply a little but on the tip of your nose and cheekbones, and maybe a lil bit on your cupid’s bow and chin for an extra razzle dazzle.
Setting Spray: This is another one of those extra steps that you can take if you really want your makeup to last through a night out, or a trip to the beach in July. Once you’ve applied everything, hold the spray at an arms length and spritz your face like you’re disciplining a puppy. But, like, don’t discipline a puppy. That’s mean.
Here’s some general overall tips to remember:
These are a bunch of infographs about types of brushes and makeup applications that I could not explain here.
There are a ton of YouTubers that can teach you all sorts of makeup. I recommend Kaushal Beauty, Alexandra’s Girly Talk, and Brianna Fox, where I learnt all my makeup and other beauty stuff from, back when I knew absolutely nothing. For more bolder and artistic looks, you can check out Nikkie Tutorials.
Experiment with as many looks as you want, but if you’re trying something new, be sure to try it at home and when you’re not in a rush.
Keep practicing drawing on eyeliner, because that’s the only way you’ll get better at it.
If you want to go for the “natural” look, you can just apply some toner, sunscreen, and tinted moisturizer on your skin. You can also put on some mascara and lip gloss, and maybe do your brows if you have extra time. That way you look completely put together without it looking like you even bothered, because who even bothers to look good, right? We all just wake up like this.
I realize that I started slipping in more of my snark as time went on, but it was a long post, and I’m tired. Have fun playing with makeup, though! It’s actually pretty fun once you start doing it for yourself rather than to look good, because then the possibilities are endless and everyone’s Michelangelo.

6 Most Frequently Asked Questions about Face Primers
Face primer is a miracle product that fuses skincare and makeup. An insurance for your makeup, a primer creates a secure base for it to stay put for a long period of time. However, as popular as it may seem, there are many concerns and questions around this face makeup product that needs to be debunked. We’ve gone ahead and answered 6 most frequently asked questions about face primers:
What is a face primer and how does it work?
Face primer is a product that acts as a secure base for all of your makeup and a lot more than that. From filling up open pores, fine lines, wrinkles to controlling sebum production to colour correcting; a primer evens out your skin tone and protects it as well, helping you to flaunt your makeup better. Even though face primers have been in use for a long time, makeup artists and enthusiasts have only recently started taking a keen interest in this product. No wonder this product is super useful and is worth going that extra mile in your makeup routine.
How is a primer different from foundations and concealers then?
Primers fill pores, conceal blemishes and even help in giving your makeup an even base. So how is it different from concealers and foundations you ask? Well, a face primer is the first product to touch your skin after a moisturiser, and its main purpose is to create a protective film on your face from the regular onslaught of different makeup products. It also ensures that your makeup lasts a long duration without fading away. The foundation, however, is like your second skin and is applied over a primer to even out your skin tone and give your skin the desired dewy, matte or satin finish. A concealer on the other hand, as its name suggests, is a face makeup product that helps to hide blemishes, dark circles and acne marks only. These days, primers also come with concealing properties and you can choose to skip a concealer in your makeup routine.
What are the different types of primers?
As we mentioned earlier, primer makeup comes with different functionalities. Listed below are different types of primers you can opt for:
●Hydrating primer- Helps keep your skin hydrated under multiple layers of makeup.
●Smoothening primer- Blurs out fine lines and wrinkles.
● Colour correcting primer- balances uneven skin tone and creates a smooth clear base to apply makeup.
● Mattifying primer- Most suitable for oily skin, a mattifying primer controls the oil production and smoothens the skin.
Primers are generally available in powder, cream and liquid form. You can choose the one that suits your skin the best.
How to use a face primer?
The usage is fairly simple. Clean your face and apply a pea-sized portion of the primer of your choice on it. Massage in outward motion and let it dry. Wait for 5-6 minutes before moving on to the next product in your makeup regime. Which colour primer should you use?
While primers mostly came in clear shades, today you can choose from different colours based on your concerns. For example, a green primer will help mask blemishes and red acne marks and a blue primer helps even out unnatural skin tone. Coloured primers work on the logic of a colour wheel, i.e, colours on one side of a wheel will correct the colours on the corresponding side.
Do primers cause breakouts?
It’s very unlikely that a primer will cause breakouts. More often than not, breakouts are a result of underlying imbalances in your skin. While a makeup product might lead your skin to a point where the underlying cyst/acne breakout, with a primer, it's hardly ever the case. And since primers are formulated using skin loving ingredients, you can be rest assured that it won’t cause any harmful effects.

You wear makeup all the tome right, to blend in? So can you tell us what’s in your makeup bag that you carry with you for touch ups? If it’s expensive can you give us a cheaper alternative?
Well recall that my entire goal is to look human, so my makeup bag is mostly complexion products and color correction. So I suppose I’ll have to go in two iterations to do this right: 1. What I have, 2. The alternative list for a budget.
1. I will go in the order of application for me:
Milk makeup primer stick (I often use a primer because it makes my skin, which is quite smooth, a bit more tacky, so that it holds the makeup)
A face lotion from Orogin that I use to thin down and make my foundation tacky
Estee Lauder Doublewear foundation in two shades, one in a pale pink undertone and one in a light gold.
I’m currently playing with two or three concealer types, but I most often use Makeup Revolution, tarts shape tape, and Colourpop no filter. I’ve been trying the Jeffree Star, the Morphe. I have severa colors from dark to light, and severa red, yellow, and pink shades for color correction.
Laura Mercier setting powder, Becca, and tarts’s setting powder in the Amazonian collection. Beauty Bakerie has their baking powder.
I have several blushes, severa from tarte , NARS, and a few Milani and again Makeup Revolution
I use bronzers extensively. I truly love the Benefit Hoola, there’s a Marc Jacobs that I sometimes carry but it’s large, I have recently been carrying palettes that have many types of contouring shades. Color FX has an excellent kit, tarte. I’ve gone through several other brands so I sometimes cycle through
I like to sometimes use a highlighter. Hourglass Ambient light or Amrezzy are my favorites but I’ve also used Charlotte Tillbhry, Ofra (excessive in many ways and more of a night out sort of face). I wear these to look s if I have sweat and so I go for warmer, less glittery, wet look highlighters.
For my every day, I don’t really use eyeshadow that is interesting, so I’m afraid you’ll be disappointed but lately I have used a palette sent to me by Targe, which is in their Amazonian clay line. I like the texture of the mattes in this collection and find them to be lost skin like. Tarte’s eyeshadows in general are very well made. I also like ABH’s soft glam palette. I have two Morphe palettes that are all nudes. Melt cosmetics, Irban Decau Naked, and Visiart also have nudes that I like.
Brows are a bit of a tedium for me. I use false ones, and fill in, but it depends on the brand because sometimes I can’t fill in with a pencil or a balm. I highly enjoy the Benefit precisely my brow pencil and take it everywhere. The brow powder by them as well as the brow gel both amazingly effective. I like the ABH dip brow pomade for individual hairs and fine lines and precision.
My lashes are always false and I use several brands. I don’t use mascara.
I like the Smashbox liquid lips in the square tubes because they feel nice and have excellent staying power, while looking natural. I also will carry a colourpop lix lipstick in a nude shade
Setting spray, I use several. My favorite is the Gerard Cosmetics
So right now that’s what is in my bag.
2. A human-friendly version in two parts:
What you might like from what I have and an affordable alternative for each
Primer depends on skin type. For humans, I think many people prefer to have pore blurring effects. I have toyed with many and the one I like best is the Tacha silk canvas or the Farsali skin tune. If you like a silicone, go with Benefit’s porefessional. Hourglass has a wonderful primer that has a slippery effect but sets down tacky. Surprisingly, ELF makes dupes of both the silk canvas and the porefessional. Look for the porelress putty and their silicone based primer. Nyx has an amazing dupe of the Hourglass primer that is one third the cost.
Foundation depends on skin type also. If you have dry skin, get a dewy foundation. Dior makes an excellent one that...slides off my face. Hourglass stick foundations are excellent. If you have oily skin, then you’ll likely prefer Marc Jacobs, Estée Lauder, MAC. For affordable alternatives for this, I have truly enjoyed the Makeup Revolution foundations, the maybeline Fit Me and the long wear one with the red cap. I hear good things about the Colourpop, the elf, and the newest one from wet and wild.
Concealers don’t need to be difficult. Tarte shape tape is one of the best and longest lasting. A very good dupe for it is the Makeup Revolution. I also love the maybeline concealers and the colourpop no filter. Kokie cosmetics is also very useable for me.
Blush is NARS or Tarte. Milani is a lovely dupe for these. I have the spice palette from Makeup Revolution that is very nice and Bh cosmetics has a lovely palette of blushes also. Note has nice cheap blushes. Colourpop has some very nice supershock blushes that are ideal for dry skin
Contour is Marc Jacobs definitely. Hoola is also wonderful. I like the Tarteist pro palette. Again Makeup Revolution is lovely as a dupe for the MJ, and recently bH cosmetics has a palette that works lovely as a bronzer.
Highlight depends on your taste, to be subtle, Hourglass Ambient, Ofra for drama. Affordable alternatives are wet n wild, MR, Colourpop.
Setting powders are tedious. They can truly dry the skin. There’s too many to name but I think Laura Mercier is the most famous. Try Flower Beauty or ELF for an alternative.
For brow products, go with elf, nyx, and maybeline. Elf has a clear setting gel, several pencils. The maybeline is the best dupe for the Benefit precisely my brow. Elf has a pomade. Mix has a colored gel and a good powder.
Lip products are always up in the air for me because there are so bloody many of them. If you want staying power, there’s beauty bakerie, Kat von d (her lip products are stellar but again I cannot support her anymore), Jeffree Star. For creamier formulas I enjoy Smashbox, Tilbury, MAC. Buy what you like but they’re all generally the same. Wet n wild bullet lipsticks are $.99 and wonderful texture. Colourpop’s lux lipsticks are wonderful and amazing in color pay off. Their liners are also wonderful. Nyx has a dupe for the smashbox liquod lip. They’re in tiny tubes and named after cities. They’re lovely.
Mascaras are odd for me because—as I’ve played with them they don’t actually work for me because I use them on a false lash, so I recommend the following based on my research: too faced, better than sex, Benefit, bad gal bang, butter London, and the maybeline mascaras. Rimmel makes some that are quite popular.
Eyeliners are entirely up to you. I like MAC and urban decay. For affordable alternatives, Colourpop and wet n wild are good
Eyeshadow...that’s a huge discussion. I can give many recommendations but that’s not true to the question. The palettes I use most often are by the brands ABH, Tarte, Morphe and a palette I’ve created that is a mix of shadows I’ve taken from many brands, so it’s difficult for me to recall brands. I reckon it’s mostly Colourpop, makeup geek, makeup forever, coastal scents, and deck of scarlet. I use the melt black color because it’s the best I’ve found. If you like the ABH palettes, look to wet n wild and Colourpop. If you like bold colors I recommend BH and Makeup Revolution. In truth, this is the one area I’d invest some money, because the formulas do matter. Jefree Star may be expensive but the shadows blend well and have pigment. But Sugarpill and Morphe and a few cheaper brands make similar pigments.
Setting sprays are a matter of opinion. I like Gerard because as I said, my goal is to look human, so I like the sheen and the tack it leaves. I like the way it pins everything down. I cannot find a dupe for it. I’ve heard good things about Irban decay and Pixie, which is an affordable brand.
You can buy a Beauty blender sponge or spend hundreds on brushes, but don’t. It’s easy to find good tools. Try “Shop Miss A” for excellent sponges and elf and Nyx make excellent brushes. I like Luxe brushes, Morphe are alright
Anyway...I hope I’ve answered well. Ask me if you need advise for identical shoes of colors and whatnot. I enjoy testing them and researching.

This is my June @ipsy with 5 goodies I cant wait to try from @ofracosmetics the SOHO highlighter that I had gotten before but am not mad at getting it again because it is soo amazing 😉, @firstaidbeauty Pores be Gone Matte Primer, @dewytree_official Clean Lab AC DEW Foam I love to try new face cleansers, @pop_beauty lip liner in Risque Rose this is my kind of colors 😁, and last but certainly not least @paparecipe_official Eggplant Clearing Mud Cream Mask I love me some face masks ☺️. This month the little bag itself is sooo cute and happy. I love trying new things because that way I have discovered amazing products. This is why I enjoy @ipsy so much because I get to try products that sometimes I am not sure to buy the full thing so I get a chance to test it before knowing if I should go ahead and buy it, another good thing is product in @ipsy are of a very good size to actually test them out for a while and then decide. #ipsymakewaves #ipsybag #iloveipsy #ilovemakeup #mymakeupcollection #makeupjunkies #makeupisart #iloveskincare #takecareofyourself #takecareofyourskin #skincareproducts #onfleek #onpoint https://www.instagram.com/p/CBrHwYqp1nn/?igshid=p2ypmmgimn0e

i watched a bunch of project pan videos while i cleaned my brushes and...FINE! i’ll do it this year. some of this i’ve been working on with this intention for ages but maybe if i name it, lol. i should probably participate in online spaces where the other ppl are doing this but....ok! not counting the stuff i’ll definitely use up (brow pencils, mascara, my daily powder, mac fix+ etc). mostly minis but leave me alone:
FACE
thebalm mary lou manizer. this is really as good as people claim, and i really am going to, as the hurus say, “enjoy using it up”--good looking pan on that already!
too faced chocolate soleil bronzer. looking forward to rewarding myself with mac taupe in place of this, and a cream contour if i can find one like fenty amber for cheaper. i use it on my eyes a lot also, like i could use this as an eye contour colour every day with whatever else i do, but i’ll be happy to switch that function to that medium brown in the naked 1.
benefit f...fake up? this is the product that is now the boiing hydrating concealer. this is kind of nice and i’d consider buying it again, but i like more undereye coverage now actually. there’s only a few uses left of this!
this hard candy liquid illuminator that was never good but which i’ve been determined to defeat. it’s maybe down to a third, but the last few times i tried to wear it it got kinda clumpy. might be a loss.
model co blush in peach bellini. hate to want to give this up because it’s gorgeous and one of my favorite blushes, but it breaks constantly and i’m sick of babysitting it. i also wear it very heavy so this should be doable. will maybe replace with a higher end version of the same concept, a rusty coral full of shine.
benefit girl meets pearl. i can probably finish this up in a few weeks if i pay attention!
the face stuff i probably won’t make any progress on til the summer
benefit pores no more. probably just a few more uses left in this, i’m hoping i can make winter space for it (want to feel better buying the elf putty primer when i get a chance to)
dr. brandt pores no more. pretty full mini but if i use up the above asap i can get this finished by the end of summer.
tarte natural cheek stain. this is so so so old and inexplicably still gorgeous, i figured it’s only a matter of time and i should probably target it, for the summer when it looks nicest. probably quarter of an inch left of this.
benefit fine one one. another creamy cheek thing that is nicest in the summer. probably half an inch left. i’m determined! if rgr finishes cream blushes, she can have a nudestix cream blush the hurus love? as a treat?
this physicians formula high alcohol setting spray--there’s so much left of this and i’m going nowhere, but i reaaaallly wanna use it up so i can move on to a bottle of ud all nighter sephora accidentally gave me. i so rarely wear this kind of setting spray! i will not pan this, and i should pass it on to someone else. it’s like loaded with alcohol lol
EYE
very old urban decay midnight cowgirl? idk, got a lot of pan, and since it’s more like a glitter additive i feel like it won’t make me feel stifled to work on this.
this “eye polish”?? what it is is a bottle of shimmery loose shadow on a foam applicator thing. it’s stupid to use and impossible to decant but i’m gonna try to remember to use it for my inner corner because it is actually so gorgeous
essence make me brow. unclear how i haven’t used this up??? it goes and goes
stila silver dollar. i have three silver eyeliners, they’re all nice but this is my least favorite because it’s so white. since it’s a stick and not a pencil i should use it before it dries up.
i’ll add some colourpop super shocks to this when i get duraline to freshen em up, probably.
LIP
this starlooks creamy nude gloss thing. this is actually pretty nice but i doubt i’ll use it up, i’ll just give it til the fall or so. i’m sick of looking at it.
buxom soft matte whatever in centerfold. lots of retailer birthday gifts here lol. this is too warm for me to love but i’m gonna give it a shot.
urban decay 69 in the old REVOLUTION formula. fuck, i’ve been working on this for years and i accidentally fell in love with it. it’s gorgeous on me. a wetter red lipstick is really the thing. i’ll use it up easily but miss it when it’s gone, and i’ll consider repurchasing in the new vice formula but revlon’s fire and ice is very close to this, a tiny bit darker.
colourpop the rabbit. this is fairly full but it’s a liquid lipstick that i actually like wearing so i should try to use it all up. this is what i was wearing the other night, at new years.
colourpop trap. listen... i bought the closest lipstick dupe to this and it’s just not the same. i’m gonna miss this! there’s maybe like 2 wears left in here.
the tarte lip paint thing in birthday suit. i actually kinda like this, for a nude, and i’ve worn it enough that i should be able to use it up.
bare minerals marvelous moxie lipstick in get ready. more birthday nudes! it pains me to put this on here because it’s actually one of my favorite lipsticks and one of the best formulas i’ve ever tried, and they don’t make it anymore! i looove wearing this. a brighter nude, still nude. a pleasure to wear. i should just use it up and, again, as they say, “enjoy it.”
gingerbread lip balm for going under all these fucking liquid lipsticks
makeup forever whatever in no9 or something. this is a brownier nude, which i’d like if it wasn’t an inferior version of one i like from urban decay or something. i probably won’t actually finish this and it’s starting to dry out, but i oughta take a crack at it.
rimmel exaggerate lipliner in rich. i wear lipliner a lot more now (workdays) and want to beef up my stash, but first i wanna get rid of all the old ones and twist-ups that might dry out. this might be close to done.
see you in the next quarter! whoms joining me
#pan#not doing skincare because my skincare is carefully edited already!#also i just ran out of everything and replaced it#makeup

Hi Bea! Your makeup is so nice! What products do you use normally?
HELLO FRIEND! This is answered late (I apologize)
thank you for the compliment hehe, you’re so sweet!
only until last year I started using more high-end products (which is crazy!!! but I dont regret the change, I think $40-50 foundation over $20 is worth it imo) so here is my list but keep reading for my drug store recs!
1. foundation / fenty beauty foundation in shade 260- Inexpensive option compared to other foundations, it’s $35 for 1.08 fl oz compared to when I spent $43 for 1 fl oz for Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation (I didn’t see a difference in performance for either?)- Comes with a pump so I get to control how much I use- WIDE RANGE OF SHADES! I think this foundation line had a shade closer to my skin color than Estee Lauder, which was more orangey?
2. concealer / tarte shape tape concealer / (now trying) fenty concealer- I liked the tarte shape tape concealer, but it was too thick for me? Like it definitely was high coverage but I never used the doe foot applicator cause it applied too much, I used my sponge to take the LITTLIEST bit and put it on the CREASE of my eyebags, never the entire thing cause I just want to remove the ‘sunken bag’ of my eyebags LOL- I havent used fenty for long but it feels lighter and the concealer performs as well as tarte :’)
3. baking powder - laura mercier setting powder (translucent)- HOLY GRAIL! I love using this, it removes creases and just sets the foundation in place so it stays the WHOLE day!- Even if you dont use high end foundation, I think setting it will make the different
4. eyeshadow - Huda Beauty Palette (given by @hannies i love u thank u)- I love this palette :( i love pinks so this is literally all I use every time I wanna add some sparkles- I love how there’s numerous textures in the palette! I go for the crushed glitter because it reminds me of chungha’s look and how she adds glitter pieces to her eyes??- I dont do crazy looks but this palette can go dramatic or daytime and I love that!
5. Setting spray - urban decay spray- i JUST started using this???- I think it does something.......like.....it prevents my makeup from moving around especially when I sweat!! (something the powder DOESNT do)
drug store recs // Lo’real Infalliable Pro Matte - I wore this for YEARS and then I just went through them so fast and if I tried rationing it looked patchy so I wanted a better foundation! // ELF contour palette (cream) - just started using this but its so easy to use and is so cheap! They don’t have a wide range so if you are on the darker or lighter end it may not work out! // NYX Studio Perfecting Primer - apparently a dupe for smashbox’s primer but I never used smash box and don’t plan on spending $$ for a primer so I like this one! Still on the more expensive end at $14 but it reduces the appearance of pores which I like! // NYX Liquid lips - i am not a huge fan of lipsticks cause I eat and its gone (hence I go for lip stains) but the colors are so lovely!!!!

Happy November everyone!!!!!
How you all doing? I love November for me it’s the perfect month the nights get darker, the weather gets colder, the layers get thicker and London gets lit up with all it’s Christmas and festive lights. For me I practically consider the pre-Christmas month since everything gets so much festive and cheerful in London. But before we start enjoying November I wanted to look back to October and what products I used and new products discoveries.
Throughout October I mainly used two face primers the first being my trusty drugstore option which is the Concealer & Fix Matify Primer by Revolution costing £8.00, this primer never fails me and always makes my makeup last without getting oily. My highend option I’ve also been using is Porefessional Primer by Benefit £22 , this primer focuses more on blurring pores and helps find imperfections. In a normal routine I’ll either use both primers mixed together or pick one depending on the day but both have not failed me so far.
In terms of my actual facebase I have been using 2 products almost consistently throughout the month those being my Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation £34.00 and my Revolution Concealer & Define Concealer £4.00. I got the foundation as a birthday gift from the girls at work which is so sweet and it’s honestly become my favourite highend foundation it gives me flawless coverage, keeps me matte for ages and leaves my skin feeling so smooth. My Revolution concealer is something I have always had in my makeup bag since I think they first released the concealer if I’m honest. I love the coverage, I love how affordable it is and most importantly I love how it blends with all my foundations regardless of the product. For setting powder it’s no surprise my Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Powder £24.00 is in this picture I have been obsessed with it for months and it honestly keeps my face matte for so long it’s unreal. I also have a drugstore option which is the Revolution Matte Powder £5.00, this powder is definitely a more affordable dupe on my Fenty powder but these powders have a much bigger range of colours so it can give you a little tint of colour. I also wanna give my Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Setting powder a little shoutout this month I tried the lavender shade and so far I’m loving it, sets my face perfectly without caking me out.
For highlight and contour I have been using a mixture a brands. For bronzing and contour I have been using my trusty Benefit Hoola Lite bronzer £24.00 to help define my cheek bones and give me a bit of colour. This is probably the only bronzer I can use that actually suits my pale complexion and it’s a miracle I finally found a product that works for me. For highlight I’ve gone back to my favourite are Revolution highlight costing £3.00, this highlighter is a mixture of gold and pink tones and also helps add some more dimension to my face. To keep the theme of glow, I have been using my Fenty Gloss bombs religiously to give my makeup a bit of dimension and shine while the weather has been so dull. It’s been so fun using my new Gloss Bombs from the Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Collection £34.00.
Lastly let’s chat eyes. My first fav actually goes back to the Revolution Concealer, this concealer makes the perfect base for eyeshadow. It really helps the pigment of the eyeshadows show and last much longer, I find it makes product last as long as a eye primer would normally. Next we have to chat about Blood Sugar £48.00. This palette is so iconic and was honestly worth the hype, the colours are beautiful and perfect for this time of year especially. I’ve only recently got this palette so I’m still testing a few bits out but overall so far I’m obsessed and in love. (And side note the Jeffree Star x Shane Dawson collection comes out today and I can’t wait to get my hands on those palettes). Last product of the this favourites is Mascara. Last month or the end of September (who can remember) I picked up a mascara from Primark for £2.50/£3.00 and since then I keep going back to it. It’s brilliant it gives your eyes the perfect amount of volume without giving you thick spider lashes. It’s also quick and easy to get off without hurting your eyes which is always a plus.
And there we have it folks my October favourites! I hope you enjoyed reading this post and if you made it to the end without getting bored then more power to you.
Lots of love
Bella x x

Don’t worry ladies, We have amazing Best beauty tips for rainy season. that are the solution of the skin on rainy days.
This post is relatable to all those lovely ladies who love glamour. In this, I will also share my experience of what advice did I utilize.
Don't worry ladies, we have amazing beauty tips for your beautiful skin
I hope you will enjoy this work as well.
During the rainy season, the humidity and viscosity become the highest, due to which the oil in our skin becomes more active, irritation occurs and the skin becomes dehydrated.
1. Water for Glowing Skin
Dehydration is the biggest problem in monsoon. We should drink a lot of water so that the skin stays hydrated and the bad toxins are removed.
You know that drinking too much water makes the skin glow and wrinkles do not come. Try this and glow like a star.
2. Avoid Foundation
Monsoon, your skin also has difficulty in breathing, so do not apply an oil-based moisturizer or oil-based foundation on your skin this season,
If you want to apply a moisturizer, then see it should not oil-based. I would advise you to do makeup matte in the monsoon, this will open your pores more and will give the skin a boost.
3. A Healthy Diet is Important
You know that your food and drink also affects your skin. If you take care of your food and drink on time and take a healthy diet, then your skin will always be sparkling and glowing. You must include seasonal fruits, green vegetables in your daily diet. A healthy diet is the best beauty tips for the rainy season. You can check out Importance of Eating Healthy, Nutritious Food for a Comfortable Life and follow it in your daily routine
4. Prevent Fungal Infection
You know that the rainy season promotes fungal infection. So remember that you have to stay dry as much as possible, Do not go out in wet clothes or water for a long time.
Best Beauty Tips For Rainy Days
During the rainy season, our skin gets very absorbed due to which it is difficult to keep makeup on it. So to make this problem a little easier, I have brought some beauty tips which will help you to keep your make-up perfect even in monsoon.
Cleanser
The cleanser is the first step to keep your skin good. If you clean your skin properly, then dead skin, dirt will come out of it and the skin will not get harmed. Use Micellar water or coconut oil to remove the makeup. Use mild face wash for cleansing.
Toning
You have to do toning after cleansing. In the rainy season, by toning, the bacteria that accumulate in our skin along with air and water, they become clean. If you have dry skin then you can avoid toner. Toner is good for acne-prone skin and oily skin. Toning is the best beauty tips for rainy season
Moisturizer
After toning, the pores in our skin open. Therefore, we should use a moisturizer after toner. So that our skin will get good nourishment and it will remain hydrated. Because the dehydrated skin problem occurs in the monsoon, for which moisturizers work best. You know that you should sleep at night only after moist skin.
Sunscreen
Do not leave your home without applying sunscreen. This protects our skin from UVB and UVA rays. You have to apply 30 days of sun cream before you leave the house for 20 minutes. You should try waterproof makeup in monsoon. Sunscreen is the best beauty tips for rainy season
Use Powder
You should do matte makeup only during rainy days. During monsoon, you should not use the cream-based products during the rainy season. The powder-based will give you a matte look. You should not put too many foundations and concealer. The powder-based foundation is very good during the monsoon season. And it is necessary to apply primer before makeup.
Matte Lipstick
Glossy and creamy lipstick should not be used during the rainy season. In this season we should use matte lipstick (lip tints). It gives a good look to the face in this season. Gloss lipstick blends quickly in monsoon. Matte lipstick gives you a bold and confident look.
Waterproof Eyeliner and Mascara
You should always use waterproof eyeliner and mascara. Whenever you get a liner, take care to hydrate your lids first. If you expect a good matte finish then use pen liner only. It is easier than a liquid liner. You can also use a Kajal pencil.
Hair
Do not keep your hair open during the monsoon. You should keep it tied. Having loose hair will spoil your hair quickly, their moisturizer will also be gone. You should make bun or pony of hair. It is necessary to apply oil in your hair, which will end the freeze in this season. If the hair gets wet in the rain, then it must be washed.
I hope you have read my make-up, Best Beauty Tips For Rainy season and found it useful if you also know some tips that you use during the monsoon then definitely share it because sharing is caring.
