I was wondering about this idea for a while, but what about Wally with a parent reader? As in, the reader is parent of a kid watching the show, and Wally can see the room that the viewers are watching from. Wally notices the reader in the background and becomes interested in them. Idk I just thought it was an interesting idea. OwO

The Show Must Go on Darling: Wally x Parent g/n Reader

Today was a showing of your kid, Zoey’s favorite show Welcome Home. You always saw how she loved it at home so you worked double shifts to save up extra money to take her. She was all smiles and giggles and you enter the studio. You are a single parent and life can be hard but you love your little angel so much you’d do anything to make her smile. You and her sit together in the audience area , separate from the stage by a wall and window to show the show but also make sure the kids don’t run up and mess up the puppets. You look around. And it seems you are the only adult here with your child except from security. They must be regulars and their parents trust the studio enough to leave them here alone. The opening them song plays and a card board welcome home comes down from ceiling and rolls back up and the lights turn on , on the other side of the wall and a puppet with blue hair says , “Welcome neighbor, how are you today?” The kids say how they are including your angel and you smile fixing her hair. You are very surprised at how well the puppets are moving like they are alive ,which they are but the audience doesn’t know. Since the kids started squishing your daughter Zoey you put her on your lap and watch the episode they are recording.

Wally smiles at the kids and starts todays episode asking his question . But this time he is a bit shocked when he asks. There is an adult in the audience. Usually it’s only children sitting and watching them do their bits and such. He just couldn’t stop his eyes from always going back to them. They seem to have a kid they deeply cared for which says something because all the other kids parents ditch them here. As todays problem of accidentally messing up Howdy’s shop today with Julie happened. He was always looking at the audience the whole time. While he and Julie hide away from howdy. While Poppy gets onto them for it and saying they have to do the right thing. To them going to Howdy and saying they are sorry and will clean everything up. To howdy giving them both a hug and then brooms and a mop. To the store being cleaned and it late in the evening as Julie and Wally separate and Wally heads to home. Wally says “Well thank you neighbor for helping out today. We sure made a mess. I hope to see you again …. Really soon.” Wally smiles wide and waves heading back into Home and the lights go off and all the kids cheer.

You smile as Zoey laughs and smiles on your lap happily . “Well sweetheart, I hope you had a lovely day. I know how much you love this show and I just wanted to show you I love you,” you say and give her forehead a kiss. She jumps off your lap and reaches for you hand and y’all head to the exit. Suddenly a man ran up to you panting yelling wait. You turn around and stopped worried about the man and wait cause you felt bad. “ I’m Ronald Dorelaine, creator of welcome home and the neighborhood. One of our staff members would like to offer you life time passes for the show,” he says talking in breathes from running so fast. You gasp and shake your head, “oh no we couldn’t take that. We know how expensive it is to make the show and don’t want to take money and time out of your budget.” You smile and shake your head , not knowing a puppet was watching through the window glaring at Ronald. “No I insist you have it. Our main star wants y’all to come back more. We appreciate you watching the show and hope to see you again,” he said swearing either from running or nervous and gives y’all two passes then runs away. Little Zoey squeals and hugs hers. “(P/n) (that means parent name) we can come back whenever a new taping is. Oh can we please,” Zoey says practically giving puppy dog eyes. You sigh and nod. “I’ll make sure to take days off on the day of the shows for you Zoey,” you say and she squeals grabbing your hand and pulling you out of the studio. Not knowing a puppet was very happy and whispering, “ See you again, neighbor.”

Welcome Home, but Every Neighbor is embodying MLP Creepypasta/Horror Story, lol

YES THIS WAS ENTIRELY INSPIRED BY THE RAINBOW FACTORY AU (made by @dodozoi ) AND THE CUPCAKES AU (made by @azraelcreates )! I just love them so much omg- I saw them, then my thought was like "Okay, but what if each neighbor was based on a separate MLP Creepypasta/Horror Story? Welcome Home seems to mesh well with MLP horror fiction." I couldn't find a Welcome Home AU like this, so here's my idea!

So, like, here some examples:

Poppy loves baking, so, it makes sense that she would be Cupcakes. Her personality would basically be Poppy, BUT she's hiding the true secret of what is in her baked goods. The neighbors that do help don't see her sneak in the secret ingredient when they aren't looking, or don't realize that an ingredient may not be what it's labeled.

Julie is a rainbow monster, so she would be Rainbow Factory. Sure, she may or may not actually have/work at a rainbow factory (still ironing out the details), but she is still using gruesome means to make rainbows for whatever reason she needs them. Her sister's may or may not be in on the business, too.

Wally might be based on The Candy Mare. If I do have him based on that story, he'd take the role of... Well... The Candy Mare! He'd be entirely made of various sweets, intending to eat random people who wander into the neighborhood. He'd be great at hiding his candy features, however, often using extreme measures to do so. From potions made by one of the other neighbors, to makeup (most likely also made by sweets, in order not to irritate his candy skin), to whatever he can manage. He wants his victims to be calm until the very end. Home would most likely be a gingerbread house.

Best part about this AU, in my opinion?: None of the neighbors are going to be aware of the other neighbors having these disturbing tendencies. Nobody going to know what Poppy's got going on but Poppy. Nobody is going to know that Julie uses unethical practices to make rainbows but Julie (and maybe her sisters). Nobody is going to know that Wally is a being made of candy that is eating people and that Home is actually a gingerbread house and NOT an oddly decorated house other than Home and Wally.

Other ideas I have are Eddie being An Apple Sleep Experiment and an alternative version of Wally revolving around The Cough. But I will get to those when I get to them! I'm most likely going to base their designs around the human designs for the Welcome Home characters, as well. Why? Because I like drawing them! OwO

Happy birthday

In this happy occasion of Sir Douglas Haig’s 161st birthday (it’s passed midnight but still—happy belated birthday biatch), I shall show you all what I’ve done in Edinburgh during the unusually long bank holiday weekend at the start of this month.

Yes. I had yeeted myself to Edinburgh, just because of you 😤😤😤😤

I don’t really post stuff on British history much here but there you go, perhaps the only occasion that I will post about it, because I am utterly in love with this wholesome man who is not as dumb and callous as I think. He is really just a man after all and today, I am not going to hide my appreciation to him as it is his birthday and he deserves better.

Anyways, I’ve taken so many pics in this section of the Museum of Edinburgh and here are some highlights for you 🙈

1. His early life (that’s his early career and a pic of him and his favourite sister Henrietta OwO)

2. Douglas in his natural habitat (him during his uni days and the other was him with his polo teammates)

3. Uniforms (he’s quite beefy ngl—oh yes you can also see his passport in the first pic, my mum has one that’s similar to his but in red ÓwÒ (talking about living in an ex-British colony heh))

4. That one famous order that he gave the BEF in 1918 during the German spring offensive

5. Last but not the least, poppies OwO (do you know? After retiring from service, he dedicated the rest of his life to ex-service men and was the resident of the Royal British Legion until his sudden death in 1928)

“Why did Techno make us do this? This sucks.” Tommy complained, setting down the gardening hoe to fix his large straw hat. Ranboo shrugged, kneeling to plant some more seeds before standing up to get more.

“Tommy, why do you have that stupid hat on?” Tubbo laughed from the side, holding a dandelion with a small colorful beetle resting on it.

“Okay- for starters, it’s not stupid! It’s protecting me from the sun, dummy! Secondly, why aren’t you helping?” Tommy crossed his arms, glaring at the boy playing with flowers and bugs.

“I’m playing with my friends. Meet Jeffery!” He beamed, holding up the dandelion with the same beetle on it. “Fuck Jeffery, come help us get the job done,” Tommy shouted playfully, picking up his gardening hoe to continue to prepare the land for planting.

“Yeah Tubbo, the sooner we get this done the sooner we can all relax!” Ranboo exclaimed, filling his bucket with water at the pond right next to the farm they were building for Techno. “The sooner you get it done you can relax. I’m fine right here.” The boy in overalls sassily expressed, gasping as a small butterfly settled on a poppy next to him.

“Whatever, you better get over here before we force you to help, Tubs!” Tommy warned, then turning around to plant a few potato seeds. “Yeah Tubbo, this is your last warning!” Ranboo called out in a playful singy-tone, patting his hands to get the dirt off of them.

“Oh uh, I’m sooo scared.” Tubbo rolled his eyes, laying back in the grass to soak in some sun and enjoying the noises of birds and just the nature around them. Tommy and Ranboo glared at each other then smirked, knowing exactly how to proceed with this.

“You better be!” Ranboo called out, quietly putting down the bucket of water and Tommy gently placing his gardening tools on the ground. Tommy made a motion with his hand for Ranboo to come to him, and they both gingerly approached Tubbo.

“Eek! Where did you guys come from?!” Tubbo jumped when he saw both his friends tower over him, Ranboo with his hands on his hips and Tommy crossing his arms. “From the garden. Get up, before we have to go to extreme measures…” Tommy warned, a sneer growing on his face.

“Make me.”

“Never thought you’d ask,” Ranboo giggled, kneeling on the grass to sneak his hands around Tubbo's overalls to gently claw his ribcage. “Nehehevermihihind!” He whined, arching his back to get away from the fingers that were tickling him.

“Nope! Alright said it, can’t take it back!” Tommy snickered, pulling up Tubbo’s arms only to sit on them so he can’t squirm away. “TOHOHOMMY!” Tubbo shrieked, the tickly sensations increasing now that he can’t protect himself.

“Y’know Tubbo, you can just agree to help us and this would end… but you love our tickles, don’tcha? Hmmm?” Ranboo cooed, using a single claw on both sides of his waist to gently scritch against the skin, the feeling so light but so unbearable.

“He’s right! Just promise you’ll help us and this would alllll be over!” Tommy teased, lowering his hands to flutter his fingers into Tubbo’s underarms, occasionally moving down to gently pinch his upper ribs and wriggle a few nails against his neck.

“NEHEHEHVER! I’M ON BREHEHEAK!” Tubbo squealed, kicking his legs on the ground and attempting to hide his bright red face into his shoulder. “On break?! On break for what? You didn’t even do any work!” Tommy questioned, acting playfully angry as his fingertips vibrated into his underarms.

“Tubs, you better agree to help us before I pull out the big guns!” Ranboo warned, grinning evilly as he started to lean down towards his ribs. “NO! NOHOHOHO! RAHAHBOHOHO- EEEEHEHEHE!” Tubbo squealed as he felt a raspberry right in the center of his ribcage.

“You’re so cute, Tubbo!” Tommy exclaimed, slowing his fingers down so they were barely tracing around his upper ribs and underarms. “I’M NOHOHOHOT!” Tubbo whined through his laughter, shaking his head and squeezing his eyes shut so he can’t see their teasy smiles.
