Still having so many thoughts. The episodes have been marinating and since so much was left up to interpretation that’s all I can do.

At first I was like 3 centuries and she wasn’t able to rationalize rio taking Nicky not because she wanted to but because she had to ? Seems like a bit much. But I thought about it and it’s no wonder she blames rio entirely. Because if she didn’t then it must mean it’s her fault. That her mother was right. That this baby whom she did nothing to conjure that she instead only accepted and waited for. Someone that came from her very soul is doomed from the very beginning. Clearly there’s something wrong with her and if there’s something wrong with her there’s something wrong with rio. Because why would she give her this false hope. That she isn’t evil that she can be good that she can be a great mother only to rip it away from her. To take the purest part of her. Why fill her with false hopes and dreams for the future. And also how stupid could she be. To fall in love with Death. How could this have ended any other way then by her once again not being the one chosen. Because rio is doing her job. Like her mom was doing her job to keep her coven safe. But what about her. What about what she wants. Why are their duties always more important than her. And why does she keep deluding herself into thinking she’s worthy of being loved and chosen.

And so what does she do ? She rejects all of it. She rejects rio and her affections. Her love is pointless clearly. And instead she embraces her mothers beliefs. Stays cruel and manipulative. Because power can’t betray her like love can. Power can’t hurt her like love can. Power is her biggest defense and oldest comfort.

Hey guys, I know a lot of folks are new to Tumblr so they might not know about this kind of scam, but this person in particular @theysheever is currently sending this copy and pasted message to several blogs posting about Baldur's Gate (cause its trending) so this is going here. They've also been at this scam for a while now and there's no doubt in my tired mind they'll delete soon and move onto another shell

This smuck's current blog was created Oct 3 and their donation post was made about an hour from me getting this ask. The PayPal they use is also one used in recent known scam blogs

Its worth noting, someone known for calling them out several times before was preemptively blocked by them (i went and sent the scam post to them so that's how that was learned)

As sad as it is to say 90% of the time there is no cat or sick animal. It sucks, but these people are trying to scam you. I mean, it's not even the same cat in their pinned post that they ripped from facebook

The best thing to do with these kinda asks is to block the person who sent it, report them, and let others know to be on the lookout

I had my first mastectomy while pregnant last year and recently finished chemo and radiation, which is huge but me and my family still have a LONG road ahead of us! I’ve had a few of these popping up in my inbox claiming various different needs for donations. If anyone is getting unprompted asks like this, I encourage you do do a quick copy paste of some of the text into a search engine to see who actually originally posted it, and additionally to report these accounts for phishing.

Or at least Vesper Sinclair is the name they go by most of the time. They don’t actually have a last name and their real first name is Vex, but they’re a changeling so they’ve gone by a lot of identities and their real name stays kind of close to the chest. Vesper is the name they use in the campaign with their party.

If you didn’t know, changelings are shapeshifters, and don’t often live with many other changelings (just like parents if they know them) but Vesper never met the parents! They grew up as an orphan and consequentially, being an orphan and a shapeshifter, they became, well, adept at getting away with stealing.

They essentially grew up as a tiny grifter and subsequently grew up into a charming charlatan! They met the team by scamming the hell out of the noble in the crew, Vinny, and Vinny ending up taking an affinity to them.

They are a sassy little shit, and a taaaad blasé with the law, but will slip an orphan some bread if they think the crew isn’t looking. Has probably attempted to (and succeeded to) turn a couple kids into criminal masterminds.

They’re genderfluid and will change pronouns to match the presentation of the face they’re wearing. They/them when not shapeshifted!

Also a bit of if a wine aunt was a con lady.

Now, they seem like such a cool character!!! I love characters that can shapeshift/change their appearance because 1- It's a very cool ability 2- There's usually that one quality about them that just,, makes them shine? (I'm not sure how to put it into words, but I mean to say they give off an alluring type of vibe)

I love the way you've made them!! Like their personality, backstory and appearance, it all come together well! Also their behavior with other members/characters/people, it all suits them!

Also out of curiosity, can they shapeshift into non-living objects or any other creatures? Or only into fellow humanoid buddies? And is there any criteria to be met or just anyone they see?
