Would probably freak out a bit realizing link probably saw me naked when I pause the game 😨
okay so this might seem kinda like a silly response but I think he'd be more curious than anything
like in their games you can never be naked, even in breath of the wild when you strip he's always got shorts on right? then in twilight princess and skws you can change even less - they've never seen anything like it because it simply doesn't exist within the game
the older games are even more confused because before you they've never even seen a 3d human body, only pixelated ones
but of course, this doesn't happen until they've been aware for a long time since finding a way to see out of the console/emulator takes a good amount of time for them and there's probably a couple hints that they'd be getting to that point if you're able to notice them :P

Febuwhump Day 1 — Helpless
Day one! Just a reminder that I’m sticking to my lu Incredibles au for this, which is more or less a superhero au (if you need more explanation, feel free to ask!). I’m not going to do every day of febuwhump this year, but I’m going to do a bunch! I’m excited to share what I’ve been working on :)
Also me and @thepinklink collaborated on things this year— she’s made some fantastic art to go with the fics! :D
You can see today’s here!
Anyway, here’s some more Hyrule backstory, as suggested by a couple people. Warning for some child abuse (nothing extreme, but it is there) and mentioned past injuries.
Read on ao3
————————————————————
Link clutched his bag to his chest as he crept down the hallway, heart thudding in his ears as he stepped shakily past a door with a faint light shining out from under it.
It didn’t open once he was past though, no voices coming from inside, and Link softly exhaled, continuing on his way.
He made extra care to avoid the boards he knew creaked, even though they were hard to spot with the only source of light being a sliver of uncertain moonlight shining in through a window. He had most of the boards memorized at least, but it was still tricky, and the bit of snow piled on the sill wasn’t helping matters.
Link bit his lip as he stepped past the stairs and the rotten board to the side that nobody had replaced, and squinted through the dark for the door that led to the street outside. It was right over here somewhere, but the faint light from the window didn’t reach this far.
“Where do you think you’re going?!”
Link’s heart shot straight up into his throat as a hand grabbed his arm and yanked him backwards, forcing him to drop the small bag he’d had clutched in his arms. His meager possessions spilled out on the floor, and Link swallowed thickly as he looked up at who’d caught him, a man named Carok.
“Well?” he asked sharply, and Link scrambled for an excuse, his exhausted mind not up to its usual speed.
“I-I was just... I wanted to go outside?” he stuttered.
“In this weather?” Carok snorted, glaring at him. “No... I don’t think so. You know the Eyes of Ganon don’t take kindly to deserters, brat.”
But I’m not deserting! I’m not one of you! You just won’t let me leave! Link wanted to wail, but his throat had grown too tight for him to speak anymore.
“We give you a home, a dry place to sleep, food and shelter and a purpose, and you repay us by running away?” Carok spat, and Link looked down at his dirty boots, trying not to cry. Crying always made it worse. He wouldn’t cry.
Carok glared at him, and dragged Link back down the hallway, ignoring his weak struggles to get away.
He’d been so close.
He’d thought everyone was asleep, and since he’d had to heal that one guy’s hand (his stomach still rolled thinking of it), he assumed they would think he was still too tired to try anything. And admittedly, he was exhausted, but this was the first chance he’d gotten in ages to try and get away.
He’d only been stuck with this group for a few months, but he wanted out.
And he’d completely screwed it up.
Carok opened a door and shoved him inside, and Link’s hands grew clammy as he looked around, realizing he was in the cellar they always locked him in when he’d done something really wrong.
“Boss’ll deal with you tomorrow,” Carok growled as he slammed the door and locked it. “Take some time to think about how grateful you should be that we take care of you.”
Link didn’t bother replying that they hadn’t even remembered to feed him today.
He whimpered as Carok stomped away, and he sat down, tucking his arms around his knees and curling up into a tight ball. He’d try and get out, but he’d been thrown in here enough times to know that it wasn’t possible. No windows, and no doors aside from the one he’d just been shoved through.
Just dark and oppressive, and even colder then where Link usually slept.
He sniffled, allowing the tears he’d been fighting to keep back come out now that he was alone. Pain throbbed out from his arm where he’d been grabbed, and Link lit his palm up just a little, rubbing his hand over the worst of it while tears slipped down his nose.
Bruises were tricky though, and he could only ease the soreness a little. Not to mention they hated when he used his powers on himself, and he was still worn from using his healing so much, so Link only soothed the worst of it before letting his light fade, the darkness falling over the room once more.
Link rested his head on his knees, and closed his eyes, barely able to tell the difference from having them open.
He just wanted to leave. The other places he remembered living had been bad, but this one was millions worse. His old caretakers may have forced him to heal every little scrape and prick of a finger, and gone between ignoring and screaming at him at the drop of a hat, but at least the worst injury he’d ever healed there had been a broken arm.
Here he had to deal with gunshots, and knife wounds, and horribly burnt hands that were nearly blackened from—
Link swallowed thickly, trying not to be sick again. He’d already thrown up once after he’d healed those burns, and didn’t want to smell it all night.
Once he managed to get his stomach to settle, Link thought back to his failed escape, dread chilling his bones at Carok’s parting words. The boss wasn’t forgiving at all, and Link really didn’t want to be in the same room as him when he found out he’d tried to leave. He still had the scar on his back from the last time he’d messed up.
Link wiped his nose, wrapping his hands tighter around his knees.
He was sick of living like this, stuck with people who only wanted his powers, constantly scared of what he’d be forced to do. It made living on the streets look like fun in comparison, and that was saying something.
A sudden exhaustion washed over him, and Link buried his face in his knees.
He hated them. He hated this place, and the people who kept him here. And he so badly wanted to hate his powers that had gotten him trapped here too, but he... he couldn’t.
Despite it all, Link liked having powers. They made him feel special, and fixing injuries always felt right, deep in his chest. It was useful too, even when it wore him out and made him feel dizzy, and Link really did like them. He just... wished they hadn’t gotten him here.
Link looked back at his bruised arm, and something hot burned in his middle as he thought again of escape.
This was only a setback. He wasn’t going to stay here, he was going to get out, and never do anything he didn’t want to ever again! He’d find somewhere where he’d never be cold, or hungry, or hit when he did something wrong, he’d go wherever he wanted!
Link wiped his face with his sleeve, and settled in for a cold night, thoughts already going towards another escape attempt when he got out.
He would get away from here.
And when he did, he’d finally be safe.

Febuwhump Day 5: Human Weapon (Hyrule)
Ao3
CW for vomiting, blood and injury, and references to captivity
-----------------------------------------------
Hyrule runs.
The ground is slick and slippery beneath his feet. Mud splashes up, sullying his boots and trousers. Rain pelts his head, burning his eyes, blurring his vision, sticking his clothing to his skin. It draws at the blood that seeps from his wounds, diluting it, trying to wash it away.
But no sooner has it managed, more bubbles up. It oozes out of him, constant, traitorous. A danger to everyone and everything he has fought so hard to protect.
He slips and falls, sprawling in the chilled mud with a grunt of pain and surprise. He only allows himself a moment to lie there, panting, trying to ignore the scream of his aching body. And then he’s up again, tearing past trees and through shrubbery, ears ringing with the eerie laughter that echoes around him.
“Come here, little hero. We won’t hurt you.”
“Where’s that cursed brat? Doesn’t he know how vital he is to the plan?”
“Hurry! He can’t have gotten far!”
Another burst of paper and magic. They are growing closer. Hyrule pushes his legs to go faster.
His breath comes in ragged half-sobs that scream through his throat. Panic slices at his very soul. The ground itself seems to rise and roll beneath his feet. The sight of it reminds him of the Wind’s Great Sea during a thunderstorm — all furious, churning foam and gray-green waves that leap up to the sky.
The sky still weeps and the trees bend beneath the weight of its grief. It courses into his eyes, turns his hair sopping, runs into his mouth and nose. Even the river is overwhelmed by it. It begins to breach its banks, belching filthy water into Hyrule’s boots.
He stumbles once more, feet flying out behind him, carried by the treacherous tides of the forest. His knees hit the ground and agony streaks up his thigh. He bites down hard on his lip to keep from screaming.
They can’t hear him, they can’t catch him again.
Desperately, Hyrule reaches for his magic, dragging it through his veins. It screeches in agony as it follows his call. There is so much within him, waiting to be let loose, begging to be. It has been building these past days, caged behind a wall he cannot tear down. But all that comes is a strained trickle, hardly enough to heal his wounds.
If anything, the attempt makes matters worse. The cuff on his left wrist sears into his skin, fiery and fierce. Even the rain cannot wash away the scene of burnt flesh.
With a choked cry, he retreats. His power slides from his grasp, as slippery as a serpent and as helpless as a mouse caught in a trap.  Pitching sideways, he retches. Blood and bile splatter into the puddles that he has collapsed into.
More laughter. The sound of it turns his stomach more than any pain.
“I hear you, little hero. You can’t hide forever.”
Come on. Hyrule grits his teeth, rising on trembling limbs. He is so, so tired. But now is not the time to stop.
If his brothers were here, perhaps, he could afford to rest for a moment. They are halfway across Hyrule, however. He cannot even be certain that they’ve noticed his absence yet.
He coughs up another mouthful of blood. Crimson-tinged fingertips slip in the mud. The very environment battles against him. The greenery surrounding him swims and swirls sickeningly. Cackles echo from all sides.
Get up. Fight. Don’t ever let them catch you.
He manages to get his legs beneath him, groaning at the exertion it takes to do so. And then he’s up again, stumbling forward as the soil moves in reverse. He struggles to remain conscious; struggles to stay alert to his surroundings even as they blur into blobs of subdued color.
A sudden burst of red erupts before his eyes. The deadly shink of unsheathed metal pierces his ears.
“Going somewhere?” A Yiga assassin croons.
Hyrule scrambles backward, terror turning his extremities numb. But several more assassins explode into existence. They surround him and close in, windcleavers and vicious sickles gleaming in the eerie grayish-green light.
“I don’t know why you’re running,” one of them hisses, cocking his head. The white of his mask is almost translucent from the torrential downpour. If Hyrule squints, he can see the outline of his features – a large nose, wide eyes, and a mouth framed by thin lips. Human. Natural. But in this moment, they hardly look so.
“Don’t you want to help us?”
Another throws back her head as she laughs. “It’s such a noble thing, isn’t it? To give your life for the Demon King.”
Hyrule sends them all the most severe glare he can muster.
“I won’t,” he grits out and his voice is hardly audible over the thundering rain and his pounding heart. “I won’t let you use me. I won’t…won’t let you bring him back.”
More cackling, cruel and harsh. He hates the sound of it with every bone in his body.
“Oh, little hero – ”
One of the assassins steps closer. Through his mask, Hyrule can see that he is grinning.
“ –  what made you think you have a choice?”
His weapon howls like the wind it commands, as he raises it high above his head. The other Yiga back away, giving room for the blow that will incapacitate the hero once more.
They’ll drag him back once he’s unconscious, no doubt. He won’t even need to wake up for the ritual. All they need, after all, is his blood.
He tries to evade, slipping and sliding in the slop. But the sword comes down faster than he can run. A blast of wind hits him, sharp as a dagger in his ribs. And the world goes upside down.
He hits the ground with a splash, lungs heaving for the breath that has been stolen from them, limbs spread-eagled and oddly shaped. There is a fire in his chest, flames in his veins. His muscles feel as though claws of iron have clamped around them, turning them tight and leaden.
But he tries anyway, to move, to fight. Desperate, he reaches inside and draws at his magic once more.
Please, he begs as it screeches and screams, held back by his bonds, help me.
He only needs one spell to take them all out. Just one.
And still, his magic struggles against him. Still, the cuff sears into him, branding its raised edges into his pale skin.
Cackles swell around him. Shapes bob around, harsh crimson against a blurred backdrop of green. Hands pull him up, as he chokes, blood bubbling from limp lips.
He’s slipping, he realizes, dully, in the part of his mind still capable of thought, and with him, his magic.
They’re going to win. They’re going to bring Ganondorf back from the dead so he can raze Hyrule, so he can bathe the world to darkness.
Hyrule blinks, slowly, lazily.
They can’t win. He won’t…
The world explodes. His eyes drag closed. His magic cries out, gives one last buck, and breaks free from his clawing fingers. Someone screams his name.
And darkness claims him.

Don’t let Rulie near the Master Cycle
…or he will hit a tree.
Wild learned this the hard way.
(a gift for dalemon-99!)
Wild’s Hyrule, like many others, has a Faron Woods. And it’s the perfect place for the Champion and the traveler to take a walk together, away from the rest of the Chain.
Hyrule has taken quite a liking for mushrooms. The reddish ones are called Hylian Shrooms, Wild taught him once, and the green ones Stamina Shrooms. Each time they come across one, he kneels down to examine it, running his fingers along its smooth surface and wondering if it’s edible. It has to be, as Wild eats things like this all the time.
But the Champion seems to have another idea, as he stops at a small clearing and pulls out his Sheikah Slate.
“Do you want to see something cool?” he asks, grinning.
Hyrule’s brow furrows in confusion. What?
“Um…sure. I guess.”
Wild presses a few buttons on the slate, and soon magical blue trails of light circle nearby, not much different from the ones they see upon teleporting at a Sheikah Tower. A strange object materializes next to the two Hylians, with what looks to be two wheels and…
“What is that??” Hyrule exclaims, eyes wide.
The Champion giggles. “This is called the Master Cycle. A piece of Sheikah technology I got from beating the shit out of a monk. As you can see here-“
“Wait, hold on.” Hyrule interrupts. “ You got it from what??”
“Yeah…long story, Rulie. It’s quite amusing, remind me and I’ll tell you later.”
Knowing Wild, the traveler can’t say he’s surprised. But still. Maybe if he finds this…monk and beats him up, he can get one of these things too?
“Anyway, as you can see it has a seat, handlebars for steering, think of it as like an electric horse. It’s a new mode of transport that we call a ‘bike.’ Maybe when we’re done inspecting the shrooms here, I can demonstrate for you?”
“Yeah!!” Hyrule’s heart skips a beat, unable to contain his newfound excitement. A mode of transport? He has never seen anything like this in his life! And a thought burns into him: I wanna try!!
And oh, he wants to try so desperately. But he knows Wild wouldn’t let him.
“Ok, sounds like a plan.” The Champion smiles again before walking up to a group of Hylian Shrooms. Hyrule can barely take his eyes off the Master Cycle in all its glory. It’s as if the bike is speaking to him, asking him to come over and ride it.
Another few minutes pass as they study the clearing, with Wild taking pictures on the slate for Flora, and Hyrule has come up with a different plan. He beams from ear to ear like a young child, positioning himself in front of the Champion and close to the bike.
“Hey, see that mushroom over there?” The traveler points to the green Stamina Shroom at the base of a small tree. “Walk over and grab it, then throw it to me. I wanna try something.”
Wild briefly narrows his eyes. “…Why?”
“Just trust me on this. I’m gonna try to catch it in my mouth.”
“Rulie…” Wild sighs, but pauses when Hyrule widens his eyes like a begging puppy. “Hmph. Fine.”
The Champion turns around to fetch the mushroom. Ok, he’s distracted. Go!
Hyrule locks eyes on the bike and darts over to it, quickly hoisting himself up with legs straddled like he saw Wild do earlier. Shit. How do you start this thing??
“Hey! Rulie, no!”
Wait, yes! The right side! He slams his foot on the small piece of metal underneath it and suddenly the bike is speeding forward. “WOOOO!!” he shouts, fluffy hair whipping in the breeze as the loud whirring noise of the bike overrides whatever the Champion is yelling. Laughing out loud, Hyrule rides in a straight line through the woods, making sure to follow the path. This is AMAZING!!
His grip on the handlebars remains strong. All he needs to do is just keep the bike upright. Easy!
“HAHA! YOU CAN’T CATCH ME, WILD!!” he shrieks. “TRY TO STOP ME!”
He’ll ride all the way out of these woods, maybe through the field and back toward camp. He has the power now, he’s carefree!
…Until a large tree looms in front of him, blocking the path.
Shit!! He doesn’t know how to turn! Oh no. Oh, fuck me.
Hyrule barely has time to think as the tree draws closer; at his current trajectory he will slam right into it. I can stop, right? Just-
Wait.
He also doesn’t know how to stop.
FUCK!!
In a frenzy he jerks the handlebars to the right, hoping the bike will follow. He hasn’t thought this through, but he doesn’t have the time to with the bike still speeding faster than a dragon. Just narrowly missing the tree, he manages to turn the bike…
…smack into another tree.
Hyrule yelps as the bike crashes, and next thing he knows it is…gone?? Shit!! Now without anything to sit on, he is flung forward, crying out in pain as he hits the tree before being tossed to the ground.
He can hear Wild’s shouting coming closer as he lies there, dazed, arm throbbing from taking the brunt of the blow. Somehow he had managed to shield his face, but Hylia, that aches too. Everything hurts.
Okay, that was a BAD idea.
“HYRULE!!”
He turns his head to see the shocked Champion running to his side. “Hyrule! Are you okay?? My god!”
Bad, bad idea.
“Mhm…” he groans, rubbing his forehead. “Where’d it go…?”
“What- oh, it disintegrates whenever you crash. Learned that the hard way once too.”
“So I…broke it?” Oh no. His eyes widen as he glances up at Wild, now standing over him. “I’m so sorry-“
“No, you didn’t break it. That’s what it was made to do,” the Champion explains. “But I digress. Why in Hylia’s name did you want to ride it with no supervision!?”
Hyrule sighs. “I…I thought it would be fun.” With a grunt he pushes himself up to sitting, despite the pain in his arm. “And- it was.”
He smiles weakly at Wild, who still looks less than pleased.
“Oh, Rulie…what am I gonna do with you?” He slowly shakes his head in disbelief. “Here, can you heal yourself? Or I think I have a fairy.”
“It’s okay…I can do it.” If Wild uses his fairy on something as stupid as this…no. He won’t let that happen.
“Well, well.” Wild smirks as the traveler begins to prepare his healing magic. “I can’t wait to see the old man’s reaction when we get back!”
Hyrule gasps. “No, please- don’t tell Time! He would kill me if he finds out-“
“I mean, you’ll still be a bit drained…he might ask why. And so I can deliver.” Wild’s voice is taunting, as the Champion keeps his cheeky smile. The horrified look on Hyrule’s face must be amusing.
“Please…I can’t stand a lecture from the old man,” the traveler whines. “I’ll speak for myself…”
Just like he did before when getting Wild to agree to his little trick, he gazes up at the Champion with his puppy-dog eyes.
“Okay…fine.” Wild luckily gives in. “This can stay between you and me. But you have to promise to never pull a stunt like this again.”
Hyrule huffs. Aw, man. He loves messing around with Wild…but he would rather escape the wrath of the entire Chain and their lecturing. Especially Time.
“Yes, I promise.”
“Good.” Wild gestures to Hyrule’s injured body. “Now heal yourself up, Rulie.”
With a sigh, the traveler closes his eyes as he feels the familiar warm glow of his magic, slowly placing his hands on each of his wounds to close them. Soon the pain fades away and strength returns to his body.

"You know what I hate?" The Champion asked to no one in particular as he watched over the slow boiling pot of stew.
"Uh... Not having enough spices?" The Captain asked from his seat at the table.
Wild gave a nod. "Not what I was going for, but yes."
"Then what do you hate, Champ?" Wars asked while glancing over to the Vet. Legend was currently trying to stack his fork and knife on top of each other to no avail.
"How do I put this?" Wild tapped his chin in thought.
"As bluntly as you can." Hyrule chimed in.
"Fair enough. Why are certain clothes locked to certain people? It's fucking cloth." Wild complained with a laugh.
At first Wars was going to chide Wild for the language, but... He just couldn't. Wild had a point here.
"FINALLY!" Wind's loud voice startled Wars a bit as the Sailor had been awfully quiet in his seat. "Tetra and I both hate that stupid shit. What do you mean I can't wear heels? I'm trying to feel tall, and Tetra hates heels, and so somebody has to wear them."
"Tell me about it." Wild started. "Zelda let me try on one of her old royal dresses, don't ask how they survived a hundred years, and somebody had issues with that."
The Captain just laughed. Damn those social rules indeed. Wild in a dress wasn't something he was expecting to hear about today, but it was something that he could picture.
And the Champion would rock that dress.
"Heh, I've been thinking those rules were stupid since I knew they existed. So, since I was nine." Time joined the conversation. "I didn't even know what the big deal was back then."
"I'd ask how, but I'm afraid the answer would be too confusing." Twilight said.
"Oh, not at all, I was raised by forest spirits and a giant tree." The Old Man nonchalantly explained. "They didn't have concepts like "male" and "female." So imagine my confusion."
A claim that he made often but never elaborated on. Everyone, besides the Captain and Wind, thought it was a lie or a ruse.
Warriors just laughed, he couldn't help it.
"Oh little Mask and his insisting that he's a tree." Wars felt everyone's eyes turn to him.
Time laughed loudly. "You made that corporals life hell."
"I did not have time for that guy's bullshit. We are in the middle of a fucking war, if the kid says he's a tree then he's a fucking tree." Wars started to lose his composure from all of his laughing.
"What do you mean by "he's a tree"?" Sky asked while scratching his head.
"Again, I was raised by forest spirits." Time explain. "You lot, besides two, think this a lie. It's not."
"Time, your life profoundly confuses me." Sky said. "So they assigned you a tree?"
Time nodded.
"Instead of anything else?"
Another nod.
"Not like a boy tree? Just a tree?"
Another nod. "Two trees, to be exact. But yes."
"Two trees?"
"Maple and oak, to be exact."
Wars just watch the conversation with a grin. Oh, poor Sky. He must be feeling the same confusion that he and the Sailor had during the war.
"I feel so understood." Rulie said with the widest smile imaginable. "I'm just a Fae." He shrugged as the others turned to face him. "Not the legend kind of Fae. I was raised by Fairies."
"Well, now you can be a Fae tree. How lovely." Time stated with a laugh.
"What kinda tree?"
"Hmmm, you and the Captain both have the same one. Pine, and you can have maple too. As a treat."
"A Fae pine and maple tree. Nice."
"Are we just gonna brush over the fact that Wars already has a tree identity?" Legend asked.
"I do too!" Wind but in. "Take a guess, it's so obvious."
"Uh...Palm tree?" Twilight asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Correct!"
"What tree am I then?" Wild asked while seasoning a few cuts of meat.
"Willow." Time and Warriors both spoke at the same time.
"Damn, that was fast."
"You had this conversation before, hadn't you?" Sky asked while keeping his gaze locked to Wars. "So tell us our trees."
"Oh, alright, I'll try to remember all the specifics. It's been a while." Time laughed while tapping his fingers on the table.
"It all reminds me of the Minish. They have leaves instead of trees, though." Four, who had been quietly observing this whole time, finally spoke up.
"Oh, the Kokiri had leaves too. That's a whole other thing."

Can I please make it known that I absolutely adore the fae traits you give to Hyrule? That being said, do you have any darker headcanons for Fae!Hyrule (if you don't mind me asking)?
Of course i don’t mind you asking!
tw: mentions of blood and injury, general yandere stuff
Fae Rulie knew upon meeting you his motives.
The others glared and leered from their busying spots around camp, distrustful of your unexpected addition to their travels. Battered and bleeding, you were dropped into his arms. You were handed directly to him, and not for a moment did he consider handing you over when he was asked.
A cold glare met whoever’s hand dared graze your skin, some poor excuse of them tampering with his magic falling from his lips.
It was kind, for his kind.
It was mercy.
Under normal circumstances for his people they would’ve been blinded; such a disrespect placed upon your vision was not tolerated.
Cool magic flowed easily from the pads of his scarred fingers and into the living warmth of your skin. Your wounds had been long healed, your body no longer absorbing his magic. He felt as it circulated through your body, mixing and melding with your blood.
He loved your blood. It was a beautiful and lush shade of red. He’d pray to one day have the taste of it on his lips, memorising and savouring the very thing that keeps you
alive. But make no mistake, he would not let another person so much as spill even a drop of your blood. He’d sooner resurrect every evil of Hyrule before letting harm befall you.
He snapped out of his lovesick stupor, reverent hands cupping your cheeks as he rested your head in his lap. You’d be his. It wasn’t an order or a claim or a suggestion. It was a fact.
It would be.
Whether your mortal flesh desired it or not.

I was actually thinking about this a lot but like as an add on to your humans are hylian space orcs thing. I am in ✨need✨ of reader trying potions. Like;
"This potion will restore your stamina and boost your strength"
"Buddy that's just coffee"
"Qué?"
Even worse if when the reader tries it it's just like the most not strong coffee they've ever drank. Makes the guys wonder wtf makes humans need so much energy through out the day.
this is such a cute idea, i love how diet diffs/energy diffs in humans are space orcs aus, so genius to apply to hylians
Tumblr media
the stamnia boost potion tastes just like instant coffee with powdered creamer (the kind at like car dealerships/shitty offices where its not even a little liquid creamer)
and u spit that shit out like wtf is this bs
and Four, poor guy who gave you some after talking a break from walking, is like "oh my goddess r u allergic?? can still breath???"
meanwhile ur like. "yeah this just tastes like shit-"
four: "oh well yeah, all potions do really-"
you: "-ty coffee. this is nowhere near strong enough to get me back on my feet ffs"
four: " 👁️👄👁️"
you: "u got anything stronger? :/ "
four: " w h a t ? "
cue u researching how to make stamnia potions, across the hyrules, and making them 10x stronger so theyre like an actual coffee shop kind of coffee, and the Links are literally lowkey scared
Time forbids you (and the rest of the guys) from letting anyone else try ur "improved" elixir (s)
bc yes, u didnt stop at stamnia
u moved on to healing potions, (u can now regrow limbs and heal broken bones, the hylians can only take like a 1/16th of a sip like once a week, whereas u chug the whole thing, and can do so multiple times a day if needed)
u also moved onto cooking, bc rlly how different is cooking from alchemy?
and goron spice tasted like goddamn dorito chips, so u used essence of literal lava to help make it more spicy,
ur not allowed to introduce this new spice to the gorons, Wild forbid, bc he was adventurous enough (and snuck behind Time and ur backs) to try some spice
(he literally touched the tip of his pinky finger to it, wiped it off, except for 1 like flake of spice too)
and it lowkey nearly killed him 💀
like had to use that 1/16th of ur extra strong healing potion and everything
u felt so bad, but he did do this to himself,
and Wild knew the gorons dont back down from a challenge, esp since it was originally their recipe, so he (and you) didnt wanna kill them on accident
the sleeping potion u found is just like taking a single melatonin gummy, so u ofc make that thing knock even you out after 2 sips,
needless to say, no one is trying that one, not only bc it knocked Rulie unconcious for 12 hours straight (u got him to try it after he exhausted all his magic healing, and so no nightmares)
but bc it knocked u out cold for 9. that was the scarier part to them lmao, was how affected is their human by this?
i like to think thats how they judge unknown foods and liquids too,
like "do you think this tastes unseasoned? ok should be perfect for me then" - every Link
"oh this didnt make u feel sleepy at all/barely tired? great, id love to knock out cold w/no nightmares tonight" - Sky, probably
"this tastes like that thing you call, instant cough? ko-fee? Cool, give me some i need to run up this mountain" - Wild, for the 3rd time this month probably
"this barely healed ur papercut? sweet, give me some my wrists are killing me" - poor Legend, he uses ur extra strength healing potion as a way to treat his arthritis regularly once a month, but the more chill potions for any leftover aches and pains, esp after long fights being hard on his arms
Chain is simultaneously still lowkey terrified u need that much extra oomf, esp when u run out of stronger stuff and have to down like 5 health potions to heal a cut that needed stitches,
and also worried u need that much and also Wild/Wars/Rulie tend to work overtime to make sure they have extra potions for you
and theyre also kind of impressed, bc hey, youre unlikely to get magically poisoned/potion poisoned like them
sorry i couldnt think of as much as i hoped, i think its bc i rlly just need to play/watch more loz games besides botw/totk
i like know the vague plot of ss/oot/mm/tp/ww/hw and og loz games, but havent gotten into details/lets play or anything yet
i hope this was at least a half decent idea to think about/expand on urs, have a great rest of ur week, and thanks so much for the ask!! <33
Peace out,
🌙

guys. i could say that im very normal abt the update. but that would be a lie. and lying is bad. yeah. im nothing close to normal abt this whole thing im deranged.
theres so many details here.
Tumblr media
Time seems to be more calm, the last update he was at the verge of screaming (to shut them all? to call for help to control all these links? who knows) now he looks very thoughtful, taking in every detail of the whole place to see if he can get some sort of puzzle solved
This question i feel like it has more impact that it looks at first, a lot of people are pointing out the little owl friend we saw at the first doodles of the AU, yeah the owl in oot was a yapper in all rule, but he was some sort of guidance during his journey
Tumblr media
Twilight connects the owls to Shad, a guy who has a lot of knowledge and can help him at any moment if he needs some sort of information, Four remembers the owl that helped the colors during his second adventure, and Legend connects the owls to the statues in Koholint, together with the owl that gave him hints to where he had to go
Here it is made clear the point that i was talking before: Time recognizes that even if, for a kid, it was just an anoying bird, he helped him in some sort of way, and he should appreciated that small detail
Tumblr media
beautiful art there's so many birds here im delighted so happy i've been staring at this for already 6 minutes beautiful
Tumblr media
Owlan! as someone who also has slept during class so many times i dont blame Sky at all
also can we talk about how cool is Owlan's design??? like why i haven't seen anyone commenting abt it???? the yellow feather just makes me thing of the loftwing that we had to chase during the start of sksw, and i love that small detail so much
and Sun!! Finally she got a canon apparition, and of course it is with Sky sleeping during class lol
Tumblr media
going back with what i was saying before, yeah he can thank Kaepora Gaebora all he wants, but man did that bird talk so much
love that expression 10/10 no more notes needed
Tumblr media
EMO RULIE EMO RULI-
putting that joke aside, Hyrule seems to be more careful inside a dungeon, sure he can try and explore all he wants outside, but he knows very well the dangers of a dungeon, and he would like to no take any risk that could put them in danger while he can help it
Tumblr media
I love the continuity of the comic, we all knew these were the same statues as the one that Twi used to separate them from Sky, but seeing it being portrayed in the comic is a detail that i think we all appreciate
Tumblr media
Twilight my guy you cant go and look all that innocent we know your tricks
also Sky still remembers that time, seeing Legend as a bunny will not be easily forgotten. And Legends knows it
it doesn't mean that he likes that little fact
Tumblr media
here i have things to say, it makes sense that the antifairy goes first for Legend, he's like. one of the most magic-based of them. Sure maybe Hyrule is our special wizard guy, but the vet uses a shit ton of magic weapons, he has to have a crazy amount of magic with him adding the rings he has
Also them all ready to defend their vet, yeah it might not be fully dangerous, but they will show no mercy to whatever dares to hurt one of them (a silent promise that they all made with the Twilight situation)
Tumblr media
Time's attention is instantly gained with the mention of a Fairy, he doesn't sees too much of his friends in that thing, and that gives him a bad feeling of why the name
Tumblr media
i could easily do a well thought comment on how he's magical girl material but i think with only that description enough was said
Tumblr media
Only with the thought of one of his fairy friends having such destiny makes Time be disgusted, a Fairy turned into an enemy? Doesn't sound right, it isn't natural and just cruel for the poor fairy
also Wind was ready to catch her, he knows how valuable are fairies during a dungeon, you never know when you will need her help
Tumblr media
Warriors during his adventure he made friends with the fairies, so he obviously will have something for her
he's like a mom who knows her children very well and will carry any treats for them, not beating up the mom/aunt of the group allegations
and Wind give the poor fairy some time before entering the bottle, she must be confused :(
Tumblr media
this last pannel is everything to me, very cool very beautiful i love thsi comic so much
now my fav pannels as usual!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
beautiful art as always every time i see a new update i get surprised by all the details
if you noticed a lot of Four in the last few images shushhh
as always, art credits goes towards @linkeduniverse!

yandere demon king X reader
I really like the idea of a demon king all powerful and all feared by everyone, shows no mercy to anyone but when it involves you he will melt like butter
Yandere demon king who pretended to be a normal farmer boy, conveniently his farm was the one farthest away from all civilization
Yandere demon king who took one look at you and decides your soul will be his, every inch of you will be his
Yandere demon king who had to really restrain his strength or he might ended up injuring you his lovely fiancé
after months of playing pretend living normally by the country side, you one day came home with very very sad news
the demon king has put a curse upon the prince, and you've been nominated to be the sacrificial lamb meant to ward away luck, you'd came home from the town hall crying your eyes out complaining to kaziel as his eyes slowly became dark
yandere demon king who'd soothes you slowly coping you to sleep,he made sure to hug you tightly as you bawled your eyes out,his beautiful little treasure his pretty soul his future spouse
Yandere demon king who softly whispered word of affirmation and confessed his love to you every night as if his life depends on it,stood Infront of a dead body who'd been brutally murdered
it'll be so sad for him to have to leave you behind,it took his subordinates alot of convincing for him to go back to the demon realm, even then the elders had to threaten your safety and he can't have that
he'd came up with a reason giving you a cute little plush toy of him "don't be scared to call my name if you ever need me okay?" He said Caressing your face
yandere demon king who'd be absolutely touch starved after he came home back to you, he'd be very clingy you barely had any room to move around with how much he clings onto you
▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃▃
at night two demons from the demon realm sneaked inside your shared home they wondered why they have been given the job of assasinating a human,a weak human no less for devilssake!their the top assassins!
"you two must've gotten lost" they suddenly heard from behind, turning around they were met with the piercing eyes of their king "YOUR MAJEST-"
"shut up,do you wish to awoken my beloved?!" Kaziel asked, the two assassins quickly quieted down but trembling nonetheless
"now then" a faint glow appeared on kaziels eyes
in the mean while you're sleeping soundly muttering something in the line of foods and mother's
at the break of dawn the shadow guards placed by kaziel around your house all had a twisted look on their face seeing the faith of the two assassins their ruly is truly a cold blooded man
How you didn't see it goes beyond them, but this isn't so bad either,by far the easiest job they've done considering you rarely walk around often opting to read books or let your frustration out on some poor burning woods
slowly you opened your eyes to see a bloody man standing Infront of you....is that?..."kaziel?" You asked eyes still heavy with sleep
"shhh go back to sleep my love" he whispered kissing your forehead suddenly you felt the sudden urge to fall back asleep, well there's no reason to fight the feeling you gladly accepted the sleep with open arms
"six,ten" kaziel called out
two shadow guard appeared behind him kneeling "yes master" they said in unison
"clean this mess for me" he said wiping his hand off with some handkerchiefs before rejoining you in bed

Finished, Peg! ❤️❤️❤️
Please be careful with the merchandise (auction, Hyrule POV) - 3400 words
Warnings same as the original: stabbing, blood mentioned, torture, a bit of dehumanization
Hyrule felt uneasy.
He knew, better than most, what powerful magic in the wrong hands was capable of – trying to keep his cursed blood out of the hands of his era's monsters had repeatedly taught him that – so when the Chain landed in Legend's Hyrule and received Zelda's letter concerning the black market that dealt in rare and dangerous magics, he was more than happy to join Legend in working to root it out.
The uneasiness only increased as the Chain split up to look for information, and he stuck very close to Twilight's side as they wandered the crowded streets. Never comfortable with crowds, he let Twilight do the talking, simply trying to listen and observe while simultaneously trying to quell the itch that something wasn’t right. Shortly after they'd stopped for lunch, they'd found a man – fairly well dressed, with enough jewelry to put Legend to shame – who claimed to have information about the market. He'd asked them to follow him through an alley so they could, “discuss this in a more private location,” but before they could make it to the other side they found themselves closely surrounded by large, heavily-armed men.
Hyrule's senses went haywire, magic gathering at his fingertips, and he felt Twilight bristling beside him. Somehow, the men seemed to draw even closer at the faint glow around his hands.
“You boys look a bit lost,” one of the men sneered, looking directly at Hyrule. “Anything we can help you with?”
Hyrule tried to project confidence, despite how he continued to press close to Twilight's side. “We don’t want any trouble.”
The man's sneer turned to a smirk, and he laughed softly. “Fairies never do.”
Hyrule froze, feeling as if one of Wild's bombs had gone off too close, ice instead of shrapnel in his veins. How did they know?!
The men lunged for him, tearing him from Twilight's side before either hero could react. Twi shouted and tried to get him back, only to collapse in a heap as one of the men clubbed him roughly over the head.
“No! Twi!” Hyrule struggled to free himself, magic sparking frantically, but all he got was a hit to his own head for his trouble, knocking him down to the cold stone of the alleyway. He felt manacles clamp firmly around his wrists, then rough hands lifting him to his feet.
His magic fizzled out as his consciousness wavered. The last thing he heard before fading entirely was from one of the men holding his arms. “He's a strong one. He’ll fetch quite a pretty sum, once we break him a bit.”
-------------
It was very dark when Hyrule finally woke, head aching, though a faint light flickered in the distance. For just a moment, he wondered if he was back in one of the caves in his own era. However, when he moved to rub the ache out of his head, the chains shifting around his wrists brought everything back into sharp, terrifying focus. A chill settled over him like a shroud as he remembered the words spoken by what must have been some of the black market dealers. Somehow, they knew about his fairy blood, and they intended to sell him off, like he was no more than a fancy pot, to be used at will. The imagery of a pot made his stomach flip and his head spin as he recalled they’d mentioned breaking him.
He had to get out of here, wherever here was.
With a burst of energy born of fear, Hyrule tried to get to his feet, only to stumble dizzily back to the ground as his vision turned fuzzy and he tripped over the chain around his ankle. Placing his head between his knees, Hyrule tried to breathe through the wind rushing in his ears.
Once he felt settled again, Hyrule took a moment to take stock of where he was. By the barely visible torchlight he looked around, finding himself inside a small, barred cell, more like a cage than anything. With his ankle chained to a ring in the center of the cage floor, he could reach out and touch all four sides of the cage, and the ceiling looked a little low. Probably would have bumped my head again if I’d managed to stand up. He couldn’t see much besides open hallway to either side, and the mustiness in his nose could have belonged to any dungeon.
With a general idea of his surroundings, dismal as they were, Hyrule turned his attention to himself. The mercenaries appeared to have taken all of his adventuring gear, leaving him with little more than his clothing and his magic. Aside from the bump on his head, he also had several bruises forming on his arms where the mercenaries hadn’t bothered to be gentle when kidnapping him, as well as a few small cuts that were slowly weeping blood. He reached up to heal those out of habit, an ingrained defense after years of being hunted by the monsters of his era. His magic was a little lower than he would have liked in a situation like this, but by no means was it depleted. He still had enough to make an escape attempt.
As Hyrule began to contemplate how he could escape – the Fairy spell uses a lot of magic, but it would certainly get me out of this cage – he heard a door open in the distance, and the torchlight steadily grew brighter.
Weaponless, but not helpless, Hyrule again gathered his magic to his fingertips and rose to his knees as several sets of footsteps drew closer, prepared to cast any spell that might give him a winning chance of escaping alive. When the footsteps stopped outside his cell, however, all thoughts and intents fled his mind.
The well-dressed man with the jewelry they had been following through the alley stood in front of him, mouth leering and eyes bright with greed. The armed guards from the alley stood behind him.
“You!” he gaped, desperately trying to jump-start his brain. “You're-"
“The ringleader of this little operation, yes.” The man's voice oozed, and Hyrule shuddered as the man's greedy eyes looked him over, stopping intently on the places that still showed remnants of his blood. “You certainly made it easier on us, following me into that alley. I honestly thought we’d have to work harder to capture you.”
Hyrule shuddered again, but through the fear and discomfort his mind was starting to move once more. He rallied his magic but didn’t make a move just yet, hoping to gain some insight as to what was going on. “Where am I? Where’s Twilight?!”
“Your friend?” The man waved a bejeweled hand, dismissing the question entirely. “He doesn’t matter. What does matter,” at this, the man's predatory smile grew even wider, “is you, and the magic you possess.”
Hyrule's heart dropped into his boots, his fears confirmed. They knew he was half fairy, they knew about his magic, and they had absolutely every intention of keeping him here until their opportunity to sell him in the black market.
Determination welled within him, his gathered magic begging to be used, but before he could so much as snap his fingers for the Thunder spell a spear was shoved through the bars of the cage, ripping through tunic and flesh alike. A near-silent scream left him as he clutched at his wounded side, offensive magic forgotten. A second and third spear were thrust through the bars in his distraction, one making painful purchase against his upper arm while the other came to rest, gleaming in the torchlight, at his throat.
Pink healing light leaked from Hyrule's fingertips, habit again surfacing as he tried to stem the flow of blood from his wounds. He knew he needed to conserve his magic, but he also needed to stay alive if he was to have any chance at escaping. Through it all, the man watched him intently. Soon enough, he pulled a ring of keys from his pocket, inserting one into the lock as the light of healing magic faded. Hyrule gasped in left-over shock, spear still at his throat.
“Try anything,” the man warned, turning the key in the lock, “and we’ll hunt down the men you were with. A few of them had rather promising magics as well.”
Outrage flared in Hyrule’s heart alongside concern for his brothers. He didn’t want to do as the man asked, wanted to let the Thunder out and escape with magic blazing, but he couldn’t risk his brothers' safety. He remained still as the man crouched in front of him, seething as his bloody tunic and freshly-healed wounds were scrutinized.
“Fascinating,” the man murmured delightedly. “This is powerful magic indeed.” He withdrew just a bit from Hyrule's space, but remained close due to the size of the cage.
A knife appeared in the man's hands, spinning mindlessly as calculating eyes narrowed, clearly weighing options, risks, costs, and statistics. At some unknown signal, the spear was withdrawn from the cage. Hyrule’s small sigh of relief collapsed into a shout of agony as the knife was suddenly thrust into his stomach. The man left it there for a few moments, gauging Hyrule’s reaction, before pulling it out again, blood dripping on the floor between them.
“Do it again,” he commanded as Hyrule curled protectively around the wound. He shook his head frantically, but screamed anew as the knife again found a place inside his body.
“Do. It. Again,” the man demanded, but Hyrule again refused. The man's eyes narrowed in anger. “Potion!” he barked, and a bottle of red potion exchanged hands. The man reached out and forced Hyrule to drink the potion, struggling weakly and trying not to choke.
The moment the bottle was empty, the knife streaked forward again. Faster than Hyrule's dazed mind could track, several cuts bloomed across his arms and torso before the blasted knife again found purchase in his abdomen. The knife was mercilessly twisted as it was removed, and Hyrule collapsed to the floor with a broken cry, shivering weakly, blood dripping though his fingers and staining his tunic, the potion he’d been given effectively made useless.
“Heal yourself.” The man sounded bored, as if he was talking about the weather, not actively torturing a teenager. This time, shaky hands welled with pink magic, rapidly decreasing reserves straining to heal the grievous wounds. By the time he finished, Hyrule knew his magic was dangerously low. He would not have enough to heal himself again, never mind attempt to escape.
The man seemed to realize this as well, for he stood, unconcerned, and locked the cage behind him, leaving Hyrule to his trembling exhaustion and the overwhelming scent of his own blood. He and his goons left without a backwards glance, taking the light with them.
Hyrule was left to the dark and the cold, curling weakly around his still-aching stomach, a plea to the goddesses on his lips. He hoped his brothers found him soon. He wasn’t sure how much more of this he could take.
-------------
Hyrule’s time in the cage – he had no idea how long they kept him there – progressed in distressingly similar fashion. Sometimes it was the man and his knife, others it was a pack of the goons with nothing more than their fists. Every interaction left him bruised and bleeding, ears ringing with the taunts and jeers of the men as they loudly wondered exactly how much they could get for him.
Every attempt to regain a semblance of magic naturally was interrupted and drained by another cut, another beating. They never brought him food, and only twice brought him water. He tried again to refuse to heal himself maybe two days in, only to be force-fed another red potion and stabbed again, and again, and again, until every scrap of magic he possessed was wrung dry and they had to give him a bit of green potion – carefully measured out to be exactly just enough – before he passed out from blood loss.
They left Hyrule alone for a while after that, and he gratefully fell into fitful slumber, too exhausted to dream. He was woken what felt like mere hours later by another beating, and the stubborn hope he’d held onto that his brothers would find him began to wane as he tried to protect his head. Where were they? Wolfie, if he was around, should have been able to find him, right? He knew now that he’d never regain enough magic to escape on his own, so he placed his faith and hope in his brothers, desperate for rescue.
-------------
An indeterminate amount of time and pain later, Hyrule was roused from semi-consciousness by a none-too-gentle boot in his ribs and a key in the lock of the chains around his ankle. He found himself roughly dragged out of the cage and upright, feet stumbling and head spinning at the change in elevation. The mercenaries dragged him up several flights of stairs and into dull moonlight.
For the first time in an age, fresh air graced Hyrule’s nose and lungs, and he sucked it in greedily. Somewhere he found the strength to try and break free, but he only made it a few steps before the mercenaries caught him again. Still, he struggled with everything he possessed, aching for freedom. The men kicked his unsteady legs out from under him, and he crashed to the ground, dazed. One of the biggest men bundled him into a tarp, then picked him up as if he were no more than a misbehaving child.
Hyrule felt himself carried up some steps, then heard the detestable voice of the ringleader – auctioneer, he realized with a jolt – as he was set down on a hard surface, the chain still around his ankle secured tight once again. “A truly one-of-a-kind rarity, our most valuable piece this evening, I give you...” The tarp was ripped away from his body, and he winced at the harsh light suddenly surrounding him, “a half-hylian, half-fairy!”
Murmurs of awe erupted through the crowd of auction-goers as he tried to blink the room into focus. Hoping against hope that his brothers had learned about the auction and were somewhere in the crowd, Hyrule started scanning faces. He felt his heart lift as he saw Sky standing close to the stage, and it absolutely soared when he saw Legend next to him. He fought hard to keep the elation and relief off his face, ears ringing with the single thought whirling through his mind. They’re here. They came!
A horribly familiar pain suddenly ripped through his stomach, and Hyrule though he heard Legend cry out as he curled instinctively around the newest stab wound, weakly trying to keep from bleeding out, not a drop of magic left in his body. The auctioneer let him cringe for a few moments, then thrust a ridiculously small amount of green potion at him. “Now heal,” he said, face calm but voice laced with warning.
Hyrule spat out a now familiar glob of blood, then glared at the auctioneer with every bit of fire, determination, and courage he could muster. He didn’t care that he could feel himself paling from blood loss. He didn’t care that the auctioneer was beginning to anger. His brothers were here, and he would not perform for the sake of the crowd.
The auctioneer drew closer, growling just loud enough for Hyrule to hear. “Heal or I’ll shove a red potion into you and stab you as many times as it takes for you to use your magic. I honestly thought you’d have learned by now.”
Hyrule's determination blazed for a minute or two longer, but at the thought of his brothers watching him be stabbed again, his resolve crumbled. He took the bottle of potion, closing his eyes as he swallowed the single sip.
Pressing his hands back to his wound, he gathered his weak magic to pool in his gut, closing the wound. The magic faded to nothing again as the wound sealed itself shut. Weak from blood loss and exhausted by his ordeal, he slumped forward, barely even twitching as the auctioneer grabbed his tunic and yanked, exposing the bloody but completely healed skin underneath.
“That proof enough?” the auctioneer crowed, and a roar of assent rose from the crowd. A smile bloomed in his voice, “Bidding starts at 30,000 rupees.”
Awareness faded as Hyrule collapsed to the floor, head floating and semi-conscious. He vaguely heard the buzz of numbers being called out, but he couldn’t bring himself to listen. He was just so tired.
One number, or rather, one voice, pierced through the haze of his mind. “60,000 rupees!” Was that…Wind? The white noise of the crowd died immediately.
One voice gasped loudly, dramatically, then a voice declared, “63,000!” Warriors?
The crowd as a whole gasped as Wind and Warriors continued their bidding war. Hyrule suddenly felt something moving near his ankle, twitching the chain around. Confused, he pried his eyes open. “…Four?” he mumbled, disbelieving.
“Hey, traveler. I’ve almost got this chain free, just give me a minute,” Four murmured, fiddling with the lock, eyes seeming an odd mix of blue and red to his hazy vision.
Screams of shock and pain suddenly rang though the crowd, sounding like they originated from the auctioneer and his goons. Four finished with the chain on his ankle and moved to the handcuffs on his wrists as the rest of the crowd erupted in panic, no doubt caused by the rest of his brothers.
Sky was suddenly at Hyrule's side, raising him to a sitting position and brushing his hair out of his face. “Hey ‘rule,” he said gently, eyes ablaze with concern as he took in the leftover cuts and bruises littering Hyrule's body. “We’re getting you out of here, okay?”
Relief and exhaustion fought within him, and it’s was all Hyrule could do to give Sky a weak smile and nod. A small, triumphant noise from Four heralded the release of the cuffs from his wrists, then Hyrule found himself bundled carefully into Sky's warm, safe arms.
Four in the lead, they started to run down the stage, but they found themselves surrounded by mercenaries as the auctioneer shrieked after them. Fighting broke out between the guards and the heroes, and Sky shifted Hyrule to one arm, determination shining clearly from his eyes.
Sky jerked and swayed as he balanced Hyrule in one arm and the Master Sword in the other, taking blows himself to keep Hyrule safe. Through the queasiness fogging his brain, Hyrule saw a sword aimed for Sky's head, and he yelped a warning, Sky ducking just in time.
The move jostled Hyrule even further, and suddenly there was a guard grasping his arm, trying to rip him from the safety of Sky's arms. He and Sky both struggled against the man, until a winged boot entered Hyrule's vision, kicking the guard in the jaw and sending him reeling.
With Legend's arrival, the remaining guards fled, giving the heroes some room to breathe.
“That scum-of-the-earth that stabbed Hyrule escaped,” Legend growled, glancing back at Sky. Hyrule shot him a weak grin at the familiar and so, so welcome ire, and he watched as the vet’s face softened, worry pinching at the corners of his eyes.
“I’m so sorry we didn’t get you sooner.” Legend said, guilt heavy in his voice. “Are you okay?”
Hyrule nodded. “Yeah...” he murmured, exhaustion and relief finally beginning to overwhelm him. “‘been using a lot of magic. Tired.”
Legend nodded, and ruffled his hair. “Probably the blood-loss too. You can sleep all you want once we get out of here, okay?”
Hyrule hummed in contentment and rested his head against Sky's arm, consciousness fading as the heroes rushed from the building.
-------------
Hyrule awoke a short time later as he was gently lowered to the ground, still resting against Sky's side, the other heroes gathering around them. Sky gently helped him sip a red potion until the bruises and cuts he’d sustained had healed some and the fog began to clear from his head. Hyrule took the potion bottle in his own hands and finished it, gratefully accepting the bottle of green potion – a FULL bottle, thank Hylia! – Four handed to him.
Vitality and magic finally rising inside him, Hyrule took Legend at his word, leaning into Sky's lap and quickly falling asleep, surrounded at last by safety and his brothers' care.
