My favorite pictures from today's fan meeting with Checo.

Highligts of the event:

Checo all smiling and happy.

He said he wished he could have had a car that was design to his driving style, but he did the best he could with what he had.

He's finally free, and it shows.

Clearly the whole RBR ambassador thing is not happening, he pretty much avoided talking about the trash team.

He wants to travel, as he hasn't been able to do so (he traveled for work, not the same as just enjoying a place).

He wants to spend time with his family, and he's taking Chequito to his football tournaments (still wanting to make that kid a professional soccer player, uh Checo?).

He is deciding his future until summer.

If he gets invited to an interesting project in F1, he will consider it (he never say he wanted to be in a big F1 team, like other news are reporting, he said INTERESTING!).

Diego Mejia was all of us, looking all in love during the interview.

The best quote: 'It was never Sergio Pérez who came to F1, it was México'.

So no WEC for Checo, he wants to enjoy his new freedom and his family, and we shall wait until July to see what will happen. But the take is he'll be back in 2026 if he has a good proposal (Cadillac!!).

Just want to add he looked so hot and yummi... how I would have liked to be there.

And many people said it was an emotional event, but I'm happy to see him more relaxed, and don't letting the bad press and the betrayal consume him.

my big fear is. a lot of people very hate solas and will want to kill him and a lot of people very love him and want him to not. die. but he's also very scary powerful and it would be hard to create a world state where he both is and is not alive. and i think him always being alive would be hard to write -- like the world just shouldn't have beings that powerful kicking around. people who really hate him would be madder about him always living than people who really love him would be about him always dying.
