Been thinking about how I feel about the whole Poseidon fight and really, while I like how it was I still feel like it just, happened. He got a power up and won after all seemed helpless and it would have been alright if it wasn't for the fact this was Poseidon, a God.
I feel like the main problem is the lenght of the fight. Either 600 strike needed to be a little longer so it doesnt feel like Poseidon just loses as soon as Odysseus fights back or there should have been a song between Get in the water and 600 strike where they manage to fight in equal ground.
Honestly I feel Charybdis lyrics and melody would have worked for that, just moving the actual Charybdis fight to happen during Dangerous. Aso this way that song doesnt end up sandwished between Hermes and Poseidon, otherwise it just kinda exists to fill the quota and make Ody lower his guard.

“Oh if Odysseus didn’t tell his name nothing would’ve happened” “oh if Eurylochus didn’t open the bag everyone would’ve still been alive NO, WRONG, IF EURY DIDNT OPEN THE BAG THEN POSEIDON WOULD’VE ATTACKED ITHICA INSTEAD AND EVEN IF ODYSSEUS DIDNT TELL HIS NAME POLITES WOULD STILL BE DEAD, THE KEY IS THE SHEEP, IF ODYSSEUS WOULDNT HAVE KILLED POLYPHEMOUS’ SHEEP NOTHING WOULD’VE HAPPENED, POLITES WOULD STILL BE ALIVE AND THEY WOULDNT BE HUNT DOWN BY POSEIDON, STOP FORGETTING ABOUT POLITES DEATH

Holy fucking shit!!
I just realised in all the books in the PJO series Percy goes through the same trials as Greek heroes.
Lightning Theif: Perseus, Percy is named after him for one, he defeates Medusa. I don't know much else about Perseus.
Sea of monsters: Odysseus ofc. They're on a ship, Polyphemous the Cyclops, the sirens, Circe's island
Titans Curse: Heracles. For one he holds up the sky, two the Nemian lion the Percy defeats.
Battle of the labyrinth: Theseus. Labyrinth, King Minos. Honestly this one feels the most obvious.
Last Olympian: I am not sure of, my guess is Achilles due to Percy obtaining his curse, but also the war.

The wording and melody of
Maybe you could learn to forgive
Is kinda the same Like when Odysseus speaked to Polyphem
I'm glad We seem eye to eye
And i think He almost made Poseidon Stop His anger. But then Poseidon recognised (or thinks that) He's been played, Like His Son

For saturniids, may I suggest the Tau emperor (Aglia tau)? I've seen it once in the wild and was amazed by its beauty.

What are your thoughts on EPIC: the musical? Is it a good adaptation?
Hello! My opinion is overall positive because. The creator is self-aware and bases his creations on they myths to create something fun, introspective, and fairly accurate. The style is modern US-English, with informal dialogue, and it's not exactly my cup of tea. But that doesn't mean I won't recognize what it does well. In general, it's songs are good and the fandom is mostly fine!
My only pet-peeve is the whole Polyphemous thing, where wounding the Cyclops is meant to be worse than killing him. That's not an ancient Greek sentiment. "Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves" - no, my guy, we are not imperial Japan! 😂 Wounding a god's child was offensive enough. Poseidon got mad just because his son was harmed, not because he should've been killed. I don't know where Jorge picked this up from, but we don't find this sentiment in the ancient Greek epics and myths. Please correct me if I'm wrong but no Greek god ever said "ah, I wish my child was MURDERED instead of losing his eyes" 😂
Also I've seen that in the fandom art Circe often has pointy ears - which is the most Celtic/Anglo thing I've seen. Pointy ears wasn't and isn't a fairy/witch thing in Greek folklore. Ever. It's just weird to see her like this😂 I don't know who drew her like this first and the rest followed.
