#for me it's a definite no#you're not long term until a year minimum#but i keep seeing people refer to bucktommy as long term and im like wait am i the one with the unpopular opinion here#maybe my view is skewed by having only been in a truly long term relationship (8.5 years and counting)#but i feel like you have to at least go through a full year of seasons and holidays and events#before you can be considered long term#i have the same opinion about getting engaged#(to be clear re some of the tags: this isn't about 911 specifically that was just what prompted the thought in my head)#polls

It didn’t have to be for a long time. As long as it was one night away, it can count here.
No geography minimum, a destination in the same country as the one you live in is also good to go (as long as it was different from the city you lived in at the time).

Ok. Real question. How many people Actually have believed in Santa? Bc I never did, mostly bc my dad never bothered with the entire pretense, so the whole concept is just. Really fucking strange to me
Putting an actual poll bc I feel like I'm losing my mind a bit thinking about how apparently widespread it is. Like. It's just so... weird? Why is this the thing people have popularized? It makes no sense.

REALLY IMPORTANT UPDATE PLEASE READ
Hey y’all, so this blog is probably gonna be on a VERY SHORT hiatus. Just like. Literally less than a week.
The short long of it all is that my parents are coming in tonight for the holidays and unfortunately as much as I tired I didn’t have time to queue up enough stuff for that period of time.
The ask box is STAYING OPEN during this period of time! So you CAN keep sending stuff in there just won’t be any polls for a hot second! Holidays are just kinda hectic, you know? Lol

Will you be doing more submission events? Like a Winter holidays or a valentines one?
Yes, there will be more submissions events. I’ve been thinking about the winter holidays one since the Halloween event. It was genuinely so much fun to do and I’ve been looking forward to doing more.
Since Christmas and the first day of Hanukkah fall on the same day this year, my current plan is for the winter holidays submissions to be posted then. Still need to think about how long I want to give everyone to submit though. Hopefully I’ll know by the time it’s December.
All I know for sure is it’s going to be like Halloween, festive fandoms and ice types will be what I’m looking for when that does open up and I’ll be closing event submissions the day before (Christmas Eve) to ensure I can get all the polls ready on time.
