If you read Pilates' teachings, he was very much interested in what we did for ourselves, how we discipline our mind and our body… When we allow ourselves to listen to horrible news, and to accept things that really shouldn't be accepted in our culture and in our lives, that really is pollution to our spirit and to our soul."
