yesssss paulkotho goes so hard...... poor paul does not know whats going on @ first but pokey is sooo into him and will do anything to have him.... including start an entire musical apocalypse in order to get his attention....

these two are so fun because of the clear, Literal, power imbalance, which leaves room for ANGST !! (my favorite) like imagine paul becoming absolutely entranced with pokotho's power similarly to how grace does at the end of npmd? he's just constantly chasing that feeling which probably leads to paul maybe opening himself up to infection...

which i was gonna make a seperate post about this but it kinda fits here so fuck it! but i'll never stop thinking about half infected paul.... pokey literally torturing paul with the thing he hates most in the world... and he's conscious during all of it. so paul has to live out the rest of his days singing and dancing but also he doesn't care because it feels good. he KNOWS he should hate it but he physically can't because of the infection.

Do you think that Paul's "Emma, I'm sorry" at the beginning of Inevitable was just Pokey mocking Emma through the voice of a person she loved? Or was it the last of Paul's individualism genuinely apologising to her because he couldn't save her?

uh … paulkotho and its just Pokey being an utter menace to Paul in his daily life. Better if Pokey shows up with an overload of blue roses and blue shit and Paul is just absolutely done with this blue shit man who wants him to sing.

Thinking about pokey revealing himself to Paul just before he blows up the meteor. Thinking about him manipulating Paul, telling him that if he does it all his “friends” will die and he will die as well and no one would mourn or remember him. Thinking about Pokey telling him that he can make the whole world adore him and worship him because Paul feels that no one has ever truly loved him except Emma who he left to bleed out alone and could be dead by now. Thinking about pokey trying to convince Paul that he can finally make him happy.
