The Limits in the Poker Room

In the poker room, the limit is the amount of money that each player can raise. You can only raise a certain amount of money in a single round of play. Limit poker is the most common form of poker in the United States. However, the margins for error are less forgiving in the limit game than in the no-limit version.

A fixed-limit game is a type of poker where all of the bets are made in fixed increments. The terms "big bet" and "small bet" are often used to describe this type of betting. It can be difficult to learn the rules of implied odds and other concepts in a no-limit game, but a fixed-limit game makes these concepts easier to understand.

Limit poker is typically played with a limit of $2/4 or $4/8. Many poker rooms offer these limits. These limits allow you to make a small bet before the flop and a large bet on the turn or river. This is especially helpful for new players. If you don't have a good hand, you can't lose too much money. There are several poker rooms that offer a no-limit version of Hold'em, Draw, Omaha and Stud.

Traditionally, the betting structures for tournaments are fixed-limit, pot-limit and spread-limit. A no-limit game is usually played in a no-limit format, while a pot-limit game is usually played in a limit or no-limit format. Both of these variations are popular, but it is important to know which one you're playing before you go to a tournament.

Poker rooms often offer gaming promotions and dining specials. They also provide event tickets. Among the most popular games in the world are no-limit hold 'em and Texas hold 'em. No-limit hold 'em is a more exciting game than limit poker, and it's also more common for beginners to try no-limit hold 'em.

Who is the best and who is the worst to sit next to on the plane?

no one could agree who unanimously is the best insisting their seatmate, previous or otherwise, was (ekky→benny, benny→reino, sasha⇆bobby, swaggy→forsy, luosty→mikksy)

i can't tell if i'm just not paying attention or if mouthwashing just doesn't make any sense

#random thoughts #mouthwashing #watching a playthrough and am on the Big Twist so more stuff may happen or whatever #like jimmy raped anya. none of her behavior before this really like clued this in but whatever #doesn't really. add anything to the story so far. could really replace it with anything and the story would still be the same #seems like it's just there to give jimmy a reason to crash the ship #also don't like that he crashed the ship. curly crashing it made him more of a compelling character for me #like it's established he gives the same answers every time in the mental health check ups #make him like. succumb to the pressures of the job. instead of just being kind of a shitty normal boss #and like. anya doesn't want to give jimmy his check up and be alone with him while he makes up sexually deviant lies. could be foreshadowing #but she asks him to give curly his medicine. she doesn't seem to OBJECT to him becoming captain.#she was also a lot more compelling when it seemed like she was struggling due to the pressures of the job #i like swansea. reminds me of uncle billy from the outcasts of poker flat #his final where's johnny moment is kind of out of nowhere. is it because jimmy has the gun?#i doubt it's about the rape. did jimmy do something else? did swansea find out he crashed the ship?#i wish i didn't get to see curly's face before the crash. like give me some room to ponder dude #daisuke and swansea's dynamic is really fun! especially in the pre-crash scenes #my main problem with anya is she didn't have any single character to play off of. daisuke had swansea. curly had jimmy.#she's just kind of there. and miserable. and sucks at her job #also why is curly still alive??? like she killed herself in front of him but didn't take him out? tf anya #there's like 30 mins left so idk maybe some of my complaints will be rectificed. or maybe mouthwashing just isn't for me #literally my main complaint is the rape subplot so if they do something interesting with that then we're golden

tired of people who want pjo movie references in the disney+ show. "logan lerman should've been-" i don’t care. "poker face in the casino-" actually i hope ms. gaga keeps her entire discography miles away from it. i don't care move on

#peace and love🫶#this isn't even to say I didn't like those parts of the movies or that I can't see the appeal in having references in the show #I'm just tired of HEARING about it oh my god #the pjo movies are getting all of the loving looking back they could need #just in the fact that people's opinions of them are clearly shifting #like people look back on them more fondly now they were VERY bad adaptations but fun movies overall with some good scenes #I think the shift in public opinion is also due to the d+ show btw I think the fact we have a good adaptation now #means people no longer feel the need to spend energy publicly and viscerally disavowing the movies anymore #but we still don't really need references to it!! especially when it's shit you're so clearly not getting I'm sorry #they're not putting logan lerman anywhere in there you know this look inside yourself #and they're DEFINITELY not putting poker face in the lotus hotel scene COME ON NOW THAT WOULD JUST BE STUPID #the lotus hotel scene is already going to undeniably get compared to the pjo movie version #and they. kind of have a lot to beat. the lotus hotel scene was so much fun #there's already going to be a bunch of “which was better?” discourse about it #using poker face would honestly probably not help. also then it's not gonna be a fun scene in it's own right #it's gonna be a fun and good scene to people just cause it references some bad movies #anyway I hope they pick a different song I saw some people say hotel room-#pjo #pjo tv #pjo disney+
