I remember seeing this weird lion sprite the day the leak happened and seeing people theorize it was a proto Manectric. But today, I saw the idea that it was a scrapped Manectric evo due to it being placed right next to Manectric when placed in creation order. I really liked that idea, so I made my imagining of this scrapped second evo had it been kept and refined instead of scrapped.

I didn't want Manectric's yellow head of fur to just vanish so I turned the teal from the scrapped 'mon into the yellow from Manectric's sprite. I also brought over the beige fur from Manectric's artwork legs. I would've made the whole back legs that beige color but it looked too crowded. I have no clue what that beta sprite's tail is doing so I made a continuation of Manectric's tail instead.

Honestly, looks more like an Electrike evo like I originally saw being theorized. I also like this one too but my main issues with it is that the additions from Manectric just aren't here. Which, again, would make sense if this was an Electrike evo they considered after making Manectric instead of a lost third member of the line.

I wouldn't mind either design returning as a split evo or a second evo though. I like both versions. At least with the scrapped 'mon the name "Manectric" makes sense.
