taking another go at making a verse for some pokemon OCs, three roommates and best friends - we got Pangur, a theater nerd who works downtown at the local theatre as part of their tech crew, then Sunny, a college linguistics student who loves streaming as a hobby, and finally Mango, a bartender and competitive surfer during the summer!!! They're all super close and would do anything for each other but equally like messing with each other lol

I had a really really intense dream last night where emmet was basically assaulted and then reverse-adopted by these two fuckers.

So. Meet Ethan and Weslie. They swapped pronouns and have to be kept five feet apart at all times. The Giratina instinct is real and they embody this. Unfortunately they also do almost everything together.

This culminated in an incident that involved a kitchen knife, a ranger’s stolen dagger, and three hospitalizations.

Anyways!

They’re horrible feral children and weslie somehow got a poison eveelution. Don’t ask him, he genuinely thought she was a shiny Espeon.

They self-appointed themselves as junior subway battlers, complete with their own outfits (hats not pictured because I wanted to show their horrible hair. They both have the haori I just stole Ethan’s.)

They are the banes of emmet’s existence for the longest time, until they actually straight out kidnap him to bring them on a Pokémon Journey™️.

Emmet does not enjoy this. He preferred being harassed by them every other day and being given dubiously-nutritious food.

Emmet also believes elesa will kill him for letting them wear their hats with the rest of the outfit.

Ingo, meanwhile, is doing… about the same, just with more bodily harm from Pokémon instead of his own set of feral twins.

This was actually sketched and partially outlined back in…2022? I guess I just lost motivation to keep working on it until recently ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Also I’ve become a little self conscious drawing myself. 💀

Anyway, this isn’t Lúcio’s final design. I’ve since decided to try and make my Pokémon look a bit more unique, whether it be tiny design changes from their usual look and/or giving them accessories.

Since Lúcio’s Sword counterpart has them, I was thinking of giving him a pair of Safety Goggles. That is if I can figure out how to work them around his big, cute ears and floofy cheek tufts. 🤔
