hi everyone. 

this might come as no surprise to some since i’ve been on hiatus for awhile, but i’m officially closing this love-dreams. thank you for all your support in my writing journey. 

recently, i just haven’t been able to keep up my interest in kpop and it’s slowly dwindling down. this doesn’t mean i’ll stop writing, just that it won’t be for the kpop fandom. i’d like to add on that my decision to close this blog has nothing to do with mingyu’s situation, but i will consider taking down my mingyu writing because of it. 

i do have a few wips left that i might consider writing, but beyond that i will not be writing anymore fics on this blog. 

i remember when i first hit 100 followers and now i’m closer to hitting 300!! i’m so grateful. i still get giddy when i get notes on my fics and my love for writing will never diminish. this is why i’ve decided to move my writing to @lovesfantasies, which is my anime blog. i’ll be a lot more active on there than on here. 

thank you all again :) i’m so grateful for all of y’all.

his hands were warm, weaving deep into your hair and holding your head close to his chest. you could hear his heartbeat through his thin sleep shirt. through the layers of muscles and skin...

“jihoon,” you sniffled.

the hand rubbing against your skull paused for a beat before resuming. his dry lips pressed against your forehead. 

“go to sleep, y/n. you’ve had a rough day,” he murmured. 

you nodded, trying to squirm away to look at your boyfriend’s face. his strong arms reluctantly relinquished their hold on you. 

“y/n?” he asked, puzzled. 

“i was just wondering...” you lifted your hands to your chest, clasping them together. “can you... can you tell me you love me?” 

jihoon stayed quiet for a moment and in the dark, you took his hesitation as reluctance. 

“ah, don’t worry about it actually! you’re right haha, i should definitely get to-”

“come here.”

his gruff voice contrasted the gentle pull of his arms. you melted against jihoon’s warm body. 

“i love you, y/n. i love the way you laugh when you tell jokes, i love how your eyes shine when you’re curious, i love the way you present yourself to others.” jihoon took a breath as your heart stuttered. 

“but above all, i love the person i become when i’m around you.”
