do butterflies feel love?

what will happen when i find myself again?

i’ve been lost for quite a while.

i’m in pain.

i’ve been trapped.

i’ve gone insane.

i found you.

will they treat me differently than before?

when i emerge out of my cocoon, will they still treat me like the caterpillar i used to be?

will my butterfly wings be pretty enough for them?

or will my rage be too much?

i wonder who i’ll be.

someone better.

someone worse?

someone i like.

someone who can love.
