As it's the day of Phineas and Ferb's 16th anniversary, it may be quite the right time to share this thing I did recently. Which is really just modifying an already existing backpack (changed some parts' color to black and sew on the yellow and black stripes), but on this occasion I just wanted to say how both Phineas and Ferb and Milo Murphy's Law are so important to me and I'm super grateful to the people who worked on them, actors, Dan, and Swampy, for all the things they do for us fans outside of the show itself, and just being good humans we can look up to❤️

Started drawing again after years of being inactive (curse you life for ruining my enjoyment of hobbies!) Figured since it was the PnF anniversary today I'd start by drawing a few of my favorite characters! I'm gonna play around with drawing them in my own style later; but for now I tried to stay more-or-less on model. (I gave up on perry and just hid his face with his hat. You do not want to see how many sketches I have where his face looks so very off!)

We’re Getting The Band Back Together is probably my favorite episode of PNF because it’s like. Lawrence is flipping thru a phonebook to find someone to call and the kids are googling the band on the family computer. One of the guys in said band is a hairdresser who gives everyone the exact same hairstyle and they love it. It’s where the iconic “not yet, Ferb” comes from. There’s a montage of Doof and Perry setting up Vanessa’s birthday party. It goes unsaid but it’s the anniversary of the band’s farewell concert so you know the old hurt feelings were on their mind anyway, and Phineas and Ferb talk their way right through it. All of the songs slap. Candace having to distract her mom on purpose this time and sticking her mom’s whole head in a hair dryer about it. Vanessa thanking Perry cause she knows he ruined her dad’s evil plan but saved her party on purpose. There’s a mini dance party during the credits. It’s timeless but also so 2008.

Tess and I are rewatching Emirichu’s anime cafe vids, and now I wanna imagine what a BCG and TGaMM collab cafe would look like.

With BCG, I could see it being focused on hardy ‘country-style’ meals. Lots of veggies, probably a good pork chop or a couple different burger dishes to represent Cricket and/or Bill.

You could also theme one dish after Gramma and make it extra spicy to match her attitude ^v^ Remy, meanwhile, could get like a super ‘fancy��� dish. I could see Chip being represented by either a bitter drink or a tomato-focused dish, meanwhile you could theme the desserts and cafe drinks after Gloria and Tilly.

For TGaMM, on the other hand, while you’d obviously want to include some specific dishes from the show - tacos/churros/strawberry pop for Scratch, to name one, plus at least one Thai dish. You could also include a mini version of the Pete and Sharon passion fruit anniversary cake.

But given that TGaMM is heavily themed around friendship and relationships, you could also do a lot of fun fusion dishes to represent pairs like Molly and Ollie, Molly and Scratch, Libby and Molly, the Jeoffs, etc.

Honestly, with all the iconic Disney cartoons there are these days + classics that people still love like PnF and Gravity Falls, Ducktales, etc., I’m actually kinda surprised that Disney doesn’t have a cafe with a rotating theme at one of their theme parks. Seems like an amazing idea, albeit one that would admittedly take a lot of brainstorming for different themed dishes every few months.
