More F/F and NB/F ships in Baldur's Gate 3 plz ty. More Shadowheart fic in general. More trans women in fic. I'm doing my best when I can, and I've got a few mutuals fighting the good fight as well, but we're fighting against a vampiric tide.

U. Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.

Shadowheart is cheating, so we can just assume she's looming over this list lmao. Some of these are "fandoms" in a loose sense lol.

Tavore Paran from Steven Erikson's Malazan series of books. This is the definition of a "grower" character. She is cold, demands a lot of her people, and the events of the books require her to be even colder and more distant from literally everyone except for her lover. She's one of the few lesbian characters in that series that I can think of off the top of my head. Her arc in the final few books is so good it makes me want to chew glass. That scene at the very, very end? Genuine tears. The only thing that moved me like that in Malazan was Beak.

Lupe dy Cazaril from Lois McMaster Bujold's Chalion series of books. He is genuinely one of the capital-K Kindest characters I've ever read in fiction. A broken man who returns from wartime slavery to find purpose in his life, being a genuine and warm person to everyone he meets that deserves it. A really satisfying character arc, and he's not really much of a fighter when we meet him which is always a great fantasy character pivot for a male protagonist.

April Ludgate from Parks and Recreation. She's sarcastic as fuck, a pretty full and fairly well-rounded character for a TV comedy, and extremely weird. I have like 800k words about her on AO3 lmao. Tons of thoughts about her that literally fill multiple books.

If you're gonna ship a subzero with hanzo. Bi-han subzero makes more sense.

And i ship kuai liang subzero with tomas and bi-han with sareena (and self ship with either on occasion)

Either way the point is. Y'all be going about these characters and their dynamics so wrong. And i feel people just want different characters than what is actually happening. Like go make an oc at that point. It's different when they dont have certain dynamics shown and aspects. (Most mk villains dont because they are treated majority of the time as guys to beat up. So they aren't like sub and scorp. Which is shown.....everywhere,all the time,and takes up a majority of the plot. So we know all there is about yellow n blue ninja clans. Even then it doesn't go into that much detail but still we get more insight with them than any other character. Even liu kang and kung lao don't have as much as the two posterboys of mk. Which sucks)

Shipping aside. It sucks that both subzeros(kuai and bi-han) and scorpion(hanzo) get so grossly misinterpreted by fans. And think that everything is hunky dory peaches and roses. When it really isn't. While neither clan after a certain point is warring or fighting each other. There still is tension. Simply because of years,decades even of the mess left behind. Hanzo has to rebuild from the ground up. And kuai has to repair and restore the lin kuei to what it used to be but better and more equal. And less....robotic. lol. There was still a lot of work. Not to mention if noob became bi-han subzero again,somehow. That would add even more awkward tension(good storytelling tho) because bi-han while maybe he could forgive hanzo,he could never be friends truly. And if you guys ship kuai and hanzo. I dont think kuai would feel comfortable with having his only damn brother he's worked so hard to bring back and rekindle his family with just so he cpuld get some dick. Im sorry,relationships dont work that way. Hanzo and kaui are family oriented,and if one or more of parties involved are not on equal playing field or cares for the other. It's a no go.

What im trying to say is the dynamic is not healthy,long lasting,or even worth it. There is not any good chemistry.

Until bi-han and hanzo in canon make amends. Only then could you MAYBE. JUST MAYBE. Make that work.

But again shipping aside.

Tomas/smoke and kuai liang subzero. Works better. Because they not only like i said are from the same clan,grew up together. Bi-han more likely than not. Would understand tomas and actually be pretty cool with him.

Okay so as a former yoonminer, what you said was absolute bullshit. I shipped yoonmin for years but I never found any appeal in taekook, they were always just cute and too platonic for me. Jimin was always my bias and then later I double biased yoongi and jimin but no one was like jimin for me.

I believe that taekookers liked to ship yoonmin because of convenience and that it would separate jimin from their ship. Now the fuckers are throwing hate at him and shipping him at the same time. I hate taekookers with a passion wow.

Yoongi actually has the softest spot for jimin, he never belittled him or disrespected him. I think you don't have any friends anon, or have trouble with your friends all the time if you think yoongi's comments ever came from a malicious place. That piano moment was just jimin playing around, he wasn't seriously trying to play or anything. If yoongi teased jimin too much, jimin teased him right back, they like to bicker, it's their brand. If we're talking about insensitive comments, i think that famous jk looks ranking was way more insensitive, but i still never judged jk by it because he was obviously being a little tease and he was SO YOUNG OKAY.

Yoongi was pretty harsh towards some other members though lol. He was pretty harsh with tae for some time, because he said he couldn't connect with him.

anon what a tantalizing question! I feel like i'm usually very particular in that I think every universe's Steve is best suited to his universe's Tony and vice versa, but let's see if I can't stretch my imagination for this ask

The Memory of Timely's deceased former Sheriff Steve Rogers (1872): okay this is a copout, I know, but! the Sheriff's death is literally what spurred Tony to stop drinking and start inventing things as a force for good in the town's fight against Fisk and his men! His death was the catalyst for Tony to become Iron Man!! The spirit of Steve's courage and tenacity lives on in Tony!! Plus, I kind of love the idea of Tony as a western widower with nothing but the slowly fading memory of his love to keep him warm during those cold desert nights for the rest of his lonely, sober, cowboy life.

Survivalist Daddy Steve (Dark Ages): gets to stand to the side and proudly watch 1872!cowboy Tony revolutionize electricity. I can also imagine this Steve getting a new western-themed shawl were he to end up in Timely, which would be fun and also? cute. And cue mutual bathing sequence where Dark Ages!Steve and 1872!Tony go down to the river and sensually wash each other's hair until Tony can't stand the tension between them any longer and grips onto Steve's beard to kiss him like his life depends on it. Plus I bet Dark Ages!Steve would look hot as hell riding a horse (among other things...)

Brickhouse Steve (EMH): seems like he's got a commanding sort of git 'er done attitude that would probably work well in Timely. I also feel like his repressed demeanor would play well with the way Tony presents himself as having an outwardly devil-may-care attitude while being extremely traumatized and lonely on the inside. I think EMH!Steve would touch 1872!Tony gently.

Shared Trauma Steve (MCU): what it says on the tin. lots of kissing each other's tears away. these two do Proxy Sex as a Form of Grieving like there's an Olympic medal for it, and brother, they're taking home the gold.

Universal Husband Steve (AA): i mean, this one is kind of a freebie. Pretty sure you could introduce AA!Steve to brain jar!Tony and he'd still be swooning.

Soooo I actually don’t dabble with romance *dives behind a couch.* It’s never been my jam. My jelly tho? That would be the interactions between characters and exploring how deep their bonds go! The words “best friend” send me to another world <3

1 ~ Zack Fair & Sephiroth (FF7) If you know me, even just the most microscopic tad, then you prolly know these two have organized the Louisiana Purchase on my heart. They are BEANS! I love them SO MUCH!!!! Adorable polarity aside, I’m just absolutely infatuated with the story these two share. I will always imagine their mutual tie to Angeal being what draws them together, able to empathize with each other’s grief in a way nobody else can. They need each other: Zack needs someone to look after him, protecting his enthusiasm, and Seph needs someone to mend his trust… and make him smile <3 <3 They become inseparable, all that bitterness Banora and Modeoheim stirred faded into nothingness. Come Nibelheim, and those books and mumsy have nothing on these two. Sephiroth already has too much to cherish to throw it all away <3 Poor mumsy. Can’t brainwash someone who’s gotta pupper who loves him more than you :3c

2 ~ Hiccup & Toothless (HTTYD) There is NO animal-human friendship that beats this one. Nope, nope! Sorry! Vetoing that thought (pssst your opinions are wonderful and valid). I think what makes these two SO powerful to me is that Toothless is never treated as a pet; he is Hiccup’s bestest friend and they are equals. They love each other to death and would do anything to protect the other <3 Seeing their bond evolve and the parallels unfolding between them is magical. I don’t think there will ever be a scene that tops Hiccup and Toothless walking towards the door, Toothless with his prosthetic tail and Hiccup mirroring that with his leg. It is godly <3 (I’m also always using these two as springboards for my writing. Small details like Zack always referring to Seph as “bud” are plucked right from here!)

3 ~ Mikey & Leatherhead (TMNT) Their friendship begins with Mikey spoon-feeding soup to the adorable, scaly bean, who’s plopped right on his bottom. The frequency of the SQUEAL I made. This is just one of the healthiest, most wholesome friendships to ever exist and I will love them forever!!! Mikey has unwavering trust in him from the moment they meet, helps him gain control of his rage, and offers his teddy bear for emotional support <3 Nothing but not judging a book by its cover and earning a true blue buddy as a result.

First (friend)ship: Hmmm… ig any two smash bros characters I visualized having a movie night lmao! l got my hands on a controller when I was 4. The first character dynamic I fell in love with tho was prolly Ash & Pikachu!

Be proud of me: I actually remembered the midpoint reaction!  Woot woot!

I continue to enjoy the show…  Not a fixation-worthy enjoyment yet, but I like it.  Abby and Tony are still head-and-shoulders above the rest; then Ducky.  Kate kinda annoys me, and, tbh, so does Gibbs.  Writing has been decent --- yards better than CSI, which I regret knowing --- and acting's been decent (as far as I noticed)... Plotlines haven't been bad.  Again, there's some iffy writing in terms of the actual cases --- I'm looking at you, parachute-death-last-episode --- but I haven't noticed any quite yet this episode.

Tony continues to be picked on more than is deserved.  (You know, I might be fine with this if it were more evenly shared, but --- like with Alec in Dark Angel --- it's mainly just reserved for Tony.  Maybe even more so, since there was at least Sketchy to share the picking-on in DA, but there's no one else here.  [Once McGee is on it’s kind of a someone picks on Tony Tony picks on McGee situation]  See, now that’s not bad!  At least it's-  I legit almost wrote consensual, but I *meant* mutual.  Although, technically, ig, it’s both.  [And it’s hilarious because once Ziva comes on McGee tries to do the same to her but she’s just like no]  Oh nooooo.  Guess I’ll see that when it happens.  Love triangle, perhaps?  I kid, I kid.  Unless…?

Aside from the probably-excessive number of terrorist attacks — literally, I’ve seen three episodes, and this is the second one with a terrorist connection — I’m still enjoying it!  Tbh, my opinion hasn’t much changed from the midpoint, so I don’t know what to add… I would say that the episode kinda… spiraled?  Like, we were still on drug-running as of after halfway through the episode, and it suddenly became a 24 episode?  Then somehow got resolved really quickly?  But, pacing issues aside, it wasn’t bad!  And that’s basically the only opinion shift from halfway through, so.  There ya go!

I would kindly like to have some Ship Name ideas for OsirisXIsis and SetXNephthys plz. If you at least have any ideas on what Ship Names for Osiris and Set's pairings should be called.

To be really fair anon I have no idea, not only I do not see ships from myths and legends as ships per say but something that just happens, I am no expert in ship name and also Isis X Osiris isn't my favorite couple and I actually don't see see Set X Nephthys loving each other but more or less forced and cheating on each other mutually. Hmmm I suppose maybe... Isiris and Setphys ?

Hobie Brown/Spiderpunk self ship asks

I tried to make some self ship hcs n answer some ask game stuff.

Hobie is a new f/o so bear with me. I'm still working on things in the writing. And i haven't done any spiderman stuff in a while. I only know so much of him particularly. But from what i could gather and what mutuals told me. I think i got him down decently. Also he reminds me hella of my irl s/o. So theres that too.

I also just don't want people to come at me or be toxic or unnecessarily mean. I already dealt with that before with marvel fans. I dont wanna go thru that again.

And what's sexier and more fucking radical than being yourself?" 💕 either that or he'll say "stop bein hard on yaself. Or do i have to get out that sunshine meself?" 7. Rap — What do you and your f/o do together that makes y'all happy/excited?: honestly i do love the nights he can take me out swinging with him. It helped me get over my fear of heights.

Enjoying each others company. Like nothing else mattered. For a small short moment. He didn't have to worry. And neither did i. Those moments are brief,but worth it every time we can get it. 6. Moose Tracks- What does a typical night in look like for you two?: well after a night patrol,he'll come into the loft. Usually thru the ceiling window or thru the side door 2nd exit near the pantry in the kitchen. But rarely he'll use the front door. If he does....some bad or really really good news is probably gonna be put down. He'll climb into bed and snuggle next to me. Sometimes he'll take off his spiderduds but sometimes not. Sometimes he'll straight up crash. Day patrols are done in shifts. And not always guaranteed to stay during any lunch dates we have. But thats the part of being a spiderpunks ol lady i guess. Lol. But the special nights,days,or moments. We'll take a whole day to ourselves. And if any other spidermen are in the area. He'll give them a heads up first. To take this one.

Well....for the most part. The spooder identity kinda stays hidden but for good reason. But as for how he acts with me? Not really much difference. Outside of normal hero biz. He's same ol hobie 💖 tho he masks(i hc all spooders are neurodivernt. You can not convince me otherwise!)

I know it sounds cliche but he does like fish n chips. But he makes it extra special for me as i like it extra crispy. I like to make breakfast for him. He does drink both coffee and tea but he likes black tea for mornings and oolong for nighttime to chill n vibe. Baking is a chaotic mess but worth it.
