Thoughts on having a trine in a composite chart with our moon (Taurus 7H), Pluto (Scorpio 1H), and Saturn (Aquarius 4H)?

Hi! So this would actually be a t-square rather than a trine. Disregarding degrees trines typically occur between the same element while squares occur between modalities.

A Taurus moon (7th house) opposes a Scorpio Pluto (1st house). The relationship’s easygoing comforting nature to unite experiences some strife from the ever-changing destructive identity of the relationship. The relationship itself may seem to change and breakdown a lot while reflecting any trauma onto the individuals for higher growth. The moon is a nice opposition in the 7th house but also challenging. There is a want to comfort and support one another but it can be hard to balance.

The Saturn in the Aquarius 4th house adds further strife onto this aspect as a square. It stabilizes this effect to really require that growth and need to balance comfort and chaos. It won’t be easy. But it doesn’t mean it’s an impossible challenge. May be a bit hard to feel relaxed and cozy although there is a desire to bring that energy out for each other.

Disclaimer, these are observations I have made through personal experience and thorough research, observations also vary depending on other natal placements involved

♅ Pluto in the 10th house has a tendency to come across as very overbearing in the workplace. This is having a routinely structure you want to have done precisely every day, so this makes you ask your coworker if they want you to do the coffee run for a meeting, staying past closing time to make sure everything is in place, doing 10x as much work as your coworkers because you like things in a certain order.

it also causes coworkers to think of you as someone who’s willing to step over them in order to appear as this solid leader who is better than them ( and often times this does manifest in the native) but mostly it is subconscious.

It honestly reminds of the devil wears Prada where Andrea gets so good at guessing what Miranda’s expectations are that she goes over the top in order to please her and it gets to the point she manages to snag the trip to Paris that has always been given to Emily in the singular year she’s worked at the magazine. ♅ There’s a natural discomfort when one has the Moon placed in the first house, especially if placed in signs like Aquarius or Capricorn due to the fact that their emotions are put on display which is a forced vulnerability. 

I actually find fire placements (not typically Sagittarius) who actually find enjoyment in their faces being easily read? One because fire placements are less inclined to hide their feelings, and two because they can be a bit impatient to get their point across 

♅ Virgo placements are kinda funny in the sense that they’re not necessarily clean freaks, they won’t go out of their way to clean someone’s room because it’s dirty, but they are obviously very precise with their own mess, they don’t like being messy themselves you know? I actually find they overthink their actions. You can remind a person with mars in the 12th house to take out the trash before bed because the garbage collectors come tomorrow and they will spend the whole day cleaning the house, drain their energy and say “I’ll just wake up early and do it tomorrow” but they never do 😭 They confuse themselves!! 

it’s also interesting to note a person with a 12th house prominence that includes mars will be defensive about their said actions. “Take out the trash” “I was already planning on doing it but now I don’t want to”. ♅ People with their 4th house ruler in the 7th house will have emotional withdrawals if their routine does not involve socializing with others. You’ll typically see this in people who choose to search for roommates during college, move in with close friends to “save on rent” or choose to never move out of their parents home ( I support this in this economy lol)

♅ Mercury square saturn people need precise instructions whenever they do something. Mercury can be very sporadic in square aspects because their communication is being misconstrued the same way a radios antennae need to be arranged in a certain way  in order to get signal. With Saturn representing structure, they prefer very detailed instructions on pretty much anything. You need them to get a wrench? It’s on the left? Top, middle, or bottom? And what color is it? ☀️ The stereotype is they all have big hair. However, I’ve noticed this isn’t true. Their hair is a source of pride but they don’t always naturally have thick and big hair.

☀️ They take good care of themselves physically. Self expression through clothes, makeup, hair, etc. They don’t want to appear as a slob or lazy. Due to the work they put into their appearance, they love compliments & praise.

☀️ One thing I’ve noticed is the women often dye their hair. But unlike their fellow fire sign sag, they aren’t as impulsive about it. The leo risings I know all stick to natural colours when they dye their hair (brown, blonde, black, red).

Mercury in the 8th house: naturally good at reading people, interested in psychology, religion, spirituality, astrology. chronic over thinkers + intrusive thoughts galore. could either really enjoy giving/ receiving head and/or dirty talk, reading smut.

Pisces Mars: sweethearts on the surface, usually soft-spoken or doesn’t talk much, spends more time observing or making up scenarios. also another overthinking placement. could also be someone who does drugs/ drinks alcohol. excels in the entertainment industries (film, theatre, music, art etc). either have a piss kink, foot fetish, or demisexual. 

Scorpio Venus: intense lovers. my ex had this placement and told me he’d die for me only knowing me 3 months. my sister also has this placement and will not eat dinner without her husband (could be the taurus opposition = not eating (taurus) until lover (Venus) is around), I think it’s a symbol of loyalty. once this placement finds value in someone, they are ride or die type loyal until you betray them. may stay in relationships longer than they should because it’s fixed emotion unless they finally see it themselves.

Cancer Moon (men specifically): I've had 3 cancer moon men take me to the beach on our first date. they’re always gassing themselves up on their cooking skills. their moms can be really restricting, especially those with Saturn in cancer as well. I've also seen their moms be really detached, cold, basically telling them to fend for themselves. highly intuitive but may get too caught up in the potential of a situation/ person and being disappointed when reality is different. hopeless romantics fr just throwing themselves into anyone they have a good feeling about without the physical proof.

Fixed Rising: the RBF (I love y’all). 

Vedic v. Tropical Astrology: honestly I think they’re both valid, and everyone should decide what placements resonate more with who they feel they are. Ex: I  have Venus, Jupiter, and my Sun in the 7th in Virgo (Tropical) but they’re in the 8th in Leo (Vedic). I feel more of the 8th house but in Virgo.

Pisces moons: I never feel like they’re listening to me if they aren’t looking at me because when they’re looking at me I can literally see them digesting the info w/ their dreamy eyes, but when they look away I just know they’re imagining some kind of fantasy that has nothing to do with the convo. 

Libra Moons: try to be soft and sweet but they have that fiery underside. I've noticed they’ll get all excited and sometimes aggressive and then apologize for it, like no girl look at you having a good time. they usually look aesthetically pleasing, you will never catch them not matching/ lookin raggedy in public, but they won’t judge others for it, Virgo and Taurus will haha.

Virgo + Libra: specifically rising + degrees, moon, or Venus combo usually have clear, healthy looking skin, especially after high school w/o all the teen acne hormones.

Saturn First Housers are interesting and learn a lot as they grow. Teachers before anyone could teach them, the lessons they over come gives them wisdom that goes beyond their years. Great listeners and are very charming. No one truly sees their authentic selves because it’s been postered with other peoples perceptions of who they THINK they are or CAN be when truly they are so much more than the surface level thinking that they come across. Can read you like a book, while gracefully accepting that we are all flawed but how we make of it is what matters. That’s the lesson. Mature levels can be profound with them, as they kinda don’t have a choice in this matter, it struck them before they could even say their first word.

Mercury 1st Housers are charismatic to the core and read the room insanely well. Comedians, alluring and masked magicians, their personalities are complex and this keeps the crowd wondering who they truly are from the core. You could say their mysteriously but that doesn’t quite explain them as they pull out all the tricks out of their wonderful top hat and continue to play with the hearts and emotions of people just because their charisma is great at this. Gift of gab, highly influencing and can persuade you to do just about anything with their words as theirs a certain majesty to their wordplay. Very odd creatures with their whimsical nature :)

Pluto in first house - some observations about this interesting placement

What planets are responsible for dark academia vibes? Generally I've found pluto is a major player which is why I do quite a lot of pluto related posts on here. The other main ones are saturn, mars (oddly enough, but academia can be cutthroat), and uranus. Neptune can be to an extent but not as much and mostly points towards humanities and liberal arts.

I noticed that at least two people ( @augustinerose @auroraplume) who commented on one of my previous posts had pluto in the first house. Thanks to you both for the support and hope you don't mind me shouting you out here!Pluto is a scorpionic planet, but the first house is one of the less scorpionic houses. I personally have pluto in the fourth house which is interesting too as the fourth house is one you would think stereotypically is not very plutonic or scorpionic in any way. Like the first house it can indicate interesting hidden stuff that you might not expect.

So in honour of spotting these weird patterns and interesting aspects I've done another little pluto breakdown here:

Generally any time pluto or any other 'occult' outer planet is in a house that you wouldn't expect it to go with, expect interesting patterns to be revealed. For example:

Pluto in first house: can indicate something cryptic, occult, or hidden to do with image and identity

At it's most literal level it can indicate a job or social role related to the occult. For example someone who is a spy, criminologist, works in government, tarot reader, astrologer, works in data, or so on. Anything that involves dealing with large volumes of info where there may be hidden stuff. Yet can also indicate the job itself is hidden such as someone who has a day job and moonlights as something else, or someone who is hiding their line of work because their peers or family don't approve (such as someone who wants to become a musician, poet, actor or suchlike but faces social pressure)

If not your job it can also point to core aspects that may be hidden or occult. This CAN be a placement of clairsentience, paranormal, and psychic happenings but doesn't have to be. This can be the closet to do with gender or sexuality but also to do with other core aspects of ourselves such as potentially masking neurodivergencies or even simply hiding events or occurances that have had a formative impact on us.

How does Pluto compare with other first house placements?

• tends to be deeper, more sinister, and more visceral than uranus and neptune in the first house. There is a genuine occult and slightly dangerous element to pluto in first house vs uranus, which can indicate lots of changes in life but ones that are within our control, pluto can indicate changes and wildcard events that are outside our control

• can be very go getting, socially shrewd, and a 'dark horse' but in a much less obvious way than mars. Mars in the first house can be assertive and successful but this tends to happen in a public or leadership role. if mars is the emperor, pluto in the first house is the power behind the throne. combine the two in the first house and you can end up with a personality that is revolutionary and controversial in leadership positions. this doesn't have to indicate world changing stuff it just could indicate a smart but controversial musician or leader of a band or director of a film - a head of department who makes polarising decisions for their subordinates etc - either way, these are people to look out for and keep on your side.

• pluto vs venus - venus will have an obvious aesthetic that they demonstrate physically. pluto in first house may not or may have very different aspects of their identity, for example living a normal life and then travelling abroad on a shoestring but without telling anyone. you may enter the home of someone with pluto in the first house and be surprised at what you find, such as a strange collection, or huge investment like an eccentric hobby, but not as much visible luxury as venus

• mercury in the first house may find thenselves in a role with lots of data or communications but has less access to the hidden side of affairs. for example - mercury will find themselves as the presenter of a tv show, youtube channel, or podcast. pluto will be on the editing team and responsible for a sustained social media campaign to push the channel. lots of access to people's data.

• pluto and saturn in first house can have similar tastes depending on their environment. in universities, college, and so on they may both be heavily involved with faculty and alma mater history but for very different reasons. saturn will preserve the traditions for traditions sake. pluto will investigate the history of a secret society, controversial book or paper, or unusual theory. may both like old varnished wooden furnishings and dark heavy fabrics, but for pluto it's much more of an aesthetic. Pluto could be an indiana Jones extra. Saturn is more likely to be a member of Hogwarts faculty.

Another random pluto fact:

Pluto in the first house makes for one of the most intriguing and unpredictable charts. It is honestly very hard to tell much about the lives these people may lead from their chart, even when other placements are accounted for.

You may have to look at multiple different placements as well as the aspects and other interactions of the chart. Even then there can be many layers as to how events play out. Events like the solar, saturn, and lunar return are very important to make sense of these charts. It can help to do a tarot reading to clarify.
