trying to decide whether he should be school king or if he is a cursed good guy and edward is an evil school king. because like is fell ibvs "everyone is evil except the villain" or is it just foxfield but worse? and obviously foxfield being worse would likely mean felix is the most popular boy in school. but like, I can't imagine felix being MORE evil in fell. like, this guy's evil level caps at about what he currently is and I think it would be really funny if felix was the supporting character in this version of the story. but the possibilities! felix being the school king, completely unchanged, would be so funny and probably more on brand anyway, and would put edward in a less awkward position as a character. hence the dilemma

Wouldn't it just be delicious if in season 2 the show went out of its way to confirm Ed's literacy, like showing him casually doing captain things like looking at ship manifests or checking ledgers or whatever? I think that could be hilarious.

I'm already an Ed Can Read truther because beyond the likelihood that a captain would need to be able to read maps and charts and the like, the set for his cabin on his original ship included scrolls, and at the party we see him look at the dinner place card while sitting in the right place.

Also historically, it really wasn't that uncommon to be able to read but not write! So him signing with an X doesn't disprove that to me. It would be even funnier if later on we learned that he knew how to write properly too, or even had a lovely running hand that rivaled Lucius? I would just eat that up with a spoon.

"And, Wooden stakes would kill anyone. You from blood loss and me from well, existence." He says looking over at you and grabbing some popcorn from the bowl between you.

"I see." You said looking off into the distance thinking.

"Why planning on killing me babe?" He jokes.

"No." You mumble shifting your position on the couch now looking at the screen.

He notices your sudden drop in mood and holds out his hand to you, you look over and take it as he lowers his head and looks at you through his eyelashes.

"I'll never put you in a position to do so, you know I love you right? I could never hurt you." He reminds you trying to calm your nervousness. You nodd and smile over at him still not sure about the idea that if he got any closer, he'd be able to hold himself back from biting you.

"That's my girl." He grins and continues watching the movie now holding your hand trying to comfort you.

You were walking in the woods, heading to the table that you would usually sit at when you needed to clear your head. So many things had gone on this week from drama with your friends to drama with your family that you just needed a break, some place to clear your head.

You had the feeling that you were being followed or watched. You tried to forget about it but, you just couldn't shake the feeling that someone was following you. You finally decided to turn around and you jumped when you saw Eddie standing behind you.

"Sorry." Eddie said with a chuckle. "Didn't mean to scare you. You okay?" He asked. "I- uh- yeah." You said with a nod. "You just scared me, that's all." You said as you sat down at the table. You were shocked when you saw Eddie sit down across from you. You studied his face for a moment. "Eddie Munson, right?" You asked.

"Yep, that's me." He said with a nod. "I figured you would still remember me." He said. You looked at him confused. "What do you mean?" You asked confused. He looked down at his hands for a moment before he spoke.

"Well, y'know.. this isn't exactly the first time we've umm... hung out." Eddie said. "No?" You asked. "You don't remember?" He asked. "I'm sorry.." You said as you shook your head. "It's okay." He said softly. He sat there for a moment quietly before dramatically putting his hand on his chest and flinging himself off the chair onto the ground. "Oh!" You yelled slightly in shock.

"I wouldn't remember me either, Y/N. Honestly." He said as he got up. You laughed as you watched him. "Uhmm.. do I have stuff in my hair?" Eddie asked as he used his fingers to comb the leaves out of his hair making you giggle. "You don't remember me?" He asked as he crossed his arms and looked over at you with a grin. "I'm sorry!" You said with a laugh.

"Middle school. Talent Show. You were doing this cheer thing. You know the-" He lazily began to do part of your old cheer act with his hands. "That thing." He said. You giggled as you watched him. "It was pretty cool actually." He said. "And I... I was with my band-" "Corroded Coffin!" You cut him off. "Corroded Coffin!" Eddie mumbled as he clapped his hands and spun around before pointing at you. "You do remember!" He said.

"No of course! With a name like that how could I forget?" You said. "I don't know. You're a freak." He said. You smiled a little. "No, you just... you looked so-" "Different?" He asked. "Yeah, well. Uhmm... my hair was buzzed and I didn't have these sweet old tatties yet." Eddie said as he pulled down the collar of his shirt revealing some of his tattoos.

"You played guitar, right?" You asked. "Uh-huh, still do. Still do." He said. "You should come see us. We uh, we play at the hideout on Tuesdays. It's pretty cool, we actually got a crowed of about five... drunks." Eddie said. You giggled and looked down. "It's not exactly the garden but you gotta start somewhere, right? So." He said as he gently punched the tree a few times before turning back to you.

"You know, you're not what I thought you'd be like." You said with a smile. "Mean and scary?" He asked as he grabbed some of his hair and put it over his mouth. "Yeah.." You said quietly. "Yeah, well.." He smiled as he started to walk back over to the table. "I actually thought that you'd kinda be mean and scary too." He said. "Me?" You asked. "Terrifying." Eddie said with a smile as he sat back down.

"Wow, okay thanks." You said with a laugh. He just shrugged and chuckled a little. The two of you sat there quietly before someone spoke. "So, uh... are you busy tonight?" Eddie asked. "No, I don't think I am, why?" You asked. "Well, I was just wondering if well... y'know... if you maybe wanted to come over to my place, y'know? Just to hang out or something." He said.

You smiled a little and looked down before looking back up at the brunette boy. "Sure, I'll be there." You said with a smile. Eddie grinned. "Alright, sounds good." He said. You smiled and nodded before getting up. "But, I should really get going." You said. "Okay." Eddie said with a nod. "See ya tonight?" He asked. "You bet." You said with a smile before walking away.

Case #1: Mary Ann/Polly Nichols

Date of Death: August 31st 1888

Physical Description: 5’2”, brown eyes, high cheekbones, graying dark brown hair

Family Life

Mary Ann was born to Edward Walker and Caroline Walker, being one of three children. Her brothers were named Edward Walker and Frederick Joseph Walker.

Mary Ann was married to William Nichols at age 18 and they had five children together; Edward (1866), Percy (1868), Alice (1870), Eliza (1877), and Henry (1879). The couple eventually separated due to Mary Ann’s alcoholism and prostitution alongside the suspected cheating William underwent with the nurse who helped deliver Henry.

Death

Being the first victim, Mary Ann was the least practiced. She had no organs removed, something that later becomes an MO of JTR, but she was found with a white handkerchief, a comb, and a piece of a mirror. She was missing five teeth, alongside other slash injuries. She was described as lying lengthwise along the street with her left hand touching a gate.

Mary Ann is particularly interesting in her connections to the lore of the show because, clearly, she’s being represented by Virginia seeing as she has all three of the children; Alice, Edward, and Henry. Seeing as Alice is a child in this woman’s life, it rules out the possibility of her being Mother Alice. She also doesn’t align with what we know Mother Virginia to look like, seeing as she has brown eyes and hair, unlike our blonde-haired blue-eyed devil.

What I think this could suggest is that there is an original timeline in which a different version of Mother Virginia had all three children. To me, this is ringing several Creeler bells. The original description of Mary Ann closely resembles both Joyce and Karen in S1 (though Karen is taller than 5’2”). It could apply to either of them, except Joyce only has two children as far as we know. None of her children hold semblance to the seen Creel children outside of the comparisons made between Henward and Will which are intended to explain Vecna’s fascination and crave for him rather than familial implications.

Now, the Wheeler family doesn’t perfectly match the Creel family. Instead of two sons, Karen has two daughters. Nancy has brown hair rather than blonde. Holly is blonde and blue-eyed, but Henry was a boy. Mike fits the least, but at the same time he would be filling the role of Edward as the outcast of the family in combination with his other isolating traits.

Karen potentially being Daughter Virginia from Edward’s timeline would make the Wheelers a direct parallel to this original timeline Creel family. I could drawl on similarities between Alice and Nancy, Edward and Mike, and Holly and Henry (which I might do another post for), but this is all to say that I believe there was an original timeline before Edward was banished. This delves into speculation, but I find it very intriguing that Mary Ann was found with a piece of mirror in her pocket at her death and Edward’s banishment in the show is surrounded by mirror shards. Almost like parallels. Or something.

I have a whole post here discussing why I am almost completely certain that Edward was Jack the Ripper. This first kill is incredibly important as a kick starter, but I’ll admit I’m still unsure of who removed Edward and how it was done. I’m also trying to keep these short, so it’s not as detailed as usual, sorry!!
