#my art#marinette dupain cheng#miraculous ladybug#miraculous fanart#style mimic#sorry for the @s btw#yall should go follow those artists if you dont already also#this was sort of inspired by a post the three artists on the top row made#i think they all got together and drew with one another#which is really cool#but i was genuinely confused because i mimic styles a lot#and ive seen others do it too so i was just like#wow they really know each others styles really well#until i thought about it and read their posts some more#style mimicking is really freaking fun and i think its really good practice#and a good way to explore other ways of doing things#like you really have to learn new techniques and get out of your comfort zone#also anna scribbles i could not find a recent pic of marinette in her main outfit#so thats the only marinette i drew in different clothes cuz i couldnt find a more recent ref of you drawing it#anna scribble marinette has privileges thats the others dont#but ye#i also threw my own style in there as a frame of reference to what me draw like#ive drawn marinette before just not in a loooong while#sabertooth walrus was the hardest for me to mimic cuz they have a broad range in their style#so its like which sabertooth do i wanna be in this pic#Buggachat has such a distinct style thats very clean and consistent which is amazing so they were easy#being easy or hard arent bad things either it also has to do with like styles meeting up with one another#buggachats and mine arent too too different in some shapes and aspects#so yeah itd be easier plus they drew marinette like 3 sec ago so i have more recent of a ref#as opposed to sabertooth who i have a recent ref of ladybug but not marinette so we got two diff styles in one

mannnnnn now that i've actually started medical transition it seems that i will, hopefully, someday, get through to the other side of the limbo tunnel and can hopefully explore more permanent masculine attire. which is as exciting as it is daunting. like, i'm under no illusions that there's a tangible cutoff point where i will Suddenly be out of the limbo state (though top surgery will certainly help if i can get it), and there's no one thing holding me back from exploring this space *now*, but it's. Difficult ,
the List of challenges i must navigate:
- men's fashion is on a surface level very sad and boring and i crave whimsy :( i know knowledge and experience will help but it's like playing on hard mode compared to being a Weird Girl (tm). i am currently gnc against my will and i desire to be gnc Intentionally and on my own terms
- hashtag short king problems. masculine attire was never made with me in mind. almost every time i observe an aspirational example of Men's Fashion it's on a tall lanky guy and that will never be me and that's okay but throw me a bone pleas
- the Autism Sensibilities. collars too close to the neck depletes me of HP. wearing accessories for too long depletes me of mana. if a button up is made of a slightly too stiff material it will give me rashes. i cannot wear binders because i value my ability to breathe comfortably. i can only do so many layers at once before i hit a game over screen. i MUST be comforble
- the restrictions of my circumstances, such as the safety rules of the watchmaker workshop or the mercy of scandinavian weather gods
i'm sure i will figure things out with time. i'm going to need patience. i'm probably going to have to learn how to tailor trousers. i will need to Observe how others dress. but it's so much!! ahh!!!!
#this post was inspired by ND stevenson's latest substack comic about men's fashion when trans#it was very good and inspiring to read and touched on a lot of things i've been thinking about#and i think my biggest takeaway is that i just need to follow more guys doing aspirational fashion on instagram haha#anyway if you know of any fashionable short kings and especially anyone considered plus size please recommend#like the goal is to dress in a way that's fun and comfy for Me without necessarily having to adhere to societal norms#but i would also like to be ABLE to dress professionally and respectably when necessary#i was never good at feminine fashion either and i think it's been painfully obvious to everyone growing up that i was Autism#but it was very easy to just get weird with feminine clothes and do your own thing as a weird girl highschooler#head of the gender clinic: 'have you tried purchasing men's clothes' HAVE YOU??? HAVE YOU GRAPPPED WITH MEN'S FASHION AND STYLES???

Moana Review!
Non spoiler :)
Tl;dr at the end!
To those who wanted to know what I thought :)) @hermy-97 @moonlight-n-moondust
Plot- it's kinda a jump into the story type, which can be good but I wish it had some more grounded scenes. I was left a little confused? But that's probably because I'm not that good at understanding mythology 😅 It does have fun world building if you like that!
Characters- I think it fleshes out the characteyr very well, older ones and the new ones (a lot better than what Wish did lol). Moana's sister doesn't come up as much I had wanted but she's super cute! I liked the new characters and Moana/Maui are pretty much the same.
Songs- ummm I really didn't like most of them? Idk they will probably grow on me but saying stuff that's happening in the plot while singing it doesn't make it a good song ya knowww. I literally laughed at some of the songs 💀 It was very obvious they needed Lin Manual Mirandas mind
TL;DR
Do I recommend??- If you really really love Moana I think it's always cool to see the characters again in a canon thing. I'd say it's a fun watch and incredibly pretty. Cool to go with friends or family but don't go in expecting it to be better than the first. Also there's an end credit scene that was mildly interesting so if you go make sure you stay for that! :3

I love living by the ocean bc finally I get those foggy Jack the Ripper kind of evenings when I get to walk around with limited vision and have the vague sense that something is lurking about in a sinister fashion this just does not happen when you are landlocked

I don’t know, me personally, I just think two adults playing pretend & pretending being gross together with full open communication & consent between them is harmless, but maybe that’s just me.
#this is very much a vague post if there ever was one & I’m absolutely vagueing#again; pay attention to the wording & reread if you need to#I think adults playing pretend on its own is harmless as long as everyone involved consents to it#idk how much more simply I can put this tbh but had to unfollow someone over saying certain kinks are harmful#like wow okay if they knew my other blog they’d be saying I’m an absolute freak probably tbh#always seems to be younger folks who have the unhealthy takes about kink but in this case i cant say nothing yknow?#idk this person & they're going through some stuff so i can't really say anything without it sounding tone policing plus parasocial#but just because bad people like a kink doesn't make a kink bad; trauma too doesn't make a kink bad; uncomfortable maybe but not harmful#just like in general yknow? its only as harmful as you make it between yourself & others. Everyone has to communicate or the whole thing#will fall apart. Controversial take but I'm gonna come out and say it- Dean knew before cas
#listen for me season 11 is the real /oh/ moment for dean#and whike i fulky believe that cas wanted him and desired him and knee that he woukd die for him and guve up everything#he hasn't boiled that down into what it really was#i think it's simply a softer moment to go from someine being your religion#and realizing that that's love#also it just compels me so extremely that cas' feelings mught be too big for him to know what they are#and that dean might have gotten to a place of emotional awareness by that point that he can slow things down#and see them fir what they are#also there's something about the amara storyline that just drives home the idea that dean is being made to feel like he's falling in love#but it isnt working because it dosen't feel the eay he does about cas#like their bond is deeper than the mark of cain bond he has with amara#anyways i think it's very likely that he represses the hell out of this following the widower arc because of how much that split him open#but their is something about jackles performance in later seasons that is just so resigned#like there's an intrinsic weight there#also cas should be allowed to be more feral more often#and wouldn't be interesting if it's his love for jack that makes him go /oh/#because that is so much softer and more simple#like that's also what love feels like#and it kind if cuts through the chaos of these big unnamed feelings#plus. the intrigue. the heartbreak. the drama.#destiel#deancas#spn

i havent even read enough gl to justify the feelings and emotions i have about kyle i just have the lovers heart and also something wrong with me. and my projection. in my mind he's just like me. and he would have loved college vending machine frozen cheeseburger and heating it up in the microwave at 1 in the morning because he was bored and didn't want to work on a drawing assignment on 20" x 30" paper that was due tomorrow in his freshman year. he would have loved going to the club to push off finals work that's creating the worst stress known to man in his brain. and he would love to annoy the fuck out of his roommate when high and avoiding homework on a saturday.
