While we're still debating, I headcanon Joel as a Comet. (It's a long one)

I've already seen a tweet with this explanation:

This would represent past Joel and his journey. HOWEVER Comet also represent change and new beginning (like in a birth of Jesus). A hope for a better future.

In concection to the Wild life, Joel, a wild card himself, just kept on moving, not looking back and moving forward without grudges. Free of his burden roaming through space just being happy. I also think because he would be a fast moving object (c'mon fast and furious) we could make the death interactions canon, while also playing on with his massive ego (he humbled himself tho)

he doesn’t want to be vocal about these things—he wants you to know right away that he wants your affection. a hand to your waist as it gently rubs your hipbone, him burying his face in the crook of your neck all of a sudden, and many more. he doesn’t want to be vocal about these things at all.

it wasn’t like you hated it. in fact, you found it quite adorable that your lover had this side to him. despite being a gambler in… many ways, it was cute how he had such a clingy side to him. although of course, it will always be behind closed doors.

when aventurine came back home to you, he immediately wrapped his arms around you as you felt him mumble into your skin how he’s tired. your hand reaches the nape of his neck as you gently play with the hair in that area. you feel aventurine sigh in relief—who knew that a person like him would end up acting like an exhausted child from the playground when he’s tired? 

“long day?” you asked him. he just mumbles in agreement and you couldn’t help but chuckle at him.

it’s these little moments that reminds you that love is as simple as a comforting hug after a long day.

Okay so I have this idea in my head and I need to get it out so if anyone wants to make this into a proper fic or something I would love that

Okay so if we’re taking the new TVA comic as canon to the show then my guess would be that Mobius tried to live on the sacred timeline (obviously not as Don since his original timeline was pruned) but he couldn’t do it and ended up going back to the TVA which gave the time for them to have changed things while he was gone, hence the new variant recruits and the Loki statues. (which I feel like would have been a Casey idea)

So Mobius comes back and things are very different now and he’s still getting used to it but the one thing he can’t seem to shake is the statues, the constant reminder of what he lost and what could’ve been. So now every morning without much thought about it, he walks by the statue and starts talking to it, he’ll tell this “Loki” how his day went, about a new case, anything really, something like a diary you know? But what Mobius doesn’t know is that somehow everything he’s been saying has been sent out to Loki stuck in that tree like prayer, and Loki desperately wishes he could say something back to him.

Eventually after trying very hard Loki is able to talk back, and one lonely morning Mobius walks up to the statue, sighs and simply says “mornin’ Loki” only to hear in his own head “hello Mobius”

AND THEN IT CONTINUES FROM THERE OR SOMETHING IDK OKAY
