he doesn't taste like anything you know what would taste like, its mysterious, you don't know if its bad or good, but maybe its for the best you don't. now that you look back on it, it could be blood, who knows.

Pantalone

he tastes like that mouthwash he uses, you dont know why he uses it, but you arent going to make him stop, its kind of tasty. he could buy you some of the same mouthwash, but you´d rather kiss him.

Wriothesley

he tastes like the sweetness of the drink Sigewinne finally got him to drink, with your help of course, the sweetness a contrast from his usual tea. Sigewinne loves you more than ever now.

“you still love him? even after all he's done?”

you pause. staring at the person before you with a curious, confused face. your mouth opens, releasing a small and quiet, “what do you mean?”

their grip on their fist tightens, along with a hard grit of their teeth. their eyes look over you. a dark yet pitiful and at the same time, resenting gaze. they snarl, “him! the villain! that bastard that ruined my life—our life! everyone's life! not only did he fucking destroy our home, he brainwashed you too!”

a pause once more. silence filling the place as the both of you stare in each other's eyes in a tune of quietness.

that is, until a chuckle breaks it. not one filled with humor, or joy, or any emotion considered by society to be positive. your eyes shift, a gaze filled with the hottest temperature of the desert mixed with cold of the artic. your menacing laughter is the burning heat of fire and the freezing chill of the glaciers, both at the same time.

a small smile—an evil one—crepts to your face. you whisper in a cold tone, quiet enough that only the two of you could hear, “villain? him?”

a laugh once more, it was if the person just said something utterly ridiculous.

“i'm the villain. the one pulling the strings, invading his mind with my sweet words, filling his thoughts of me with my touches—he doesn't even realize his reasoning and reality is all controlled by me…”

a step forward, the person's face turning pale. a surprise, a shock, a realization that the person they thought could help with their situation is the opposite.

a giggle. before another shift of your eyes comes—a stare that the person knows will be the last thing he sees before the nightmare of death, “if he's a villain to you, well then he opened up his heart to someone worse.”

Imagine this:

Escaping Dottore’s lab. 

Your footsteps echo against the walls and you can’t quite pinpoint which side you came from or where you should go next. 

The lights glowing above your head are dim – some flicking and others already broken. But the thing that unsettles you the most is the smell that lingers everywhere you go. Rubbing alcohol and blood, a smell he wears with pride.

Somewhere in his lab you stumble upon his figure. He stands at the other far end of the hallway. There is no movement, he simply stares at you, calmly. With adrenaline pumping through your blood you’re quick to turn around and take the other hallway in an attempt to escape him.

Only to find Dottore awaiting you.

And when you turn around you see him again.

Once more you attempt to run away, but he always catches up to you.

It takes you an awful long time, but when Dottore cages you in a hallway – on each ends a Dottore blocking your exit – you realise you have more than one captor.

Playable reader but they're the only one who has a second stamina bar when gliding/swimming. When the first bar runs out of stamina, Dottore automatically switches in with a line scolding them for straining themself or light-heartedly teasing them since they need to be carried now that they are tired.

He doesn't switch in when they're sprinting though, I imagine that canonically - not gameplay wise, he's just walking behind them, watching them run around. He's marvelling at how far they've come, going from bed-ridden to jumping everywhere and running circles around him.

As for climbing? There's a small chance of triggering a rare voice-line, so small that the players who found it thought it was part of an event or a side-quest.

Dottore, sighing exasperated: "Get down from there before you exhaust yourself."

Reader, grunting in strain but is still climbing: "Hold on— I think I'm almost there, I have to see what's up here. You'll catch me if I fall!"

Dottore: "And if I don't?"

Reader: "Wha— what do you mean 'if you don't...?!"

Dottore: "..."

Reader: "Dottore? Dottie—? Dot...! You're... you're still down there, right...? I can't look down..."

MY FAVORITE META CUTIE PIE COUPLE. Reader would always try to prove to Dottore that they don't need that much help anymore, which is true... to a certain extent. It's very obvious to Dottore whenever you push yourself, so while he usually prefers to lay back and carefully watch what you do, he'll always jump in when he feels it's necessary.

"Hey, I... I was fine to keep g-going..."

"Stop being foolish and listen to your doctor."

"Ugh... my back hurts now."

"You poor thing, shall I carry you?"

"No! I'm fine! ...I think."

AGREED!! Dottore (or another segment) is always just a few steps behind you. He's very much content to see you explore the oddities of the world (which are so very normal and boring to him, but interesting to you after being away for so long), mentally taking notes about how much you've changed and any abnormalities in your condition. He'll watch you jump up to pick some fruits for the two of you and skip back to him. He'll watch you tussle with a fishing rod and fight to reel in some fish for dinner. He loves watching you be confident in yourself just as you once were. Of course, if any danger were to appear, then he's in front of you again quicker than one can imagine. (Gameplay-wise, it's much more optimal for the player to use Dottore while running, otherwise, they'll have to deal with Reader complaining quite frequently...)

Climbing is probably the scariest part for Reader, but they can't help but want to challenge it sometimes! It's... not the easiest, but they can do it! Especially when they have Dottore in case of anything!

...Hopefully. You're well aware of Dottore's mean and sarcastic side, even if you're not the target of it the most often. Unfortunately, sometimes he uses it to scare you out of potentially dangerous situations for your body. It's for your own good, I promise.

˚✧₊• with any medical practice comes it’s more than fair share of issues. Teyvet doesn’t have its own international standards for doctors the same way one would hope for, to your displeasure, so the ability to get away with medical malpractice was one of incredible ease. for a particular muddy teal haired doctor, this has been a daily occurrence for years upon years. he’s not usually one to take an interest in any particular individual but he couldn’t deny you were just so much fun to play around with.

you didn’t know the time or the day. you didn’t know which way was north or east. you didn’t know a whole lot but you knew something; you were back on the shitty metal gurney you’d been on too many times before. with worn leather straps rubbing the same spots they’d scarred in the past, you blearily looked around to discern just what you’d be the victim of today. the small trolly next to you held a variety of syringes, all the contents different colours, and a handful of gauze pieces. above your head was the bright fluorescent light you’d become accustomed to accompanied by the usual grim visage of your most favourite doctor. with his free of any mask, you could see the ruby hue of his eyes and lifeless skin. his lips were covered in scars from where his sharp teeth had caught and nicked in the past but were curved in a smile upon your refined consciousness nonetheless. gloves hands inspected your skin briefly before noting several numbers on a small notepad and reaching for the first of several syringes. at your visible discomfort, he finally spoke up.

“i despise the hassle of sedatives. too much work to administer and they make my work far quieter than i’d like. we’ll be testing a variety of different methods on you today. for every dose,” he flicked the glass tube in typical doctor fashion, “i’ll make one benign incision. describe the effects to me for each cut.”

he aligned the first needle to your skin, and one slight pinch later, you could already feel the effects seeping into your bones. your flesh seemed to heat up as your body flared all over. every sense seemed to be heightened and you wondered how the fuck this could possibly make his job easier. you were left to stew in your own warmth for a couple minutes before cool plastic hands rested against your left thigh and suddenly you really did feel it.

whatever he used was some sort of aphrodisiac that turned all contact into some sort of blinding pleasure. clearly, if his smug grin told you anything, he knew exactly what the effects would be.

“hold still. i’ll be making the first of many incisions to come and it would be such a shame should you lose control too soon.”
