While it’s important to not let the ( suspected; not yet convicted) shooters politics overshadow what he did it’s weird how many people believe that the revolution will begin with people of color and other minorities “getting over themselves” and keeping their mouths shut about his views altogether

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP PLEASE
Hi everybody, how are we doing? I hope you're enjoying the beginning of fall. Now that I'm done just being hospitable, can I just be honest? Can I vent? Can I be heard? Am I allowed to express my hurt? Can I please request for aid?
I am struggling to all hell. On and off the streets and been homeless since June 1st. I don't need resource information- I need immediate relief in the form of financial support. My partner and I are doing our best to be strong but being strong does not help when we're in the position where we're lucky just to eat, or do laundry. Over this summer I have been robbed of my possessions (cards, clothes, cash, toiletries, my phone... all of which I struggled to get to begin with). I have been sexually assaulted and put through violent situations. Detained because people LIED and I guess that means guilty until proven innocent. Woke up undressed for reasons unbenounced to me in a house fire surrounded by flames and SOMEHOW, unfortunately survived. Somehow contracted a disease that has no fucking cure. I have reached out to EVERYONE I KNOW BEGGING FOR HELP. I have taken so much shit in exchange for the smallest amount of help, for food, for access to medical attention or a shower or for privacy. I have been homeless with a 103 degree fucking fever that lasted for days and got no help because I was too sick to move. I crawled to a shower and sat on the floor hoping my brain wouldn't melt (which it begins to at such temperatures btw). All this did not happen because I'm "lazy" or "a bad woman".
I am a woman presenting person who probably should have just been born in the right body or into the right wealthy ass family. I am in my 20s. I have been told I would make a great prostitute but I wasn't even made for of- nor am I interested. My abusive ass neglectful ass family are not helping me through my situation and my mom tells me I deserve it so that she doesn't have to cry while listening to me explain how bad things have gotten. I have a stab wound on my neck. I have burns on my body. I did not put those there myself. How could anybody deserve any of that? How could anybody do nothing to help? How can you just look at me and pessimistically say, "good luck". Or give the apathetic and unhelpful "me too" response.
My partner lost his dog after the fire. Can you imagine having to pretend like that doesn't matter because you have to worry about food? Can you imagine trying to provide emotional support because red cross never called back after you requested for health services? When your school says they can't help you because it's out of the budget???? "LIMITED FUNDS" they say. I was on the Dean's honor roll for TWO semesters in a row, almost close to getting my BA (just a few classes away). I was a student leader. UNTIL I had to finally say fuck that shit and drop. I have enough credits to graduate but I do not see how the fuck I'm going to survive until 2025.
I need help! Please help? Words of encouragement are appreciated but please help me raise enough for a down payment for a car to live in. That is what I'm asking for, at least for winter. I would like an apartment but California is so outrageous with prices, all I can hope for realistically is a car. Anything would help. Nothing is expected.
Please rb this post, if you can, it helps.
Always remember to maintain your humanity and that love persists.

Wind Breaker Analysis: People's Judgement
TRIGGER WARNING
This post may contain triggering words. Please read with caution. If you are feeling uneasy, you may choose to stop reading this post.
SPOILER ALERT
This post may include some minor spoilers.
"Did I assume?..."
"...That nobody would ever look at me like that?"
For the first time in his life, Sakura Haruka has experienced the feeling of acceptance and warmth.
2 Types of Judgement
Sometimes, we never realize that we end up judging people. No, not the kind of "being mean" or extreme negative criticism kind of judgement like how Sakura was judged in his old hometown, but the kind of judgement where we judge that other people won't accept us.
Root Cause
What's the root cause of the second type of judgement?
Trauma. Pain. Suffering.
When we come from a place of hurt, we develop and manifest a form of anger, and sometimes fear, towards other people. Thus, judging them.
Anger
Sakura showed anger. Lots of it.
The anger is, in a way, suppressed hurt from the fact that people shun us and reject us to an extreme.
We get angry at these people which can lead us to feel anger towards new people as well, because we end up assuming that nobody would treat us right, and that everyone is the same.
We have all the right to feel anger, because we were wronged.
Fear
For fear, Sakura showed less of it and more on anger. But his fears manifested in many other ways.
The fear also stems from the past trauma.
We end up fearing "the unknown" in people. Our mind thinks of the worst-case scenarios with these people and connects it to our past trauma.
"Oh no, everything is going to repeat. These new people will hate me as well."
"Oh no, doing things for others never end well"
These new people, including the past people, will be perceived as threats. Guilty until proven innocent.
Then, it's final, we close ourselves off.
How to feel love again
There's only one way to feel love again:
it's to open up to people who do show genuine love.
This is obviously not as easy as it sounds. You WILL be on guard, and that's okay.
But there will be people, who will one day come into your life, and show you that they care about you. They will give you patience and kindness. This will be a warm feeling you've never felt before. Just like Sakura with the people in the new town and in Furin High.
Of course, people who have been hurt and traumatized in the past will be hard up in opening themselves up again, and that's alright. Because the people who will love you will understand this.
They will understand you.
All you have to do is give them a chance.
If you or you know someone who is struggling with trauma or any other mental health issues, it is important to seek help from friends, family, professionals, or any emotional support system. Remember, you are not alone and there is always help available.
I'd Love to hear your thoughts! If you feel like you've related to this post or if you've noticed other mental health themes in the anime, drop a comment below or reblog and let's discuss!

Guilty until Proven Innocent-Part I
A/N: Hey everyone. Thank you for taking the time to look at this story. This is for a collaboration with @lainiespicewrites. She is an excellent writer and I figured it was my turn to stretch my writing muscles and put something out into the world. This is my first Henry Cavill fic, so please don't be too harsh. Anyways, enjoy!
Synopsis: After recent murders in town, You (Olivia) decide to train with Edith in the art of self-defense. In the middle of training, you got a mysterious knock on the door. Sherlock walks in, looking for assistance with his latest case. He offers you to partake in a partnership to help him in his latest case? Do you take it?
Warnings: mentions of death
“You’re progressing nicely Olivia.” Edith smiled from above me, her elbow pinning me to the floor mat. There wasn’t a hint of sweat along her forehead. She had taken me down in less than a minute. The worst part was I thought I was going to land a hit on her this time.
”I’m beginning to think that you’re just saying that to soothe my pride”. I rasped out. She had eased her hold on me and stood up, extending a hand.
”Nonsense. Look how far you’ve come since you first stepped in these doors. Pretty soon you’ll be able to hold your ground with me.” She exclaimed as I grabbed her hand and hoisted myself up. My back had long since started throbbing.
For the past few weeks, I have been meeting Edith at her office to train and learn self-defense. Ever since the first girl went missing and was later found dead in the street I hadn’t been able to sleep soundly. There were constant, nagging thoughts that made me question if I was going to be the next victim. It had only gotten worse when they found the next girl a week later in the middle of an alleyway that I frequently visited. Her throat had been cut.
In London, it was ill-advised for a woman, especially of noble birth, to consider something as trivial as self-defense. Women are supposed to be soft, elegant, and passive. All of the trouble and responsibility in making decisions was for the men.
Being passive and soft didn’t save those girls from their cruel end.
And I wasn’t going to let myself become like them. I refuse to be the next girl that falls victim to this. So I went to my dear friend Enola at her detective agency and inquired about a solution to my predicament. She sent me over to Edith and had me start training the next day. I’ve been training every day since then.
I’m still not really good at it.
”Did you say the same thing when you were teaching Enola?” I inquired as I dusted myself off. Edith only shook her head.
”Not exactly. Her response was more witty, thanks to her mother.” Eudoria Holmes, the mother, the fire starter as people liked to call her. I’ve seen her wanted poster splayed all across London. But I didn’t see her as a criminal. I saw her as the woman who saved my life six months ago.
That morning had been cold and bitter. I remember feeling my fingers grow numb while I huddled against a mailbox. Its red paint had chipped away at its base, leaving rust behind.
Which was ironic and poetic now that I think back on it. And let me explain why.
It all started when my father had recently passed from a sickness that left my mother and me penniless. With no man in the house and no money to our name, we were cast out of society. My mother and I were thrown out and the estate that I called my home. It was sold to another noble family in the south.
We lived off the street after that. My mother, using what knowledge she had of needlework, had acquired a job as an assisted seamstress. I was left to salvage whatever pity people gave me and half-rotten food from dumpsters.
Eventually, we were able to afford a small cottage on the outskirts of town. It was small, run-down, and often had a damp smell to it. Mother didn’t like to be there for a long period. She claimed it was because she was so busy with her duties to the seamstress that she didn’t have time to spend there. I think it was because she missed her life at the estate and living in this small broken cottage was too much for her to bear.
That morning six months ago I decided to go into town to fill my water bucket and get bread before it got too crowded. When I got there, I sat down by the mailbox to wait for the bakery to open. I was particularly annoyed when I saw a lot of people around this early in the morning.
I was watching a man get onto a carriage when something shifted from the corner of my eye. It had been a man, or what I thought was a man walking towards me with a package in their hand. When we made eye contact I didn’t think anything of it. I just watched them and noted how stiff they walked. They placed the package in the slot of the mailbox. Before I knew it, I was grabbed by the elbow, hoisted upright, and pulled away from the mailbox.
That mailbox exploded, releasing a whirlwind of fliers into the air.
The two of us had run from the police. I was forced to since they refused to let go of my hand. We ran until this stranger knew that they weren't being followed.
When things settled down, the man revealed that they were a woman in disguise. She introduced herself as Eudoria Holmes and then proceeded to lecture me about being near explosives as if she were my own mother. All I had wanted to do was bite back, to lecture her on how she shouldn’t be putting explosives where there were people.
Instead, I broke down, not from her lecturing but because of something I couldn’t quite place. All I knew was that I was waiting for a soggy piece of bread and nearly got blown up.
In the end, I told her everything. I told her my past, my current situation, and why I was even in town in the first place. One thing kind of led to another. The next thing I knew I was sitting in Eudoria’s house with a cup of tea in my hand.
I stayed in that damp cottage less and less as time passed and more at Eudoria’s warm, often chaotic home. That’s where I became friends with Enola, had briefly met her two brothers Sherlock and Mycroft, and felt somewhat happy.
I don’t know why she pulled me away from that mailbox. The one time I asked her she said she saw something in me, some sort of fire in my eye. She didn’t want it to go out along with the mailbox.
I didn’t believe her, but I couldn’t tell that to her.
“So what you’re trying to say is that I still have a long way to go,” I asked as my brain jumped back to the present. I stepped away from the mat and made my way into her office.
”What I’m saying is you’re doing better than you think you are. You just began learning. Give yourself a little credit.” Following me, she made her way to the table by the window. A stack of teacups were messily stacked up to one side. She grabbed two, placed them on saucers, and poured liquid into both.
“I know. I’m just…worried. It’s been a week since the last victim was found and the police still haven’t found the suspect.” I let out a sigh and sipped some of my tea. I needed a moment to choose my words carefully. “I just want to be…prepared.”
A heavy pause filled the air before either of us spoke.
”Olivia…there’s more to that, isn’t there?” Edith’s words were soft and gentle.
“I mean I-“. My response was sharply cut short.
A knock pulled our attention away from our conversation and to the door. A tall man entered from the training room and to Edith’s office. I couldn’t place if he looked tall because of his size, or because of the giant top hat sitting snugly on top of his head. Dark wavy strands of hair peaked through from under his hat.
”Have you any sense what time it is?” Edith interrogated, crossing her arms. The man took off his hat, revealing thick brown locks. His sculpted jawline and nose complimented the hair. Blue, mesmerizing eyes glanced around, investigating.
But the feature that I recognized right away from him was his shoulders. I knew those shoulders.
”Hello, Edith” His attention briefly shot to me “Olivia” I curtly nodded, averting my eyes.
”Good evening Mr. Holmes.” I responded softly. “With what do we owe the pleasure of your company?” Holmes. Sherlock Holmes. One of Enola’s older brothers. One of the greatest detectives I’ve ever seen.
”There’s no need for formalities Olivia.” I felt something warm begin to grow on my cheeks at his response. He’s only being polite Olivia. We are only acquaintances because of Enola and Eudoria. He doesn’t like you like that.
Or does he?
I’m not sure.
Sherlock Holmes is a difficult man to understand.
“What are you here for Sherlock?” Edith asked again, harsher this time. Her tone quickly pulled me back to the present and away from my thoughts.
Sherlock cleared his throat, his blue eyes revealing some sort of inner turmoil within himself. It was an unusual amount of emotion that I was not used to seeing. I expected it with Mycroft, he practically wore his emotions on his face at all times. Sherlock never did. He’s always been composed, and proper. Before me now he still was, but a layer of some sort had been chipped away.
”I….need your help.” He struggled to say the words like it was almost painful to him. A moment of silence clung in the air.
”Is it about Enola? Did she get herself into trouble?” There was a hint of concern in Edith’s voice when she begged the questions. The only response he gave was a small shake of his head. I watched as realization flashed on her face.
”There’s something about this case-“.
”That deduction cannot solve?” Edith finished his thought. He slightly nodded, setting his hat down on her desk. That was my cue. I softly placed my teacup down and made my way to the table by the window. I began making some tea for Sherlock while listening to the conversation.
”I may need your…skills to get information from a place I cannot enter.”
“What kind of place?” He listed off a name that I didn’t recognize. Edith’s face slightly reddened.
”A showgirl theatre?! You cannot ask me such a thing Sherlock, no matter how close we are.” My eyebrows raised as I grabbed a cup and saucer and poured some tea into the cup.
“I wouldn’t be asking if I didn’t have another option. A woman’s life is at stake.” His tone was calm, but there was something else there.
”But going into this with the possibility of getting murdered is not something I’m comfortable with. Woman’s freedom and rights is one thing, going after a serial killer is a whole other matter entirely”
”Edith, I-“. I cut them off.
”I’ll do it. I’ll go instead of you.” In their arguing, I had made my way back to the two of them, Sherlock's tea in hand. I had left mine behind.
”Olivia, do you know what kind of place that is, what situations you can get into. You’re nowhere near ready to hold your ground”. What she said was like a punch to the gut.
I knew I wasn’t ready, we had that same conversation not thirty minutes ago. But I knew that if Edith went and something bad had happened to her Enola and Eudoria would be devastated. I was different. If I went and something happened to me, Edith would still be here training more girls like me.
”Who else is going to do it? Enola? She’s not expendable. I am. And Edith, what about the other girls you train?” I took a breath, the stubbornness in me growing. “Besides, I know these streets better than anyone. I’ve lived in them. I know where to go in case I’m being followed. And because of the way I look,”. I paused briefly looking down at myself, at my curvy, plump figure. “No one would suspect me. They would just see me as a showgirl trying to make ends meet. I can blend in, go undercover, and get the information that he needs in order to catch this murderer.”
A heavy pause hung between the three of us.
I let what I said sink into the two of them. I know that Edith is fighting with herself on whether she can let me go. She believes that I am her responsibility, and I kind of was while Eudoria was undercover. But since starting to learn to defend myself I told myself that I couldn’t sit and wait. Sitting and worrying about who the next victim is going to drive me crazy. If I can help and make a difference, then maybe the suspect will be caught before there’s more tragedy.
”I promise I won’t let anything bad happen to her.” Sherlock’s voice broke the silence and my inner thoughts. “You have my word.” His eyes met mine at his. I felt something else there besides the promise. Edith sighed, rubbing her temples with both her index fingers.
“Okay, Sherlock. Just…make sure she comes back in one piece.” Edith finally concurred. “You’re going to have to speak to your mother if you don’t.”
A smile tugged at my lips at the agreement. I finally raised the cup of tea, offering it to him.
”When do we start?”

TW: SA, stalking, taeil situation.
hi, even though i answered an ask i viewed it best to make an entire specific post about the situation.
what taeil did is disgusting unacceptable and vile. i will always always always believe guilty until proven innocent when it comes to sexual assault.
i wanted to come on here because i’ve seen some takes on the situation and am here to remind you guys that this is not about you. please let us for once shift the focus from ourselves and taeil and focus more on supporting the victim(s) that are probably going through an dreadful time.
you can be angry and disappointed at taeil but remember that this is not about you (or any other nct member).
i, in no way support taeil and so should you. i genuinely hope he pays for his crimes and i hope that one day the survivor(s) will be able to get the justice they deserve.
this is in no way a light situation or simply just rumors. sexual assault is a crime that has troubled people so much some of them have died just because of the mental heaviness of being a survivor to it (so imagine the physical impacts as well).
if your focus right now is on how your faves wouldn’t do that or what you’ll do with your taeil photocards or how you’ll listen to nct’s music again or how is musical talent is “wasted” i hope you’ll be able to understand how fucked up and weird your point of view is and how your focus is absolutely not where it should be.
let’s just focus on making the internet a safe space for the survivor(s) to even maybe help make this whole situation 0.1% easier for them. and let’s focus on making taeil get what he deserves and pay for his crimes.
#moon taeil#i genuinely hope he does not get one day worth of rest and that he feels the weight of every single thing he’s ever done#i hope he feels tremendous and overbearing guilt to the point where he cannot stand himself anymore

Responding to Allegations
Hi Twosetters,
Thank you for your patience in waiting for our response. We are well aware of the allegations of worker exploitation that have been circulating our subreddit in the past few weeks. We take such issues very seriously, as we believe this to be a grave matter. Therefore, we needed time to conduct an internal investigation to evaluate the validity of these claims.
It’s tricky because we need to balance the confidentiality and privacy of our existing team members with the transparency and information that we think needs to be communicated. Quite frankly, these are internal matters, and any disputes should have gone through professional and/or legal channels. However, the other party has unfortunately chosen to conduct themselves in an unprofessional way and have put us in a position where we have to respond publicly.
At TwoSet, we’ve always had the vision of spreading our love for classical music as our guiding star. Very early on, we realised that this could not be done without a solid team behind us and this vision. From the videos to apparel to touring – all of this is the hard work of our amazing staff members.
As we come from very humble beginnings, we are not perfect, and it’s not always easy – we’re not a massive media company. But we have always known the importance of having a long-term sustainable team that we can achieve our mission with.
That means sticking up for our staff. Sometimes, inevitably, we make incorrect hires who spread toxicity and negativity, gaslight and blame others, and end up causing much more burden and stress on others in the team. The OOP was one such person we had to let go after repeated incidents of them speaking in a very rude and disrespectful manner to another team member. It’s disappointing that this person is now going further by trying to tarnish TwoSet’s reputation, thus hurting the remaining team and putting at risk everything we have accomplished.
It is for them, our team, that we take this so seriously. In the past, we have taken unjust criticism and shrugged off the negativity, not because we have anything to fear or for lack of accountability, but because we understood that giving attention to negativity often just sparks more drama and room for misunderstanding. It becomes a situation where people are fighting for the sake of fighting, and nobody remembers why anymore.
In order to ground this conversation, let’s always keep in mind - why are we having this discussion? We believe at the end of the day, it’s about constructive criticism and accountability; how do we (Brett and Eddy) improve to make TwoSet an increasingly better place to work at for all members? Many of the claims have not come from an intention to instigate any real meaningful change, but instead have been an attempt to vilify us. We know we are public figures and that’s part of what it means to be on the internet these days, but please remember that if we do get cancelled, many of our amazing team members will also lose their jobs.
Now, we really appreciate the majority of TwoSet fans who understand that these things are private matters and should be dealt with internally. We don’t want this to devolve into a situation where everyone is just trying to get more receipts on each other, because at the end of the day, nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. But we also understand that in the public sphere, unlike in court, it isn’t always innocent until proven guilty, and we feel that we have to share our side of the story in order to protect the team at TwoSet.
A summary and response to claims made against us:
Only hiring from “third world (asian) countries”:
Over 50% of our staff are NOT from third world countries. Some of our core team members are from countries such as Singapore, Canada, and Australia.
Only hiring “girls”:
While the majority (not all) of our staff are currently women, this is not by any design. Our team consists of amazingly talented people selected for their individual merit and fit for the position, not any specific characteristic.
Being expected to respond at unreasonable hours:
Due to time zones, constant travelling, and the international nature of our team, messages are often sent outside of what may be considered reasonable work hours for the person receiving it. However, we have never expected or pressured anyone to respond immediately. While we will make more effort in the future to think ahead for individual time zones, sometimes it really just means we have to get a message out before we sleep on our side of the world so that it can be read when the other person gets up for work in the morning.
Underpaying or not paying staff:
In the beginning (Kickstarter days), we admittedly had to pay on the lower end as we simply did not earn enough from YouTube - something we always made clear. However, we have been continually trying to raise the compensation of team members as we grow. We also recently implemented a yearly official salary review process and determined that two staff members deserved a raise which we proactively offered.
In other cases where staff have come to us asking for raises, we always operate from a principle of fairness and remain open to negotiation, taking factors such as industry benchmarks, experience, working hours, and contribution into consideration. Most importantly, we have always paid what was agreed upon.
It has also been alleged that we underpay staff despite them voicing their concerns to us. We wish to reiterate that we have never disregarded a staff’s concern about payment. We always welcome open and transparent conversation, and do what we believe is fair and right. One poster who claimed to have been underpaid happily agreed to the amount offered with no indication of dissatisfaction with the remuneration. We will not share any screenshots due to legal confidentiality, but many of those joining the bandwagon have made emotionally charged and factually inaccurate claims that would not hold up in court.
As to the confusion of paid volunteers, we offered a small amount of compensation to subtitlers who volunteered their time to create subtitles for videos as a ‘thank you’ for their work, but it was never a formal position offered with our team. Having recognised the confusion this has caused, we have changed our policies and will no longer have any paid volunteer positions in the future.
Being asked to take on multiple responsibilities:
This is something we are working really hard to solve. Often in a small startup, things change at a rapid pace, especially as we love to innovate and try new projects all the time. We have always asked if a team member is willing to help through these periods of growth and change, whether that’s through covering for certain roles or taking on new responsibilities and opportunities for learning. In situations where they expressed that they do not wish to do so, we have respected it.
We now know that some people may not feel comfortable saying no and to fix this, we are in the process of clearly defining every process and role in relation to how we operate.
—
So far, we have only addressed the claims that the OOP made and briefly touched on why they were let go, but it should be noted that their actions have breached the terms of their NDA and can be constituted as defamation. What they have done risks the wellbeing and hard work of everyone else on the TwoSet team, not to mention every fan who has believed in and supported us on this journey.
Ultimately, we truly want the best outcome for us and everyone we have worked with. We will be the first to admit that, as two violinists with no formal education in business or management processes, it has been a huge learning curve. We are trying to be better, and are always open to constructive feedback.
It has become clear that the amount of negativity and misinformation has been affecting the mental wellbeing of our team and the community in the past few weeks. Therefore, we will be deleting any posts or comments that we come across that contain misinformation or hateful intentions. We will of course still welcome open discourse and constructive feedback.
Finally, we want to thank our fans again for your understanding and support. We have read many of your comments, and it is clear that the majority of you understand that these are just false allegations on the internet. We understand it takes an act of trust to follow and support anyone and we take this responsibility really seriously. Thank you for having our backs.
Brett & Eddy

Chapter 1!!!
So I finally finished Ch. 1 of my book Smoke from the Fire- the first installment in The Reign of the Revolution series :DDDDD
Remember that NOTHING is final (but this is what I'm likely going to stick with), and also due to personal reasons this is the only full chapter I'll be sharing. I'll share snippets of certain scenes, certain lines of dialogue I like, or anything else like character-related stuff, but I won't be sharing any more full chapters :(
Word count: 2,056
Anyways, I hope you like it!
Let's begin, shall we?
--------------------
In my life, I’d made a lot of mistakes.
But none quite as bad as this.
All I could do now was close my eyes, clench my fists, and hope that they wouldn’t find me.
Because if they did, I was as good as dead.
---
In case you haven’t seen the overabundance of wanted posters with my name on them, let’s begin with an introduction.
My name is Silas Crow. Guilty until proven innocent; wanted dead or alive.
It’s not that I’ve led a life of crime. Quite the opposite, actually. Up until a few years ago, my parents and I had been living a simple life on the island of Cartris—a territory of Losca, just a little south of the mainland. Popí was a fisherman, although he liked to call himself a sailor. Mimá would sell the fish he caught. She was also well-educated, so she’d reserve some time every day to teach me. When I didn’t have lessons, I’d often go on fishing trips with Popí or help Mimá at the Cartris fish market. Sometimes, Popí would even take us to mainland Losca for a week. We’d sell fish there—at the larger market, so that we’d get more money.
It was a peaceful life. But that was before Endox came around.
Emperor Endox II had been a horrible ruler since about three years ago—shortly after his twenty-eighth birthday, when he killed his father to get the throne for himself, and with him, his mother, since she tried to protect him. Everyone put up with him at first, since we knew how dangerous he was. But then things started getting out of hand.
A few months ago, news spread throughout Losca that Endox’s wife, Meralina, had been brutally murdered by him after they had an argument about matters regarding their son, Prince Faelen. What matters, no one knew. In fact, rumor had it that the man who told this story in the first place was never seen nor heard from again.
Endox only grew more unfair and selfish since then. Taxes had always been high for us peasants, but Endox wasn’t satisfied. A few weeks ago, he raised them impossibly high, and for what? So that he could benefit off of the people’s hard-earned money. He raised them so high that many peasants started dying of starvation.
By then, we’d had more than enough, so we protested. A simple, bloodless protest. But since so many peasants had gathered for the protest, we had Estraham Castle surrounded, and the emperor’s troops panicked.
So they attacked.
The March on Estraham marked the beginning of the Loscan Revolution. Hundreds of lives were lost that day: the emperor’s troops—twenty-seven; the peasants—over three hundred.
My parents included.
It had been one of those weeks where Popí took us to the mainland. But this time, instead of selling fish, we were there for the protest.
If only we had realized beforehand what a mistake that had been.
I could still hear the gunshots; the screams of innocent protestors. Later, I’d find out that only about thirty of them made it out alive. I could still see the horror on my mother’s face as my father was shot square in the chest, blood spewing violently from the wound. I still felt her fingers digging into my arm as she begged me to leave, to save myself.
Then she, too, was shot. The bullet lodged itself in her leg, causing her to cry out in pain and collapse to her knees.
“Mimá!” I screamed, an agonizing mixture of fear and sorrow building up in my chest.
Mimá grasped her calf where she had been shot, but she gathered up her strength to look at me one last time. “Go, Silas, please!” She cried. “Find the Nemesis. Find Hunt. He’ll help you.”
“No!” I yelled, tears streaming down my face. “Come with me, please—I can’t lose you, too.”
“Go,” she whispered, her voice cracking from the pain.
Then she was shot again. As the second bullet struck her in the back, I heard myself screaming, crying, begging for her not to leave me.
Yet she did.
The last words Mimá said to me were, “Vei livé, Silas.”
Live free.
Those words were since etched into my mind.
I vaguely remembered running away, ignoring the pain in my shoulder as a bullet ripped through my flesh, and pushing through the crowd that was rapidly falling around me. I ran, and I didn’t look back.
After what seemed like hours, I found myself in a small alley. I touched my injured shoulder with my other hand, and it came back soaked in blood. Ripping off a strip of cloth from the bottom of my trousers, I wrapped it tight around the wound and knotted it. That took up the last of my energy and willpower. Leaning my head against the stone wall, I slid to the ground and closed my eyes.
Vei livé, Silas. Vei livé…
And it all came flooding back.
That was it. I couldn’t hold it in any longer. Tears streamed down my cheeks as great sobs shook my body. They were gone. My parents were gone, along with far too many others.
And I was alone.
I wasn’t sure how long I sat there, nor did I care. I remembered hearing voices outside the alley and the stomping of boots. The emperor's troops, no doubt searching for anyone who escaped. They never found me, but if they had, I wouldn’t have fought back. What was the point?
Then I remembered what Mimá had told me to do—to find the Nemesis. I wasn’t sure what that was, but one thing was certain: I couldn’t let any of their deaths be in vain.
So I stood and brushed away my tears, hearing my mother’s voice in my head once again.
Vei livé.
“I will, Mimá,” I whispered. “I promise.”
---
Days passed, then weeks, but it felt as if the March on Estraham had happened only yesterday. The streets were plagued with the emperor’s soldiers, or the Dekhrinn, as they had come to be known—Loscan for people of terror.
They accepted this name—in fact, causing terror was their main goal. Whenever they saw the Dekhrinn coming, people hid away in their homes, shut the curtains, and locked their doors. And yet, every day, someone would disappear, usually in the dead of night. But no one dared to fight against them. They were too terrified.
As for me … I lived off of whatever I could find. And I had come to discover just how many alleys Losca’s capital city, Cyvalos, had.
Alleys that were perfect for hiding.
As the stomping of boots drew closer, the only thing I could focus on was the racing of my heart in my ears. The voices became more and more defined until they stopped right outside the alley.
“Have you found anyone?” a deep voice asked.
“No, sir,” a second man said.
“Names.”
“What?”
“Tell me their names,” the first one demanded, irritated.
I heard the crinkling of paper, and I took that opportunity to slightly peek my head out from the shadows. Four Dekhrinn were positioned just outside the alley, their armor shining red and gold. Loscan colors. Two of the men stood off to the side, one twirling his fingers nervously and the other rocking back and forth on his heels. Another Dekhrinn stood with his back to me—the one who had fished the piece of paper out of his pocket. The last man stood in front of him, a badge on his shoulder making it clear that he was the one in charge.
“We were assigned four revolutionaries, sir,” said the man with the paper. “Fenerias Hunt, Annwyl Cadarius, Eraka Orelein, and—” he hesitated. “And Silas Crow.”
So they were looking for me.
“You still haven’t caught Crow?” growled the man in charge. A pause, then he mumbled, “The next time I ask for a report, that Silas boy should have been brought to the emperor, alive or dead. Is that clear?”
“Y-yes, sir.”
“Good.” With that, I heard his boots stomp away.
The other three Dekhrinn let out a long exhale as soon as he was out of earshot. For a few seconds, all was silent. Then the man with the list of names yelled, “Well? Don’t just stand around! Find them!” and he, too, stomped away.
The two other Dekhrinn shuffled closer to the alleyway entrance. I ducked into the shadows, my heart pounding.
“How do they expect us to find them?” one wondered aloud. “Losca is huge. They could be anywhere.” Silence, then he prompted, “Henrik?”
“What?” The other man—Henrik—asked.
“Do you ever wondered what would happen if we … you know, ran away?”
Henrik was silent for a beat. “Don’t say that. You never know who’s listening.”
“Yes, but …” There was a shuffling of feet. “Endox—”
“The emperor, Keflas,” Henrik corrected. “Show some respect if you want your head to stay attached to your neck.”
“If the emperor hears what I have to say about him, he’d behead me anyway,” the man named Keflas mumbled. “I think … well, don’t you think he’s a bit unfair?”
I had half a mind to run up to his face and yell, you think? but I forced myself to take a steadying breath.
Keflas continued, “I’m scared, Henrik. Just the other day, Sigourney’s husband disappeared.”
Henrik grunted, finally opening up to conversation although he still sounded a bit uncomfortable. “I heard about that,” he said. “Rumor has it that he was turned in by his own brother. They say you could hear his screams from the other side of the castle.”
Keflas shuddered. “Whatever he said, he probably didn’t deserve and end like that.”
“Exactly, which is why you should shut up before someone hears you!” retorted Henrik.
Keflas mumbled an apology. “Maybe we should start searching.”
Henrik muttered his agreement, and I heard their feet stomp away.
I slowly peeked my head out again, checking to make sure they were gone. Once I was sure that the alley was empty, I tiptoed out of my hiding place. This was my chance.
I ran as fast as I dared out of the alley—or tried to. Halfway out, I tripped on a root and fell on my face with a thud.
“Did you hear that?” came Henrik’s voice from the other side of the alley.
“Dakhas,” I cursed quietly. How could I be so stupid?
“Someone’s in there,” said Keflas.
I cursed again, then stood and quickly brushed myself off. Maybe I could still make it out without them finding me.
“There he is!” Henrik yelled.
I glanced behind me. Henrik and the other Dekhrinn from earlier—the one with the list of names—were running towards me while Keflas called for more soldiers.
That settles it, I thought. Time to go.
I sprinted out the alley.
Blood rushing in my ears and the Dekhrinn only a few paces behind me, I turned a corner just as a gunshot rang out. A bullet whizzed past me, just missing my ear.
I paused only for a second. Almost there, I thought to myself.
I kept running, pushing past confused passersby whose eyes widened when they saw who were behind me. I just had to get to the docks.
To the Nemesis.
As it came into view, I paused for a second to catch my breath, resting my hands on my knees. After weeks of searching, I had finally found what Mimá had told me to find. The Nemesis was what seemed like a large trading vessel. Why she asked me to find it, I didn’t know. All I knew was that I had to get aboard, or else I was dead meat.
“Hey!”
Oh no.
I glanced behind me and saw not two, but eight Dekhrinn running after me, pistols drawn. I eyed the docks again, but it was too far of a run. They’d shoot me down before I even got close.
To my left was a bustling fish market that seemed to go on for miles. If I mixed in with that crowd, they’d never find me.
I whispered a request for the Nemesis to stay at the docks for a little longer, then raced toward the fish market with eight Dekhrinn hot on my heels.
--------------------
So, what'd you think?
Also, keep in mind the names of the three revolutionaries (excluding Silas) they're searching for. These characters are important later 😉

SVU 26 x 7
Seen a lot of ppl saying Liv was really cranky this episode and honestly, yeah, but Carisi interrupted her kneading of what looked like a very soft pillow and I wouldn't forgive that either.
I too am proud of Carisi. It's like Liv said, innocent until proven guilty is the law of the land. And yes Liv has totally reacted the same way in the past but are people not allowed to grow? That being said, I am not in any way supporting that guy's actions, he should have sought help himself much sooner, however, I am pleased that the ultimate response was leaning towards prevention of crime rather than reaction to crime.
Bruno holding the baby was hysterical and I loved it. I also love that he's still in contact with some of the people he helped when he was in Bronx SVU. Really impresses upon us how he's always been a good SVU detective, he's just been in a bad unit.
Fin gently mentoring Bruno as he's done for Amanda and others in the past is always a plus. He's that guy they'll remember and be like wow he taught me a lot and we didn't even talk a ton.
I'm always somewhat happy to see a sex worker episode because, and I'm aware the bar is in hell, at least crime against sex workers is being acknowledged and prosecuted.
I've also seen a lot of people being like why did they show Walla (idk how to spell her name) the video of her own assault and while I agree that it must have been traumatic, I feel like that was almost meant to be trial prep. Because if the video exists, then the prosecution is going to have to give it to the defense who are also likely to use it. Does it suck that this is how the justice system works? Absolutely, but at least she was seeing it for the first time in a safe place where support was available if she needed it.
Kind of amazed it took them so long to canvas the other sex workers in that area. Just knowing that he was a regular for one of them should have been enough to kick off that he was probably known to a lot of others.
Overall, a decent episode.
P.S. I am not concerned about Carisi next episode. I'm just not. It's the mid season finale which is not a time any show would kill a character knowing a hiatus is coming during which they would lose viewership. It'd also be pointless, plot-wise. Do I think he might get hurt or even shot? Yeah maybe, but he's not gonna die so I'm not worried.

Would you still be interested in receiving asks for Serault meta? Because I would very much like to see you talk about the whole 'your great-grandfather did a nonspecific bad thing and now you have to prove you aren't evil' thing you mentioned in the tags?
The marquis and people of Serault have done absolutely nothing wrong, is the thing you have to keep in mind while playing The Last Court and scrambling to get together the resources to please the Divine without completely destroying Serault. Like, the current marquis is not the Shame and is not responsible for what he did. They're having to jump through all these hoops to throw a huge banquet worthy of the fucking Divine while their marquisate is already struggling from being so cut off from society, and they did nothing to deserve it! They weren't even alive when the Shame died! The only thing they're "guilty" of is being related to him!
And yet here they are, expected to bankrupt and shackle their home if that's what it takes to please Justinia, just to prove that they "deserve" to be "freed from their shame". What shame? They've done nothing! It's literally just "Your great-grandfather was an abomination so you're clearly just awful"! It's basically a much more serious version of that joke about the marquis having a tail because their great-grandfather was an abomination: he was Wrong, so they're Wrong. Guilty until proven innocent.
And remember, Justinia is supposed to be a good, progressive Divine. There is nothing forcing her to put so much pressure on the marquis! There's nothing making her force them to spend a fortune just to please her! This is a choice she's making! If she's so progressive she could just say "No, I'm not going to hold this person responsible for something that happened before they were born and that the actual guilty party was executed for", or at least make the "proof" needed of the marquis's innocence something simple that they could do without... y'know, spending a fortune on a banquet while their marquisate is already suffering. It really does feel like Justinia was setting the marquis up to fail, and there was absolutely no reason for it because again, they didn't do anything wrong. No wonder they don't seem too broken up about it if she ends up having to flee the marquisate...

If Moonflower was in The Bad Guys: part 20
Diane Foxenton lists crimes that the bad guys did {I forgot them}
Professor Marmalade: Diane please-
Diane Foxenton: I am sorry professor but I am calling the chief!
Professor Marmalade: Okay, stay here.
Mr. Wolf: You couldn't help yourself!
Mr. Snake: So I had a moment of weakness! Sue me!
Mr. Wolf: That's gonna be difficult from prison!
Webs: Guys, guys! What do we do?
Mr. Wolf: Time for the charm.
Mr. Shark: Oh yeah, the full clooney.
Mr. Wolf: Governor {other names that I forgot} Diiiianeee!
Diane Foxenton: Do not clooney me Wolf!
Mr. Wolf: What do you mean? I have no idea what you are talking about.
Diane Foxenton: Do you ever get tired of lieing?
Mr. Wolf: Hehheh no! Wait uh fudge! That was a trick question, right?
Diane Foxenton: I gave you all a chance to be more than scary villains! But you're too, gutless to take it!
Mr. Wolf: I'm gutless? Oh ho ho, I'm sorry have we met?! I'm the villain of every story! Guilty until proven innocent! But of course you wouldn't get that. With your little miss perfect power suits.
Diane Foxenton: Is that so?
She pulls out the ring Mr. Wolf had.
Mr. Wolf: Wait how did you?
Diane Foxenton: A wolf and a fox, are not so different.
She flicks the ring to Mr. Wolf and he catches it.
The scene fades into Mr. Wolf sitting in the moonlight and Moonflower joins him.
Moonflower: Hey.
Mr. Wolf: Hey...
Moonflower's frill droops down a little and she tilts her head.
Moonflower: You okay?
Mr. Wolf: Yeah it's just... (sighs) Moon, do you ever wanna be more than villains?
Moonflower tilts her head a little more.
Moonflower: Sometimes but...
She sits down next to him.
Moonflower: It's hard to change people's minds, no matter how many enchantments I make to have them think of something a different way, it isn't them. It's the enchantment. But, there are people who don't view you like everyone else. Like Sam and Diane.
Mr. Wolf looks at her.
Mr. Wolf: Diane doesn't think of us as villains?
Moonflower shakes her head.
Moonflower: She veiws us as misunderstood. Not as villains. She thinks that because we're different we are treated differently. Which is true but, she thinks that we have gotten so used to being treated like we are bad that we became bad. Did I dumb it down enough for you?
Mr. Wolf laughs.
Mr. Wolf: I think you did.
The cat meows.
Mr. Wolf and Moomflower look at the tree the cat is in.
Moonflower: Oh right, it's still stuck up there.
Mr. Wolf: I'm going to change that!
Moonflower: Wolf- never mind he won't listen.
Mr. Wolf gets to the tree.
Mr. Wolf: Hey, remember me? The names Wolf.
The cat meows and backs up.
Mr. Wolf: Yeah I get that a lot. But someone told me that we are only viewed like that, because we have been treated like we are that.
Mr. Wolf holds out his hand.
The cat meows and tries to run away.
Mr. Wolf: No no no! Wait!
The branch the cat is on snaps and Mr. Wolf catches it.
Mr. Wolf: Hey its okay, I understand you're scared I would be too. Just give me a chance.
Mr. Wolf holds out his hand.
Mr. Wolf: Come on kitty.
The cat rubs up against his hand and he holds the cat.
Mr. Wolf: Yeah who's a good kitty? Who's a good kitty?
The rest of the bad guys walk up to Mr. Wolf.
Webs: Uh you saved it?
Professer Marmalade: Yes! It's working!
Mr. Wolf: You recorded that?
Professer Marmalade: Yep! And people love you!
The bad guys cheer.
Moonflower: I'm going to be able to go on a normal date with Sam! With no enchantments!
Professor Marmalade: Wolf, can I speak to you for a moment?
Mr. Wolf: Yeah, what's up?
Professer Marmalade: Soon you'll have to choose between your friends, or the good life...
Mr. Wolf: What? You mean the guys?
Mr. Snake and Moonflower stop and listen to the conversation.
Moonflower nods to Mr. Snake and flashes some scales (the translation at the bottom says, "he won't leave us, right?") Mr. Snake shrugs and the two go back inside.
Mr. Snake: Hey, about going good... it's only for the plan right?
Mr. Wolf: Yeah, why do you ask?
The cat meows.
Mr. Snake: You brought the cat?
Mr. Wolf: Yeah sorry just saving it for latter, anyways continue.
Mr. Snake: Well I'm just, getting worried I mean... you're getting all cozy with Marmalade and.
Mr. Wolf: Hey Snake who made the plan to begin with it?
Mr. Snake moves so that he is looking at Mr. Wolf.
Mr. Snake: You did...
Mr. Wolf: So I'm the one who sticks with it right?
Mr. Snake: Yeah...
Mr. Wolf: So you don't have to worry! Go bad...
Mr. Snake: Or go home. I can't wait for things to go back to normal!
Mr. Wolf: Back to normal yeah yeah.

I'm on chapter 50 of "Your majesty, please spare me this time" and honestly I'm coming to like it.
I still hate the dumbest fl, I don't think I'll ever like her. BUT that doesn't mean I don't understand her. Like I get why she's acting the way she is. Like she's really hateful of Rupert for what seems like no reason cause he's just a kid like her but think about Hitler, for example. If you were a victim of Hitlers awful-ness you would probably kill him as a baby, right? Even tho he is so sweet and innocent, he's just a child! You would still want to cause harm upon him bcs he fucked up urs and many others lives in such a horrible way.
I know this is a debate in itself but I think y'all get what I mean, right? It doesn't matter how small and tortured we know Rupert is, we can't help but hate him bcs we have this unreliable narration about how he murdered everyone for no reason. In reality, it could be a perfectly sane reason. I mean in today's standards it's fucked no matter what but back then u could get hung for talking shit soooo, he doesn't seem so bad now does he?
Whenever reading a comic set in the past like this it's important to put urself in the the shoes of someone living then, take a historical standpoint. We will never know if the author was thinking historically or if they're just a murderer but it makes u feel better, yeah? It makes you feel better to think that this is just what it was like. It doesn't mean it was right but it does mean that somethings aren't as bad as you make them seem.
Like in history class the teacher is like "and he was married to his cousin" u always go "ewww wtf" but that was so fucking normal depending on the timeline and the social class of those involved. Take a step back, take several steps back, to the point where you are no longer in 2023 but in the fucking 1900s or smth. Now does it seem so wrong? Not rlly.
Wow I rlly lost track there MY BAD- anyhow, remember the phrase "innocent until proven guilty" we don't know why Rupert killed the people he did (well unless you've read spoilers for some deaths, which I have hehe) sooo he's still a good person until we figure out he's not. This is a standpoint u can take as the READER, of course, but you should be able to understand this standpoint is not nearly as easy to take for (I forget her name omg) umm (ok I went back and read a bit to find her name lmao) Laliette as it is to us. Her, from her view, innocent family died at the hands of a tyrant who killed his family for no reason. Would you forgive him even if he was an innocent child? Yeah no
My bad I just word-vomited whoops but wtv bye
#word vomit#i have a lot to say#i do whatever the fuck i want#my bad#lol#ok bye#whoops#your majesty please spare me this time

« rewind. / pause. / fast forward. »
you knew of TARTAGLIA's strength in spite of his lithe build, but he seemed awfully relaxed behind the thin sheet of glass separating the two of you. it seemed unlikely for him to pull anything.
you managed to relax yourself, letting out a deep sigh. "i'd appreciate it if you won't keep up your remarks and focus on lessening your sentence."
"of course, of course—the sooner, the better."
you were a little surprised how enthusiastic he was to get this done. did he say that just to throw you off?
...whatever, you weren't about to get shaken up by him.
"alright... let's get to the point. do you remember anything from two weeks ago?"
"i seem to forget... but you know who i won't?"
just wanting for this interrogation to go smoothly, you let him continue.
"you."
you sighed. "look, i'm not sure what this is, but i don't think your family will appreciate it when we withdraw from your case—"
"what," the room immediately sent a blast of arctic freeze through your blood at the change of tone evident in his voice. scary how people can quicklychange not only their mood, but the mood at the same time. "how the hell did they—"
"i don't mean to interrupt," a familiar voice broke tartaglia out of that chilling transformation, the both of you redirecting your attention to behind you. "there's someone here to see you."
KAEYA relaxed himself against the door frame, his face not betraying an ounce of his plans. naturally, tartaglia was quick to raise a brow. was quick to raise a brow.
"who?"
"oh, nobody special i presume... there is a young boy, though. looks about the spitting image of you—how adorable-"
"kaeya," you interjected. it was then you noticed tartaglia's hands shaking from behind the plexiglass. you started walking towards the door. "a word, please."
closing the door behind you, kaeya changed his position to rest on that instead of the door frame.
"that definitely wasn't necessary."
"oh yeah? the interrogation was going a little bit slow for my taste, so i figured that i'd quicken things up a little."
"well, you didn't have to do it like that!"
"i'm sorry, but who's the criminal here?" much like tartaglia's, kaeya's tone grew dark, the glint in his eyes dimming. "he's murdered, [name]—he's a danger to society. he has no regard for others, much less himself. you can't exactly play nice with him."
"i know that!" letting your emotions get true better of you, kaeya and some other officers nearby perked up. "but he's already been tried for that and serving his time. i don't know about you, but i'm focused on his current case. in eyes of the law, he's innocent until proven guilty!"
you took his silence as a push to continue. "i won't stop at anything to prove whatever it is—but as of now, he didn't do anything."
pushing past him to get back to the interrogation room, you then noticed tartaglia was now more relaxed than he was when you first went in. the way his brash confidence replaced by quietness strangely made him look less tense.
"...you didn't have to do that."
"i wanted to," you answered honestly. "it's just something about his tactics that feel underhanded..."
"i'll take part in the questioning," he suddenly blurted it out, much to your surprise. "i'll be out of your hair in no time."
you couldn't help but try and hold in a squeal and your obvious elation. "that's great! uh, i mean... good."
you were quick to get yourself situated, finding a chair nearby to start questioning. "alright... back to where we've started... do you remember what happened two weeks ago? the night of mr. ragnvindr's crash?"
"easy. it was my youngest brother, teucer's birthday. i thought i'd get him a little gift with some money i made at the prison and give it to him in person while i'm at it."
ignoring his casual admittance of jailbreak, you just jotted it down and continued. "is there any reason why anyone would accuse you of the crime?"
"well... now that i think about it, i believe so. i'm not the only fatui head, as you probably know. and let's say we're not exactly... fond of each other."
"anyone in particular?"
"hmm... if i had to say... the fair lady, the marionette, and... ah ha! the balladeer."
"why do you think so?"
he was about to give you an answer, but then stopped himself. you knew by how quick he was to pick up after you that he was going to go off on a rant, but he seemed to value your time enough to cut himself.
"if you're going to track them down by themselves, i wouldn't bother with the first two... one's six feet under, though she's moreso toasted," he snickered as if you'd get it. "and the other... i think she's only just annoyed by me. as for the balladeer..."
tartaglia stopped again.
"he just has something out for me... though i guess that's not saying much 'cause he has something out for everybody."
a dry laugh rang out through the room.
"i see..." seeing that you were reaching the end of your prepared questions, you went to look up to him for one last time. "do you have anyone else that can testify for you?"
"there's my family, obviously. my subordinates and co-workers, though who's to say that they wouldn't break their oaths and commit perjury just to rise up the ranks..."
"...right, i think that just about does it," after a period of silence, you added the final notes and beamed up at him, standing up. "thank you for cooperating."
"thank you for not dropping my case," tartaglia sighed, a smile on his face despite you opening the door, letting two officers file in to fetch him. "and one more thing—well—two more things."
"yeah?"
"i meant it when i said you're a pretty one. just thought you should know," the sparkle of sincerity in his eyes caused you to blush. "and you can call me childe. it's quicker, and something tells me we'll be seeing each other more often after today."
he left the room with the officers tight on his trail.

🍭 not the original person, but do you have any proof of half of that? Esp the financial stuff and bit about crunch or mismanagement towards her staff team? Like, no I haven't seen her post anything about looking for a Programmer or whatever, but why would she? Also she DID a few years back make her search for a new Programmer pretty public when the last one went AWOL.
But the other stuff, like, no there's probably nothing like that that anyone can show, but the onus is actually on the accusing party . So it would actually be on you to show proof of /your/ claims, and real proof, not just vibes or anything that amounts to "the thing I specifically want isn't on the site". Innocent until proven guilty and all that.
Actually, one of the staff was in the chat a few days ago saying that there's a lot of progress on work behind the scenes! Just none of it ready quite yet. Also, here's a few things I can point out as proof that she and her team are working on updates to the site, and not just idk goofing around and jerking off:
There's a new explore area that's very close to being dropped! New baddies and goats/ ADs for it as well. This is something that requires both coding and art assets. They also listened to the backlash regarding Goatling Spotlight and went back on getting rid of it (even though they had decent enough reason to get rid of it), and brought back the community Discord, and listened to complaints about the Princely Premium shop prices. Isn't it good to listen to the community, and adjust based on feedback? They revamp designs when allegations of plagiarism arise, and look into it to be fair, as well. We have an on-site way of earning diamond dust via the daily quests, which is cool, too. The upcoming SNBW shop is probably going to be nice, too. And there's plenty more, too. So, she is doing stuff. Including running several donation drives throughout the year.
No one is saying Kris isn't painfully slow about updates, a bunch of Halloween stuff is still up despite it being over. But forgive me for not thinking that's that big of a deal.
Again, yes, she's slow with updates and forgetful. But I think that's kind of why people were bringing up her ADHD. Because that's kind of a hallmark of the condition. She's not perfect, but she's not some evil CEO, and her staff aren't just a bunch of enablers, they try their best to bridge the gap between her and the rest of the userbase, but it's yes. That *is* hard, it's hard to do when people have already made up their mind, and don't seem to be willing to listen when their misinformed position is being challenged. And also have to be really mean spirited about it.
I also get you guys just want things to be better. More than just on Goatlings, but in the world, too. But you feel like Goatlings might be the only place you can make that sort of positive change. So, by all means, do make suggestions, do have your criticism! But be reasonable and have a little more understanding and empathy when you do. Your criticism is fine, but most of you are horrible at giving it.
You can't help how you feel, so it's fine if you're angry, but please remember there are other people on the other side of the screen, too.

🎸 Hello! This is an Indie, Semi-Selective and Crossover/OC friendly 80s and Horror Multimuse! 🎸
I do not own any of the muses mentioned besides my own OCs.
I am aware of the actions of two of the cast members of Stranger things regarding real world events and I do not support or condone such behaviors.
Free Palestine.
This blog is a sideblog. All likes, follows and interactions will come from my blog (@scribsmcgee). This blog is also mobile bound but I will cut my posts and write multiple paragraphs and will do my best to fulfill any standards regarding your rules about lengths of posts and such.
This also explains why my gifs are different sizes and icons are different sizes. My apologies.
I am a Semi-selective blog which means I’m a tad picky on who I interact with. This also goes into unfollowing. If I unfollow you, I can’t see our muses working out anymore or our writing styles. Don’t take it personally, this is a hobby after all. This also means don’t drag me into bullshit if I unfollow you, I have my reasons. I have the right to follow and unfollow who I wish and the same goes to you. Remember boundaries are important folks!
This blog will contain canon divergent aspects for certain characters and verses. I will also be sprinkling in my headcannons for these characters and a few world building headcannons.
Crossovers are 1000000% welcome! I encourage you to throw your funny guys at my guys!! I will need some guidance on muses I don’t know though so be prepared to plot plot plot!!
This blog is mega 21+ given the content of the show and that I’m an old fart (23). I won’t hold back on getting into more heavier topics such as Child abuse and Neglect, Drug abuse, Alcoholism, Trauma, Other worldly body horror, Eldritch horror, Gun violence, Body violence, mind control, Misunderstanding and blackmailing of someone who is neurodivergent, The Mun is Diagnosed, (Not from the muses themselves but will be referenced in their bios), blood, gore and etc.
Seriously, if any of this shit above affects you, I urge you to proceed with caution. I’m not responsible if you get upset with the warning label above.
I will tag any and all references of more heavier shit with the tags below. If you need something tagged let me know and I’ll happily do so!
Examples:
Media.warning.blood
Media.warning.injury.
That being said, this blog will NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES write problematic content. None. I’m talking proshit and other nasty shit.
I mean it, don’t bring it in my house.
This blog Will however, write ships!
The ship I mainly write is Steddie but I am open to more ships.
The ships I will not write but will still take interactions on are:
Stancy
Hellcheer
Harringrove
I won’t write shipping content in any form with Minors.
For NSFW:
I am comfortable writing some NSFW but no hardcore stuff. Ask me what level I’m comfy with but I’m okay with some stuff.
I prefer not to list it here due to comfort reasons.
I’ll also say this here aswell. DO NOT GUILT TRIP ME OR MANIPULATE ME INTO REPLYING or FOLLOWING YOU BACK. I will not have that on my blog. Do not pull that with me I will block you.
For callout and cancel culture I’m a bit of a middleman. I don’t particularly like it due to its problematic history itself but I fully believe warning people about problematic and dangerous people in the RPC is a good thing! But there are often times alot of claims are bullshit and just make things messy for no reason other than petty disputes. I will 100% believe any accusations on anyone I interact with if there is proof of their shitty behavior or disgusting acts. I try to see things as innocent until 100% proven guilty and if anyone I interact with have such a history with disgusting things PLEASE LET ME KNOW WITH PROOF I AM VERY STUPID!
If you wish to warn me about a dangerous individual please don’t send me an anon all ‘hey so and so is bad’ and not give me any proof or what exactly makes them bad because I’ve had that happen before and it just makes you look silly friend. Again, Please provide proof for me.

Personals attached to rp blogs are free to like starter calls and inbox calls! Just make sure your blog is visible in your description or let me know via inbox!
If I have used your content, via icons or headers and I have missed crediting you properly, absolutely let me know and I’ll fix it!
Thank you so much for making it this far! I know it’s a heavy read but it means a lot :]
This password isn’t necessary but I would appreciate it in my inbox to show you’ve read the rules!

Hi everyone, figured I'd make a long and more accessible version of thoughts on the whole Dream groomjng situation. And I'm doing it on tumblr because twitter will kill me without reading this whole thing.
Tw// grooming. Just like that whole spectrum of issues there. White privilege. Idk why I'm tw that
So long story short I don't think Dream did it. Not because I don't think he wouldn't, but because I know he's not that much of an idiot. He knows if he ever even go accused of anything of that sort it would wreck his career. (It has made an impact, if you can't tell you need to do more research please)
But I also wouldn't be surprised if he did. I also don't think he was dumb enough to leave enough proof for him to get convicted.
I believe in innocent until proven guilty. But I also don't know which party is innocent and which is not. It's not fair for me to choose a side here. It's not really fair for any of us too. We shouldn't be defending Dream because we don't know him personally, we don't know what he's like. We also don't have all the details. We don't know the girls either.
And I know nothing will ever come of this. Life will go on and nothing will be said. It'll be a thing of the past. A thing to say like we say "remember when Snoop dog was on trial for murder" because whether he did it or not, he's white, he's male, he's famous. If he did do it, he knew he could probably get away with it. I don't think Dream's the kind of guy to realize the extent of his privilege. Not many people ever do, and it takes alot of time to even brush the surface.
And yes, I do think it's weird that they only came out with the allocations after the face reveal. And yes I do realize the evidence is kind of flimsy. But like I said, it's not my place to have a say in this. These are serious allegations and should be taken seriously.
Thank you for reading this whole thing. Thank you for giving me your time.
-Jay
