I desperately want the job for a lot of reasons: I love the mission of the organization, I miss nonprofit work and organizing, I love feeling like I could do something that could make a significant difference in the lives of a meaningful number of human beings. The whole idea of the work makes me feel like a feral raccoon biting downed power lines. I want the job so much.

But the other thing is that it pays really well and I could actually enjoy a comfortable middle-class life for the first time since I was a young child. That would be fuckin wild for me. And you know what I'm going to do? I am going to go balls to the wall with concert tickets.
