Summary: you’re too shy to come up to fred so he comes up to you

You had been apart of limp bizkits staff for about 7 months, your job was to make sure everything was working, the sound, the speakers, the mic, etc… sometimes you took care of Fred’s dog when he took his dog on tour. You’re glad that Fred trust you enough to take care of his dog, it made you two closer, but he was always the one talking to you, you were always nervous to go up to him

They were on tour as usual, and you were checking the sound system backstage when you heard whispering behind you, you secretly looked back and saw it was the band, they weren’t loud but you could hear them, it’s almost like they wanted you to hear them, you listened into their conversation

Wes: dude you’re such a pussy, I’m pretty sure she’s just a quiet person if you ask her out she’ll agree, trust me

You hear the conversation finish and now you hear footsteps coming toward you, you’re thinking fast and figured they were talking about you, I mean, who else is could it be? You pretend not to notice Fred coming up to you as you feel his hand grab your shoulder, you turn around and see it’s Fred still holding on to your shoulder by his tatted arm. It’s something you always admired about Fred, his tattoos, you always stared at them sometimes he caught you staring at his tattoos, he never got offended he liked the way you stared at his tattoos

“You like em?” Fred had noticed you were staring at his tattoos “huh? Oh sorry… I didn’t mean to stare" you were cursing yourself out in your head because he noticed you “but yeah… I like them” you smiled and looked down to your lap “yeah? Fred continued to talk about his tattoos to you, even lifting up his shirt to show you his tattoos on his chest, you were too busy admiring his chest to admire the tattoos on his chest, god, you hoped he didn’t notice. During him showing you his tattoos he’d get closer to you and think you didn’t notice, which you did but you didn’t mind being close to him, you didn’t talk while he was talking about his tattoos, because you liked hearing his voice and him…

It was time for Fred and the guys to go on stage, you could hear the crowd roar with excitement, they were about 3 songs in, they just finished their 3rd song when Fred paused and said ”I….I have a date with a beautiful girl tonight, so this song is for her, cause it’s her favourite limp bizkit song” cue, the intro to counterfeit starts playing *holy shit! Fred you beautiful bastard!* the crowd started screaming and you didn’t take your eyes off of time the entire time he played, you didn’t even know he knew that your favourite song was counterfeit. They finished their show and Fred thanked the crowd for showing up, they went off stage and got some water and towels to dry themselves off, you didn’t want to bombard him after he finished his show so you stayed back so he could relax

But just as you were finishing some paperwork you felt a tap on your shoulder, you turn around and see it’s no one other then Fred "I um, I appreciate what you did on stage for me.. no one has ever done that kind of thing for me…” you looked down and twiddled with your thumb in your pocket, Fred’s finger lifted your chin up and was made to look at him “you’re cute when you’re shy” your lips trembled as you got flustered and didn’t know what to say "I was thinking, we could ditch this place and you could come over to my place instead” he was bold! Okay. I thought your request was pretty funny, I admit, but then I got carried away... I don't do that in a very very long time so *clears throat* On a very rare occasion, Josef decides to go to the beach but before he leaves the new house he has rented, something inside him tells him to takes his camera. When he gets to the beach he was glad that the beach was completly empty, he finds a nice spot to put his towel and re-watch some of his new recordings. He rewind some scenes or slight cut others until something catch his attention, he lift his head. The day was sunny and the breeze perfect and the sea in front of him was just beautiful but there's something just off. as if there was a disturbance in the water, and with that just said Josef notice a black spot of something swimming inside the water, it was big and fast making circles near his eyesight and he got scared realising it was a sort of giant fish. Sharks around this area, how this is possible there's no type of creatures like this at least not where he is... Before he finish his thought that thing comes out of the water and walked towards him in a seductive way?! That thing was a mix of a person and... a Shark?! Josef frozes while it comes more and more close to him. The shark was muscular and big in all its glory, wearing a polka dot bikini and as soon as it stopped a few steps away from Josef it licked its mouth full of teeth lasciviously. it was such a absurd experience for him at same time fascinant and so withouth thinking he gives a bright smile for the Shark happy he record the whole thing.

I’m working on a three chapter fic set between s3 and s4 (which will divert a bit from canon) for a fic request and I hope/think it’ll turn out good but please don’t request anymore fics set between s3 and s4 or concerning the Byers move in some way because still nothing about how the Byers move and how they wrote it and depicted it makes sense at all so all my writing attempts about it end up making my head hurt trying to finagle any logic into the situation and/or having to just go la la la lets just ignore all the issues since canon did.

Support the BBC for having a trans character in recent episodes of 'Doctor Who'

Apparently the BBC (UK) has had 144 complaints about a recent episode of Doctor Who because it contained an openly trans character.

I've made a complaint to the BBC that there weren't enough transgender characters in Doctor Who. I would love if 144 other people did the same thing. Here's the link: https://www.bbc.co.uk/contact/complaints/make-a-complaint/#/Complaint

(For your easy reference: "The Star Beast" aired on 25/11/2023 on BBC One, and the trans character is called Rose.)

Edit: I'm told that you can fill in the form even if you're outside of the UK, because the BBC provide service to many countries other than the UK, including the USA! Go for it. :D

Edit again: I'm seeing some concerns in the replies/reblogs that the BBC might not distinguish between "less trans people, please" complaints and "more trans people, please" complaints. Rest assured, this is nothing to worry about - the BBC publish fortnightly complaint reports, and they do pay enough attention to know when a complaint is in favour of or against trans inclusion. In fact, their 20 November – 3 December 2023 report is where the various news articles are getting the 144 complaints figure; that report says there were precisely 144 complaints that they have categorised as "Anti-male / inappropriate inclusion of transgender character".

That means the next complaints fortnight window is 4 December - 17 December. We have 8 more days to beat 144. By my count, over Tumblr, WhatsApp, the Fediverse and Telegram, we have 85 so far, which is well over halfway there.

Also, when you've done it, please reply to confirm you have done it, so that I can count us!

We did it! I've just been counting up responses, and it looks like sometime yesterday evening we hit 144 complaints/comments in favour of Rose Noble and more excellent trans characters in Doctor Who! (We're actually up to 157 now, fantastic.)

So, my next plan is to submit a Freedom of Information Act request to the BBC sometime in the next few days, asking for complaints and compliments figures. Then I'd ideally (energy and time permitting) like to put together a press release that I can send out to the publications that promoted the tiny "144 anti-trans complaints" figure, showing them that there has been far more feedback in favour of trans representation than against.

I'll keep you posted.

f1gossip Carlos Sainz and Y/N L/N were spotted at dinner last night. The two enjoyed a meal before taking a stroll along the Monaco pier front where, as pictured, the pair were in high spirits. We're happy to see Y/N looking so happy following the revelation that her ex-boyfriend, and Carlos' current F1 teammate, had cheated on her. Synopsis ┊Your dorm is going under renovation and you need to find a place to crash in for a while. Luckily a certain someone offers you to stay in theirs for the time being.

Katsuki Bakugou

❥ By no means whatsoever does he offer his dorm out of the kindness of his heart. He just got pissed off of seeing you sleeping on the couch in the commons area every morning, and accidentally stepping on your blanket or pillows. After stepping on your blanket once more he grabs your shit and puts it in his dorm and acts like he's bothered by this but really he doesn't mind at all.

❥ Makes you sleep on the floor for the first two nights until you convince him to share the bed. He's reluctant at first but then allows it as long as you stay on your side of the bed. Do you really though?

❥ Expect to sleep earlier and get your sleep schedule in check because his dorm, his rules, lights are off at ten pm sharp with no exceptions.

❥ Also expect your grades to go up. While he's your roommate he's going to make you don't slack off on your studies.

❥ When he wakes up in the morning and notices your head resting on his chest he gets somewhat annoyed but secretly likes it. he's willing to get behind on his strict schedule and let you rest on him a little longer. but just a little.

❥ Demands you now be his training partner but is careful to not get carried away. You're strong, but he still doesn't want to run the risk of hurting you. therefore, he always keeps Aid kits in the bathroom just in case you do get any scratches, even if they're minor.

❥ Constantly threatening to kick you out over every little thing but actually has no intention of doing so. He won't admit it but he enjoys your company. "I swear if I see one more sock lying around I'm grabbing your shit and throwing it out."

Shoto Todoroki

❥ "Why don't you sleep with me." he said boldly unaware of how his sentence had more than one connotation to it. I mean you need help and as your friend he's more than willing to help you out. plus he has the biggest dorm compared to everyone else, if anything he's the most suitable to offer his help he thought.

❥ Asks you what temperature you prefer to sleep in so he can use his quirk to either make the room colder or warmer depending on your preference. and ALWAYS makes sure to make both sides of your pillows cold.

❥ When he's out visiting his mother you make sure the place is clean (though it usually is since he tends to be on the neater side) and prepare some soba for him as a token of your appreciation. After a couple of times he starts to look forward for it and got saddened the one day you forgot.

❥ In return he made sure not turn on the lights when getting ready in the morning as to not wake you up. Part of it was for a selfish reason though, he thought it was cute how you slept soundly on his bed.

❥ Speaking about sleep; During the night he would find himself cozying up next to you, not on purpose though. He just felt comfort in your presence and he realized you felt the same way when you also moved closer to him during the night.

❥ Leaves out coffee for you in the mornings since you tend to stay up late on nights and wake up always running late to your classes.

Izuku Midoriya

❥ Overheard you talking to Tsuyu and Uraraka about how you need a place to sleep in and walked over to offer his help without a second thought. You already spend most of your time in his dorm room during the day to share notes anyways. The only difference would just be you spending the night.

❥ Offers for you to sleep in his bed while he sleeps on the floor. After you refuse to let him sleep on the floor he shyly agrees to share the bed with you constantly asking you if you're okay with it.

❥ Midoriya stays up late at night writing in his notebook and murmuring thoughts to himself. You persuade him to go to bed and leave his worries for the following day. he deeply apologizes for the burden kind of embarrassed. "I-I'm sorry! was I keeping you up? I'll go to bed in a few minutes don't worry."

❥ Always invites you to go out with him whenever he leaves the dorm, even if it's something as simple as going to the gas station to get some snacks.

❥ he loves to talk your ear off geeking out about the knowledge he knows about the top heroes and their quirks. When he notices he got carried away he gets all types of flustered but even then he doesn't get the sense of being judged.

❥ Since he's constantly getting injured and going to see Recovery girl he always comes back exhausted. regardless, his stubborn ass still tries to go out on missions and push himself to the limits. he get's frustrated when you don't let him do so and force him to rest and leave his chores to you. But he loves you for it.
