Five months later and it's finally finished. I started this in the middle of a mental health crisis and it was an attempt to regain some control while my anxiety was running wild. Painting my problems etc etc. So enjoy this nonsensical personal piece <3 I'm a lot better now, and finishing this is a nice way to close this chapter, though I feel compelled to make a sequel of these two ladies exploring the forest and breaking their curse.

I really wanted to portray this tiresome vigilance that I was feeling at the time, always wary of a foe I couldn't see. And since I was dealing with a terrible art block I tried to comfort myself with elements that just tickles my brain. I'm happy to have this done and I can't wait to make more spooky personal art on the future.

The best fictional men are the ones who are outwardly kinda mean, feared by most, and very powerful, but are actually sad lil softies with tragic pasts who are desperately in need of a hug.

add in a scene where he's been strong and seemingly unbreakable the whole story, and then is for some reason caught in a vulnerable place by an antagonist, and the FMC has to save him somehow >>>

or a scene where he opens up to the FMC finally and explains his tragic backstory and she sits there quietly listening, wiping his tears or holding his hand >>>

Now, this is very, very childish, BUT! in the 3 weeks since I came back from America with a bottle gummy vitamins, I have taken my vitamins every single day. I cannot stress enough how unlikely an accomplishment this is. It’s very possible that my cumulative vitamin-taking days from the past year do not add up to 21.

I recognize that I am unusually bad at self-care and building healthy habits, but you know what turned out to be even stronger than that aversion? Having a mandate to eat candy in the morning! Every day!

If you also excel at punishing yourself by denying your body its necessary basic maintenance and upkeep, may I suggest: gummy vitamins!

I finally finished a drawing and honestly I am so proud of it, I've been giggling and clapping my hands everytime I look at it. Honestly that's what I've always done with any drawing I think I did a good job on, my ringmaster au looks so cute!

I'll probably do a little bit of my little ringmaster/circus world information thingy on here which I'm excited for!!
