- to wake people up to pain, to mental diseases, and to the beautiful, protective mother Earth that surrounds us in the ever-increasing depressed, violent, uncommunicative population -

- to reunite anyone with anything or anyone that was lost in some way.

Giving thanks. We can’t thank everyone enough for attending our OMSI Planetarium show on the 26th! THANK YOU!!!! We love you. It was the most special night Mondegreen could ask for. Thank you for supporting our performance. What a beautiful night, with a hundred beautiful folks. What an incredible full moon, the beginning of a galactic shift! We filmed it, and there should be at least a few live songs to share with you soon on our YT. 

As a side note: We were greeted by a tiny spirit that morning who was caught in his collar, barely seen under a bush. He thanked us for un-hooking him and helped unload our gear. Bowie was his name.

Art is communicated experience. And all great artists are linguists. We are experimenting more and more - with paints, with jokes, with our radiowaves.

| Then --- July 2018 |

Living along the mountainous, quiet, dirty, sandy grounds that spill into a grey Oregon coast sky for a year, we learned our parallels so shockingly. Loving someone and loving them while seeing their entire creative vortex without distraction is a distinct gift. We learned what anyone would learn in the middle of nowhere - unity is inside, but unity truly exists between one another. Life, as it is, is simple. It’s serious, and very much not. It’s painful, and insanely bountiful with love. It is absurd, nothing, and it is specialized, everything and perfect. We learned every single emotion down to the last and worst is 100% valid. We learned that our attitudes towards boundaries and types of support make us who we are and we must be sensitive to that. We meditated on how programmed we were and how programmed this shitty white-dominant society is. How temporary all attitudes, how here-and-gone all worries - the finite turn of the death cycle makes everything eager to be fun, cherished, loved, and valued.

Synchronicities ensure so much. The universe talks with signs, numbers, names, and nature - any time asked. Despite our financial independence, depression, and hardships we are very much two privileged people, and are extremely aware of it. We learned gratitude and beauty are all around us to grab, like salt to taste life- yet, just like all white people, we just don’t reach for it.

We are all magnetic light frequencies. We choose to discover what we are made of. Everyone has the potential to be highly connected to their subconscious to shift psychological damages. Dreams are objective subjectivity. The truth is in music, forgiveness, being honest, the eyes of puppies, and coincidences.

Jealousy and fidelity are the darkest paradoxes. Anger is needed to platform expression and eventual understanding/unity. Hydrate yourself, we are plants.

We learned to make music and life together 50/50. We spent days teaching each other production, feeling-time, lyrical gems, listening to each other deeply. A time in a small closet-like room across from a cemetery. While dead soldiers waited for deer to watch we listened to the latest mixes of demos below green smoke. Flipping through a thick pile of Post-it notes. Music in the morning, work, music and comedy at night. Making love. Talking for hours about the state of the world.

After a long stretch of: $10.00 bread loaves, geriatric, conservative interactions with the public working together at a dispensary, strange old men selling guinea pigs, sad people, letting a stray forest cat live in our hut, cold beaches, mushroom foraging, finding identity, and food poisoning, we were ready to move back to pdx.

We didn’t find a place when we moved back. We scrambled to release “Returnity” on January 23rd while living at a cat-sitting job. The cats were each 20 years old and their front door lock shattered into a million pieces on day one. It happened. It was released. We had nothing except those 12 tracks, 34 minutes. All doors open.

Cut to May - 5 months of questionable jobs, still no money, the album not even having a release show, and mania on the rise, we felt a shift. Somehow, we land cannabis jobs again - we save $500 each for a new place. Our landlord’s name ends up being Jimi Hendrix. And suddenly, we get a message to do a video that is steeped in Elliot Smith’s last project’s roots. 

“Magnetosphere” ‘s video is almost finished and we can’t wait to share with the world the work of John Clark and his vision for the song.
