head, heart, hand. {Oliver/Reader/Felix}
Tumblr media
It had been a long time since your world has revolved around anyone but Felix Catton. He was like that; undeniably, unassumingly magnetic. You'd watched countless fawning, fairweather friends drawn into his orbit, only to be cast out when he eventually got bored of them, but not you, never you. Maybe you were a toy in the beginning, the thing they'd all called you when they were feeling especially petty, but it became clear that Felix has wanted to keep you around.
You weren't a toy, you weren't family, you were a sharp and beautiful tool, too good, too useful to be put down. Your loyalty was rewarded with a life in his shape. Felix was like the sun, and you lived your life enjoying his warmth, and wanting to keep him shining.
And there's something about the way Oliver Quick thinks and talks that you almost recognise. The others call him a toy but the look in his eyes says he's capable of so much more than that. Oliver Quick is not one to be tossed aside either, and you'll do all you can to make Felix see that too.
The three of you; head, heart, hand.
Oliver thinks. Felix feels. You do.
Need to Know: established fwb!Felix/reader, there will be smut, Oliver is a weird obsessive perv and reader recognises and is pretty into it, obviously manipulation, AU with a happy poly ending

Hey I absolutely adore your Indian James headcanons can you do some for Harry too please <33
Okay this got too long so it's only Harry's first year at Hogwarts. At some point I might do the rest of his years but yeah. Here you go, i hope you like it :)
The first time Harry noticed his skin was darker than the people on Privet Drive was when he was four. The first time he noticed people sneered at him for it was when he was five and a half. He didn't understand it; why did they think the colour of his skin meant that he was inferior to them? He heard the words chee-chee and brownie thrown around like Dudley threw his food, and quietly pulled his shirt tighter around himself.
When Harry is eight, Dudley and his gang throw him in a ditch and throw dirt and soil on him till he's coughing and tears are running down his face. "You blend right into the mud," Piers laughs at him. The next day, the boy turns up to school with black skin. Harry sits in the corner and turns his face away, a secret grin playing on his lips.
He comes to Hogwarts, and there are so many colours. He is approached by Parvati on the second night, and she asks him if he's excited for Ganpati Chaturthi. He stares at her, and then says, "I'm sorry, but I don't know what that is." She gets offended, but they haltingly talk it out, awkward and stilted like most eleven year olds. When she realises that he's been kept from his heritage and his magic, she flies off the rails with anger. "That's it," she says, "we're friends now. No arguments."
Harry loves talking to Parvati. She's the one that tells him his father was from India. She's the one that tells him the names of his grandparents, that tells him of the importance of heritage in the magical world. They talk about religion and food and all sorts of things, and within two weeks Harry is asking her to teach him Marathi. It's hard at first; the grammar structure is more like French than English, the alphabet sequence is weird and complicated and has too many letters, but he keeps practising his svar and vyanjana and kana and matra. He will do this, he tells himself. (He doesn't tell Ron. He wants this for himself, he thinks. His family, his heritage. He wants to learn before he shares, and so he doesn't tell Ron. For now. He will, when he knows enough.)
Slowly, he starts talking to other Indian kids at Hogwarts. Padma, a seventh year Slytherin named Aarzoo who's Muslim and always has the prettiest hijabs, Gryffindor Kalyani from fourth year and Hufflepuff Rushabh from the third. Kalyani is from Maharashtra just like the Patil twins and Harry, Rushabh is from Gujarat and Aarzoo from Punjab. Harry finds it fascinating that India has so many different cultures and religions, and demands knowledge from them. Aarzoo laughs, and tells him he should have been with the 'Claws.
Harry disagrees. He was supposed to be in Slytherin, he knows, but he is in Gryffindor, where his family had been. His family had been Indian. He wants to know everything about it. If he couldn't have his parents, he would have that which had been a major part of his father's life. And so he reads and observes and studies and asks questions— hesitating at first in case they yell at him (Aunt Petunia hated questions and he feared these people would be the same), but slowly he asks more and more. He talks for hours with Kalyani and Rushabh, and they tell him about Garba and Dhol Tasha, Ganpati Chaturthi and Diwali, Eid and Gudi Padwa. They talk about the languages of India, and Harry immediately asks Aarzoo to teach him Urdu and Hindi. She laughs, and says he should focus on Marathi first. He pouts, but nods.
The Mirror of Erised shows him his father, and he can't take his eyes off. James Potter is a tall man, bulky frame covered in muscles and warm brown skin that seems to glow with happiness. His eyes are light brown, and the bold black lines drawn under them make the green specks stand out. He's dressed in what Harry knows is called a kurta, white and gold threads woven to form images of peacocks and elephants and other intricate designs. The next day, Harry asks Padma what she lines her eyes with, and she promptly hands him a little round metal box and a tiny wooden stick. "It's called kajal." She tells him the differences in pronunciation between Hindi and Marathi, and shows him how to apply it. Harry wears it everyday. It makes his eyes look bright, brighter than they already are, and he falls in love with it. Kalyani presses a kajal covered finger behind his ear every morning. "For good luck," she tells him, a grin playing on her pretty lips. Harry flushes, and smiles back shyly.
For Christmas, Aarzoo gives him perfume. It's chandan and mogra with hints of rose, she says, "and your grandfather made it. His name was Fleamont Henry Potter, and he was an exceptionally talented potioneer." Harry wears it religiously. Padma and Parvati band together and get him books on the Potter family and their historical importance, and he almost cries. Rushabh promises to teach him how to play Garba, and Kalyani gives him a cookbook for everyday Indian foods— breakfast and lunch and a few fancy stuff. Harry hugs it to his chest and thanks her with shining eyes. (he may have a bit of a crush on her. He can't help it— she's really smart, and she's pretty.)
Throughout the year, all of them work to introduce him to Indian food. At first, he thinks it will be easy. It is not. There is no such cuisine named Indian, Parvati tells him sternly. There is Punjabi, South Indian, Mughlai, Maharashtrian, North Indian, Bihari, Bengali and so many more. "The food in India changes with every twenty kilometres of travel," Aarzoo says when he mock complains about it. "It's never the same, and that's what makes it so special." He agrees.
The end of the year arrives, and Harry is still weak from his tryst down the trapdoor. When Ron and Hermione aren't present, his friends from home (because that's what India is, isn't it? His home. The home he never got to see, but is no less a part of him.) crowd around his hospital bed and have long talks with him, filled with banter and laughter. His Marathi is so much better now than it was in September, and he blushes when Kalyani compliments him on it. Rushabh winks at him, and Harry throws a pillow at him, feeling the blood rush to his cheeks at being caught out.
On the last day of school, he hugs Aarzoo around the waist and cries into her stomach. It's the first time he calls her "Aarzoo Tai", and she smiles widely, her own eyes dripping tears. "You will write," she says sternly, "okay? This might be the end of my Hogwarts years, but you are my little brother." He cries harder and nods, refuses to let go until the very last minute.
Harry goes back to Privet Drive with a heavy heart and a proud smile. He isn't inferior to the people there, he knows. He's special. He's Indian. He's James Potter's son, and he's going to live up to it.

What I disliked the most about this World Cup final was the crowd. There was no response, no cheers, no enthusiasm.
Team India lacked confidence yesterday right from the beginning, because they knew the pitch wasn't what they would've liked, but still they gave their best, and the least they deserved was and INDIAN crowd cheering for them.
I saw a video this morning of the crowd in Wankhede during the semi-final, poking fun at Surya when he was fielding at the boundary, asking him to bowl. It wasn't much, maybe even distracting him from his job for a moment but it made him smile. It made him realise people were confident enough in the team's abilities to joke during a tense moment in the game.
If you love cricket enough to go watch a match in a stadium, you'll know the confidence Bumrah gets when the crowd chants 'Boom Boom'. And that's what should have been done with each ball.
When you trust Siraj, Kuldeep and Shami's abilities enough, then cheer at each one of their balls. Even if they're lacking in confidence for a moment, let them know that the billion people who back them never doubted them.
The pitch wasn't the best for batting on, and yet Rohit, Virat and Rahul gave their best. It was slow, but they tried, and none of us watching the match could have done that. The crowd should have screamed even when they got a single or defended a tough ball, because they deserve to know how much we appreciate them for the joy they bring us.
Shubman, Shreyas and Jaddu weren't at their best with the bat, but they tried so hard with the fielding. Every time they dived for the ball, every time they stopped a single, they should have been cheered on.
Ishan, Shardul, Hardik, Prasidha and Ashwin didn't even play, but watching the crowd cheer on the team mates despite seeing the conditions would have made them happy, and their smiles would have made the eleven on the field believe in themselves more.
When Cummins had openly declared that he wanted to silence the crowd, then it was the responsibility of every single person in the crowd to fight his challenge. It was their job to stay until the last ball, to instill hope in our boys till the very end. Maybe it could have made our team more confident, and theirs a bit afraid. Maybe things would have been different right now.

7月24-25號: Hurricane days!!
Day 13:
So today we gained a new guest that will join us breifly on our trip, but make a huge impact. Typhoon Gaemi decided to waddle on through Taiwan. We are all safe and sound in our hotel but we will be staying here an extra day. I am not mad at it. I having an extra day in a hotel that is literally a hotspring. It is a pretty decent situation to be in. Although now we will miss a whole city that we were supposed to experience on this trip. But today I started off slow. I had breakfast and went on a run. It was so hot inside the hotel because they turned some of the power off. But I still ran on the treadmill and struggled to get to 3 miles. I ran at about a 8:15 pace which was pretty good because I haven't ran in a while. Then I thought I would go to the cold spring to cool down my muscles and help recovery like an icebath would, but the outside was closed so I could only go to the inside spring which was not as cold. Andy ended up joining me and we got to talk for a while, but then we both left.
I went out to try KFC in the rain and let me tell you, it was NOT worth it. India KFC is SO much better. After that all the boys met up and we played some cards together. It was so fun. Austin taught us a new game called Cambio. It's really fun and really competitive. After playing some cards, we all met up with the rest of the group and tried to go get mcdonalds for everyone. Me and the boys ended up walking almost a mile to arrive at mcdonalds and find out that it's closed. So we then walked back, and stopped by 7-eleven to pick up food for everyone. Then we all got to talk together and eat our food. After I finished my food, I left and went to bed. I felt like i really took care of myself and did something good for my body by running and then relaxing the rest of the day.
Day 14:
Today was another relaxing day where I really got to focus on myself and take care of myself in the morning. I woke up and had breakfast which consisted of the normal rice, pastries, watermelon, and braised beef. Then, after a bit, I thought it good to go down back to the springs and do some rehab. So, I did some exercises in the water for my leg and also stretched a lot. I am feeling somewhat better, but my knee is still injured. Very much debating on getting surgery when I get back to America. But after my PT session, I went with Austin, Jack, and Jacob to get our feet kissed. Pause. Feet kissed by fish of course. We got to experience a little bit of culture and stick our feet into a tub of fish that would eat the dead skin off of our feet. It was actually the funniest thing ever. We were all laughing so hard because it felt so weird and it tickled. There were SO many of the little fishies in there as well. Then we met back up with Andy after getting some more of our favorite snack/breakfast, Scallion Pancakes. They are DELICIOUS! After the pancakes, Austin found some poker chips so we could play poker. I was so excited! I love card games. Before poker we all went out for dinner which was pretty good. Then from about 9:30 to 12am we played poker and Cambio. It was a great night and a great day. The next thing to do on the list was pack for our long travel day for tommorow.
Until next time, 再見!

Tumblr media
Part 1:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Age: 12-20
Lives In: Liverpool, the West End of London (for a year when she was eleven)
Family: Unnamed father, Unnamed mother (passed), Erina Pendleton (younger sister), Jonathan Joestar (brother-in-law)
Love Interest/parings: Dio Brando, Speedwagon
Looks: Long, white hair (stops just above her tailbone), green eyes, pale skin, icy features, hair is always up unless with Dio in secret, wears a black, tight necklace with a silver pendant on it with Dio's initials engraved into it
Background and Other Facts:
Elise was born with golden blonde hair, the same as her sisters, until she fell through the ice into the lake behind her home, it turning pure white. It is a symbol of her willingness to do anything to survive in the face of death.
After her near-death experience, she grew an interest in the occult hoping, in the back of her mind, she could find a way to stop death from claiming her soul
Always trying to find someone strong and powerful to protect her and keep her from getting killed. Gets anxious when away from this person and will do most anything to get back to them
Elise and Erina used to be best friends but after Elise's near-death experience, Erina believes with her whole heart a wrathful, hellish creature crawled out of the ice and replaced her once beloved sister
Elise goes to live with her aunt in the West End of London to learn piano and the arts so that she can also be near to Speedwagon, who had become her savior at the time and best friend until Dio came along a year later
Elise does not go to India with Erina and their father, instead going back to live with her aunt in London so that she can stay near Dio.
Once Dio finds out she has an aunt in London as well as friends with a street thug, he employs her to start going to get the poison he uses on George Joestar
Dio also has her kill Jonathan's dog because, at that time, he has that much control over her
Elise killed the dog but is guilt-stricken afterward. She hardly speaks and pays Dio and mind which enrages him. Dio, instead of losing his temper, goes and gets her a necklace with his initials engraved into
Dio uses the mask on her first to see if it truly works as it did earlier, turning her into a vampire
Elise helps heal Dio and is lacky until Jonathan and the rest defeat him
After Dio's "death" by fire, she has nowhere to go. Speedwagon, still somehow seeing the girl he once knew in her eyes, took her with him and found a place for her to stay during the day (this is unknown to Jonathan and Erina, who believes she died in the fire)
Tumblr media
Part 1.5:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Age: 21-70
Lives In: New York
Family: Erina Pendleton (younger sister), Jonathan Joestar (brother-in-law), Joseph Joestar (grandnephew)
Career: line of high-end hotels all over the globe called "The Nightshade"
Love Interest/pairings: Dio Brando, Speedwagon
Looks: Long, white hair (stops just above her tailbone), wears her hair down, green eyes, pale skin, icy features, tight necklace with a silver pendant on it with Dio's initials engraved into it
Background and Other Facts:
Erina still believes Elise is dead at this point
Elise and Speedwagon travel to America together. She follows him wherever he goes because he is now her only protector and friend.
When they get a small home together using the little bit of money her aunt gave her.
When Speedwagon discovers oil, he moves them into a larger home in the outskirts of New York
She struggles a lot with what she has done in the past, finding her days sleepless and her nights spent doing as much as she can to keep her mind busy.
She hates the creature she has become and only ever feeds when Speedwagon is away
Elise tends to keep quiet and when she talks, it's snippy and comes off as rude. The only person who has been giving her "kind side" is Speedwagon.
She can still feel Dio is alive and keeps it to herself. It's part of the reason she stays quiet. She understands now just how cruel Dio was to her and others and wishes to never be under his control. Her blind, youthful love for him has turned into fear because she still loves him and is scared she would go back to old ways if she ever went looking for him.
Speedwagon tries to get Elise to go meet with Erina but Elise refuses because she knows Erina hates her
Speedwagon worries Elise will leave him because he is growing too old as time goes on and Elise worries he is going to leave her because she never ages.
Speedwagon wants to marry Elise but Elise keeps deflecting his attempts to talk about such things because she sees herself as unlovable and a monster
Around the time Joseph Joestar is 4ish, he and Erina come to visit Speedwagon in America. Joseph is off exploring the home and stumbled upon Elise playing piano in her room. Before she can grow angered, she sees his eyes, which look just like Erina's, and instead develops a soft spot for him.
Erina eventually finds out about Elise after Joseph keeps talking about a white-haired woman
At some point, Elise opens her hotel so she has something to do at night
She goes with Speedwagon on his travels when she can, but due to her only being about to walk around at night, she can't go very offen

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Age: 70-72
Lives In: New York
Family: Erina Pendleton (younger sister), Jonathan Joestar (brother-in-law), Joseph Joestar (grandnephew)

Last Half: white hair (stops just an inch below her ears), green eyes, decked out in gold, wears a small, deep purple outfit, fresh sharp that runs across her face
Background and Other Facts:
Strazio comes and finds Elise at one of the hotels she is running after throwing Speedwagon in the river in Mexico and becoming a vampire. He wants her on his side in taking out the remaining Joestars but tells her he will kill her if she doesn't.
Elise doesn't want to die so she agrees and goes with him to New York, but as soon as they find Joseph, she turns on him because she cannot harm Joseph
She cannot go to Mexico with Joseph because she can't be in the sunlight so she spends her time with Erina
Speedwagon brings her to Rome in hopes she can help with the pillar man.
When the pillar man awakes, Elise is quick to find someplace to keep Speedwagon safe before she is noticed by them. She is quite to revert to her submissive and servant-like ways and the pillar man takes her with them to tell them of what has happened in the world and as a sort of "pet".
When Joseph and the others come to the abandoned hotel the pillar man are staying in Switzerland, she tries to kill Kars in hopes to keep Joseph from harm, but he is quick to stop her. Instead of killing her, he cuts her hair and her face in a way of punishment because he knows she holds her beauty in high regard. He promises she will watch Joseph die. Then Speedwagon, who he saw her hid in the cave, and every other person she holds dear. He won't kill her unless she tries to stop him again or disobeys.
She becomes a husk of herself, doing everything and anything he tells her. Even when Speedwagon and Stroheim, she stays where she was told until Speedwagon all but drags her to safety.
After everything happens, she goes back with Speedwagon and they get married.
Tumblr media
Part 2.5 & 3:
Warnings: slight spoilers for part 4 in regards to Stands
A/N: this section is probably wants going to get changed the most cause I'm not sure how I want it to go till I get to it more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Name: Elise Pendleton-Speedwagon
Age: 73-122
Family: Robert E.O. Speedwagon (husband), Erina Pendleton (younger sister), Jonathan Joestar (brother-in-law), Joseph Joestar (grandnephew), Holy Kujo (great-grandniece), Jotaro Kujo (great-great grandnephew), Eloise Joestar (daughter)
Career: line of high-end hotels all over the globe called "The Nightshade"; a nightclub named "Night Walker"
Love Interest/parings: Dio Brando, Speedwagon
Looks: White hair that is cut just above her shoulders, green eyes, scar that runs across her face, with DIO she wear what he wants her to wear, when away from him, she wears more covering clothes
Stand: Wailing Five
Arrow made Stand
Tator Card: Five of Cups
Tator Represents: regret, failure, disappointment, personal setbacks, self-forgiveness, moving on
Looks Version One: humanoid figure with gray coloring. Its eyes are sallow pits that have water-fall-like tears flowing over its cheeks and down its neck, disappearing beneath the collar of its black cloak. The hood of the cloak covers the Stand's head and the cloak covers its body, keeping it from sight/protection. Stands mouth is always in a deep, cutting frown.
Looks Version Two: Its gray skin is now white. Its eyes are downward-facing black crescent moons. Its cloak has melded into the stands white skin to create a shot of "armor". Slim build, frail-like.
Abilities: Not best for hand-to-hand combat, but slim build makes it quick and agile. It can wail at different octaves. Loud octaves can knock enemies off their feet, and destroy builds/things. Octaves can be sharpened to be more precise. Low and directed octaves can make it seem like it might be in an opponent's head. These octaves can damage an enemy's hearing/brain. Cloak can be used as a shield for itself and others. The cloak flaps can be sharpened and used as a sword-like weapon. Version #2 can still pull the cloak from its skin, to create shields and now various types of bladed weapons. Wailing Five's tears can be transferred to the opponent's eyes, pulling water from the enemy until they are dehydrated. Version Two doesn't have these tears but can begin to cry and have the same effect on opponents.
Background and Other Facts:
In 1942, Joseph wanted Elise and Speedwagon to meet Holy.
In 1950, Elise and Erina make peace before Erina dies.
In 1952, Speedwagon dies and Elise sticks around Joseph and his family for a while, helping out where she can.
Around this time Elise opens a nightclub so that she has more to do to keep her mind off the things that happened in her life. It doesn't help and her mental health continues to decline.
In 1983, DIO is pulled from the sea and Elise knows she is going to find him. Before she does, she goes and visits Joseph one last time and warns him of the danger DIO will bring. She promises he will come to kill him and his family when he grows strong enough. Joseph tries to get her to help him but she is tired of fighting.
Elise finds DIO and follows him around, doing as he asks.
Around 1985ish, DIO get the bow and arrow and uses it on Elise to test it out before using it on himself.
She gets her Stand, Wailing Five, and begins to learn what it is capable of whenever DIO is away
DIO keeps The World's abilities a secret from her so she has no idea what his abilities are
Elise sneaks out when the Stardust Crusaders get to Egypt and begs them, mainly Joseph, to turn back but they refuse (obviously).
(I'm not sure how I want her story to fully end so more to come here)

The Family That Killed Themselves: Inside the Burari Deaths
Tumblr media
The Burari deaths were a ritual mass suicide of eleven family members of the Chundawat family from Burari, Delhi, India, in 2018. Ten people were found hanged, while the oldest family member, the grandmother, was strangled. The bodies were found on 1 July 2018, in the early morning after the death. The police have ruled the deaths were motivated by shared delusion or psychosis.
The family lived in a two-story house in Burari, a neighborhood in North Delhi. The family was led by patriarch Bhuvnesh, a retired businessman. His wife, Savita, was a homemaker. They had two sons, Lalit and Bhavnesh, and two daughters, Pratibha and Priyanka. Lalit and Bhavnesh were both married and had children of their own.
The family was considered to be well-to-do and had no known financial problems. They were also religious and regularly attended the local temple.
On the night of June 30, 2018, the family gathered in the courtyard of their house. They were all found dead the next morning. The ten people who were hanged were found in a circle, blindfolded and their mouths taped. The grandmother, Narayani Devi, was found strangled in another room.
A post-mortem examination revealed that all of the victims had died of asphyxiation. The police investigation found no evidence of foul play. They concluded that the deaths were a case of mass suicide motivated by a shared delusion.
The police believe that Lalit was the mastermind behind the suicides. They found a handwritten note in his handwriting that described a ritual that the family was supposed to follow in order to ward off evil spirits. The note also mentioned that the family would be reborn into a better life.
The police believe that Lalit was suffering from a mental illness and that he convinced the rest of the family to commit suicide. They also believe that the family was influenced by a tantric cult.
The Burari deaths shocked India and the world. They raised questions about mental health, religious extremism, and the dangers of blind faith. The case remains a mystery, and there is still much that we do not know about what happened that night in Burari.
In the aftermath of the deaths, the Chundawat family has been ostracized by their community. They have been shunned by friends and neighbors, and their children have been bullied at school. The family is still struggling to cope with the tragedy, and they are seeking justice for their loved ones.
The Burari deaths are a reminder of the dangers of mental illness and the importance of seeking help if you are struggling. They are also a reminder that we should be careful about the beliefs that we follow, and that we should not blindly trust anyone.

The Allure of Cricket: A Worldwide Sporting Phenomenon
Introduction
Cricket is a team sport that originated in England and has gained immense global popularity. It involves two teams, each consisting of eleven players, taking turns to bat and field. The team batting tries to score runs by hitting the ball and running between wickets, while the team fielding aims to dismiss the batsmen and limit their runs.
The game is typically played between two teams, each consisting of 11 players. The objective is for one team to score more runs than the other. Runs are earned by the batsmen, who try to hit the ball bowled by the opposing team's bowler and run between wickets. The fielding team's goal is to dismiss the batsmen by getting them out in various ways, such as catching the ball or hitting the stumps with the ball. Cricket matches can last from a few hours to five days, depending on the format.
Tumblr media
Cricket is played in various formats, including Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs), and Twenty20 (T20) matches. Test matches are played over several days, emphasizing endurance and strategy. ODIs are limited to 50 overs per side, and T20 matches are even shorter, with each team facing just 20 overs.
Cricket's popularity spans across continents, with strong followings in countries like India, Australia, England, Pakistan, South Africa, and the West Indies, among others. Major tournaments like the Cricket World Cup, held for both ODIs and T20s, capture global attention. The sport has a massive fan base, and international matches draw large audiences both at stadiums and through broadcasting. Cricket players become iconic figures, and the sport holds a significant place in the cultural fabric of many nations.

 17/01/23 AW
The feeling to be cut off any contacts in this 13 hour flight watching 3 movies while flying over the taklamakan desert with no lights on the ground that is earth, just the stars reflecting over the roof of the plane gives me the feeling of a paper blank self in space oddity, a reset button of identity while this horny french guy with man bun next to me make a huge effort to organize me a banana from the stuff because I told him I don’t eat dough
I watched
10 things I hate about you:
5 stars for a teenage romance it’s so vulgar and dirty and gives me Australia vibes not the typical west coast problems
Walk the line (Jonny cash biopic):
had to watch it in German so 4 stars for cheesiness but I cried a river over the we love us but we can’t be together drama with June Carter and drug addict cowboy vibes always breaks my tears
Involuntary (de offrviliga):
beautiful long-lasting pictures in classic Swedish melancholia but many moments that make you so uncountable you wanna quit the movie, which is I suppose a good sign.
Two nights before I left on this trip to Thailand that was originally booked to be a Fantasy of a honeymoon with my very toxic ex boyfriend who left everything behind him to find “himself” in India, I hosted a dinner at my place in Hamburg and rediscovered the calming meditation of preparing a dinner alone, listening to music like my dad always did when I saw him the happiest. The difference is I don’t drink one or two bottle of red wine to it.
The 4th year in a row I am doing the sober january that I always broke on my best friends birthday on the 22. It makes one feel so superior to realize that you actually NOT need it.
The guy in front of me watches oceans eleven, maybe I am Going to follow him with that. The good old classic actors gathered in the romantic vision of Las Vegas  - my mom always used to call them by their surnames - George— Brad—Al—Julia - like they are her colleges because she’s an actress too. A great genre of cinema that got replaced by cheap ass Netflix production with the worst stage and costume designs like the fucking Glas onion where poor Edward Norton plays a pale shadow of this old glory
Back to the dinner - I served my group of friends my dads Safran risotto recepie with glossy oven karrots
I check the maps on the board computer in the moment we are flying over India and my stomach cramps together thinking at this person I loved may be 41111 ft beneath me somewhere in a tuk tuk on shrooms.
Besides that very neutral feelings to anything up here.
But fly ahead with 959 km/h direction Hong Kong First Time for my beautiful feet to step on Chinese ground
In front of me a group of sprayer boys like I used to date, now they seem like minions to me - north face arcteryx Nike, no skin care routine and  I can see the unwashed bedsheets in front of my inner eye.

"Sometimes I long for India. I feel like things were easier back there." Although no one pressured her to marry after her failed season, Edwina still felt it. "Go back to the lightheartedness of childhood."
" it must be difficult, being so far away. " alyssa’s response was soft as her hand moved to take her friend’s. her gaze not quite meeting @mysterycflife’s own. " you must miss it terribly… "
aly can’t relate in the exact same way, but she does know the feeling.. wanting to go back to easier times, to a life less complicated. she didn’t have much of a childhood- at least not until she’d come into gideon’s care. her father was a strict man, a cruel one. he pushed her to fit into an image he’d created, though he would constantly remind her that she would never be what he wanted. he’d wanted a son.. a child that could do something for him. instead he’d gotten a daughter. a waste of space. a disappointment. her saving grace had come in the form of a reclusive lord stepping into her life. he’d saved it, actually. she’d never go into details about what had happened in her old home, too worried that the reputation of herself and her guardian might be tarnished. instead she counted her blessings. gideon found her at eleven, and then spencer was introduced to her not long after.
those were the days she longed for. when it was the two of them running around the house, playing and laughing. him coming home from university only to curl up in her bed to read to her. to teach her everything he’d learned. the two of them understood each other.. like none had ever done before. they were made for each other, the staff would joke constantly. but alyssa believed it was true.
" what was your childhood like, edwina? "
