Good dye young poser paste
Tumblr media
#Good dye young poser paste skin#
#Good dye young poser paste series#
Similar to previous games in the series, players participate in go-kart racing on various Mario-themed tracks, playing as one of seventeen different Mario characters. It was developed by Nintendo EAD and Retro Studios and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS.
#Good dye young poser paste series#
It is the seventh major installment in the Mario Kart series and the third to be released for handheld consoles. Poser Paste is a fun short- term hair dye, but may not be the best choice if long- term color or natural feeling hair is desired.Mario Kart 7 is a 2011 racing video game. However, b ending the rules a little bit such as maybe applying it to damp hair instead of dry hair might have a better outcome.
#Good dye young poser paste skin#
Poser Paste because is a fun concept and has nice colors that compliment any skin tone. However, this quality is not great for natural hair. It is important to note that Poser Paste contains more than one type of alcohol and that made the hair extremely dry which explains the ability to dry fast. I t ended up looking like a pale green instead and a t this point disappointment set in. Since the paste is no t exactly buildable, it was hard to get as much of the product on the rest of the hair without going over the same strand more than once. As the product was applied, it began flaking off. Taking the time to build the color on to the hair, it was soon discovered that it dries quick ly. Taking the hair section by section, it is best to work with small amounts of the product, bu t the desired look was an intense teal color. It was n o t as buildable as advertised and it soon became a mistake to apply all over the hair. The smooth texture made it easy to rub the product in to the hair. Bergamot and Sweet Orange Essential Oils are infused into this product so it can benefit all hair types. Poser Paste has the same consistency as play-doh but with a touch of oil. W atching the transformation happe n without having to wait a certain amount of time is a cool concept. Starting with the application process it was easy and fun. Unboxing the product, t he paste had a strong smell that was worrisome and a color darker than the color on the box. Poser Paste comes in eight vibrant colors. The GDY Poser Paste seemed like the best option since it is advertised as hair color without the commitment. Semi – permanent dye and hair makeup come in a variety of colors. GDY offers two types of fun ways to dye hair, semi-permanent hair dye and hair makeup (also known as hair wax) and a few hair care products. Hayley has always been known for her vibrant hair and spreading the message to always be true to oneself. GDY celebrates a three year anniversary this March, but is just now making a way to shelves in select Sephora locations and Sally Beauty Supply stores. G D Y is a collection of bright and vivid colors created in collaboration with Hayley’s longtime makeup artist and stylist Brian O’ Connor. Hayley Williams from the band Paramore created Good Dye Young, a line of hair dye for all hair types. T he possibilities are endless now between hair color that is safe for natural hair and wigs that come in vivid colors. Growing up in the scene kid era kids would color their hair whatever color of the rainbow or the entire rainbow if they wanted to. Hair is a form of self-expression and is a great accessory to any outfit.

Early stages.
All students were tasked with field research to accomplish. Meaning images of packaging with an open mind.
Having a girlfriend is great, but unfortunately one thing I have to put up with is the occasional, if not semi-regular trip to Sephora and mecca (girly makeup retailers). I found that these trips that would usually be boring and perhaps uncomfortable as I don’t particularly fit the beauty demographic, but I found it was a great place to research and gather information on how small premium products are packaged.
I thought to myself how do these company’s get away with pricing stuff like “beauty spray elixir” so high. Perhaps the packaging (unboxing styles, format, composition, quality, materials) plays a role.
These are just a range of items that caught my eye, however I descovered more later down the line.

$10 Subscription Unboxing: Ipsy v. Sephora Play
By Danyelle
Of all the mail that gets shoved into your mailbox, nothing compares to your subscription service finally getting in! Push past the bills, the junkmail, the wedding invites, and get right to the goods! Today we unbox two $10 beauty subscription services: Ipsy and Play! by Sephora.
Ipsy
Ipsy is subscription service created by Michelle Phan, the woman who played a major role in how beauty marketing works today. For $10 a month, subscribers of Ipsy receive 4-5 deluxe size sample products that range from lip balms to body scrubs and everywhere in between. The products featured are from brands you'd find at your local drugstore, higher end products, and even indie lines. The products are all packaged in a cute unique pouch that coordinates with a theme of the month. While you cannot explicitly customize what will be featured in your bag, Ipsy does take into account your preferences from information obtained through a quiz taken when you initially subscribe to their service.
This Gudetama themed bag included 2 skincare type items. The Tarte Rain Forest of the Sea Deep Dive Cleansing Gel and the Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet. I appreciate that the skincare was so well balanced. Having a cleanser and moisturizer featured in the same bag shows that the curator really thought of the beauty process in terms of skincare.
The remaining beauty products featured can give any Ipsy subscriber what they may need to be ready and out the door. Concealer, liner, highlight (brush). In the bag there was a Concealer Crayon from TreStique and a Wonderwand Gel-khol Eyeliner by Ciate London. The Illuminator brush is by Beau Gachis Cosmetics which is a full size brush and valued at $9.95.
Play! by Sephora
Each Play! by Sephora subscriber receives 5 sample products and a fragrance sample.
This box included care items that serve as protective and restorative treatments from all the fun things of summer. Diving in the pool is fun. What it does to your hair and skin is not. There was a hair mask from Madam C.J. Walker. The Beauty Culture Dream Come True Wonderful Pre-Wash Protein Treatment is great to restore life to your hair throughout the summer. TTThe Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Bouncy Hydrating Gel can be helpful for after-sun care. Finally, the Ren Evercalm Global Protection Day Cream which smells like heaven!
The fragranced featured was Mon by Guerlain. It has a warm smell that is perfect for the "Glamp" theme. The Clinique Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm is an easy throw-it-on lip product. The It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Volumizing Mascara makes your lashes very fluttery. However, I thought it was kind of an out of place item. It just really didn't make sense in this bag. I read up on the product on Sephora's product web page. It describes the mascara "like skin care for your lashes."
Who do you think had a better bag? Ipsy or Play! by Sephora?

MAIL TIME!!! 📨📮📫📦 It’s been a while since I did a Mail Time post. The photos must’ve been lost among the thousands of photos in my iPad. 😅 Anyway, this post is gonna be a short one, I don’t want to get in the details of things because I might end up doing a full length review of the products. So I’ll keep it short. So moving on…this is a package I received last November. It’s the last three…

Actually getting to one of my boxes in the month it came in! Boxycharm this month has been a bit of an emotional rollercoaster. ColourPop! So exciting! Wait, tarte? Ug. I want that palette! Not the one I got? Um...okay? In this regard, I'm finding Boxycharm much like any other sub box: it will have its hits (ColourPop palette) and misses (last month's Bellapierre mascara). Also, like other boxes, it seems to have its go to brands (Cover FX, Dr. Brandt, Pru, Pretty Vulgar), if next month's spoilers are any indication.
So in this month's box: ColourPop Semi-Precious Palette ($26), The Browgal Insta-Tint Brow Gel ($22), Adesse Hi Definition Liquid Lipstick ($24), Dr. Brandt pores no more Vacuum Cleaner pore purifying mask ($42), and tarte tartiest pro glow liquid highlighter ($29). Total Value: $143. But let's get one of them out of the way now: I won't be reviewing the tarte for a couple reasons: 1. It's tarte and I'm still not supporting tarte (you know the foundation that caused such an uproar? They still haven't expanded beyond 20 shades for each line. Yea, they were soooo apologetic over all that...not); and 2. It's a liquid highlighter, which I won't use. I am very much a powder girl where I can be. So the tarte's future is in a giveaway for the YT channel.
The rest, however, is ready for review, so let's get to it!
ColourPop Semi-Precious Palette  :: So, I wanted the My Little Pony palette, but after trying this, I'm not mad at it. The shadows are creamy with no kickback and very little, if any, fallout. They are blendable, play well with others, and are amazingly pigmented. I am in love and very happy with it.
The BrowGal Instatint Brow Gel :: I like the brush on this, but the color is almost non-existent. The gel is stiffer than either the Nyx Control Freak or tarte, but it's not a stiff, plastering gel, so it works. I'm using this mostly to clean up my brows after I apply foundation, and to get gel in the brows. After that, I need to use a pencil to fill in and define. I like it, but not sure I'd purchase it at the price it's listed at, especially since the Nyx and a pencil gives me the same look for less. I am glad that I didn't get the blonde color though.
Adesse Hi Definition Liquid Lipstick :: The color I received is way too nude on me. I mean, my lips literally disappear on my face. It does play well with other lip formulas, is smooth and creamy and pigmented, but I really don't like the doe foot—it's too big and too loos, both which make it harder to control the application. Still haven't decided if I'm keeping this or giving it to one of my girls. Probably the latter.
Dr. Brandt pores no more Vacuum Cleaner pore purifying mask :: This thick cream with blue specks spreads easily, and cools and tingles as it dries down. That cooling sensation continues after it's rinsed off too. Radiance pad came up slightly discolored, but I'm wondering if that's from the clean up the mask did: my pores did not look smaller, but they did look cleaned out. My skin felt amazing in the morning, and everything from moisturizer to foundation applied easier, and my skin just felt better. I really wish this wasn't so expensive because it's an amazing mask.
Overall, domy tried this and is VERY pleased. I'm really enjoying Boxy so far.
There's another shuffle of boxes coming up. I've dropped Lola—over the long haul, half or more was being given away. For any box, I should be keeping more than half or it's not the right fit for me. Besides, there was that whole incident of a "possible" spoiler that ended up not being in the box. That kind of tease doesn't sit well for me. I've also dropped Sephora Play for the time being. There's another box I've wanted, the CurlBox, and my boxes are already too expensive, and we started picking up a Loot Crate and a Loot Wear sub for the hubs, so the $10 for Play is now going into CurlBox (because, yes, I got it! So excited!). And, no, I won't be reviewing the Loots here; that's not something hubs will be into (but we will put his Crate unboxings on the channel). If I did take up another box, I'd consider going back to Glossybox. Or maybe trying something new. Yea, I don't think I'd mind something new some time in the future.

For some reason, I’m finding it really difficult to motivate myself to write these blog posts. Maybe it’s because I’m a bit anxious to get to the gym today (I’m waiting for FedEx to come pick up a package… should’ve been here an hour ago). I’m also having a hard time focusing on studying (reviewing oxygen containing reactions… you know, chemistry).
Anyway, let’s get into this month’s Sephora Play! sub:
This month, I received:
It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara. I understand why these are included in boxes. I do. I’m not angry; I’m just uninspired. I know many who love this formula, but for me, if it isn’t waterproof, it’s not a mascara I will (ever) use. To a friend this one goes. Deluxe sample size; size not listed on packaging. Retail value: ~$12? (based on travel size)
BareMinerals GenNude Matte Liquid Lip Color in Swag. This is actually a product I’ve been wanting to try and perhaps the only item I’m truly excited for, as it’s one of the few new lipsticks in this brand’s line that doesn’t have shea butter. It’s going into my rewards system, but I did swatch it, and I think it might end up being a really nice color on me. Bonus: it smells like vanilla frosting. Deluxe sample size; 2ml. Retail value: $9.38
Briogeo Rosarco Milk Conditioning Spray. I’ve actually had this exact sample before, twice. One bottle is almost finished and another one is still unopened. I like it, and I was using it a lot in rotation with a few other sprays when my hair was bleached. Now, though, I don’t need a spray like this. Deluxe sample; 22ml. Retail value: $2.99
Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding. I’m on the fence about this one at the moment; I’m not sure if I should try it or give it away. There’s nothing in it that I know my skin can’t handle, but I don’t know if it’ll be too stripping for my skin. It’ll probably go to the rewards program tbh. Deluxe sample; 25ml. Retail value: $11.18
Milk Cooling Water. I’m honestly intrigued by this. It smells a bit funny, but I am very interested in trying it out, so it’ll go into the rewards program too. Deluxe sample; 3ml. Retail value: $2.12
Atelier Cologne in Orange Sanguine. I actually own a 4ml travel spray of this and I never use it. It’s not a bad smell, and it’s not overly manly, it’s just not my favorite. Sample vial; ~$1.30 (based on large size).
Overall: Retail value: $38.97. I think most of the time with sample boxes, I end up feeling very ambivalent. I’m interested in some of these products, but I’m not really inspired by them; curious, but not enthralled. Many of these products also just don’t have the sample sizes that really make this value seem “all there,” you know? I think, for the price I paid, I’m getting my value, but I’m not jumping because of the “deal.”

Tumblr media
From 2015-2018, I loved writing about the parts of DC that didn’t show up in my stories each evening, hopefully it helped you to get to know me better and get a fresh perspective on this highly partisan town.
Three years later, and there is nothing like an evening in Georgetown to inspire me to write again.
I don’t know if it is because I don’t get there often enough, or maybe because it just felt like I was traveling alone again, but something about tonight just made me want to get BACK into the BLOG.
So, thanks for indulging me Tumblr. (Do people even use this anymore!? No offense Tumblr.)
Anyways back to tonight’s story. I was heading over to Georgetown for a meeting with a friend who works in the industry. First off, I discovered a whole new bus route to get me to G-town. Two years after living here and finding a new bus route- is bliss in itself.
I was 30 minutes early so I decided to walk up and down Wisconsin avenue. The temperate was perfect. The first thing that came to mind was - “it was the perfect date. Not too hot not to cold you just need a light jacket.” (or in my case a sweater). (Miss Congeniality reference).
I wandered into stores, soaked up the music playing on the street corner, called my Mom to check in, walked in and out of Sephora because I just wanted to be outside again. Then I walked back up the Wisconsin Ave hill past a lovely little antique shop. I was a goner.
I was welcomed in by two men arguing I think over the cost of an order. The room was PACKED full of incredibly ornate statues scattered around massive paintings piled on top of one another because there was no more room for them to fit as countless chandeliers floated above the crowded floor.
The two men arguing joked with me that I just missed the sale outside, “50% off,” they said. Now it is “50% added on” if it came back inside. They were funny. I immediately liked them.
The one man went on his way. I was about to leave but I had some time to kill still before dinner so I hung around. I decided to ask the owner, “what in here is your favorite item? What in here has the most unique story? Anyone famous have this in the past?”
It turned out to be the perfect question to ask the man who I learned later is called Peter, from a box with his name on it.
Peter began to tell me about the statue in the front of the room, a statue you would see as soon as you enter, but almost miss it if you weren’t really looking for it because so much is happening around it.
He explained that it was a woman holding a love potion -- a goddess of young love. Which was funny because I have been thinking a lot about love lately. So I was intrigued immediately.
He says the potion makes whoever the person wants to fall in love with them, happen. But if that person - as Peter said- “pardon my French, fucks them over,” then the Goddess becomes vengeful.
He started telling me the story of how he first saw this statue. Get this, he saw it DECADES ago when he was a student in New York City. He saw it in the window of a gallery. Now that same statue sits in his gallery. God, I love stories with strangers. YOU NEVER know what you will hear.
He began telling me the story of how it came to be in his possession when a delivery came.
He started telling me how he ordered a painting online and that must have been it. I helped bring it over to him as he sat in his chair. And he said here sit with me and open this it will be like Christmas.
I just thought well here I am sitting on the floor of this strangers antique shop helping him open an expensive painting and I thought this is awesome. I love random moments like this. It is the beauty of human existence.
So we started opening the box and he started talking about how he hates online shopping and how he never does it. He says it is so impersonal. Like online dating he says. He says finding a date is like finding a painting you need to see it in person. I whole heartedly agreed.
He paused for a moment and said let me see your hand. I turned it over confused by what he was looking for. And he said, oh good you have a long life line. I never even looked at my lifeline before! But good to know.
He then continued with his dating/painting theory and shared a story of a woman who walked into his gallery years ago. He heard her British accent and lower voice and immediately felt attracted before he even turned around, he said. She bought something and I thought he was going to say they never spoke again. Turns out they’re still together and have one child and one on the way.
During all of this we were still unboxing the painting. He said again how it was like Christmas. I said “I love Christmas.” And he said, “you look like you love “Christmas.” I swear it was the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me.
We got the painting open and it was the most majestic photo of a large ship with its sails in full taking on the wind in the sea. I wish I could have purchased it then and there.
I had to check the time and it was 6:36. I was now late for my evening plans.
I had to rush off but thanked him for such a lovely visit. We both grabbed our cards and he said to come back. I could have listened to his stories for so much longer- and hoped we’d have the chance again to meet one day.
But the moment stuck with me. Or the experience rather. It reminded me how much people make me feel alive. How small little experiences add up to bigger moments. How inside this room full of treasures and memories- I made my own with a stranger named Peter. I think we all need those reminders of how simple life can be, and how precious.
I am glad to know, thanks to the help of Peter for checking it, that I have a long life line ahead to enjoy many more of these moments. And I hope you get the same.
Welcome back to the blog, here’s to many more stories like this in the year ahead.

Strategic Ways to Improve your E-commerce Store’s Performance
Tumblr media
Striving to become “the most customer-centric company on Earth,” Amazon has set the bar high for smaller e-commerce brands.
Today, shoppers expect online retail brands to provide exceptional customer service, create amazing content, and understand their specific needs and preferences. They are even ready to pay more for relevant deals and products.
So, apart from competitive prices, what techniques should you use to improve your e-commerce store’s performance?
Keep your Site Easily Navigable
Many customers will abandon your website if it is difficult to navigate through. To avoid that, ensure your visitors can find the right products and purchase them effortlessly.
Start by optimizing your navigation menu. Reduce the number of categories and subcategories. Instead of traditional drop-down menus, consider using hamburger navigation bars that will save you lots of space. They bring all your links to a single place and perform great both on desktop and mobile devices.
Apart from a navigation bar, add search boxes and filtering options that will help those customers find specific products and brands.
Add internal links to help customers explore new content.
Show breadcrumbs to help visitors understand where they are while browsing through your site
Tumblr media
Provide Exceptional Customer Service
With so many brands in your industry, you need to give your customers a good reason to purchase from you. Before making buying decisions, customers will compare different online stores, their services, products, prices, etc.
Apart from amazing website design and top-quality products, seamless customer service will help you stand out in the competitive market. According to research, 1 in 3 customers would not purchase from you again after a negative experience with your brand, while over 90% of them would never come back after two negative experiences.
To provide exceptional customer support, offer real-time feedback across multiple channels. Provide live chat options. Once your customer support representatives clock off, let customers chat with your website or social media chatbot that provides relevant feedback 24/7. You should also have a detailed knowledge base and an FAQ section for users that prefer self-service.
Keep Communications Transparent
E-commerce logistics plays an important role in increasing customer satisfaction. If a customer sees a product on your website, adds it to the shopping cart, spends time filling out the form, and then sees that the product is temporarily out of stock, they will probably leave your site frustrated. The same applies to delivery services. The abovementioned study says that half of the customers believe that retailers are responsible for product delays, while 74% of them say that late deliveries harm brand perceptions.
That is why you need to keep your communications with customers transparent. Let customers track their package. Before purchasing from you, inform them about the estimated delivery date. Show how many items there are in your stock. Amazon does this for every product on its site. If there are any shipping problems, keep customers updated and provide refunds.
Sure, to do any of that, you will first need to optimize your manufacturing and inventory management processes. Keeping track of your materials, orders, inventory, and sales can be complex if you are still entering data manually into spreadsheets. This is where you could use cloud-based manufacturing software and centralize these activities under a single platform.
Personalize User Experiences
Surveys show that 62% of online customers expect to get personalized offers. For them, one-size-fits-all offers do not work anymore. There are numerous ways to tailor your e-commerce brand messaging to your customers’ specific needs:
Track customers’ geolocation, browsing patterns, and historical purchases to offer more relevant products and services.
Segment your emails. When a customer signs up for your newsletter list, ask them about what kind of products, promotions, and content they are interested in. Based on their preferences, segment customers into relevant groups and send the promotions they care about.
Personalize user experiences on your website. Use AI chatbots to personalize interactions with customers and recommend relevant products. Sephora even lets users upload their photos to try out different makeup products and choose the right one.
Create Awesome Content
In the digital marketing landscape, content creation is critical. It lets you position yourself as an authoritative online resource, engage users, and deliver value to them.
Start by creating informative, unique, and data-backed articles. Produce infographics, whitepapers, comprehensive how-to guides, and tutorials to solve your customers’ problems and inform them about the latest industry trends.
Focus on visual content. Remember that your customers cannot see or feel your products. Take photos of products from multiple angles. Use 360-degree videos that will make your products even more appealing. Video content, such as unboxing videos or tutorials, is always great, as it evokes emotions in users, engages them, and inspires brand loyalty.
Finally, focus on user-generated content. Make testimonial videos and let your satisfied customers tell your story. Case studies will explain what problems your customers faced and how they solved them using your products.
Conclusions
Today’s e-commerce landscape has become increasingly customer-centric. Precisely because of that, you should optimize your website with your shoppers’ needs in mind. And, these tactics may serve as your solid starting point.
